The charms classroom has been completely transformed from the last time you were here. Instead of the hard well polished stone floor, there is a a fluffy white carpet

that covers the entire floor. Colourful cushions

are also placed in neat rows where the desks and chairs usually stood. In the corner of the room stands a large container filled with balls

There is a sign just outside the door to the room in bold flashing letters :
Please remove your shoes and place them in your book bag or in to the side of the class. As is usual ensure that you are properly attired and neat. When you do enter, pick a cushion and sit on it, keep talking to a minimum.
There professor is standing at the front of the class with her arms folded waiting for you all to be seated.
While waiting for class to start, how could one NOT look around? The classroom was way too unusually colorful to not. So, yes, Ellie spotted her best friend a few cushions away. Was he there before she was? Did she not even notice? Could she move over to him before Bellaire started class?
No, apparently. She'll just get to him when they finally got to play with the balls, she supposed. In the meantime...
Hovering Charms? Seriously? Ellie's eyebrow shot up. She was better than those. Hovering Charms were rudimentary and boring. But, nonetheless, the girl half-heartedly flicked and swished her empty hand. Satisfied, Bellaire? Ready to teach her something she didn't know?
Or just let her play with the balls? That would keep her happy.

Hopefully West would actually learn a spell in the class this time. Like learn it and do it properly and all that. He'd put his shoes by Aspen's, given that Joao boy a WARNING look (not that he expected the seventh year to mess with Odessa footwear, but you never knew) and then he sat with his sister in a gesture of solidarity, even though he would MUCH MUCH rather sit with his besties.
He tried his best to angle his feet so that Aspen wouldn't notice the holes in his socks... but at least they were clean.
It was gonna stink in here. It was. Not on account of West since he was careful to keep his feet clean so that his sister wouldn't get on his case, but SOMEONE would have stinky feet.

West could SAY that well enough so he concentrated on trying that movement thing. With his finger, which felt weird. Really weird. He peeked at Aspen. Weird right? Felt weird.

They're doing some hovering charm today. Interesting... really, interesting. Jonathan couldn't remember when was the last time he used this charm in school or rather was taught by the Professor. It sounded and looked fun but the Charms professor is just so prim and proper strict, she might be actually scarier than the dragon lady in the dungeons.
Since she didn't really expect an explanation, Jonathan went along with the wand movement. So the wand movement is swish and flick but of course, it has to be as perfect as possible.
Jonathan positioned his hand in front of him and with the Professor's cue, he began doing the wand movement in a fluid motion as she suggested it to be. For now, no wands are required but Jonathan just readied them on his table, he knows that after this no wand activity they'll go right on with the real deal.

It was not very funny if she didn't allow him to join his class JUST because he looked messy. He tightened his tie, tucked in his shirt, put some gel to his hair to make it better and cleaned his shoes. Err.. he didn't feel too comfortable with this. Well, at least there's only one Professor who liked to make uniform inspection, right? If all of the school staffs did this, surely he wouldn't enjoyed Hogwarts.
The blonde guy walked to the classroom, thank Merlin he was not late. Realized that there was a noticeboard, he took off his shoes and put it on his bag. He watched Professor Bellaire was standing in front of class. "Good day, Professor." said him polite, though he didn't like her. Then he picked a cushion and sat down.
Zhenya had spotted her boyfriend as she walked in the class. She saw there were some pillows near him, so she had gone to sit by him. Of course she hadn't said anything because she didn't want attention drawn. She sat a good distance away from him, although she did want to hug him. But... maybe later.

Oh, they were going to be learning Wingardium Leviosa? Good thing Zhenya had already learned it. She was far from being a master, of course, but she did know how to make things like feathers and parchment hover. Nothing heavy though.
She made sure her wand wasn't in her hand, and she practiced her swish and flick, following the Professor to make sure she did it right. And she did. That was good, she hated practicing a spell she had already learned, only to discover she didn't actually know HOW to do it. It was like re-learning the alphabet or something. Well, maybe that wasn't difficult for Zhenya.
Just to make sure she knew what she was doing, she practiced the swish and flick a few more times.

Hovering charm...
This definitely had Lily grinning. She hadn't mastered this charm yet, even though she had attempted it in the past. Looking around, she couldn't decide whether they would be levitating the balls or the cushions. But either way the second year was excited. So carefully she started swishing and flicking with her empty hand....

All right. Hovering charm. Easy schmeezy. Mordred paid attention to the movement Professor Bellaire made, and nodded. Mordred sat up straight, totally ignoring Oakey and rolled his right shoulder. He knew well, that movement was one of the keys in getting the charm right.
He then mimicked the movement, swish and flick several times and started to mutter the incantation: “Wingardium Leviosa.”

Kaiden sat on his blue pillow, and wiggled his toes, just wishing to run them through that fluffy looking carpet. His sock were the only thing keeping him from doing it, but he was sure taking his socks off would be frowned upon. It was something his mother would never allow, so he knew it wouldn't fly here. Even if the room didn't look as intimidating as it did in the last class. Hovering charm? The only hovering the boy new about was hover-boards, and hover crafts. Were they gonna learn about some sort of cool wizard transportation?
The boy listened intently to the incantation, and the movement type. He began pulling out his wand, but stopped when she said without. So, he moved his arm in a swish and flick motion, more similar to conduction an orchestra than the actual movement.

He took out his wand and stopped short. Wait the Professor said wandstroke without the wand. Guh, old habits die hard.
Replacing his wand back to its holster, he raised his and index finger and did the ol swish and flick motion "Wingardium Leviosa"
He felt like a orchestra conductor.

Well, now. That was jumping straight into things, now wasn't it? ...and why were they learning Wingardium Leviosa anyway? Wasn't that one of the most basic of charms?! Maybe Sierra was just in a bad mood. Either way, she found herself holding out an imaginary wand (in other words, her arm and finger) and giving it a fluid swish and flick. "Wingardium Leviosa!" she said.
So should she do it again or something? Because she was finished way too early. Hmm. "Wingardium Leviosa!" she said, again doing the whole swish and flick motion with her arm and finger. As she put her arm back down by her side, Sierra looked up at the professor, wondering what the activity might be.
Was she that ready to do more charms work? Ehh. Nah. It beat sitting here and doing nothing, though.

Little Dora had placed her shoes in her bag, not cause she didn't trust any of the other students to steal or mess with them, but because she didn't wanna have to scramble with the others to retrieve them when class was over. She would just leaved in socked feet.
This practicing with the finger thing.. it was interesting cause it was weird and not how she practiced stuff with a wand. Still she did her best practicing with her finger, imagining that she was levitating classmates' shoes with each swish and flick.

Harvey smiled.. they would be doing a hovering charm today?! wow! soo cool! he thought as he watched the professor show them the wand movement for this charm and they were told practice without the wands.. he wasnt happy that she had said that.. but then again.. if last years Transfiguration lesson was anything to go by.. it was better that they did it without wands first.. so thats what he did.. he went onto practice the wand movement..

Gideon was actually thankful for the class to finally start for it tore his attention towards something far more productive then dwelling on something he surely couldn't change at the moment. Right...they were to be dealing with the hovering or levitation charm. Wingardium Leviosa. Simple enough to do since it was one of the beginner charms on which to learn. Keeping his wand within his pocket for now since they were just supposed to practice the wand movement, the Gryffindor gripped his fingers as if he was actually holding his wand and moved his hand in the swish-and-flick gesture associated with the spell.
Oh! Levitation spells. This was going to be fun! They were probably going to end up levitating the balls that were in the corner but who knew. Addie wasn't sure exactly how she was supposed to practice the movement without her wand though. Addie lifted her pointer finger of her right hand and swish and flicked it. Swish and flick. Swish and flick. This was going to be a fun lesson making objects levitate. Addie only hoped that they would get to do that soon rather than just sit there swish and flicking their fingers.

Alyssa loved performing the hovering charm. Keeping her wand holstered, she used mimicked holding a wand and practiced the movements the way they had been taught to do.
She moved her hand in a swish and flick motion...

She continued to do that while enjoying the feel of the carpet under her toes. It felt nice to be able to take off her shoes and go barefoot in class.

Jordan didn't know which was more ridiculous, practicing the incantation without wands, or the way this classroom was setup. But nonetheless, he practiced the incantation, already knowing it in his sleep. With all these cushions, Jordan was sure he could go to sleep. Never would he thought that Charms would be this odd.

Annabelle heard the professor's instructions. She heard the professor to instruct the class to preform windgardium leviosa. She knew this spell like the back of her hand. She used her finger and did the movement about three times to practice.

Ahh good, this would be an easy day. Alex knew Wingardium Leviosa so well he was certain he could do it in his sleep...and now he understood why there were cushions and such everywhere. At least, he THOUGHT he understood.
He took out his wand and practiced the motion along with everyone else. Swish and flick. Swish and flick. It was one of the more simple wand movements that they learned, so it came naturally to him now.
