Oh! Shiny rainbow! Half expecting Sophia to be all rainbow like for the remainder of the lesson, the disappointment when she went back to her normal shimmery self was a bit unexpected. Then again, the less noticeable one was in this forest, the better. And here was her queue again. As a few students came up to choose a pygmy puff, Medea picked on out as well, holding it up a little to examine it. She had no clue as to why Sophia called them rodents. Medea hated rats and the like, but this was no rodent at all! And in her moment of thoughts, she forgot about the charms professor's...dislike...of the creatures as she held it towards the woman to take. |
As much as Erin did not like pygmy puffs, they weren't rodents. They didn't have sharp teeth. Though, she would admit, when stuck into a tough situation on what to choose between rodents and pygmy puffs, she would gladly choose the former. They were adorable, don't they? And for a wrong try, those pygmy puffs would lose their hair. Least, Erin wouldn't be using herself for that rainbow stuffs. Erin looked at the students who'd brought their pygmy puffs with them. Most unfortunate people. She wouldn't risk Posy - the cat - to suffer from hair loss even if that's just temporary. She was just too adorable to be bald. With that, Erin walked towards the box and get herself one, anything would do. They'd still be losing their hair anyway. |
See her after class? Theodore was not sure whether to be excited or terrified. He just blinked at her. When she said 'rodents', did she mean the pygmy puffs? Theodore didn't know but he didn't have one anyway. Like HIM of all people would own a furry, girly, creepy little thing like a pygmy puff. No. He very warily moved from his stance and picked up a puff from the box. HAIR LOSS? "The pygmy puffs get hair loss? Or WE do?" Cos he cared nothing for the 'rodents'. But Theo's luscious locks were precious. |
Evil Vampire professorrrrr SPOILER!!: vampire woman and Theo lsdkgfdfjgf! There was a shriek..a horrible shriek as Medea held up the Pygmy puff towards Sophia. The woman backed all the way up to the trunk and plastered herself against it to keep as far away from the creature as possible. The look of horror and disgust was unmistakable. "Merlin's Beard Medea!" She put her hand where her heart was dramatically. "The reason you are here is so I don't have to touch those rats." She was so flustered, but she managed to compose herself in order to answer Theo. "The rodents, not you..carry on." Right, she brushed back her hair a bit and straightened her robe and continued waiting for the rest of the class to prepare for the rest of the lesson. |
Hmmm a rainbow professor. It looked pretty cool...too bad it was on the evil professor and that made Hannah not really like it. Yes she was still stuck on the first lesson and the experience she had. Oh well. She would have to get over it. Hannah was momentarily appalled by the fact that the professor said that would be getting a rodent. Hannah was not pleased with working with a rodent. She was thinking about being defiant when she realized that the "rodent" was just a pygmy puff. Really? She had to fight the urge to not roll her eyes. She didn't of course...she knew this professor would blow her gasket. She went to the box and picked out a puff. She turned to go back to her spot that she was STANDING at...not sitting. Ugh...some people had no home training. All of a sudden Hannah jumped because she heard this god awful scream and was sure they were under attack. She turned in the direction of the scream and had to hide her face. She was trying hard not to laugh at the professors response to the fluffy creature. Merlin's beard...the were the forrest. They were already on high alert. The last thing they needed was a screaming professor. |
Ooooooh! How lovely! Ella watched with a smile as Professor Bellaire shined with all the different colors of the rainbow. It was quite a pretty sight, especially in such a dark and dreary place. It also did a lot to help Professor Bellaire seem a little less scary. She should really wear rainbow colors more often, it suited her. Wait...they were going to be testing this charm on their pygmy puffs?! Ella looked down at her pocket and hesitantly pulled Barnabus out. Possible hair loss? The second year studied Barny carefully, trying to imagine what he'd look like bald. YIKES. Bald WOULD NOT be a good look on him. She held him up in the palm of her hand and brought him close so she could whisper to him. "No worries, little guy. I'm not going to make you bald or anything...hopefully." O_____O Ella jumped up, shoving Barnabus back into her pocket when she heard the awful loud shriek. Merlin's Beard! Were they being attacked?! She looked around her with wide eyes, utterly confused as there didn't appear to be any dark creatures approaching them. Scratching her head, she searched the crowd looking for the awful shrieker...O___o Professor Bellaire? The second year was surprised that it was in fact their instructor who had yelped like that. And about a little pygmy puff. That was just plain silly. With a shrug she removed Barny again and waited for the next set of instructions. |
Delilah watched in wonder as the professor demonstrated how the charm worked; her eyes lighting up as the rainbow colours appeared. Oh, wow. I NEEEEEED to master this spell! It nearly made the professor look... well, not scary. She waited for a few students to go and get pygmy puffs before going and getting her own. The professor's reaction to the pygmy puff was ... interesting. Terrifyingly interesting. She didn't need to scream like that! It would give away their position. THINGS WOULD COME AND GET THEM!! Delilah looked up at Joao, questioningly. Professors weren't supposed to be afraid of anything! What was so scary about them, though? They were just pinkish balls of fluff! Picking a particularly fluffy pygmy out, Delilah frowned. It'd lose its fur if she got the charm wrong... and Delilah usually got it wrong... "I'm sorry, little fella. You're probably going to go back into the box bald." Making her way back through the other students, Delilah found Joao again and grinned. Shiny rainbow charms. Hehehe. She'd be able to do this, totally. |
*gigglesnort" rodents XD Whoah.... talk about Technicolor Robes. Vickers looked on, eying the Professor and what happened to her robes when she neared the tree. Pretty soon he figured it wasnt the tree itself but the moonlight upon it that brought the robes to do what it just did. Plus the spell of course, the one they were just talking about earlier. Amusing he must say, just wondering what the practical uses of it A brow went up when the Professor started talking about rodents. What rodents? Has she been *blink* Well suffice it to say nobody should be gifting her a Pygmy Puff anytime soon.... He stood and neared the Romanos, giving her a polite smile before peering into the box, and randomly plucked one out for himself. In the dim light of the forest the pygmy puff looked like a dull blue, but as he tried angling it around in his hand he could tell it was of a brighter color. Despite his challenges with Hendrix from their COMC class last term he kinda felt bad about using the pygmy puffs as the apparent lab rats in this lesson. He'd better make sure he doesnt mess up |
Alyssa held on to Nerfball tightly. They were going to use their pets. She blinked a couple of times before slowly pulling Nerfball out of her jacket. "Don't worry Nerfball, Professor Romanos will protect you."Alyssa reassured her shivering Pygmy Puff. "And she will replace whatever Professor Bellaire removes." Alyssa looked at Professor Romanos |
Paulie wasn't sure what Joao was whispering to that girly back there, but when the Head Boy DID happen to catch his name in there somewhere, he whipped his head around and narrowed his eyes at the Slytherin. Lies, no doubt. Total fabrication! He walked on further, to.. wherever this crazy professor was taking them. Feeling somebody - or maybe someTHING - close to him, Paulie turned. And when he turned, BAM. His skull clunked right into.... right into.... ASPEN ODESSA'S. "Oh my GOSH," he exaggerated, his palm moving to his temple where his head had been hit. "'Cause of YOUR total disregard for my personal space, we butt heads. Literally." There had to be a reason behind her closeness, too. Sprinkling maggots in his hair? Planning to yank the little hairs from the back of his NECK?! He had actually held up the line for a moment during this, all because of Aspen Odessa. Just for a sec, though. "I shouldn't be surprised. Givin' head injuries seems to be a hobby of yours.." Now.. finally, Bellaire came to a halt. So, the lesson had to do with that shimmery dress of hers, huh? Paulie watched as she stepped to and from the tree, the fabric changing with each action. Okay, right, now get a rodent - AKA pygmy puff. But, as he meandered on over to get on of the little guys, someone shrieked! His head snapped up and he found that the source of the scream was none other than their own professor. He quirked an eyebrow. What the..? "Professor Bellaire, you're in a dark forest with, like, a million big, deadly creatures, and you're... afraid of a pygmy puff?" This woman was cray cray. |
Lunae-Pluvia Niteo A spell effected by moonlight? At least that was what he had gleamed from the incantation and the Latin used. Now that was of interest to Gideon, especially with his love of all things celestrial and the effects of such. The prefect listened as some of his classmates tried to answer on the possible effects of the spell in question, finally watching the woman demonstrate it on her robes. So cool. Following directions, he reached into his robe pocket and scooped Doyle out from within his nest in his scarf. Gideon nearly dropped him however as he reacted to the screech, only to look at its source and finding the charms professor freaking out about the pygmy puff Professor Romanos was holding out for her. Somebody seriously didn't like the harmless fluffy creatures. ...or the rodents as she called them. "Don't worry..." the sixth year quietly and absently assured his charge. "Ye wont be going near her...or loosing hair." Hearing Paulie's remark, Gideon bit his cheek to keep from laughing at the very true comment. |

Justin just snickered to himself... The bloody professor was scared of Pygmy Puffs... Merlin's beard. This lesson just kept getting funnier by the moment.... " It's just a little puff, Professor... Nothing to get all out of sorts about.... " he managed through his chuckle. |

So Nigel walked with his rat/puff over to where Laura wanted him to sit and sat down with his puff/rat ready to race. He then whispered "Are you guys ready?" |

Still sitting down and looking at all directions around her, Sophie only looked to professor Bellaire when the witch went to show them what the new spell did. OOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Forgetting about where they were and the danger that could simply appear out of nowhere, Sophie's eyes sparkled as professor Bellaire's robes started changing colours. Rainbowy like... wicked! She though out loud. YAY! Another awesome And it was time to practice! She wa totally ready for that! Sophie jumped up to her feet at once and went to get herself a random Pygmy Puff. It was a blue one this time, but she didn't feel like naming it. When she finally walked back to her spot, with a smile on her face, she heard the shriek. She quickly pulled out her wand and turned around, purposely bumping into Mordred, just to make sure he was still near. Yep. Wait... what?? Professor Bellaire was the one scared? And of... the Pygmy Puffs?? Whoa... that was quite strange. From all of the terrible creatures that could be surrounding them - shudder - the professor was afraid of those tiny, fluffy thingies?? Oookay then... Sophie kept holding her wand with one hand and the Pygmy Puff with the other and looked around again. What was Laura, Nigel and that older kid doing???? Didn't they know they were still in the Forbidden Forest????? AND that was a class! |
