OOC: If your character is ill or injured, please post in the check in area first.

Once you've notified Healer Tillstorm that you are in the Hospital Wing and in need of medical attention, you will be escorted into the Waiting Room. There is only one Healer, but no need to worry your pretty head, everyone will receive the proper amount of attention.

Take a seat and relax - no need to aggravate your condition - the Healer will see you soon.

OOC: Please keep in mind that there may be many people in the hospital wing at the same time. Inevitably, time lines overlap, and I will try my best to get to you as soon as I possibly can. Also, Let's keep the chatting to a minimum.

Sammy felt kinda bad for making the kid write his own check in, but she knew NOTHING about the kid. Only that he was throwing up candy and she couldn't really ask him anything because he was throwing up but she lead him over to the waiting area anyway. Looking around she could remember the first time she'd been here, at the very end of her first year with a broken arm and a small cut in her forehead. Not the best memories, she had refused to let them use magic and instead asked for them to just do it the muggle way instead so she'd had a plaster on her arm for most of the summer which sucked.

Well now she knew the kid's name was Oakey ... unusual name. And that he was a third year. SO that was some information, which was better than none at all. Even though she knew the kid could barely talk she said "I'm Sammy by the way, sixth year" and she was obviously in Hufflepuff because they had come form the common room. DUH!

Oa-Oakey was all he could say before he turned his attention back to the chair/bucket, and let some more candy fall from his mouth into it. He looked into the bucket. If he didn't know where this candy came from, this would probably be the most beautiful sight. A bucket full of candy, who wouldn't want that?

Sammy just kind of nodded, she thought about patting the kid Oakey on the head but that was reserved for people she knew really well like Amy, Everett or Katie. As he threw up some more candy she screwed her nose up, usually the sight of candy made her want to drool but knowing where this candy came from made her want to get a bucket herself "If I didn't know where that candy was coming from I'd probably ask if I could have some" she admitted, yup foodoholic. That's what Sammy was.

She knew exactly what he was thinking. This entire situation was not fair to Oakey at all. His entire outlook on candy was ruined now. He tried to laugh at Sammy's quip about the candy, but all that came from his mouth was...you guessed it, more candy. Hey, look a lollypop!

Sophie rushed through the door and stopped when she saw all of the hospital stuff around her. She had never been to a hospital area before. It made her feel kind of weird out. She walked up to where Oakey was and gave Sammy a little smile. She didn't think she knew the girl.
"Oakey, Nate asked be to give you this." she held out a little parchment; teardrops in the middle of the page.

"Dear Oakey,
I am sorry for what happened. My sister taught me that spell, and I thought I could help. I just guess I didn't know what I was doing. It's ok if your mad at me. If I were you I'd be mad too.

Oakey read the note, and was able to put a smile on his face. He knew The kid was only trying to help. He didn't want him...Nate to feel sad made or any kind of negative emotion. He spewed some more candy into the chair/bucket.

He reached into his pocket and pulled out a self-writing quill which proceeded to transcribe on the back of Nate's Note.

SPOILER!!: back of Nate's Note

Dear, Nate
It's okay, really. In a few days we'll look back at this little incident and laugh about it.

He handed Sophie the note back and waved her off as he turned his attention back to the chair/bucket.

Sophie just watched as Oakey wrote and vomited some more. "Eek!" Even though it was candy, it was gross. She got the parchment and ran back to the common room.

"I guess I shouldn't ask how you're feeling, huh"Alyssa asked Oakey. She then noticed the chair and the bucket, and quickly emptied it in a nearby bin before bringing it back to him. "I'm sorry I wasn't of much help earlier. Thank goodness Sammy was around." Alyssa smiled apologetically at him.

three mints lay on top of the check in list.

Cece was in her office doing some reading when she heard some commotion out in the waiting room. Closing her book she stood up then went out to see what was going on.

Seeing that there were a few students there she went to the sign in book to see who needed to be seen. Finding three peppermints there she moved them out of the way so she could read the register.

Really?

The kid is throwing up candy and then he leaves candy on the sign in log. Is he out of his mind here? Like Cece would ever take something from a student anyway... especially after what happened to her at that feast. She would NOT be eating or drinking anything that she hasn't prepared herself.

Turning back to the students she grabbed those three peppermints off the board. She should make him eat them just for leaving them... or maybe she should just take some points from him. Cece really didn't see the humor in this at all.

"Oakey Gunter, follow me back to the healing area." And if he threw up anything on the way back he WOULD be cleaning it up himself...

Just for that stunt of leaving those peppermints for her.

Uncle Moose 01-05-2012 05:43 AM

Oakey silently agreed with Alyssa as she walked in and asked how he was feeling. Any time he opened his mouth to say something candy came out along with it. He was also really embarrassed. He hasn't really shown his best when he was around Alyssa. If I told her, would it help? It might, but he wouldn't do it here, he had only just met Sammy. she was real nice and helped him a ton, he had only met her about 15 minutes ago. Plus that whole, If Oakey opens his mouth he becomes a candy dispenser machine, thing. He smiled back at her, he was happy that she had come up to see how he was doing.

He still had his self-writing quill, he could write to Alyssa, but he didn't have anything to write on. He looked down at his now empty chair/bucket (Thanks to Alyssa) and filled it up some more with candy.

Alyssa stepped back as the Nurse came to get Oakey. She noticed her looking at the candy that Oakey had spewed out and quickly said to Oakey as he was being led away."I'll catch up with you. I just want to clean this up first. See you in awhile." Alyssa then picked up the chair/bucket, making sure that there were no stray candy lying around and quickly emptied the contents of the chair/bucket into a trash bin. Then she whipped out her wand and pointed it at the chair/bucket and said, "Scourgify" making sure that it was thoroughly clean before placing it back in its original place. Then Alyssa quickly ran after the departing figures in the distance.

He looked up quickly when the nurse called for him to follow her. She didn't seem to pleased about something from her tone of voice. He got and quickly went to the healing area. Holding The Candy back the best he could.

samthehpfreak 01-05-2012 09:57 AM

Admittedly the nurse was a little intimidating and Sammy wanted to run and hide instead of spending more time there and Alyssa seemed to be staying so that meant Sammy could go? Well Oakey and scary-nurse-lady had already left and Alyssa was trailing after them so Sammy was going. She needed to get something to wash down the idea of Oakey throwing up candy ... cookies perhaps? Or maybe just a glass of water. Either way she wasn't going to find anything to help her in the Hospital Wing so she got up "I'll see you guys later" she called to Oakey and Alyssa before making her way out of the hospital wing and to the kitchens.

Adam walked into the hospital wing, his feet slowly dragging behind him. He had been treated for the sickness of Dragon Pox at St. Mungo's but, just to be extra safe, an not wanting to return back to the school an be sick once again, he had decided to check in with the Hospital Wing before going anywhere else in the school. Whether he was in good standing or not, Adam was more than certain the school nurse would check him out. So, he patiently waited for the nurse to be done with her other patients, while he sat on a chair.

Cece looked at the sign in board and noticed the student she had been owled about had returned. This should be a quick visit since it was only a check-up. She was pretty sure the staff at St. Mungo's would never let this student come back if he hadn't been completely cured. None the less, she would check him over before letting him go back to classes.

"Adam Burn, please follow me." Seeing as there was only one student in the waiting area she naturally assumed it was Adam so she just went on back. Hopefully he would follow her.

After looking over the check in log Cece found there was someone waiting with a hand injury. Looking around the waiting room she seen the little girl sitting there alone. "Autumn, you may come back. Follow me." Cece lead the way back to the healing area.

After getting lost and needing to ask several paintings for directions, Melanie wandered into the waiting room, not quite sure what to expect. She was afraid of what kind of weird, magical ailments she might be exposed to. Would they be contagious? It seemed as if her fears were unfounded, however, as it was, by all appearances, a normal waiting room.

She sat down in a spare seat, trying to keep her distance from the other people. Hopefully, they didn't take it personally, she just didn't want to get sick. She was only checking in on her friend, wanting to see if she was okay.

Finding the crying girl in the waiting area, Cece went over to her. "Louise. Follow me please." Maybe Cece should send for Professor Hadley to help with this one. This girl was obviously going to need more than Cece could offer her.

Weasley174 01-10-2012 02:37 PM

Laura couldn't believe how much paid some bruises on her leg could cause her and if it wasn't for the fact that the Gryffindor Prefect was helping her walk then she was sure she would have been on the floor again, surely the Professor would have something to help easy the pain.

Team ronmione 01-11-2012 12:27 AM

Adam softly let go of Laura as he seated her onto a chair. "I'm sure you'll be fine now, the Nurse will handle with your leg. An, you probably don't want to hear this, but I do suggest you tell her what happened. She'll probably ask you either way how you hurt your leg." Adam informed her with a shrug. Laura had difficulty walking, but at least she had him as a sort of support beam. "Or maybe a Professor, you'll need to tell someone though. An, if anything else happens-you can just come to me. I'm Adam."

Laura looked at Adam and smiled, this boy was cute. "I hope she's going something for the pain, it hurts." Laura sighed, she really wished she had some sort of pain potion or something. "Well if she does, I'll just tell her it was an accident." Laura replied, it was sort of true, it was an accidently jinx. "Why should I tell someone it will just make things worse." She didn't want to let Gwen get into trouble for an accident. "Hi Adam, I'm Laura." Now hopefully the Prefect would stop asking questions about what had happened.

Team ronmione 01-11-2012 01:02 AM

Of course the nurse would do something for the pain. That was, after all, a nurse's job to cure people of illness, sickness or injuries. "She'll have something cooking up for your leg, I bet." He nodded at her wanting it be told as an accident. Adam did not want to push the subject as she also seemed reluctant to talk about it herself. It would only turn nasty if he kept at the conversation of the matter. "Ultimately, what you want to say is up to you. I can do no more on that part of my job from this moment on."
