Not really in the mood to sit down, Nessie took her pygmy puff, Puffles and started to wonder around the train corridor. She left her owl in the compartment she had chosen, as she didn't feel like carrying some screeching creature around the train. She didn't like traveling by train much. She used get a little nauseous from most sort of traveling, but it wasn't like she had much of an option and the train ride wasn't as bad as flying in an airplane, that was her worst..flying. It was a little difficult to walk on the train, but Nessie somehow coped and weirdly so she felt better standing than sitting. There wasn't anywhere particular she was heading, she was just walking around randomly.

Her life was far from boring, but she still didn't like it. There was too much bad drama. She wasn't a drama person, she wanted to have more happy memories than dramatic ones, which was why this year she wouldn't get involved in any drama whatsoever. She would focus on being happy and surrounding herself with happy and caring people.

Walking a few more steps Nessie noticed that there was some white creature running around and once she realized what it was she started to screech. "Get that thing FAR AWAY from me" She screamed at the small looking boy that was standing not so far away. It must have been his rat right? Or who else could it belong to. It was quite horrifying to watch the rat as it came closer and closer. Looking at the floor she noticed bertie bott beans lying all over and they seemed to be what the rat was after. From shock she couldn't move, yet she felt Puffles nibble on her shoulder as though he wanted to be put down. She turned her head and looked at her pygmy puff as though he was crazy. So much for a drama free year. For some crazy reason she slowly lifted the puff ball and placed him on the ground. All she did was stare and try not to scream again.

Panda's head tilted sideways when he saw the girl so close to his cage. This was his territory and no one invades his territory! How dare this strange girl stuck her finger into his territory! Without any sign, Panda quickly pecked the girls finger. He shall guard his own territory!

Honestly, how naive can this girl get? Panda was one fierce owl. Should make a good guard someday when he was well trained. He watched as the girl curiously stuck her finger into Panda's cage. The owl unsurprisingly pecked her finger. Hades remained calm, arms still crossed in front of him. "I told you," he smirked as he mumbled to himself. A master knew his pet more than anyone else. That was very logical.

Boy Meeko sure was goibblng up the Bertie Botts fast. At the rate he was going, he would eat them all up and be up his pants before anyone even noticed him. That would totally defeat the purpose of being in the corridor in the first place. Greedy rat.

He hurried along behind the fuzzy white creature until he heard the shriek of a young female. She must have spotted Meeko. The almost first year boy behan to roar with laughter. His efforts had not been in vain after all. He grabbed the rat up by the tail and offered it to the young girl.

"Get him away from you? Why he's quite friendly.." he said dangling the rat closer to her. A wicked grin played around his lips and his big blue eyes danced with laughter.

Good Panda, I know you won't bite me. Beezus said in her mind. She was half hoping, half confident that the owl wouldn't actually bite her finger which was now inside its cage. It was such a cute owl, and cute beings like that don't bite. But it seems like Hades' pet was the exact opposite because after a few seconds, it pecked her finger! Yes, it did. And she was dumbfounded! The cute thing did bite her and she highly believed it wouldn't.

Guess she should have listened to Hades since he's the bird's master. Nevertheless, she doesn't regret her actions. It was worth trying anyway. But her index finger, which it bit was clearly hurting right now. "I suppose you're right." She told Hades as she stood up and placed her pecked hand inside her jeans' pocket.

''Oh sorry,'' she looked at the cat as in saying sorry but you know that'd be weird... since she was already 'crazy' for running up and down the train corridor screaming nargles? Oh LuLu REALLY hated dares

A prefect? Oh she saw this girl before... well who didn't know her ''Sorry...,'' she felt quite small! It was weird ''It was a stupid dare...,'' she looked at her feet ''I had to take them off it was.. part of it,'' it wasn't but her shoes slipped off easily and she was rapped up in a blanket half a sleep in a compartment for a few hours did that mean she had to keep them on? She took them out of her bag and slipped them on!

After the incident, Hades' face made the expression of "that's going to leave a mark". Slipping his bag strap off his shoulder, he took out a small vial which was labelled Dittany. "Let me take a look at that," demanded Hades as he pushed himself off the wall, approaching Beezus as he took off the cap from the vial.

Just in case Beezus will get suspicious of him, "It's all right. It's only the Essence of Dittany," he held the vial by it's neck so she could see the label. Hades was used to this potion thanks to the constant biting he got from Panda. Heck! He was even capable of brewing it now.

Beezus just continued staring at Panda. She still couldn't accept it. Just then, Hades demanded that he look at her wound. She looked at him and frowned, if that's the case then it was like he was telling her 'I told you so' in a charitable way. And she did not want to be a charity case. "No...I" But before she could even finish, the boy was already holding out a tiny vial on her face.

It said Essence of Dittany. She knew that dittany was a potion used to heal wound, seemingly like a first aid medicine. But wait..dittany?? Yeah. It struck a certain event on her mind. Something that happened on her first year at Hogwarts and remembering it along with the person inside that memory made her shake her head in a 'I can't believe I'm remembering this' way while her lips scrunched into a smirk-ish grin.

When she saw that the little boy pick up his disgusting little rat. She calmed down a little happy that her pygmy puff that was on the ground, was now safe. She was all calm until she saw the boy was holding his rat right up in front of her. "TAKE IT AWAY!!!" She screeched and then cringed. Could the boy not see she was creeped out by his filthy little rat. Taking a step back she breathed in and out trying not to be any more panicked than she already was.

Since the boy looked like a firstbie, Nessie decided to go easy on him, although she must have already frightened him with all her screaming. It wasn't like she could help it, it was how she reacted to these sort of things most girls would react like that.

Giving the boy a stern sort of look she bit her lip figuring out what to say. "Look, he may be all friendly and cool to you..but to me he's not, so I'm asking you nicely please get him away from me." Her voice was filled with worry and hopefully the boy would listen to her this time.

Now he was thoroughly entertained. Where was this girl all summer? He had grown quite bored of scaring his sister and well Lulu and her brother tried biting Meeko's head off when he brought him to Ollivanders, so this red head was refreshing new victimcompany. He cackled with absolute glee. " Oh come oooon, he doesn't really bite..much..and well he'll only nip you if there's some kind of food on you. He likes food you know."

But then, what rat didn't?

Her screaming made him laugh harder and he stepped closer to her with the dangling rat.

"Listen you, if you don't pet him you'll hurt his feelings and he'll refuse to have dinner tonight." He pat Meeko gently on the head.

"Perhaps you should give him a little kiss to make him feel better about you screaming at him like that."

Beezus peculiar response made him raised an eyebrow again. Hades was still holding the bottle on its neck when the younger girl shrugged, saying something weird and smirked. "Are you all right?" he enquired as he stretched his neck closer to her. Was there some kind of new virus that infected the brain by owl bites?

"Either you lose more blood and potentially gets amnesia or let me help you," said the blonde firmly and ended it with a smirk at the corrner of his lips. It would be a problem if she fainted in the middle of the corridor and he definitely won't trouble himself by dragging her somewhere.

OOPS! Had he startled her?! Yes, he had seen her little jump when he had greeted her. "Oh, I'm sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." Lewis mumbled, biting his lip, realizing that she might not have a warning system like he had with Vanilla's purring. Well, maybe she would have soon, seeing as Vanilla was probably going to following - or try to, anyway - her around school as much as she could.

It...didn't seem to be too thrilled by her presence. BUT WHY?! Vanilla cocked her head slightly to the side, watching the other cat. There was absolutely NO REASON AT ALL not to like her. She was adorable. So, with the intention of proving exactly that, she waddled over there to lick it behind its ears. See, that was how adorable she was.

Only when she had finally made it over to the other cat...the nice girl with the awesome ear-scratching abilities had scooped it up. *sadface* Sitting down again, Vanilla continued to stare at the cat with the short legs now in the girl's arms. She was going to make him like her.

Walnut had PEED on the Headmaster's shoes?! "But why?!" Lewis asked, a small slightly amused smile playing around his lips. He wasn't sure if he should laugh or be worried about the cat's sanity. Why would any normal cat pee on random people's shoes?!



Now it was his turn to jump slightly when all of a sudden there was this girl SCREAMING about how Nargles took her shoes. Was this normal for Hogwarts? Crazy people just running around yelling random things? Staring at the girl, his eyes fell onto...Walnut who had made his way over to where she was standing and lowered itself onto her foot. Hang on...

Happy that the other cat had been released again - she had already started to consider jumping onto the girl's shoulder to reach it from there - Vanilla quickly waddled after Walnut, trying to succeed in her mission to make him like her. But then...

Sniff! Sniff! Had he just...?! Vanilla just stood there as if she had been paralyzed and stared at the other cat, clearly shocked by his actions. What had he done?! Or tried to do?!

"Oh...wow." Was all Lewis could think of to say about what had just happened. Walnut had just tried to pee onto that girl's foot. Even though, she kinda sorta deserved it for running around screaming like that. What had the headmaster done to deserve this kind of punishment?!

Was she alright? Well.. "Yeah..I'm fine.I just.." And she started blinking uncontrollably. What was with her and the blinking?! Then she shook her head and sighed. "I just remembered someone, that's all." And when she looked at Hades, it struck her, maybe they were in the same house? The person she remembered and him, could be right? There was a huge possibility, they had some sort of similar aura.

"Oh." Beezus muttered. She was reminded of her wound. It was just a tiny peck, no need to fuss about it that much. But then again, she lacked iodine and losing blood certainly won't be good for her. "Uh..sure.I'll do it." She added, taking out her wounded hand from her pocket.

She was definitely lying when she said she was all right. It was obvious because she was blinking involuntarily. Hades' questions ended when she told him what he wanted to hear. "Oho~ A special someone, eh?" said the other boy pertly. He reminded himself that she looked at him that way... Did he looked like the guy in question?

Approaching the girl, Hades took her hand, dropped three drops of the potion. "Don't get me wrong. It might be a small wound, but I don't know what he ate when I set him free for a few days," which meant he wanted to prevent infections. Hades didn't like to be blamed for things he never meant to commit just like what happened two terms ago when he accidentally set a grindylow lose in Durmstrang.

Much? Nessie eyed the boy carefully. To be honest, she could deal with biting her pygmy puff bit her all the time, but it was just the fact that it was a rat. The rats bite could have been way more painful or even worse it could be venomous. Made sense why her pygmy puff was so interested by the rat. They were the same in that way. If there was one thing Puffles couldn't live without it was food. The indigo pygmy puff started bouncing up trying to attract the rats attention. Ness didn't say a word to Puffles, she just watched him bouncing in shock.

Hearing the boy laugh, she put her eyes back on him. So he thought this was funny? She'd show him what funny really was if he wouldn't stop. Could he not see she was being torturised by this all. And now the boy was walking closer to her. "I said keep him away from me!" Honestly would he give her a break? She took a few more steps back wanting to keep her distance.

Meh. Did he seriously think she cared if the rat had dinner or not? Okay...maybe she cared but just a little. She was more worried to touch the rat.

A WHAT? He wanted her to give the rat a KISS? Was he MAD? She stared at him in horror. There was NO chance she would put her lips near that thing nevermind kiss it. She shrieked really loud, and the whole train must have heard her by now. This boy was asking for it. "I am NOT kissing THAT THING!" She shouted not really caring if she scared the boy.

Kurumi laughed. A dare? Were students still playing Truth or Dare? Kurumi remembered her first train ride had included that game, but she had mostly sat in silence in the compartment while everyone else played. She had asked for a dare at the time, but the group of Slytherin girls had ignored her, causing the first year girl to go further back in her shell.

"As long as everything is alright," she nodded with a small head shake to show the younger Ravenclaw that, well, there was no harm and therefore no foul. "Just make sure that your next dare isn't about running through the corridors yelling about there being a fire," she winked.


Kurumi laughed and shook her head, causing her long black hair to cascade over her shoulders. Her bangs sort of got in her eyes, so she quickly adjusted them before speaking again. "It's fine, really. You didn't really scare me," she explained. "I was trying to make sure that Walnut stayed out of trouble...which takes more than just two eyes sometimes."

Liiiiiiiike, right now.

Sighing, but with Wanut safely back in her arms and away from anyone's shoes, Kurumi leaned against the wall beside Lewis. Her cheeks were on fire now, mostly from embarrassment. Merlin, couldn't Walnut spend more than a few hours not causing trouble? Maybe she should have left him in the prefect compartment? No, he still held a grudge against Treyen and Eino - for two very different reasons - so it was probably best that she had taken him with her.

Walnut's tail was swishing back and forth with displeasure, but he was just going to have to deal with it. She wasn't letting him jump out of her arms a second time.

"Yeah...um...Walnut is territorial and whenever someone...upsets him he...does that," she mumbled. She remembered that she never had really explained about why Walnut had thought it a good idea to pee on Headmaster Tate, so she probably should give a little more detail there. Although, it was mostly her best guess. "Walnut...really liked the Head Girl last year and she mentioned in passing once that it was the Headmaster's fault that she had to graduate. I guess Walnut thought that by peeing on the man it would change things?" Clearly, Walnut was no Ravenclaw.

She snorted all of a sudden. A special someone? That guy? No. No. No. He would never be someone like that. Not ever. This Hades was getting was too personal, she noticed so she looked at him sternly, "Of course not." She answered a bit later. But maybe he knew him? Riiiight? Possibly right? "What house are you in anyway?"

Okay, so she said she was the one whose going to do it, so she didn't really expected when he came dashing in taking her hand and dropping the essence of dittany on it personally. "It'sssss..okay.. I mean.." Sigh. Why in the world was he doing it like 'him'? "Thanks." Beezus said instead. She was feeling helpless at the moment and she wasn't fond of those kind of things.

The silver eagle flew above Elise's head and out into the corridor. Running after it, she sighed. She was wondering where Beezus was, then the adorable! Eagle decided to jump out of her pocket and find Beezus for her.

Nooooooooooooo! Stop already!

Paying more attention to the flying silver figurine, she didn't realize that she had actually run into someone. Who was this person? El was pretty sure she'd never seen him before.

Smiling apologetically, she picked herself off the floor. "I'm sorry about that," she blushed furiously. "My eagle was looking for-"

"Beezus!" she grinned, relieved. Holding out her arm, the eagle perched itself on her shoulder and folded its wings.

Turning back towards the ridiculously tall person she'd ran into, she smiled. "I'm El. Elise Fairfield." Yeah, and that's supposed to be an apology for running into him? The eagle tried pulling on her hair, and succeeded in messing her careful braid up. Stupid thing.

Tyler frowned at her and pulled Meeko back. Clearly this one was crazy. She said she didn't like his pet, yet instead of running away like normal girls did, she was standing around yelling at him and his rat. Meeko was even shaking.

He held his rat close to his face.
"Did the mean girl scare you Meeko? It's alright, we'll show her." He once again held the rat by his tail and pet his head. What was so scary about the little guy anyways? He was cute and fluffy with a cool pink nose and tail. It looked way better than that purple thing she was tooting around.

"Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine, jeez, don't get your knickers in a bunch." drama queen this one.. He rolled his eyed then held Meeko to him.

Tyler couldn't help but smirk as she shrieked again. Really if she was going to carry on like this he might as well give her a reason to. Without warning he plopped his rat unto her shoulder.

"Well if you won't kiss him, give him a little pat or something."

Now she felt a little bad. She looked at the little boy that was frowing. She must have really frightened him, but it wasn't like she could help herself. His rat was scary and she couldn't change the way she felt nor reacted. Keeping her mouth shut she didn't apologize for her shouting. He should apologize first, Ness thought it was only fair.

Mean? She wasn't being mean! She was just behaving like any other normal girl would. Pssshhht..show her? Yeah right! Nessie doubted such a little boy could do anything that would hurt her. She could easily protect herself with a few spells if necessary.

"I am NOT getting my knickers in bunch." This boy was so rude. She glared at him as he rolled her eyes. "How dare you talk to me like that? Do you know how old I am?." This boy should have been respecting her and treating her right and listening to everything she told him. She was older than him and she felt that he should have been behaving better.

She turned her head to look at Puffles again, and then she felt something on her shoulder. She turned her head once more to see the RAT on HER shoulder. Instantly she shrieked again. "YOU DUM BOY!!!!" Now she was really panicking. "SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!"She couldn't stand still anymore she started running around trying to get the scary rat off her shoulder.

Thrusting the vial into his pocket, Hades laughed when Beezus panicked. What house? Huh? How'd he knew? "Perhaps Slytherin," answered Hades after a long pause. Most people he met said he will pass as a Slytherin easily too. He started to think of pranks when suddenly Nora's advise came to his mind. Professor Lafay, head Slytherin and Potions Mistress was no one to mess with. Even the name taunted him. Lafay... Was she the great descendant of Morgan le Fay?

Suddenly, another girl about Beezus' age bumped into him. "It's all right," Hades smirked at the other girl whose name was apparently El. "Pleasure meeting you, El. I'm Hades. Vaughn," he introduced himself. Hopefully his name didn't intimidate the girl. Hades wasn't such a bad person after all.

Oh, good. He REALLY didn't want to make her uncomfortable in any way. She was the closest to a friend here he had right now. Smiling at her, Lewis let his eyes drop to the furball in her arms for a moment before looking back up at her. "I can see that." He commented. "But I'm pretty sure you just got yourself an extra pair of eyes." Lewis added with a soft chuckle and a pointed nod at Vanilla sitting right in front of Kurumi staring up at the other cat.

Lewis did notice the way she was blushing when she moved to lean against the wall next to him. He looked at her for a moment, trying to come up with the right thing to say to make her less embarrassed but then in the end, he just glanced back down at the floor. He really wasn't any good at that so he decided against saying something after all.

Looking back up at her when she started talking again, Lewis couldn't help but laugh as he listened her story. "Really?! That was the reason?" Then leaning in slightly so he was actually looking at Walnut he added, "Well, it was worth a try, wasn't it?" Then, moving back to lean against the wall again he whispered as if to prevent Walnut from hearing, a grin playing around his lips, "I just hope I won't do anything to upset him, then."

Another set of eyes? Kurumi was momentarily confused by this and thought that he meant that he would also keep an eye on him, which she really couldn't ask him to do considering that they had only met today and watching Walnut was a very dangerous ordeal at times. But then, she noticed his nod in his own cat's direction and she couldn't help but giggle. "Oh dear, does Vanilla have a crush on Walnut? She doesn't know what she is getting herself into," she laughed. "I suppose that is alright though, considering that we are friends. Plenty of chances for the two of them to be around each other." Who knew that in coming to Hogwarts she would have become a kitty matchmaker.

Kurumi's jaw dropped slightly and she playfully punched his shoulder. "Shame on you for encouraging him!" She should be able to tell from her tone and expression that she was joking. Kurumi was pretty easy to read, especially when her hair came into play. Scratching Walnut behind the ears, she looked at Lewis with an innocent expression. "Sometimes...Walnut can be just as protective of he as my father," she said, her expression changing to a rather serious one. Her cat was strange like that...and her father by extension really. "I'll put in a good word for you though. He...sometimes listens to me."

Not a second too long after Hades dropped dittany on her wound did someone came running towards them and she was sure whose silhouette it was. "Hi Elise." She said, giving her a small smile. Why was she running anyway? And oh, the eagle. If she was not mistaken, that was what hatched from the girl's Charms egg. Pretty useful, Beezus notice.

Perhaps? Did she just hear the word perhaps? She quickly shifted her attention back to Hades. "Perhaps? So.." Now, she is frowning. "You're a transfer student?" She added. If he really was then that would explain why she couldn't say that he was a familiar face in the first place. But wait, he just said Slytherin. That means he wants to be sorted in Slytherin. Now its really bothering her. 'He' was in Slytherin too.

Oakey got himself onto the train with out much difficulty. He searched around to find an empty compartment, or at least one with some space left in it. He walked further down keeping a look out for one such compartment.

"Thanks," she grinned, petting her silver pet. "Hades? As in the God of the underworld?" she asked, fascinated.

"That's really cool," she beamed, nodding fervently. "My mother's name was Pandora."

He really didn't seem familiar, somehow. El hadn't bumped into him last year, and El bumps into everyone! Quite literally. Elise Fairfield somehow managed to get two left feet.
