If you wish to enter the Magical Creatures Sanctuary or, at some point in the year, the barnyard, sign your user name, your name, your House, your year, and that you have good intentions for being in these areas on the clipboard hanging outside the locked paddocks. If you signed up last year, you still need to read the rules and re-sign up, because some things... have changed.
And yes, Professor Williamson is still rather mistrustful of Hogwarts' youth.
