It was a bright and beautiful morning in which the dueling arena was opened right on time for all the sleepy or nervous students to arrive for their final. Not much has changed from how it looked for their lessons during the year. Yet the purple mats and small tables used for desks were no where to be seen. The metal sculptures used throughout the year were stationed around the sides and back of the room, motionless, in case they were needed to be used. Professor Romanos and the rest of the students will be sitting on the stands, waiting for the next presentation to begin or going over their own finals in their heads. If necessary, feel free to picture the audience wearing goofy hats or funky clothes to help the nerves. It's not the end of the world after all.
OOC: Only those who are doing the acting final should post here. Remember to also sign up for the final if you haven't already. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask via PM. This thread will be closed July 28th @ 11pm EST [4am GMT].
Blue sucked in a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves.
She brushed down her costume, the fabric of her dress feeling super weird under her fingers. Stella'd charmed it to look like it was smoking. She BEAMed at her partner and hopped, 'cause, ya know, hinkypunks only had one leg, into the middle of the arena and smiled at the Professor.
"MORNING."
Politeness was important, ya know!
"Stella and I are gonna be preforming a meeting between a lost girl called Ariana and a mean!hinkypunk. I'm gonna be the hinkypunk and Stella's Ariana. Stella's just gonna make it darkah in here so that it looks authentic and stuff!" Phew. Big word.
With another BEAM at the audience she hopped into a corner, occasionally having to switch legs, and flail a bit, clutching her lantern tight in her fist.
When she got into a corner she switched on her lantern, the tiny flame flickering, and waved it a bit to try and catch Ariana's attention.

Somehow it seemed like the time had gone awfully fast between the last planning session between herself and Blue and the actual final. Therefore, the actual performance aspect, although Stella wasn't entirely nervous about that. This was no different from any of the other plays she'd acted in, besides the fact it wasn't written by Shakespeare or some other famous playwright. It was written by herself and Blue, although she'd honestly added a lot of the backstory to their act. The actual information about hinkypunks was important, of course, but setting up her motivation was just as important. And setting up her character. The demonstration two lessons ago had involved fictional character names, so she'd decided theirs did too. Not to mention a slightly hyperactive 'hinkypunk', but at least she'd gotten Blue's costume to look smoky without accidentally lighting it on fire. All that NEWT studying had paid off.
She'd let Blue take care of the introductions, as well. Obviously as the hinkypunk, the firstie wasn't exactly going to have many lines, so letting her speak was a good thing. It meant they had actually worked as a pair, and she hadn't taken all the lines for herself. The only thing they hadn't particularly managed was a completely convincing forest, but she didn't think Professor Bentley would have wanted them to try to transport half the trees from the garden inside. The darkness would have to suffice. She'd gotten a few herbs, though, for her basket. Another part of her character backstory, and she'd stepped forward as Blue had finished speaking, pulling her wand out of the basket she was carrying long enough to start dimming the lights. Not too much, though, because she had something to say first. Clearing her throat softly, she began. "Ariana had always known that there were creatures in the forest between her home and her great-aunt's house, but she'd had to make the journey anyhow one morning. Her baby brother was ill, and the only one who had the herbs," and she raised her arm with the basket on it slightly, "that could cure him was her great-aunt. Nobody else could make the journey, so it fell to her, newly graduated from Hogwarts, to go. Of course, the request had turned into a full visit, and it had been nearing dusk by the time she'd been able to head home." At that point she started walking, slowly, toward the direction Blue had disappeared in, flicking her wand again to darken the room just the slightest bit more, to simulate dusk.
Shortly, she paused again. "Not long after she'd entered the forest, she found it getting even darker. Not to mention somehow she'd made a wrong turn and ended up off the main pathway..." And she then looked around, as if she was searching for something.

"The hinkpunk sees a lost girl, the perfect victim. So, it begins to make it's way over, to lure her even furtha away from the path." Blue's stage whisper was loud enough for the Professor to hear...hopefully anyway.
Blue hopped over to Ariana, the 'smoke' on her dress catching the light.
"Now," She said in her stage whisper. "I'm trying to take Ariana to the bog where she'll probably die." MEAN HINKAAAAAAYPUNK. Okay, back to professional actress mode. The flame in her lantern flickered and startled the eleven-year-old ('IT'S GONNA BURN MEH!!!') When it didn't, she started the waved it a bit again, still trying to catch Ariana's attention with the promise of warmth.
She hopped backwards, putting her left foot out behind her just in time to catch her from loosing her balance.

Time to start leading Ariana to ze bog.
Still slowly wandering the 'stage', moving in tiny steps just so she didn't move too far, Stella continued playing the part of Ariana. "Where am I?," she murmured softly, as if talking to herself while trying to find her way back to the pathway that was quickly disappearing in the darkness and flicking her wand once again to cast Lumos. As one would do if they were lost in the growing darkness in the woods. Either way, even through her acting, she heard Blue start to move again and explain the next part of their act. The sneakiness of the hinkypunk and the way it lured its victims. All she had to do was work off of what her partner was establishing, and she turned her head toward the waving lantern almost on cue.
"Ariana knew that the inn just on the edge of her town always turned a light on after dark to help weary travelers find their way, and upon seeing the flickering light, that was her first guess. That somehow she'd managed to find her path again and was almost home, and she sped up slightly in excitement," she narrated, adjusting the basket over her arm as she made her steps just the tiniest bit faster. Following the smoky figure of Blue with the lantern, but acting like she was not quite seeing anything but the light and the promise of safety. "However," she continued, slowing her pace again, "Ariana quickly realized that the light was moving. At least, she wasn't getting any closer to it, as would have happened if it was a stationary lamp on the outside of the inn, and she felt her stride slowing again as she'd come to that realization. Maybe she wasn't on her way toward safety and home, but further into the dangers of the woods."

Blue eyed "Ariana" stopping and froze herself. Time to try her first spell. She slid the lantern to the crook of her arm while she fidgetted in her pocket for her wand. She tugged it out and held the lantern properly, flicking the switch to turn off the flame.
Okay, okay. "Now the hinkypunk has lead her far enough into the bog that it feels like it's time to make it's first attack." What was the spell again? Lumos? "I'm gonna use the 'lumos' spell instead of castin' fireballs." 'Cause ya know...she was a firstie and would probably KILL 'em all. 'Lumos.' When the tip of her light lit up, she started to make circles very quickly, giving the illusion of a ball. Then, she thrust her hand out to 'throw' it.

AWESOME RIGHT?
BESTEST ACTRESS EVAAAAH RIGHT HERE PEOPLLLLE.
Stella had known what was coming, but even so, she'd been surprised that it had happened exactly how it had. The idea of simulating fireballs had been Blue's idea all along, but that hadn't meant it would have been as convincing as it actually was in the dark room. Either way, it really wasn't hard to continue to act the part of the confused and lost Ariana, slowly discovering that her new hypothesis that the light hadn't been safety was true. And she stopped dead where she was, watching the 'fireball' come towards her as likely the character would have in the situation. "As the hinkypunk decided to stop leading her onward and broadenits attack, Ariana stopped. This was definitely not the safety of the inn. This was the exact opposite, and she quickly figured out that what she was up against was a hungry hinkypunk," she narrated, taking her wand out again as the fictional Ariana would have done, holding it at the ready.
"However, before she can utilize the knowledge of how to defeat the creature, she has to avoid getting hit by the fireballs being thrown at her," she continued, trying to silently send Blue a signal to 'throw' another one toward her. At least the light wouldn't actuallly hurt her if it hit, but she still continued the act. "Therefore, the first thing Ariana had to do was neutralize those, and the easiest method of doing that was a Shield charm. Especially when she was as disoriented as she was." And she flicked her wand. "Protego!" At least the shield would hold off the pretend fireballs, as if it was really necessary. "The shield also gives Ariana the chance to try and remember what spells are needed to get her out of the situation for good. But she knows it won't last."

Oh. Okay.
Moar fake fireballs? Blue nodded at Stella and did the motion again. When Stella spelled (YES. It was a word, thankya very much!) her shield, Blue whispered, "Nox." And extinguished her little 'fireball'. "Ariana has blocked the fireballs with her shield and the hinkypunk now knows it is not dealing wif a regular lost traveller...but a witch! It's time to go for the main attack...go almost completely smokeh and...um...charge."
With her wand she tapped her dress and it went smokier (THANK YOU STELLA!!!). She hopped towards Stella, one foot in the air... hinkaypunk style.

Stella gave Blue the tiniest of nods when she showed she'd understood the earlier look. Besides, she imagined that actual hinkypunks wouldn't limit themselves to just one fireball attack. They were dark creatures after all, so they'd want to hurt their victims as much as possible while luring them into the bog to die. At least Ariana wasn't at risk of being eaten or anything, although she realized there was still the bog aspect to address. Therefore, once Blue had gone into the explanation of the next part of their act, she lifted a foot slowly as if she'd realized it was stuck to the ground. If only she could figure out how to turn the ground into a bog without risking the change being permanent. That would have made it so much more convincing, but she could still pretend. That was something she was good at.
She was still lifting her feet incrementally, as if testing the ground underneath herself and looking down when the hopping sound clued her in that Blue the hinkypunk was attacking. "Hearing a noise after she realized that she was close to being stuck in a bog, Ariana looked up to see that the fireballs had stopped and a smoky figure was hopping toward her, not as affected by their surroundings as she was. At least, it didn't seem to be sinking into the muddy ground. At that point she knew it was in fact a Hinkypunk, and she determined that she wasn't going to fall victim to it," she narrated. "And she determined that she was going to escape the fate that was laid out before her. All she had to do was remember how to defeat the hinkypunk now attacking her, and a spell came to mind." She raised her wand, and replicating the wand movement, cast "Lumos Duo!"

Narumi took in a deep breath, she had never acted before. What if she messed everything up!
She brushed down her costume. She was wearing all black which was a thing Narumi never did. She grinned over at her two special partners, Nerida and Sarassi. As she entered she gave a smile to the Professor before saying "Good morning!"
"Nerida, Sarassi and I are gonna be preforming a meeting between a young girl called Rose, a evil lake witch and lastly the Kappa! I'm gonna be the evil lake witch, Nerida is Rose, and Sarassi is the kappa." Phew. She was so nervous!!
With another glance at her team and than at the audience she walked over to the stool they had placed on the stage earlier in front of the little house background. It had a 'lake' nearby as well but really it was a tub with grass and twigs and leaves all over it.
When she reached her stool she sat down and gave a nod towards Nerida.

When Stella said, Lumos Duo, Blue made a frowny-faaaace. What was she supposed to do again? Oh yeeeah! Freeze. The spell hadn't even hit her. Stella was aiming just beside her and besides, she was wearing protective gear! She stopped and flailed a bit because of the whole one-legged thing and fell over. OOPSIEDAISIE. She jumped up, pursing her lips to stop from giggling. "Because of the spell 'Lumos Duo' the hinkypunk is now solid and frozen in spot."
She blinked against the light and went back to narrating. "There ain't nuffin the hinkypink can do but wait for the witch to attack again. Next time it should be more careful bout who it tries to lead astray..."

Stella's eyes widened as it seemed Blue hadn't quite remembered what was supposed to happen when she'd cast Lumos Duo. Of course, there was always the possibility the 'hinkypunk' would make her have to recast before the spell took effect, but she wasn't going to jump to that conclusion just yet. She figured Ariana would have waited to see if her spell had worked anyway, so she tried to stay in character. Until Blue literally fell over, and she wondered if they were going to have to stop the act. If Blue got hurt. It didn't seem that way, as her partner had hopped back up quickly and went into her narration again. Alright. The show must go on, she thought, continuing to hold the spell anyway, at least until the 'freezing' was complete.
While she waited, she picked up her feet one more time and moved to the side slightly. Keeping her wand on the 'hinkypunk' as she hypothetically found solid ground. "Remembering Lumos Duo was only the first part," she said, going back to her narration. It was an odd thing not really having lines, but she didn't see Ariana talking to herself. Talking to the hinkypunk was out too, so lines would have been silly. "She not only had to escape the hinkypunk, but she also had to find her way back from the bog. Finding a piece of solid ground helped," and she gestured toward her feet, no longer acting like she was getting stuck in the ground, "but she still had to defeat the creature. Which meant another spell, and this one wouldn't work the first time around." I'm sorry Blue, she thought, pointing her wand back at her partner. This spell probably couldn't be aimed past the firstie, but she could try to make it weaker than normal. "Flipendo!," she cast. One out of at least three.

When she reached her stool she sat down and gave a nod towards Nerida.
Nerida followed Narumi and Sarassi into the place where they would be conducting the stage. She was so nervous, she had been on stage many times for ballet but never had she done it for a grade!
Just as Narumi did she turned towards the Professor and said "Good morning," She fidgeted with the her jacket as Narumi explained to the audience what they would be doing and who was who. Nerida had to wear a blonde wig for the act which she didn't understand why she couldn't just be her normal brunette self but Narumi and Sarassi both agreed she should be blonde.
Not that Nerida could complain she was liking the blonde. She gave a glance over at her sister as Narumi said Sarassi was the kappa. Nerida was still feeling a bit bad that she would have to cast spells at her sister, maybe if it was her brothers she would not be feeling so bad but this was her twin sister. She took a deep breath as she saw Narumi take position and than Sarassi waddle off over to the tub in her kappa costume.
She was quite proud with their tub it ended up looking like a tub, they had to have the kappa in water. Sarassi had made a good decision in having Narumi being the evil witch to since the Kappa was commonly found in Japan and Narumi was Japanese. She itched her head one last time since the wig was itchy...No one else had to wear a wig!
As soon as Narumi was in position and the nod was given Nerida to began. Nerida turned to the audience and the Professor and narrated "Since the Kappa is commonly found in Japan. This will take place in Japan," which would make more sense if Nerida was wearing a black wig. "Roses mother has suddenly became sick and its up to Nerida to find the witch who posses the herbs that can heal her mother but the evil witch always has a price." With this Nerida took out her wand and made it darker since it was night time.
Nerida stopped narrating and began walking slowly and put her wand hid her wand inside a bag that she had gotten from Narumi. It was a traditional Japanese bag so it worked good with their act. As she reached Narumi she slowly asked "Are you the witch who posses the herbs?" Nerida looked around her face showing fear.
When the last group finished their act Kennedy stood up, a duffle bag in hand. He nodded at Sierra to follow him with a slight grin on his face. He was nervous, but was comforted by last term's act at the BOOfire where he acted at Salazar Slythering. Still, he kept his eyes away from the audience.
Once on stage, Kennedy and Sierra took the stuff out of the bad and decorated the area close to something that resembled Hogsmeade....card board Hogsmeade.
When it was all set, Kennedy hid something behind a curtain. They would be needing that in a bit, hehe. Looking over at Sierra he gave an 'are you ready' nod and turned toward the audience. "Hello everyone. Our acting final will be about the nasty creature; the dementor," he said, trying to sound spooky...and still not looking directly at his classmates' eyes.
Kennedy walked off to the side where he would narrate the story while Sierra stood at the center of he stage. "We begin our story at the gates of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where a young witch by the name of Sierra Greingoth has decided to ditch the Hogwarts Express and return home walking." Pause. "You see, she lives just minutes away in the small village of Hogsmeade." He looked up, giving Sierra the signal to act as if she walking toward her village. "As Sierra walked down the road, the sun was covered by big gray clouds and a cold breeze picked up, strange noises coming from her surroundings. Suddenly, she wished she had taken the Hogwarts Express." Ooooh!

Out on the stage, Sierra quickly began to help Kennedy set up, all the while trying to pretend as if she didn't want to just crawl in a hole in the wall and disappear. She hated getting in front of the class and doing an act. She was no actress. She thought this was dumb, and had it not been for the fact that she had one very hot partner, she'd have done her best to at least switch to the speech.
Once the cardboard Hogsmeade was all set up, Sierra moved to take her place at the mock Hogwarts gate they'd set up. Catching Kennedy's look, she nodded back, yet swallowed hard at the same time. They'd gone over this hundreds of times it seemed, but now that they were right here, doing it for real, she just wanted it to be over. She closed her eyes and reviewed things as she listened to Kennedy talk.
He sounded so calm and confident, which made her smile as she remembered the feel of his hand holding hers. Oh, wait...she wasn't supposed to be daydreaming about her acting partner. Not right now, at least. Finally, on cue, she began walking away from the gates and toward the cardboard Hogsmeade. When the sky turned gray and the temperature turned colder, she paused in her step and looked up, trying to figure out the reason for the sudden change.
She passed Kennedy a sudden, startled expression. She was going to get stage fright soon...

Kennedy briefly caught Sierra's eyes and mouthed, you're doing fine, and continued with the script. "As the Slytherin girl kept a steady pace down the very familiar path she didn't notice a dark shadow that loomed several feet away from her." Kennedy then tugged at one of the strings he had attached to himself to control their fake-dementor, causing the hooded figure to loom next to their cardboard Hogsmeade. "Out of nowhere, Sierra felt the temperature drop, dramatically, causing her to shiver. And the sudden feeling of sadness took over." Cue shivering and being sad. "She sped up her pace when..."
He looked up at the audience from his place, his eyebrows rising up into his forehead. "A dark, hooded figure zoomed from out of nowhere!" He sent another nod at Sierra. Time to be afraid. "Standing in front of Sierra a ten foot tall Dementor hovered above the ground. It's grotesque, gray fingers visible from under it's sleeves," he said, lowly and slowly to inflict effect. BOooOO!
Kennedy then used the strings attached to him to control their dementor like a puppet, along with the hovering charm. He pulled on a specific string, making the dementor to loom in front of Sierra.
Kennedy paused, waiting for Sierra to react to the "dementor".

Sierra was still looking at Kennedy out of the corner of her eyes when he mouthed a few words to her. At that, she reminded herself to breath and closed her eyes and she inhaled and exhaled. Breathe, Sierra. This'll all be over soon. She nodded then jumped immediately back into character.
Sierra immediately took in the sight of the darkened skies, and she wrapped her arms across her chest as if a winter chill had suddenly set in. She was still trying to figure out what was going on. It was nearly summer break, and five seconds ago, it'd be a warm, sunny day.
Darkened skies...chilly air... She'd just been so happy, too. She was going home to spend some much anticipated time with her mom and dad, but now...she just felt like her whole day had been ruined. She couldn't help but think about everything that got wrong for her. To show this, she turned toward the audience and gave her best saddened expression. Maybe she just needed to get home. Then she could curl up in her warm bed and get rid of this chill. Realizing this, she quickened her pace, eyeing her home street in the distance.
...and then she took notice of those boney fingers and that hooded cloak. Sierra grew wide-eyed and stumbled backward, nearly tripping over in the process. "I...I..." She wasn't sure what she was trying to say. Words became lost in her as she began to stumble around, really feeling the effects of the dementor.

Nice, Sierra was doing a great job at acting her part. And Kennedy had lost any of the nervousness he had been feeling at first. He figured if he kept a cool demeanor it'd keep his partner from worrying too much.
After taking in her reaction, Kennedy glanced back down at his script. "Fear grasped at Sierra as she tried to think of something to do, but the dementor's rattling breath kept her frozen on spot." While saying this, Kennedy shook the wire tied to the dementor to make it seem as if it was getting closer.
"Not being one to be easily defeated, Sierra whipped out her wand and pointed it at the dark creature with a shaky hand," he said, looking up to see how she was doing. "Knowing well that she was too young to perform a proper patronus - because the way to ward off a dementor is by using the Patronus Charm..." he added, in case some of their audience didn't know. "...she thought quickly on her toes and thought of another way to defend herself." Another nod. "Sierra used the Incarcerous spell in hopes, if effective, that'd slow the dementor down enough for her to get help."
He shook the line once more, making the dementor shake, and prepared it for Sierra's spell.
Glenn clutches at the shark tooth necklace she has on, she thought it made her outfit look older. More old and witchy. She gives a slight nod to the Professor as she enters the classroom. Her costume is strange, it's a dress but it also has robes. Well - at least the skirt bit goes right down to the ground, unlike the horrible skirts and dresses her mothers says she should wear. Ugh. At least this dress thing isn't girly, it's black. Not pink... NEVER pink or frills, they are equally as horrible.
She picked up their backdrop that they had painted together, hanging it up so the rather basic painted trees showed, one of the trees had a large hollow in the middle, like a big gaping wound. It was brilliant!
She walks behind where she put up the backdrop, pacing as she calms herself down. Breathe in, breathe out.
It doesn't seem to work so she walks out from behind the backdrop anyway. "Hi." She says, remembering she needed her old witch hat on, she plonks it on top of her head. She isn't great at charming or transfiguring, but she'd managed to make her curls lie straight and her hair grow till they reached her waist. There was also this bow thing her hair had at the back. Not bad work. "I'm Glenn, and I'll be playing Constance the witch and Sophie, the bad boggart!" She nodded once walked over behind the backdrop and came out around the other side, "Oh Merlin! I fell off my broom!" She puts a hand to her head in the imitation of a bumped head. She winces loudly. "Ouch! I must have bumped my head when I fell! I wonder where my broommates have gone. Oh no! I'm lost!" She walks along a bit, "I hope there's no bad DARK creatures around here!" Hint hint.
Ooooooooooooo!!! This was going to be SO exciting!!! Sophie couldn't wait for their turn! She bounced up and down while she waited untiiilll...
IT WAS NOW!!! EEEEEEEP!!
The young badger rushed to help Glenn get everything set, placing some cardboard trees around, in front of the backdrop thing. She had to make the trees float using magic, since her loooong, loooooooooong, loooooooooooooong black cloak made it difficult for her to even walk properly. That didn't make Sophie beam less, though. She was SO excited for this act thing! WOOP!
After double checking to see if everything was where it was supposed to be, Sophie stood beside Glenn while the older girl introduced their act. The biggest grin was spread across her face and if one looked closely, they could see Sophie shaking her legs like a little child. MEEP! She almost couldn't keep it together. THIS WAS GOING TO BE SO FUN!!
Nodding at Glenn, Sophie ran - with difficulty - to hide behind the backdrop. She pulled the cloak's hood over her head and waited.
Her partner was now going on about falling off her broom and whatnot. This meant she should start with the sound effects now! Though... they had read about boggarts and NO ONE KNEW what they looked like and/or sounded like, which made their work REALLY hard. Anyway, they have it all figured out by now. HOODED BEAM! Sophie, who was still behind the backdrop, used her wand and made a light wind blow around the stage. Light, but in a way that it could be HEARD and SEEN as it shook the fake trees. Teehee!
Anytime nooooooooooooooowwwwwww.............

Sarassi so far hated her costume she had to wear a bowl on her head! She gave a wave at the audience as Narumi introduced her. She was the first to get into position, inside the 'lake' where the Kappa belonged. Once inside she plucked at her fire proof clothes since Incendio was one of the spells they thought it was best. Luckily for her hair and head, Narumi and Nerida had found a fire proof cap and mask. Seeing Narumi nod Sarassi realized the show was starting. As Nerida began to walk Sarassi splashed a bit and watched her movements. Just watching her for now, but that evil witch always pulls through.
As Nerida said her first line Sarassi made more splashing and made the brim of her bowl visible to the audience. She didn't really know what kaapas were supposed to act.Though the turtle shell on her back was killing her. Sure it was made out of paper mache and it looked really good just like a turtle shell should be but it was cutting into her hips. Sigh nothing she could do about it now.

Once Nerida had gotten the approval to go she had done so. Narumi grinned an evil grin though not one of her normal smiles when she saw Nerida, this time she was an evil witch and Nerida was her prey!
Narumi looked up at the blonde Nerida before saying "Yes, I am. What is it you need?" She flicked open the box next to her pulling out bottles and bags full of remedies and herbs. Though they were really just grass and twigs and water and other liquids. The evil witch looked up at Nerida and stroked her blonde braid before saying "You do know everything comes with a price, right?" Once again an evil smile formed on her lips. She would once again have to trick awful girls and it was all thanks to the kappa.

Seeing Narumi's grin her eyes widened. Just to play on the fact that the Rose character was majorily scared of the evil witch. And Sarassi's splashing just made her even more scared. In fact she evil had her start shaking a bit. Maybe it was because she was cold...Or maybe it was because she was scared. It would keep the audience guessing.
Her eyes flickered scaredly over to where Sarassi was and than back quickly to the evil witch. Before Nerida could answer Narumi's evil question. Narumi had touched her hair. Nerida jumped back whipping her braid behind her. "Yes, my mother she is ill. She needs medicine. I ask for your help. I understand that everything comes with a price and I don't care. My mother needs help.
She licked her lips and asked "Will you help me? I have no money and we have nothing to give to you?" More splashing came from the lake and a look a fear became onto Nerida's face. Anytime now...She had dragged out the scene already a bit....She gave a glance towards the lake as more splashing could be heard. Goodness enough splashing get on with the narratating!!

Sarassi had been so caught up with splashing that she had not realized that Nerida had already said she didn't care about the price. Dang it. Still splashing a bit she turned so her mouth was facing the cieling. "The young girl does not know what she has just done. For the evil witches' price is always bad. She usally never keeps them alive. And usually its not the witch who gets rid of the people who come to ask her for help its the monster that lives in the lake!" And who was playing the monster. Yeap that was right Sarassi was playing the monster...Who would get beaten by Nerida but still...
As she waited for Narumi and Nerida to continue on the act. Sarassi added a bit more water and pointed her wand out of the lake so it would seem like the monster was making water go out of the lake making it push more outwards. She pointed her wand at one of the branches, making sure no one in the audience could see what she was doing plus the good thing about learning a spell really hard and really good was you could say in silent and thats just what Sarassi was doing.

Narumi's grin got more eviller just as Nerida started to shake. Good she was playing on the scared part and Sarassi's splashing was perfect! A cackle escaped Narumi's lips as Nerida jumped back. Perfect! Just as she thought she would do. Aw poor mommy, she needs medicine now isnt that great!! Well not for the mom or Nerida, but for the evil witch that is just perfect!!
Narumi stood and smiled but this smile was just the same as the others, evil and fake. This was no reason she should be smiling except for the fact that it just played being evil so much better. "Of course child. I shall help you. But the price. Hmm now what do I want." Hmm...Where was Sarassi???She was supposed to do the narration she didnt get many lines so they had given that job to her. She would be taking over after Nerida got down and dirty with the kappa, though.
Sigh could they count on Sarassi for anything. There she was finally speaking. She waited for Sarassi to finish before she continued talking to Nerida about the price. "The price my dear girl. Is simple. Cross the lake, but first tell me your name. Cross the lake and collect a sakura from the cherry blossom tree." Pointing to the fake cherry blossom tree they had drew at the end of the lake it had one single real sakura flower on it the others were all fake! "Just one flower...I do not need money or anything. I just long for that flower. My body it prevents me from getting it."
