The door is ajar, just waiting for you to open it and enter the classroom. When you do you notice that nothing is out of the ordinary. All the desks are lined up in the usual manner, each with a single piece of large paper resting on top, Professor Magnus' desk is still at the far end of the room, and the blackboard is to the side.
There is a message on the blackboard, however. Quote:

The actual lesson won't start for another couple of hours or so. Please have your character enter, but DON'T chat excessively or points will be taken. ;P Class has started - Please do not announce your late arrival. HELPFUL LINKS:
[*] First question
[*] Practice instructions - new spell and wand movement
[*] Second question
[*] Come up to the front, kiddies. Professor Magnus wants you to see something....
[*] Second demonstration
[*] Go forth and practice |

Still no luck, then from the corner of his eye he caught a picture frame inching it's way out of the class and into the hall...Oh no you don't He jerked his hands from the ground and smacked his head on the bottom of a desk! OH GEEZE! He rubbed the back of his head quickly then moved to the entrance of class pushing through students who were leaving. I found it Professor! I must not of cast the spell as well as I thought I did. Oakey hurried back to his desk to continue the lesson when he noticed that the classroom was practically empty... Darn it! Oakey exclaimed to the heavens. Did I miss the whole lesson Professor? he said now terribly distraught. "It would appear so," Isabelle smiled as she looked at the boy, now reunited with his frame. "But, you know, you did perform the spell at least once...even if it didn't go the way you wanted. You'll be able to try some more when you do the homework, don't worry." Quote:

Minerva of course was thinking ahead at doing this spell again and she had a ton of muggle paper in her bag. As Minerva started clearing up, Isabelle went back around her desk to do the same to the top of it. Looking up as the girl spoke to her, she nodded her head. "It will work on anything, actually. But if you want to encase a picture like we did earlier, then it has to be a flat thing you're working with." Quote:

Perhaps she would put it on the endtable next to her bed in the dormitories.
The fifth year began to pack up her things, making sure her desk was clearner than it had been when she had first arrived and, after doing so, went up to Profeesor Magnus. "Thank you for the lesson, professor. Do you need any help collecting the left over papers?" Kurumi didn't have any plans after the lesson, so it really wasn't a bother. Another helper? My, the kids were being extra nice this year. "Actually, Minerva and....Alyssa, I think," Isabelle looked over to where the other Hufflepuff was, to see if she was still going to help, "offered to collect everything for me. But I tell you what - would you mind reverting the frames back to paper for me and placing it all in that box over there, please? That would be very helpful." Issy smiled and pointed over to the box on the floor by her mini storeroom. Quote:

"I'll be happy to stay behind and help out too, Professor. That's if Minnie doesn't mind. I can help pick up the paper that some of students may have forgotten to throw away. Help clean up after them. That way we'll get done faster,"Alyssa offered turning to Minnie to see whether she was okay with her helping. Good, good, she was going to help after all. "Well, with three of you working as a unit, I think the classroom will be cleared in lightning fast time," Isabelle chuckled. "Thank you, Alyssa." Quote:

She bent down to pick up some parchment paper that still looked good as new, so turned to the Professor and asked her,"Professor, these parchment papers still look pretty new. Would you like for me to keep them aside for you, so that you can reuse them again in your next class? If yes, where would you like me to place them?" "Oh, urrr, that box over there please. It's where Kurumi is putting the reverted frames. Keep all the paper together. Thanks," she grinned, shuffling some that was on her desk. Quote:

She bit her lip as she continued, "Well..I haven't really finished mine. Not the first one but the second task you made me do.." She looked at the Professor. Gaaaaah, this was disappointing. "I can't seem to make a presentable looking frame from the parchment. However, I'll continue practing Professor!"
If she'd be given permission, she'd like to try it once more at the Transfiguration Practice Room. Isabelle looked up from her shuffling when Beezus approached again with her frame. Smiling warmly, she glanced down at it. "I know how you feel. I always had something I still wanted to do when lessons were over. But you are more than welcome to carry on practising in the Transfiguration room if you want." Quote:

"That's very nice, I like it. If you want to keep it go ahead," Isabelle smiled.

Looking around it looked like most students had left so she knew they were almost finished.

Issy smiled and pointed over to the box on the floor by her mini storeroom. Kurumi had probably been zoning out when the two Hufflepuffs had asked. Either that, or she was busy watching the other Hufflepuff and trying not to get her eye poked out by the tree. Kurumi was about to dismiss herself, when Professor Magnus offered her a different little odd job. Oh GOOD! One step in making up for how Kurumi was feeling about last term and what she had done during the Clowning Around lesson.
" Not at all, professor," she said with a smile, removing her wand from her pocket and twirling it in her fingers. Kurumi could always use the extra practice anyway. More focusing her mind and honing her transfiguration skills. All in all, it was a win win situation.
Kurumi picked up the box and set it on a nearby desk. Picking up each frame one by one, Kurumi pointed her wand at them, cast Reverto, and set the paper down on the table, making a nice even stack. When the box was empty and all frames turned into paper, Kurumi picked up the papers and set them in the box to cut down on any clutter.
" Professor Magnus, once all the papers are in here, should I take it to the Transfiguration practice room or to your office?"

Thea picked up her frame, and popped it in her bag. As she had not yet had a chance to put her photo in it, Thea also slipped her photo in beside it. Brushing her hand along her forehead, Thea sighed.
As she passed the professor at the front of the class, Thea flashed her a smile. 'Thankyou for the lesson, professor. It was brilliant.' The Gryffindor patted her bag and exited the classroom.

Alyssa quickly gathered all the unused parchment paper that had been left behind. She then brought them up to the box where Kurumi had laid the other paper which she had reverted back to from the frames left behind, and placed added them to the pile. Alyssa went back to clearing all the desks of the used and crinkled paper and dropped those into the trash basket she was carrying. She made sure to check the floor under the desks, where some of the scraps or torn bits of paper may have dropped. Picking those up, she threw them into the basket.

"Professor Magnus, once all the papers are in here, should I take it to the Transfiguration practice room or to your office?" Occasionally looking up from her own tidying - honestly how did her desk get so bad? She'd only moved a few things for the demonstration - Isabelle grinned as her helpers went about their business.
And it seemed like they were nearly finished. "Umm, practice room please. I think it would be best to have a supply in there for you all to use." Even though they could get paper everywhere most likely. "Thank you, Kurumi....And you Alyssa, Minerva. We've got this place tidy in no time. 5 points each for helping me." Without being asked to.

Wow five extra points Minerva wasn't expecting that she just loved transfiguration and professor Magnus and wanted to help. She headed out of the classroom after taking one last look to make sure she didn't forget to pick up a frame or anything.

Accepting the remaining frames from the Hufflepuff girls, Kurumi cast Reverto on them and then added those papers to the box and lifted it slightly to see if it was heavy or not. Nope, completely manageable on her own. Lifting it up, she gave the professor a small nod before her eyes widened. Points...really were not necessary. She was only trying to make up for her, erm, cheating from last term in any small form that she could.
Bowing her head again, Kurumi clutched the box against her chest and watched as the younger Puff left the room for the...practice room? She really didn't need to go there, did she? Maybe she just wanted to keep Kurumi company while she set the box down on a shelf. Kurumi wouldn't mind that.
"Thank you, again, for the lesson Professor Magnus. I'll just set this on a shelf in the practice room then."
Nodding her head again, Kurumi made her way out of the classroom with the box.

Alyssa wasn't expecting to be awarded house points for assisting the Professor, but she would gladly take it. Smiling at the Professor, Alyssa bowed her head in thanks and said,"Thank you Professor for another entertaining class and I look forward to attending your next one." before heading out the door after Minerva.

Nodding her head as each of them said goodbye, Isabelle followed them to the door and shut it behind them, sending them off with another "Thank you!"
Now, to get the homework posted.
