An area in the middle of the library has been cleared of bookshelves and other equipment to make room for a big round circle of bean bags in all colours of the rainbow. One bean bag which is bigger than the others and bright orange is Mr Kitridge, the schools librarian sitting on with a small note book in his lap. For the afternoon meeting he is dressed in dark red robes.
In the middle of the circle of bean bags there is a stack of writing cards and a giant sized bowl full of candy. The candy has only been brought to the meeting because Mr Kitridge wants to give everyone a treat. Any food or drink found in the library at other hours/occasions will be thrown out and the student/s will be punished.
Go ahead and take a seat on a bean bag of your choosing and help yourself to a candy treat as you make yourself a name card while you wait for the meeting to start!
OCC: The meeting will begin in around 7 pm GMT tuesday night (May 8th). Don’t forget to bring your favourite childhood book! Keep chatting to a minimum! If you haven’t then please take time to familiarize yourself with the rules for the library.

"Its basically about 3 Witches and a Muggle Knight trying to get to a fountain thats supposed to bring them good luck." Ah now she's found the chapter, he stood back a bit to let her read in peace.
He turned to Alyssa who sounds to be more familiar with the tale " Alright, so you want to play Amata" the witch with a broken heart " And yeah obviously I have to play Sir Luckless." who actually doesnt have any lines in the story, but he was cool with that. When Minerva was finished he nodded when she said she can play Asha, the one who was depressed, then turned his attention to the Muggle Studies Professor when the only character left was "Altheda, the witch who had fallen into hard times, is the only one left. You ok with that Professor?"
He crossed his arms before him as Minerva spoke, pondering her questions "The Professor said to re-enact a segment of the story, I guess we can select where all the characters get to do something. How about that last part starting from Amata pulling out her memories of her old love to cast it away at the stream? Its what got them past their last challenge and sets all the other fortunes of the witches and the knight in motion."HE picked the book up again and leafed through the short story "OR if you all want to something simpler, what about when the gates leading to the fountain drew open and just grabbed Asha, who grabbed Althedea, who grabbed Amata who's robes caught Sir Luckless and dragged him in last?" they could play that for comedy.

Alyssa listened as her friends suggested which part of the book they should re-enact. She liked it when Minnie suggested adding some comedy to it. She really needed to act silly right now. So she replied.
"I agree with the both of you. The part where the gate grabs all of them would be a good part to play, and like Minnie said, we can add some comedy into. So uh! at which point do we end though? Right after the garden wall closes behind them?"Alyssa asked.

"Yes, I like that part. It could be fun to act out and their is not much of a speaking part. I think we will have to Narrate what's going on though." she looked down at the book again and skimmed over the part they wanted to do. "I think Vicker's robes will do fine as the armor, but he needs a steed." she looked around the library trying to think of something that they could use. "What if we used the broom as the steed? That might be funny to see Vickers acting like he is falling off the broom/horse." Minerva walked over and got the broom from the corner. She looked at it and wondered if it would be as funny as it would be in the muggle world since they fly on brooms here. She shrugged it off and took it back to the group showing them the broom "What do you guys think?"

Oh and his suggestion, he raised his hand to get their attentions "Sierra, who plays Death here?" because the 3 brothers plus the hooded figure equals 4 characters.
"Meh, I haven't either," Sierra said with a shrug. "Just take it easy. It's no big deal." Not unless the librarian suddenly decides to cast them in some production to do in front of the whole school. If that was the case, Sierra was out of here. That wasn't the case, though, so acting right now didn't really bother her.
What a Puffer. Jonathan was just ready to take whichever one Indiana didn't want? That was so unlike Sierra, who jumped at the opportunity to claim the brother she thought was best.
She paused at Jonathan's question. "Err," she mumbled. She hadn't really thought about that part. "We don't have a fourth group member, so I guess we could just pretend as if Death is here." What a thing to say. "We all know the story anyway, right?"

"Oh, come on, Jonathan," she said with a laugh. "Tell me you're not afraid of something like acting?" She laughed again and shook her head. It was amusing, really.
When Indiana agreed, it seemed like the idea was set. "Okay, well, The Tale of the Three Brothers, it is," she said. "I'll be Ignotus." Well, duh. He was the wisest of the three. "They're really only in one scene together, and that's the bridge scene."

Sierra's words to Jonathan did make Indy giggle a bit, and she looked at the two slytherin's with a little grin on her face. So it wouldn't be too useful if the male was scared of acting. Because well their little acting out of the play would not be fun. And come on. Jonathan was like really big. So he shouldn't be scared of anything. Big people weren't scared of stuff. Apart from maybe exams. Her brother was big (well not in height) and he was scared of his exams. That was clearly just an exception to the rule.
Oh. Sierra would want to be the one that like didn't die straight away. That was clever. Indy just grinned at her, and thought about which of the other two she wanted to play. She was little, so Jonathan had to let her have the choice. "I'll be the middle brother..." Because you know. She didn't exactly want to be the one that went around killing everyone. That was totally a more slytherin role.
Oh....death. They needed someone to be death. Interesting. Maybe a chair could pretend to be death? Oh. So they were pretending that death was here? "Maybe....a chair could just symbolise death?"

Minerva looked at her group and started feeling very nervous. She was the start of the scene they were doing and wasn't sure she knew it well enough. There wasn't really speaking part to it though. She took a break and scanned the place for their positions. "I think we need to have the garden be right here." She walked over and thought about the part she was about to do. She could do this and she would for her group.
Standing infront of the club she started "We are doing The Fountain of Fair Fortune. I will be playing Asha, Professor Cerulean is playing Altheada, Alyssa is playing Amata, and Vickers is playing Sir Luckless." She looked at her other group members and gave a quick smile.
Turning back she started The sky was rent with the first ray of sun, and a chink in the wall opened. The crowd surged forward each of them shrieking their claim for the fountain's benison. Creepers from the garden beyon snaked through the pressing mass, and twisted themselves aroudn the first witch, Asha." As Minerva stood saying the beginning of the story she threw her wrist up like someone had grabbed it. She acted as if she were fighting this invisible force pulling her ways. She grasped the wrist of the second witch." As she said this part she grabbed Professor Cerulean's robes and pulled like she had gone through the wall and let Professor Cerulean's take it from there.
Gemma followed Minerva's gaze and followed her to the 'garden' area...yes this would work great. She smiled as she said that she was playing Altheada...yes that was a lovely name. She wasn't completely familiar with the story but it sounded lovely and she made a mental note to read the whole thing in detail soon so she could better understand everything. She knew she had read it and understood the gest of it...she was the poor witch that was talented in potion making...so that meant she needed to be sad right...she put on a sad face and slumped a little bit like she figured Altheada would...
She stepped up beside Minerva and acted as though she saw the whole in the wall and then as the girl grabbed her robes she acted startled and looked out over the crowd...yes she was probably going to over dramatic but wasn't that how the best actors and actresses were...She made her eyes big with surprise and acted as though she saw vines grabbing the other woman and then as she acted like they wrapped around her she said in a great theatrical voice so everyone could hear, "who then took hold of Amata" she said as she glanced towards the next student and reached out for her arm grabbing right at the bend of the elbow and leaned towards the 'hole' in the wall.

Alyssa blinked, "Oh I'm up".
Alyssa quickly bent into a woeful and sad position. "Oh woe is me, woe is me...I should go through the gate first. My name is Amata and ailment is worse than all of yours. My heart has been broken beyond repair. My heart...my heart..." Alyssa said as she "sobbed" raised her elbow to her head.
Alyssa then stepped up beside Minerva and Professor Cerulean, and acted like she was pushing her way through the crowd, struggling crazily, teeth gritted, before letting her arm get pulled by the Professor.
She jumped sideways to make like she was getting pulled through the hole and at the same time, she yanked onto Vickers arm. "and she accidentally got hooked on to Sir Luckless armor and pulled him through"

Love's first kiss. That's what lost Elliot's attention. Ew. She crinkled her nose. "I suppose that could work..." she said, thinking how being the evil queen would be nice. Elliot was a queen, and she was evil..*snicker* so it would all work out...right?
WRONG. Apparently.
Fairies? Elliot raised an eyebrow, clearly not liking this idea. "Do I look like a fairy to you?" she asked, a little offended. However, she kept her mind open and waited for the puff Ella to say something as well.
FLORA. Elliot's character's name was FLORA. Which flower in Latin. Elliot merely shot Ella a very serious face, that clearly said, DO I LOOK LIKE A FLOWER TO YOU?!?! but she decided to roll with the punches. No need to cause dissension here. And Elliot would NEVER in real life prefer pink. Unless it was a nice lilac pink or pale pink.
"Okay. let's start practicing...over here," she gestured to a corner of the room where no one was practicing yet and led the way. She then put her hands on her hips in a very haughty sort of way and said, "Well, let's get started..."
Elliot hoped this turned out well...and not too embarrassing.
Ella couldn't help but laugh at Elliot's reaction to the fairy idea. She was quite funny, that one. Fairies weren't that bad and she didn't have to play Flora as a goody goody if she didn't want to! You know, given creative interpretation and all that.
Following her group over to the corner of the room, Ella raised her eyebrows at Elliot who seemed to want to get this over with. The second year wasn't thrilled about the task either but she was going to make the best of it. "Alright, well in this scene the three fairies are preparing a party for Briar Rose, who is actually Princess Aurora, on her sixteenth birthday and as they prepare, a fight breaks out between Merryweather and Flora...that's you, Elliot. So Fauna is baking, Merryweather is cleaning, and Flora is making the dress...all with their wands" And hopefully Elliot would be a little more intrigued after hearing the next bit. "So Flora is kind of the leader of the group, Fauna is the peacekeeper, and Merryweather is the youngest. Flora and Merryweather don't agree on the dress color for Briar Rose so they battle with their wands." With this, Ella pulled off her robes and then the jumper she had on, placing it to the side. Now in her tee-shirt, she replaced the robes on her body and held up the jumper. "This will do for the dress."
After a minute, she put her hands on her hips. "I'll introduce the performance and explain the background if you want...and anyone else have any ideas?"

Take it easy? Jonathan looked at Sierra. Oh she can read his mind and it's scary good. Which is really cool because not many people can read Jonathan's poker faces but Sierra seems to translate them. Jonathan once again nodded. Yeah, there shouldn't be a reason to fret about it. It's not like this is such a big thing... it's a book club thing. Which reminds him, why are they acting when they could be discussing and reading? Really... He thought coming here would be like that.
Indy seems to take interest with the middle brother. Fine, "Guess I'm playing the oldest" he said as he closed the book and placed it on the table next to where he was standing. Sierra can play the guy that hid from Death and Indy can play the psycho brother while he plays the arrogant one. At least now that was done.
People do know about the Tales of the three Brothers and Indy did suggest a chair to play as Death. Or... since they're all magical people anyway "We can just used a levitation spell so that a floating something could be Death" wait, does that make sense? Jonathan was clearly off right now. He just stood there and stared at the two of them. Yeah, they can just go with Sierra's idea about pretending Death to be there.

Elliot listened carefully, and found that this Flora character seemed...well, doable. For Elliot. So she pulled out her wand and smirked. "The leader, you say? I'm a born leader..." was all she replied, and she listened to the rest. Very...interesting.
"Okay, you introduce it, Ella. Now, let's practice. We need to be the best!" she cried, a keen determination in those blue eyes.
She took the jumper and set it down on a desk. She began to prod the jumper with her wand, looking intensely at the jumper. "I think pink would be a BEAUTIFUL color on dear, dear, Rose, don't you all think? Yes yes, pink it shall BE!" she said in a rather sing song voice, which was surprising even to Elliot. She wanted to laugh so badly but she DIDN'T. SCORE.
She glanced at Ella and Nerida, wondering what to do to next...heeheee.

She mused as Jonathon went on about being the oldest. "Well...you are the oldest." Seeing as he was a seventh year. Although Indy didn't really know how she knew these details, seeing as this was the first time she was meeting the guy. Indiana was totally not a stalker. Not at all. She'd been scared of Slytherins last year, so there was no way she had been stalking him. At all. She was just about okay with working with them now. So. That was that dealt with.
Oh. Sierra was moving chairs around now. Err okay. That kind of made sense. But how would they like know the difference off the chairs. Indy mused for a moment, before throwing her cardigan onto the chair that was death. "Just so you know...we can tell the difference?" Because. When they got all acting they might forget. And that would not been good.

Indy seems to find it amusing but Sierra just seems to be so serious. Now that he's thinking about it... Is this how people saw Jonathan too? One that is too serious and had that plain blank expression most of the time. Anyways, this is no time to think about that. They need to get things done before the librarian halts them and start the play in front of everyone else. Then out of the blue, Indy just mentioned about him being the oldest. Yes, apparently in this group he is the oldest. He just smiled at her.
PROPS.
Okay. So technically the excerpt that they are going to do had the least amount of props really. One of which is the bridge, which Sierra has already suggested that the bridge will be the chair. Jonathan nodded, people would still know what they meant. Everyone knows this story. "Yeah, we can use the chairs for the bridge" agreeing to the suggestion. There was barely stuffs in this library to use other than the tables, chairs, shelves and books.
Now that is already covered, they can now discuss the easier props which is the wand, the stone and the cloak. "We have wands already. Does anyone have a stone or a cloak?" Since he's the oldest brother he can just pretend the wand he is using is the 'Elder Wand'.

Good, so Elliot wasn't completely against Flora now. That was certainly a good thing. They would all have to a bit flexible if they were going to do well.
Ella smirked as Elliot began acting as Flora. She was actually pretty surprised by the pleasant voice that came out of her mouth. Wow. So she could act after all! Taking out her own wand, Ella began to play Merryweather, pretending to clean the corner where they were practicing. "My, my, this house is a mess." She said cheerfully, a hint of disgust in her voice. "I dare say we have lots of cleaning to do before Briar-Wait, Flora did you say PINK? But I very clearly thought we had agreed on BLUE..." And Ella as Merryweather stepped towards Elliot and glanced down at the jumper, frowning. "Yes BLUE is certainly the better choice."

It wasn't in a mean way or anything, but Ella hadn't quite thought of that problem. Somehow she was factoring in the dwarfs too. No matter, though! Ella liked Nerida's idea as well, especially because she really liked Sleeping Beauty. "Okay, we can do sleeping beauty. I'll be Merryweather, she's the youngest fairy and I'm the youngest so it makes sense I guess." At this, she smiled, remembering Elliot's preference for an evil character. "Elliot, you can be Flora...she isn't evil or anything but her and Merryweather do have a fight over the color of the gown they want to make. Flora wants pink and Merryweather wants blue!" If everyone agreed with this, they could start to practice!

Nerida giggled at Elliot's reaction and had to control herself not to burst out laughing at the look Elliot shot over at Ella, that was very funny. She walked over to where Elliot gestured and smiled, time to start practicing. She laughed at Elliot once more, and smiled at them both. She took a deep breath and took out her wand, ready to began acting... She took off her robes and gestured for Ella's robe and said This can be the makeship cake for now. Stalking the robes on top of eachother they actually looked like a cake when together. She nodded at Ella she had such wonderful ideas. As Ella and Elliot began acting like Flora and Merryweather, she got into Fauna peace keeper, and backing currently. She hummed to herself waiting until she had to get into Flora and Merryweather's fight, as she flipped her wand and the cake ingrediants began to mix themselves...

Elliot found herself giggling, as if she were really Flora, and said, "My dear, don't be silly, blue is a masculine color..." she said, attempting to merely sound a bit annoyed. Heehee. Acting was fun!
"Pink is such a pretty color, so girly...it will bring out her lovely locks, Merryweather...come one, come one, I am the oldest..." and she turned to glare at Ella/Merryweather and said in a very mean voice, "I know BEST!" Elliot wanted to burst into laughter but didn't...thank Merlin, really.

Sierra was lost in her thoughts about how they were going to pull this off. Did everyone even know the lines? Or how the story went? Indiana sort of seemed Muggle, or at least half-blood. Did she know what to do? She seemed to, at least. Sierra looked up when a cardigan flying through the air caught her attention. She followed it with her eyes until it landed on the chair. "Makes sense," she said with a shrug. "He was supposedly a hooded figure."
"Okay, so Indiana's cardigan is Death," she pointed out, "and the other chair is the point across the bridge that we're trying to get to." She shrugged when Jonathan asked about a wand, stone, and cloak. "Well, we have her cardigan, and..." She pulled a knut out her pocket. "I guess we can pretend this is the stone." She pointed at Jonathan's wand. "You can just pretend your wand is the wand."
Narumi smiled and said Cute, I brought a japanese book my mom read to me.. Anyhow... She looked up at the Librarian and before she could even answer Sarassi's question, which she had gotten right... She listened to all of her ideas before squeeling Yes yes! Yes!Yes Yes Yes AND OH MY YES A MILLION TIMES YES TO THAT ONE!! Sarassi would have to use her mind to figure out which one she said yes to, Sarassi was a claw afterall...
Sarassi smiled and said Okay okay! Okay! Mother Knows Best it is... She twirled her skirt and said Would you like to be the evil mom? Ill be Rapunzel! This would be fun looking around she said Looks like everyones about started would you like to start practicing if this is fine with you?
