I kid you not, this is one tree you don’t want to mess with. It's best you keep a safe distance from the Whomping Willow's tree limbs or you may end up with a few broken limbs yourself.
NONE of this was any fair. Eli wasn't apologizing to her, which, for once she agreed with Treyen, and thought she should get one. And then he accused Treyen of putting her under the Imperius curse, while simultaneously implying that Ellie wouldn't elect to be with Treyen on her own, which hurt.
And HER? AND HER?! So what? So what if she didn't get to see her boyfriend a lot and WOULD rather go around snogging him or arguing with him or ANYTHING with him than anything else in the world right now.
And and and everything he was saying HURT. It hurt HER because it was both offensive to Treyen and herself and it wasn't TRUE. And if Eli would really go and consider himself one of her best friends, he wouldn't go around saying things like that. Hell, she'd told Max ALL about the hurt Treyen had caused her, and Max didn't go 'round calling him 'rubbish' and a 'git'.
Thank Merlin when Eli walked away. Ellie still threw death glares at his back, though.
She continued staring in the direction Eli took until she heard Treyen speak. Then she turned her eyes to him, letting out a small laugh. "Good to know." She picked up a lock of it and held it to her face. "Pity it doesn't at least smell like lemondrops, though." Maybe there was a spell that changed the smell of your hair to match the color.
"And you're not rubbish or a git," she informed him. She'd definitely thought those words warranted more of a reaction from him. But it hardly mattered now that Eli was gone.
It amazed her how Treyen could go back into such a relaxed position after all that. SHE was seriously peeved. And hurt. And concerned. "I know," she nodded. Not that one exactly knew when they were under the Imperius curse, but she knew Treyen wouldn't do such a thing, and knew that it was completely genuine, how she grew to love him.
With him dropping her hand, she wasn't sure what to do with it, and clasped it with the other in her lap. Because she wasn't going to go laying back down.
That laugh, brought a small smile to his face. Plus, it was great she didn't believe the Ravenclaw boy over him. Made him feel better. If she'd decided to believe the 'lemondrops' comment, well, then he was seriously never talking ever again. Mainly because she seemed to find it rather easier to believe everyone else but him. Regardless of what she said, that was the truth.
But...never mind.
He was leaving this incident behind. And the 'rubbish' and 'git' part. Yeah, he really didn't care, so he shrugged.

When he knew she wouldn't agree. When he spoke up before she could. Like when he'd told her he loved her.
Ellie tried her best to suppress the goofy grin on her face. Enough, at least, that it wasn't detrimental to the kiss. Which, the funny thing about being on the ground, made it impossible to pull away from, even if she'd wanted to. But why would she? One hand grabbed the arm belonging to the hand holding her face, keeping it there, and the other snaked around to the nape of Treyen's neck, her fingers just in his hair, while she kissed back.

April was one of Sierra's least favorite months. The odd thing was, she couldn't really explain why. Maybe she just hated the word April. Or maybe there was never really anything exciting that happened in April. It usually meant a lot of studying for finals, which definitely didn't excite Sierra.
So it was with a frown on her face that Sierra nearly dragged her telescope across the grounds. Hearing a slight rustling sound, she looked over to see the Whomping Willow. Again, not withing a good whomping distance. She wasn't that idiotic.
She set up her telescope right where she was standing and aimed it off to her right. It was an open area, but at the same time, she could clearly see the Whomping Willow, as well. No sense in getting whomped unnecessarily. Peering through her telescope, she hoped to spot something fairly quickly. She was tired tonight but needed to get one more sighting in before she started running late.
Ten minutes later, she grinned as she spotted Hercules. She made note of this in her journal then packed up and headed back to the dungeons.

She had no idea how much he was going to miss her.

His birthday wasn't completely ruined, was it? It didn't seem like he felt that way.

THAT smile was...incredible. He loved to see her smile, especially after their little misunderstanding. But right now, all he cared about were those mesmerizing blue eyes looking back at him. So, really, he was failing to notice anything else, his hair being messed up with too, there was a good chance he'd have taken her hands if he'd noticed that. But he didn't. Everything was perfect. Or so he'd thought, because her smile started to fade and a frown was slowly making its way to his face. It was never fully formed and the small sign of it dissipated as soon as she apologized.
Now, he didn't know what she was apologizing for. If it was for Eli, she wasn't the one who needed to apologize to him, nor anyone for that matter, he was letting it go. If it was for their little argument, well, she didn't have to either since it'd been his idea, not hers. So, he was the one to blame.
And...he couldn't think of anything else she'd be apologizing for. He still smiled and nodded once, "It's okay." Apology accepted. She must be apologizing for Eli.
Treyen pressed his lips against hers again. They were free to enjoy themselves today, yes? No more interruptions? Good.

Minerva put her things down and sat far enough from the tree she wouldn't get hit, but close enough that it might irritate the tree a bit. She watched as it smacked away some birds and brush limbs close to her. She pulled out her parchment to finish a letter she had begun a few days ago. She looked up at the tree again and thought about playing her fun little game, but decided she was a bit tired.

He smiled when she said ok.. well he was family.. and since Mins was his friend.. time to accept that fact.. or that distance would still be there no matter how hard he tried to eliminate it. He then listened as she spoke to him "I guess they just dont know how to react to you disappearing thats why they feel awkward or stare at you. Well they were right in sending you here.. at least I got to see you and hang out with you.. before you decide whether to return or not next year.. yeah you may have" he smiled as he thought of the rest of his school without Mins.. difficult since he always thought they would be together and now one was thinking of not returning.

"What about you? doing anything exciting for the summer?" he asked wondering if she had anything planned

Minerva looked at him so unsure. "I don't know yet. It depends on where I'm going. My last letter from my grandparents was that I was staying with them, but my letter from Leelee was they were still in discussion. Eddie sent me a letter asking if I want to join him on a umm" she tried to figure out her words carefully. "a trip. So I'm not sure what I'm doing yet."

Minerva got up all of the sudden. "Hey Harvey, I need to head up to the castle I was suppose to meet with a professor and I'm late. I will talk to you later, Okay?" she gave a quick wave and headed towards the castle, but not realizing she left behind her parchment on the ground.

Ameliah walked towards the giant tree. It was magnificent how the tree was alive, she thought. Someone in Diagon Alley even once told her that it had a passage that led to the Shrieking Shack! She looked up and saw Harvey, another Claw, and walked over. "Hi, Harvey! Haven't seen you in a while."
