An area in the middle of the library has been cleared of bookshelves and other equipment to make room for a big round circle of bean bags in all colours of the rainbow. There are two big bean bags this time around, one that is purple and one that is blue. Professor Cerulean and Professor Bellaire are sitting at each of the bean bags anxiously awaiting the students.
In the middle of the circle of bean bags there is a stack of blue copies of the Beedle the Bard book and a giant sized bowl full of candy. The candy has only been brought to the meeting because Mr Kitridge left them for everyone and wants to give everyone a treat. ans Cerulean has brought a a cooler full of Muggle sodas for everyone as well. Any food or drink found in the library at other hours/occasions will be thrown out and the student/s will be punished.
Go ahead and take a seat on a bean bag of your choosing and help yourself to a candy treat as you make yourself a name card while you wait for the meeting to start!
OCC: The meeting will begin this evening. Please have a seat and grab a book from the stack! Keep chatting to a minimum! If you haven’t then please take time to familiarize yourself with the rules for the library. Sorry this is a day late...I sat around all day yesterday feeling like I was forgetting something.. See you in a few!

Alyssa thought for a while before raising her hand,"Professor I believe that the moral of the story is to be careful what you wish for because sometimes you end up regretting it. When given a wish make sure of the consequences before making it."
Then she thought about the second part of the question. She raised her hand again and said,"Professors if I had a chance to ask a question, I would ask Death why he didn't let anything bad happen to Ignotus Peverall, the owner of the Cloak of Invisibility. He could have made the Cloak be a dark object or something but he didn't." Alyssa hoped that it wasn't a dumb question to ask.
"Yes good job and I think the Golden Rule that the Muggles world uses and some Wizarding families live by explains it the best, 'Do unto other as you would have others do unto you'" she said with a smile...she personally thought that was a great rule, but sometime she knew it could be a hard one to live by.
She glanced down at the book to make sure she was fixing to talk about the right story..."Okay on to the next one...The Fountain of Fair Fortune......This is many wizards' favorite tale in the book. " she looked up at a few of the students that had mentioned it. "Let's have some fun...think about the witches in the book. If we were going to put a play together and cast people to play those witches whom either staff members or students do you think would best match each character...now remember this is just for fun..."
Sarah was putting up various staff members as members if cast in mind. She stifled a giggle.

"Since we are running short on time, let's skip to the most popular and more well-known story in the book, The Tale of the Three Brothers" she opened her book to the opening page and held it up. "An interesting tidbit, there is also a Muggle story called the Three Brothers....they are very similar in different aspects, but I won't focus on that story...I just wanted to throw that in there."
"Let's think about this story. What could we say is the moral of this story?" she asked the students and then followed up with another question, "And let's think even more in depth, if you could meet the author or original storyteller of this book, what would be one question you would ask them about the story or one of the three brothers?"
OOC: Feel free to answer one or both of the questions.
Sarah raised her hand "I think the moral of the story id that it is important for all of us to know that it is good to believe in ourselves, yet not to think that we are above all danger. Know one is the wisest person, no one is perfects, and although the other 2 brothers thought they were better then death after getting their gifts they were soon mistaken. Also not to play with fire." She paused and went on to her next answer. "I would ask the author how he heard this story, the 2 older brothers were dead and the third brother was hiding., so from where did he hear the story?"
The Hufflepuff was still listening, and she realised that they were now talking about the Tale of The Three Brothers. This had to have been the more famous story out of the whole book. She knew this story from back to front and she knew all about the Deathly Hollows and all. It was a really good story with good lessons too.
Renesmee politely raised her hand and then smiled at the Professor. "Professor, what I learned from this story is that you should always be happy with what you've got and that you should never let vanity over take you. It'll just get you nowhere and might even end up killing you." That was true, most people disliked people that were vain anyways.
There was one more thing, Ness had learned from this story and to her this was the most important. This may have been because she herself had to under go this lesson. "Most importantly we learn from the second brother, that sometimes you just have to let go of a loved one even if you miss them terribly." You really did. You couldn't go on living your life waiting for something to happen that clearly wouldn't. When someone was gone, they were gone. You had to learn to accept that and move on so you could be happy like they'd want you to be. Nessie's small smile turned into just a little frown as she thought of her diseased best friend Galia, it had been more than three years now. It was scary to think that, but it felt good to Ness that she knew in her heart Galia would always be there. The young Hufflepuff had managed to move on now and she was living a happy life, surely Galia would have wanted that right?

Nerida had bounced into the Book Club Meeting just in time for Professor Cerulean. Hearing the easy peacy question she smiled and answered "My favorite out of them is Babbity Rabbitty and Her Cackling Stump! It is my favorite because my dad always read it to me, I still make him sometimes. Umm something intresting about it is that it has an animagus form in it...

Nerida smile widened as Professor Cerulean said that Babbity Rabbity was her favorite just like her. Made kids vomit, who would create such a book!!?? She must have been pure evil!! Lessons in The Hopping Pot? Is the lesson the importance of helping people?" She was never good with lessons. "Of course the story surprised me! Did they surprise you?"

Nerida always liked the Fountain of Fair Fortune "Professor Bentley as Altheda. You, Professor Cerulean for Amata. Professor Williamson as Sir Luckless. I agree with Alyssa I would chose Healer Tillstrom as Asha it would be fun watching her pretend to be sick..." Whoops did she just say that to a Professor...

Nerida also hated trying to find the moral of the story which was the same as a lesson. "I think the moral of the story is that when given 'power' that you should not miss use it because it can corrupt you." what would she ask death, many things! Hearing what Alyssa asked she nodded death could have corrupted the cloak easily. "I would ask death why he offered them a gift, did he know what gifts they were going to pick?"

"I believe the moral of the story is to be careful with any power that may be handed to you or to use the old saying 'Power corrupts but absolute power corrupts absolutely'," Emmanuelle answered carefully, not exactly sure if she was correct or not. As for what question she'd ask the author if she could? Well, she'd always been more interested in history so... "I would ask the author if the brothers in the story are really the Perevells and if they were really ancestors of Harry Potter." She didn't care if that sounded lame or whatever, that was just first question she knew would pop into her head.

He thought about the question that had been asked.Once he was finished he raised his hand and said''I think the morale of the story is to be careful with what gets given to you.''He explained.
As for the next question,he didn't have a clue.He slowly put his hand up and said''I would ask the author where she thought of the people that werein the story.''Now he didn't sound stupid.
Gemma was very impressed with the answers and especially the questions the students had thrown out there. "Great answers. The questions you are wondering about are in depth and thought provoking and some are even thinking outside of the box. Many kudos to you all." she said with a smile and another drink of her muggle soda.
"Now I'm sure many, if not most, of you are familiar with the link between the Battle of Hogwarts against Voldemort and Dumbledore's copy of the Tales of Beedle the Bard. This copy has become very famous over the years and is now on display at the Ministry's Museum." she said pulling out a moving picture from her copy of the display she had taken last summer and passing it around the circle. "Dumbledore had actually written quite a few notes in his copy. One was about another story that isn't included in the printing of the book. He mentions in his commentary beside the Tale of the Three Brothers that his brother Aberforth actually preferred the story of the Grumble the Grubby Goat . So for the fun of it, can anyone speculate what that story might have been about and what the moral of that story could've been?"
OOC: This is just for fun, but make it as crazy as you would like! =0]

Alyssa remembered hearing some mention about that story. But she never had a chance to read it. But guessing from the title, she hazarded a guess,"Professors, could Grumble the Grubby Goat be something about a goat who loved to Grumble a lot because he had such grubby and dirty fur that it kept attracting flies, and he hated having to swat them away. I guess he was always unhappy with his life until he met a creature more grubbier and dirtier than him, and then he realized that is life wasn't that bad at all....."
"OR....maybe he met a frog. The frog loved flies and kept eating the ones that were bothering him. He ended up becoming great friends with the frog, because each served a purpose for the other. The goat kept attracting flies that helped feed the frog, and the frog helped him by keeping the flies from bothering him.
The moral of that story, no matter how bad and insignificant you feel about yourself, there will always be someone around, who believes that you serve a purpose in life?"
Yay, creative answers were needed. Sarah was good at that! "Maybe Grumble always was negative about life then one day he looked in the mirror and saw he was so dirty that specks of dirt had covered the part of the eye that sees the good" Put in Sarah after raising her hand.

Emmanuelle raised her eyebrow at that question. After all, how was she supposed to know what Grumble the Grubby Goat was supposed to be about? But she decided to hazard a guess anyway. "Maybe it was about a goat who eventually died because his coat was too dirty? The moral could've been to always wash your goat," she replied, joking of course. If she happened to correct, then it was easy to see why it would cut from the book. What child wants to read a story like that? Oh yeah, Dumbledor's brother...

Gemma was once again impressed by the students' responses...this was a gifted group of young ones. She glanced up at the clock and her heart skipped a beat. She had kept the students almost twenty minutes late. She stood up stretching and said, "O goodness, I'm sorry everyone....it seems I have kept you over our allotted time. Please feel free to take on of the copies of the book. The Librarian bought these for everyone that attended the lesson." she said motioning towards the pile of books, "I hope to see you all soon in either or lesson or in the great hall or just around the castle...Thanks again for coming and participating. I greatly appreciate it." she said genuinely thanking each of the students.

Alyssa was disappointed that the Book Club had to end but like all good things she had to accept that. So she put her copy of the Tales in her backpack before making her way to both Professor Cerulean and Professor Bellaire. "Thank you for a very interesting meeting. I'm just sorry that not too many people showed up. I, for one, enjoyed it thoroughly." Alyssa smiled at both Professors before she made her way out of the library.

Nerida was a bit sad that the Book Club had to come to an end but it had too. They could keep the book, that was pretty awesome. She took her copy and put it into her bag. Standing up she walked over to both professors and said "Thanks for the wonderful book club meeting. It was so much fun! She smiled a big grin as she left the library.
