It's evening, sun is setting and as is usual it is pretty cool. The professor dressed in long flowing silver robes is waiting outside the forest for you. Please form a line and wait for further instructions.
OOC: This lesson won't start officially for a few days, this is to give everyone a chance to RP arriving and so forth. There should be no reason for anyone to turn up late for the lesson then . While your character is allowed to talk, please keep chatting to a minimum. Do not clutter the thread with unrelated conversation.

Jory felt a bit apprehensive about going into the Forest but it was sort of exciting at the same time. He patted his pocket to make sure Furball was safely tucked away.
"Wonder what we'll be doing in there,'' he thought to himself as he followed the others.
Hugging her robes to herself, Chelle walked up to the neat line where all the students were waiting for the Charms lesson to begin. She had never really ventured into the Forbidden Forest- not by herself, and not with anyone else. She felt a little apprehensive. On top of that, she knew that they were supposed to bring along their Pygmy Puff, and not only did she not have one, but she had no clue what it was. She looked around, searching for any friendly faces, while she waited impatiently for Professor to give out instructions.

"Um..I suppose. I haven't really given it much thought yet." She'd probably find the answer soon enough. Hopefully. And..just then, she heard the Professor call out three students to the front. Seriously? She wasn't that surprised..after what happened the previous class. Heh. Whatever.
Ooooh! They were FINALLY going to enter the forest. It was 'bout time, in fact. They'd been waiting for far too long. The Prefect noticed Professor Romanos join them as well..hm. Curious.
With a small smile on her face, she started to follow the others into the forest before she suddenly turned towards Stella again. "This is actually kind of exciting..don't you think?" Her eyes drifted towards Blue for a moment..and caught her eye. Evelyn smiled at the girl, hoping that it would reassure her. Blue looked pretty scared.
It had really seemed like Professor Bellaire was stalling their entrance into the forest for the lesson, but at least Stella had the distraction of her conversation with Evelyn to keep her from wondering too much about why they weren't just getting the field trip over with. Along with concern over the three who had been called out, seeing as she knew two of them and the third was one of her housemates. She was just hoping that trouble wasn't going to occur before class truly began, and she'd turned back to Evelyn as the prefect had responded to her statement about the holidays. At least her apology had either been accepted or dismissed as unnecessary, which relaxed her a bit more. "I did," she agreed, keeping the conversation quiet so as not to miss if the professor spoke again. "Although there was a bit of stress at first, since Matt's entire family was there as well." She thought things had gone as well as they could have for the first meeting, however. She wasn't about to drag that topic on unless Evelyn seemed curious.
Instead, the focus went on the other girl, and the inevitable mention of studying for NEWTs, and she smiled back. "I'm trying to get started with that, too, along with lessons," she replied. It was a bit hard to focus on classes and exams when people were freezing right and left in lessons, mysteriously and frighteningly. Plus, now they were going to be heading into the Forbidden Forest, which was scary enough without worrying about how Professor Bellaire might react to someone freezing in the middle of her lesson. "I'm sure you'll figure it out soon," she responded absently at the awkward answer to her last question, as she noticed Professor Romanos joining them with a box. Hmm, are there more pygmy puffs in there?, she wondered, remembering the note that the creatures would be provided if needed. Not that it was necessary, seeing as Nuage was still tucked up against her neck under her scarf. At least there would be two professors with them, which made her feel a bit safer.
Especially as, what seemed like moments later, Professor Bellaire announced they were going to start heading into the forest, and she ended up a step or two behind Evelyn as the line started proceeding forward. She sped up as the Hufflepuff had turned back, however, catching up so she was walking next to her but still in the line. "Exciting is one way of putting it," she replied wryly, giving Blue a smile as well as she saw her little DADA partner glancing over nervously. They wouldn't let anything happen to the little firstie. She'd just pretend she wasn't as scared as she really was. It was just a bit of acting after all.

Medea glanced to the forest as it was mentioned, though as she heard her name, she turned her attention back to the students and smiled a little. Hmmm, lines. Alrighty then.
"Of course." she quietly said with a nod to Sophia. The back she shall go! Waiting for most of the remaining students to start heading into the forest, following the really really shiny professor, she took up the back. Couldn't help but glance down to the student near her though, seeing the silent message being mouthed to her. Hehe.
Medea smiled a little and winked at Isidora. Now, on the lookout for any...thing.

Delilah smiled as Joao stood right in front of her. "Olá." ... Hmm. Her mush of an Irish accent didn't really work with Portuguese... Eh, never mind. The girl felt considerably calmer now Joao was so close, though. He was tall and reeeeeeeally good with his spells... She had no chance of getting lost or attacked by anything in the forest.
As they were walking into the forest, Delilah decided that she might as well ask Joao what she'd been wondering. She poked his lower back. "Joao? Why did Professor Bellaire single you and the other two out before?"
They're going to the forest. They're going to the forest. Lalalalalala. He couldn't stopped humming that words over and over again on his head. Since day one Messer wanted to go to the Forbidden Forest and now is his chance.
Oh look who decided to join them. The DADA Professor. That's good since they're going to the Forbidden Forest and Professor Bellaire needs someone to accompany her because the Hufflepuff was pretty sure they'll be quite handful for her to take care by herself.
As the line started to move with Professor Bellaire as their leader, Messer stayed close to the person in front of him.

So cool they were actually going into the Forrest for the lesson! Straightening himself up at the back of the line he began to ponder what it was they would be doing in the Forbidden Forrest for the lesson. The only thing that came to mind were the creatures that lived there, but wouldn't that be more suited for a COMC class?
Then all Oakey could think of were the creatures of the Forrest, especially the Blast-Ended-Skrewt from last term that appeared twice. The damned beast even gave Oakey a real nasty bruise. He grabbed his side remembering it's attack last year. It would be wonderful if Oakey could get revenge on the farting crab, that was unlikely though.
As the class began to move so did Oakey he moved to quickly and accidently stepped on the back of Vicker's foot. S-sorry Oakey whispered quietly.

Careeeeefully he walked along, keeping pace with the line of movable feast students. But suddenly he found himself stumbling accidentally, partly hitting the person in front of him. "Uhm sorry." he whispered automatically to whoever it was in front of him before turning quickly behind him. Someone stepped on his shoe!
That annoyed look melted away when he realized it was the younger Puff "Oh its you Oakey... " he whispered and shook his head casually "Dont worry about it." he added as he fidgeted with the shoe for a bit so he can walk properly again.
He looked up, the moon peering between the tree tops and illuminating them. How many creatures of the Forest are looking at them now huh? Checking out who they can pick off first? "Why are we here?" he mumbled nervously.

Oakey winced when Vickers turned to face him. He was gonna have it, Vickers was a Ravenclaw and would no doubt go crazy and curse poor Oakey to next Tuesday
He opened his eyes and blinked curiosly? N-no problem? Really? But, he bumped into him. are you sure?
Then Vickers really creeped him out. Did he have to sound so scared when he asked that. Now he was scared too. I don't know he responded hesitantly.
There was some wind in the air. Nothing like a cool night breeze right? Except that it made Oakey shiver and the sound it made as it rustled the leaves. How was he going to tell if there was something watching them. Way to go Vickers you've got Oakey clutching the wand in his robe now.

It was a little noticeable that Professor Bellaire was very nervous about this. She had her wand gripped tightly in her hand and at the ready and every now and then when there was rustling in the bushes or trees she'd point her wand at it. She was no DADA teacher or professional dueler but she was not going to get attacked nope.
She looked behind her to make sure the students were maintaining the lines and everyone was okay.
Finally they got to the clearing that had a large tree with low hanging branches. It was situated in an area where there was just enough space to let moon light in through the canopying trees. Perfect for her lesson today.
She turned to face her class.
"Alright everyone, please gather around. This is where the lesson will be held.As you can see it's very grassy, so if you wish, you can sit down." The good thing about being this deep was, there was no snow.
She motioned for professor Ramanos to come and stand by her.
"The charm we will be looking at today is called Lunae-Pluvia Niteo." She used her wand to write the words in big glowing letters in the air.
"Can anyone here guess what this spell does?"

So they had gotten to the clearing...and could sit? Elliot glanced down at the grass with a disgusted look....nah, she'd just stand. Didn't wanna' get dirty. She saw the words, and she tried to think about it...she thought back to her studies...everything her father had taught her...
She raised her hand. "Professor, is is to make something shine like the moon? But there's the pluvia in there..." she asked, a bit confused. And she didn't think that the right answer at all...but hey, it was a guess. Something with a moon, shining or water...

The walk was actually nice in Medea's opinion. The weather was cold, but not unbearable to her and the forest was a new sight. At least, a different angle of it that is. Her concern for the rustling bushes or trees wasn't as great as the Charms professor's, but she was still on her guard just in case.
Alas, they arrived in a clearing it looked like. She moved up to the front with the box to stand by Sophia as instructed, eying the big glowing letters written in the air. There was lots of shiny going on it seemed.

Isidora had made sure to keep by Ramanos the entire trip trough the forest, safety first (who better to keep them safe than the nice DEFENSE professor lady?) Her mind did wonder to thoughts like why there were here, why they needed pygmy puffs, and why this lesson was being held at night fall.
Other thoughts floated through as well, but these were the most important clearly.
She didn't even have a response for the question she was so distracted by her own thoughts and the loss of Professor Ramanos from her side. Dora didn't really want to be THAT close to the front, but it was safer up there.
She looked around thoughtfully at the older students.

João chuckled softly at her try of the simplest word 'Olá'. "We'll work on that too," he offered with a smile, half jokingly. He liked her accent though... maybe she could correct his Latin accent too. He liked that better.
And then, as he was deep into his own ideas, watching Aspen's back absent-mindedly, he was poked in the back. He jumped a little not because of fear but because he was tickled. He leaned backwards to hear her clearly. Oh. That. He sighed.
"Because Paulie--the Head Boy in the first line--made a scene and tried to involve us too in the last lesson." Yeah, he was blaming it all on Paulie. Because he was the dork. Aspen and he, obviously, couldn't be the guilty ones. They were the victims here.

Then they arrived. He looked around, still keeping by Delilah, and smiled to himself. It was a beautiful scenery. He had noticed how tense the professor had been, too, whereas his own tension was half-gone. Professor Romanos was here, as well as a few older students. Surely everything would just be fine? He cleared his throat and turned to face the professor who had just asked a question. He raised his hand to answer.
"Something to do with shining and raining." He paused. "Perhaps it's used to clear the air in rainy days?" Or something along those lines?

Lily did not like this one bit. The forest was not a place for students to be in during the day, let alone at night. It was called forbidden for a reason... so that almost made this lesson forbidden. Once they reached their destination, the second year didn't even think about sitting down. If they sat then there would be a possibility of not being able to get away from an attack. Totally not cool!! With every little rustle of the forest, Lily nearly froze...just like all the other students had, just not for the same reason. THIS WAS WAY TOO SCARY...
And now they were actually having a class....in the forbidden forest!! Not cool...
Ok... to answer the question. The redhead took a second to think about what the spell could mean. She noticed that it sounded like moon luna and night or something like that. Raising her hand, she quickly made a guess. "Does it make things glow like the moon in the dark? Or reflect the moonlight?" Kinda like the professor's robes...

Professor Bellaire's uneasiness while they trekked through the forest didn't go unnoticed. Ella had jumped every time the professor had, wondering what the woman was hearing or seeing that Ella wasn't. The fact that she couldn't really hear or see much of anything was making her feel quite uneasy herself and she stuck to her line, sometimes walking a little to close to the person in front of her. She hoped they weren't cross with he-Oof.
The second year had been too busy eyeing her surroundings to know they were stopping and looked at the person in front of her apologetically before turning her attention to Bellaire again. So this is where class was going to be held? *GULP* Wasn't a clearing like the perfect place for an ambush?! Ella looked around, hoping to spot an older friend she could cling to just in case anything went down. Or maybe they would just find her, especially since the professor had given them the option to sit. And sit Ella did, pulling her cloak tighter around herself for warmth. "Professor, I also think it might have something to do with the moon or moonlight."
And before she knew it, they were walking onwards to a clearing with a shining moonlight. The path was definitely dark but it was safe to know that somewhere along the Forbidden Forest, one could still see light. She looked around and saw others try to sit down on the grass as per the Professor suggested. Feeing a bit comfortable now from the moon above, she plopped herself down crossing her legs.
And as Erin heard the Professor's first question, she was clueless. So, better be quiet and wait for the older ones' responses and little ones' guesses.

Elise trudged through the forest obediently, behind the scarycleanfreak Professor. She was terrified, and the fact that Professor Bellaire kept twitching and jumping every now and then didn't help her nerves a bit.
They did, however, find a clearing and when instructed to sit down, she did so. Moon-light. Rain? Raising her hand somewhat hesitantly, she waited to be called upon before she answered. "It would have something to do with moonlight and water, right Professor?" she asked, looking around her.
Laura looked at the Professor and smiled. "It sends up an SOS incase we are lost, we say the words and some sparks go flying out of our wands and then BANG in the sky are three letter SOS." Laura had no idea if she was right but well she thought it was a good guess after all they would need an SOS in the forbidden forest right, after all the creatures had finished with them.

Alyssa sat on the grass joining the others. She listened as the Professor told them what charm they would be using.
She thought of the possibilities of what the words meant before raising her hand.
"Professor breaking down the words Lunae means something to do with the Moon, Pluvia is latin for shower and Niteo is latin for glitter or to shine"
"If that is what is actually means that could the spell have something to do with using the moonlight to shower or shine it's light on us...maybe to make this place brighter or something."
"Professor, lunae-Pluvia Niteo - maybe as lunae has to do with a moon, Pluvia in latin means to rain or shine while Niteo means in latin to shinem maybe we are making full moons...." Sarah said tryingly.
Silvia followed the line into the forest. Every now and then she turned her head at the faint rustlings, but she wasn't too worried; the professors should be able to handle any danger they might come across, and they wouldn't be going into the forest if it was deemed too risky. Finally they reached a clearing and stopped.
Silvia raised her hand when the professor mentioned what spell they would be working on. "Does it have something to do with the moon? Because it has the word lunae in it which I think refers to the moon."

Annabelle got to the clearing and was amazed at how open it was. It felt awesome to be here at night and breathe in the fresh forest air. "Professor i think the spell is used to conjure some sort of light from the moon?" Belle said. I mean she knew what Lunar meant the moon and it was her best guess. She was still admiring the stars in the sky even though she was really cold. She rather stand than sit on the cold ground.

Justin followed along until the class came to a clearing and he listened to the question and his hand shot up... " Professor, The charm might be for somehoew making the moon rays of light to be directed toward whatever you wish? "

Well, it was better than roaming around those trees and fallen branches and bugs and possible baby acromantulas. But... sit on the grass? Nuh-uh. Nora wasn't going to do that, because it was cold anyway. She knew she was very close to catching a cold, and she surely didn't want to speed up the process.
As for the charm... she was tempted to suggest conjuring moonlight, but then thought that conjuring instantly meant Transfiguration. "Maybe it's something like Lumos?" The girl said as she raised her hand. "But with moonlight?" It would be cool to make the clouds go away whenever she wanted in case she got lost in the dark. Not that she had any intention of wandering around the Forbidden Forest at night.
