I kid you not, this is one tree you don’t want to mess with. It's best you keep a safe distance from the Whomping Willow's tree limbs or you may end up with a few broken limbs yourself.

Minerva grinned to herself. She was in a bit of pain, but wow what a rush that was. She could hear Harvey, but didn't really want to answer him. She looked up in time to see something flying at her. She rolled to her stomach as the limb hit the ground and jumped to her feet. She saw Harvey dodging limbs, so he wanted to play. She then saw one coming behind him that he didn't see she ran towards him and jumped towards him knocking both of them out of the way. She had fallen on him. She looked at him and grinned. "You ok?" knowing that it had to feel awkward to be this close to her she moved and laid down facing the sky next to him. They were far enough away from the tree that they didn't have to worry about limbs anymore. She could hear him breathing hard next to her. "Wow Harvs are you that out of shape from dodging a few limbs?"

Harvey was watching out for limbs when he saw movement ahead of him and saw Mins roll onto her stomach and get up.. he smiled and breathed a sigh of relief as he saw one coming towards him and he jumped out of its way.. he then watched that to make sure it wasnt coming towards him again. He then saw movement from the corner of his eye and saw Mins running towards him and he wondered why.. she then knocked them to the ground and he saw a limb just miss them. It was then that he noticed she was on top of him.. umm.. awkward!! she then rolled to the side and lay next to him looking at the sky asking him if he was ok "Yeah.. I.. I am fine.. thanks!.. you saved.. me. " he smiled as he looked at her "Yeah I ... guess so. I wasnt dodging limbs to practice for this day.. while you were away. " he chuckled slightly. Minerva felt herself be a bit more relaxed. She looked at the sky how pretty it was. She leaned on her side to look at Harvey. "So since I forced you to play Quidditch and then didn't keep up with my end of the deal what do I need to do to make it up to you?" She felt bad for not keeping her end of the deal. "Did you at least like playing?"

Edward.. family.. he had to remind himself.. and then he was back to his other thought.. he closed his eyes and mentally kicked himself for not trying to find out where she was,, how she was.. what if something had happened and he hadnt known cause he didnt bother to contact her.. some best friend he was.. he had proved it in the past.. and look at him now.. HIS best friend gone for months and he didnt even try to contact her.. he just lay there with his eyes closed, frowning as he went over these facts in his head. No matter how much he hated it all.. it was all true every single one. "Ok I know they are your family and stuff.. but I am finding it hard to believe that they wanna be nice and family-like all of a sudden after the summer they gave us. I just hope they dont have some other plan with you in mind" he covered his mouth.. uh oh.. what made him say that.. he didnt know!!!

Harvey looked at her as she looked at him.. he slowly put his hands down.. and listened to every word she said.. he felt bad that he had said it.. and he deserved the anger that she felt.. cause even without meaning to.. he had said everything he hadnt wanted to as he knew she would be hurt.. and that he didnt want and he wouldnt be able to see..
He then saw something fall near him he looked down it was her bracelet and he looked up just as she grabbed her back and made her way to the castle "Mins! Mins!! your bracelet is here!! MINS!!" he yelled out but to no response.. she wasnt listening to him no more.. why did he always end up hurting her?.. what had she done to him? Nothing! and yet there she was hurting again.. as always! why was she still friends with him after all that he had done.. only she could tell him that.. maybe he should ask her.. yeah that would be a good idea.. IF he could muster up the courage to ask her.. well he had to try at least.
He carefully picked up her bracelet and smiled.. it was a pretty bracelet.. he smiled a little.. he looked up to see that she had not returned.. he then looked at the bracelet again.. he ran his fingers over it as he took a closer look at it. Maybe he was wrong.. maybe they had changed.. for Mins' sake he hoped they had.. but he would always have that thought.. what IF they had NOT changed? what then? would it be another summer of looking for Mins or stopping her from doing something he would not let her do.
Only time would tell.. for now.. he would be happy that she was back and that they were still friends.. he then very carefully put the bracelet into his shirt pocket.. he would return it to its rightful owner the next time he saw her.. and he would also apologize for hurting her without meaning to.. it hurt to know that he had done that.
He looked around on the ground to make sure nothing else had fallen.. nope.. he put his hand to his shirt pocket to make sure that the bracelet was still there.. yep it was.. so he then made his way to his common room hoping to see her the next day or at least soon if not tomorrow.
So...Was he giving up, then? Giving up because she was right? Giving up because he just didn't want to argue about it anymore?
Something in Ellie told her it was the latter. Or that it was anything but the former. At least, according to Treyen. Unless she truly just didn't notice these things. Was she really so unobservant? Or was it something anyone would miss?
And, in his silence, a million similar questions flooded her mind.
In the end, though, she came to the same conclusion that she messed up his birthday. Fantastic.
Ellie, too, lay down on the ground, on her stomach, propped up by her elbows. And she tilted her head toward the earth so the blonde was very visible to her. It still wasn't fair, that she couldn't see what she looked like. She just had to believe his biased opinion on it. And who knew? Maybe she was more beautiful blonde. Or...prettier. Or pretty at all, in her opinion, because she hardly thought herself attractive on a regular basis.
"Very nice," she answered, combing her fingers through her hair. She'd decided to follow his lead, wherever it would take their conversation, because she was feeling sorry already. Very sorry. And yet, she didn't think he'd want to hear it. So following him was how she was going to show it. Her eyes probably showed it, too, if Treyen could see them.
But it probably didn't matter much.
No more arguments. No more complaints. No more words. That was a first. He thought Ellie wasn't going to let it go, especially considering she was left with so many unanswered questions.
Of course, he didn't know if she'd made a face or anything, his eyes were on the grounds, and they were staying there. Focused on whatever horizon it was he saw. There were days like today in which he didn't feel like fighting, or standing up for his point of view. Not to mention that he was making things worse by speaking. So, it was best to leave it at that. Whatever 'that' was.
His eyes did return to her once words left her lips. And all he did was smile, but he also shifted a bit and straightened up enough to kiss her forehead before returning to his former position and taking one of her soft hands.

"'ells' bells, if it isn't Ellie Stone!" Eli, the gangly purple-haired teen, declared loudly and extra super cheerfully as he popped up behind the two teens. It was as though he was purposely trying to wreck the "mood" of whatever was going on between the couple. Because he was. He wrinkled his nose at the seventh year and raised his chin a little at the taller, more handsome boy. "Lockhart." he grunted in half-greeting, half-challenge. Jealous much?
"'been looking for you all afternoon, mate. You allright, there?" This to Ellie, with genuine concern. He'd be more than happy to jinx the bloke into next week if he had been making Ellie sad. Or even just on general principle. Jealous. Much.

Even if she was the one upset with him, Ellie was always relieved when Treyen showed that he was over their argument...or seemed to be, at least. A rather large smile, considering, spread across her face as she held onto his hand. So, she didn't mess things up too too much?
With a motion of her neck, her hair flipped behind her shoulder, and she wiggled closer to her boyfriend to kiss him back. Probably on his cheek so she could whisper her apology in his ear at the same time.
...That didn't happen.
Her smile grew a bit smaller as she whipped her head around to see who called her name. Was this like a Hogwarts thing? To interrupt Treyen and Ellie when they were celebrating each others' birthdays?
The temporary blonde squinted at the head of purple hair. Eli. Then she cast a sideways glance at Treyen. She, herself, wasn't entirely sure how to respond.
With her free arm, she pushed herself into a sitting position. Treyen could do the same, Ellie didn't really care. Again, it was his birthday and he could do whatever he wanted. "I'm perfectly fine," she answered Eli, still wearing a decent sized smile. Fantastic, actually, if Treyen wasn't completely upset with her.
