graphics by sweetpinkpixie After a long hard day of hunting, and lessons, or even just a busy weekend, your dormitories will be your haven. It will be more than just your home away from home, and it is the place where you can come and relax after a long day or a late night.
The four poster beds are surprisingly comfortable, and it's easy to get lost in the smooth red velvet covers. Should you want some privacy from your chatty dorm mates, feel free to close the hangings around you and lose yourself in sleep.
After all, every lion needs their rest.

Maxwell walked into his old dorm at the very top of Gryffindor Tower he laid down on his four-poster, he looked to where Helios' perch would be...He'd been forced to send him home, since he didn't have permission from the headmaster to have him there...Maxwell felt alone without his companion and was sure the bird felt the same. He waited for Jordan, he needed to talk to someone.

The stairs had slowed him down, but Gideon still made it up to the sixth year dorms at a good speed. No one was around so he simply headed towards the four-poster bed that was his own, his trunk and other belongings resting at the end of it. "Hey Corvin," he greeted his familiar as the raven perched on the headboard, the bird watching him as he grabbed his guitar case and placed it on top, opening it up to retrieve the instrument that lay carefully within.
With a quick strum or two, the prefect checked its tuning before closing up the case and returning it beside his trunk. Now to just see about playing for his runes. Taking no further look at the dorm room, Gideon headed back down stairs to return to his work.
