Charms Lesson Three: Forbidden Forest It's evening, sun is setting and as is usual it is pretty cool. The professor dressed in long flowing silver robes is waiting outside the forest for you. Please form a line and wait for further instructions. OOC: This lesson won't start officially for a few days, this is to give everyone a chance to RP arriving and so forth. There should be no reason for anyone to turn up late for the lesson then ^_^. While your character is allowed to talk, please keep chatting to a minimum. Do not clutter the thread with unrelated conversation. |
Bundled up tightly in her school robes and with her Gryffidnor scarf wrapped around her neck, Kurumi began to tuck in the hanging bits of it into her heavy black robe so that it would not get in the way of...whatever it was they were going to be doing out here. Kurumi really wasn't sure what to expect...especially since they had been instructed to bring pygmy puffs with them if they had one. Which she didn't. Walnut had tried to eat her last one. Kurumi had to admit, she was secretly hoping to see Momotaro II again since they would be provided pygmy puffs. Somehow...the thought of bringing a pygmy puff TO the Forbidden Forest sounded like the most ridiculous thing ever. Were they trying to draw creatures out of the forest. Kurumi walked until she saw the Charms professor standing outside the forest and came to a halt. "Good evening, professor," Kurumi said in a soft voice, offering the woman her customary bow. |
Oh why did this class have to be in front of the Forbidden Forest in January. Nigel made the walk to the forest with his warm clothing on wondering what they could possibly be doing today that would require them to be outside when they could be in the nice warm and safe castle. Nigel did not have a pygmy puff, and wondered why we would need one. He was finally at the entrance to the forest and walked over to the professor and said "Good Evening Professor". He then turned walked into line behind Kurumi hoping this spot in line was warm. |
Zhenya walked down to the Forbidden Forest for Charms lesson. She didn't know what they would be doing... but she was definitely interested. She noticed the Professor, and only a small number of students already there. Pulling her scarf a tiny bit closer around her neck, she approached the small group and said "Hello Professor. Your robes look nice," and did a quick look down on herself to make sure her clothes were neat, tucked in, polished, pressed... clean... check, check, check, they were good. |
Brrrrr! The second year made her way out to the edge of the forbidden forest, Barnabus tucked away safely in her coat pocket. She could hear the little guy squeaking away and hoped he wasn't too cold. Speaking of cold... BRRRRR! Ella pulled her coat tighter around herself and crossed her arms, trying to keep warm. Her teeth were chattering slightly as she approached the small group of students now standing near the professor. "G-good evening." She chattered as cheerfully as she could to her professor, giving the woman a small smile. SQUEAAAKKKKK "Oh, I g-guess Barnabus is s-saying good evening too." The little blonde added sheepishly before heading over to stand with the other students in a line. |
Alyssa was surprised that their Charms lesson was going to be held in the Forbidden Forest. Care of Magical Creatures maybe, but Charms? 'Oh well I guess magic can be used anywhere and would definitely be useful in the Forbidden Forest.' Alyssa thought to herself as she walked down the path. She noticed that there were a few other students already waiting in line with Professor who was wearing a nice silvery flowing robe. "Good evening, Professor." Alyssa greeted the Professor before joining the other students standing in line. She was glad that she had dressed warm, because it was starting to get cool. She checked inside her jacket to make sure that Nerfball was safely tucked inside her pocket and wondered why the Professor had asked for them to bring their Pymgy Puff along if they had one. It was only because she trusted that the Professor would not do anything to harm her pet, that she had brought Nerfball along. She hoped that she was correct. |
Oh, dear. Nora had nothing against the Charms classes, since she'd gotten used to showing up with her uniform looking perfect and all, but why did this one had to be in the Forbidden Forest? There were SO many places around the castle, wonderful for any lesson... but no, they had to go to that creepy place! With her robes tightly wrapped around herself and the scarf in green and silver around her neck, the girl made her way as fast as possible to where the professor was waiting for them. "Good evening." |
Oh good a class that was outside, and for charms no less. This meant Oakey won't hit anything if he they were practicing the levitating charm outside, and Bellaire can't be mad at him for looking a little dirty. He spent all day today yet again wandering around the grounds as he does. The oddest part about his outfit was his boots, they were clearly two different ones. Hopefully because it was getting dark no one would notice his footwear. As he neared the group he gave the Neat Freak Professor a smile. Good Evening Professor Bellaire. |
Nate walked the path down from the school to the forbidden forest. He saw that there was a line forming. So he went to the back of the line saying "Good evening Professor." He saw Oakey was in front of him. So he then said "Hey Oakey." Looking up about four inches to see Oakey towering over him. |

Hey Nate, long time no see? Have you been hiding a lot? Oakey joked to the second year Puff. |
"Yeh. My shortness helps me when I'm hiding from someone like you who is tall." He giggled. "So. How's it feel being a fourth year this year?" He curiosly asked Oakey the tall giant. |
Woah, Badger invasion! He made his way down towards the Forest. WHY he was headed in that direction for CHARMS was beyond him.. but he just showed up where Bellaire asked. Hunkered down against the cold January wind, he still managed to spot the backs of several familiar figures. Woah, lots of Puffs already! he noted with pride, a warm glow momentarily heating him from within. But it was the Gryffindor Prefect he chose to stand by. He greeted Bellaire with a curt nod (it was cold out here, after all) before addressing the sixth year. "Hullo, Kurumi. It's cold out, eh?" Obvious, but worth acknowledging. "Can I expect to see Lewis here?" Lewis was one of his best mates at Hogwarts and lived in the same House, yet Keefer thought she would have a better idea of his intentions for attendance. |
BRRRR. It's COLD out here; there MUST be Sophias in the ATmosphere! As a matter of fact, there were. Professor Bellaire was dressed all fancy in silver robes and stuff as Paulie slowed his pace and came to a halt behind the person in front of him. A line, huh? Okay, sure. The Gryffindor shoved his hands in his coat pockets and peered around to the forbidden forest. Well.... whatever today's lesson was, hopefully it wouldn't be so dizzying, point-losing, and concussion-causing as the last Charms class..... AHEM. |
When the time had come to head down to the forest for charms class, Gideon did his best to keep track of the notes on the lesson announcement. He wasn't sure what the professor meant by a container of sorts since he didn't have a cage and wasn't about to close the creature up. So instead the prefect balled up his scarf, since Doyle liked it, in his robe pocket and allowed the pygmy puff to burron deep within. That was secure enough...right? And thankfully his own appearance still looked neat to follow the professor's other requirement. That being settled, he made his way down to the grounds with time to spare, the sixth year following along with his fellow students. Some had already arrived including Kurumi and Paulie and Gideon smiled softly at his two fellow lion leaders. "Good evening Professor," he greeted with a polite nod as he moved to take a spot in the line they were were to form in front of the forest. |
Mika wasn't liking this one bit her little pigmy puff was going to be a puffsicle - just like all the hufflepuffs in the area would be because of the cold weather. Pfft. She giggled at the idea of puffcicles. FROZEN HUFFLEPUFFS maybe she could feed one to something in the forest? No. She wouldn't do that she wasn't evil. Unless they tried to hurt her. Hmph. Petting Dev she just smiled and looked up at the Professor the Forbidden forest looked like a place that had nice creatures in it all wanting to nom on them. She wasn't scared. She planned on surviving it. "Good Evening Professor" She smiled nervously. Then spotted the only prefect she really knew. She'd stick by Scottish boy for safeties sake. |

Silvia made her way down to the edge of the forest where the Charms class was to meet, wrapped tightly in her school robes and scarf. What they were going into the forest for she had no clue. She would have thought that they would be avoiding the forest rather than entering it, after whatever the commotion was last year that involved it. But that didn't seem to be the case today. "Good evening, Professor," the young Ravenclaw said as she walked up to the end of the line that had been forming. There was no pygmy puff with her; she didn't have one. What would they be doing with them anyways, especially in the Forbidden Forest? |
So, this is Forbidden Forest? Walking to the forest, Gary tightened his scarf and robes. Merlin, it was very cold! Maybe after this class he could suffer hypotermic or pneumonia. He wondered why this class must be held in the forbidden forest, in the evening, and with puffer balls? (pygmy puff) Didn't she feel afraid if suddenly a dangeours creature attacked her or the students or her robes became dirty or something? "Good evening, Professor." said him calm. "ACHOOOO!" Good, he started to sneeze and honestly, he was not in good condition right now. |
Charms class.... being held just as nightfall is upon them.... near the Forbidden Forest. If this was DADA class, Vickers would think this is some kind of Pulling his heavy coat and scarf tighter about him his eyes looks warily towards the forest before shifting towards their Professor "Good evening Professor Bellaire" |
The Forbidden Forest interested Jory very much. He wondered what they'd be doing in there. "Good evening, Professor,'' he greeted before he headed off to join the line. He pulled his black and yellow scarf closer around him. Even though it was cold, he couldn't help but enjoy the air around. |
Forest? Were they spending the lesson outside the forest, or actually going in? Daisy wasn't scared, of course. There were loads of people, and a Professor, but she'd heard some... unusual stories about the forest. The kind that made her want to turn on her heel and run to the Astronomy Tower and hide. Of course she wasn't scared, but Daisy wasn't too keen on going in. But Charms was a safe subject, and a good one. So, pushing the forest thing out of her mind, Daisy ran to join the other students, seeing a lot of members from her house milling around, waiting for the lesson to start. 'Good evening, Professor,' she smiled, trying to stop her eyes from flickering to the dark trees behind him. |
CHARMS...... IN THE FORBIDDEN FOREST..... Anyone who ever doubted that Professor Bellaire was the best teacher at this school, were extreme idiots. It was getting dark, and cooold, so Theodore was dressed accordingly in his woolly gear. "Evenin', professor!" He said, extremely chipper. He DID wonder when they'd be on a first name basis. Wink wink. |
Cold.Scary.Almost dark. Great. Just great. Blue rubbed her arms (despite her thick cloak) as she made her way over to the forbidden forest. There had to be a reason that it was forbidden anyway. But still, Blue was a little bit excited. Especially when she saw to of her besties already at the class. Well, not really but she had to be polite. Yup. *shiver* |
Derrick had never taken muchc interest in the Forest but when he founded out that Charms Lesson was going to be At the Forest he was bursting to go.He headed down walking but after about,a minute broke into a run.Once he saw the other students and when they could see him he slowly stopped and walked calmly.''Good Evening Professor.''He said with a polite bursting smile. Yep,there was something wrong with him. |
OHNOES! Sophie could sense this would be that HoM/CoMC lesson they had last term all over again! Going into the FORBIDDEN Forest felt pretty much like diving in the Black Lake. Sophie was absolutely sure it was just as terrifying. Why were all of the professors being all crazy this term, making them do dangerous stuff??? Sophie would have gotten extremelly worried - well, even more worried - if this wasn't Hogwarts. She had always known Hogwarts was a safe place to be. But still... FORBIDDEN Forest. The name was self explanatory, no? She made her way there with a worried frown on her face. "Um... hello, professor Bellaire..." She greeted the older witch as she stood near some of her older friends. The professor would sure protect them if anything went wrong, but still, the more protection, the merrier. Heh. |
