I kid you not, this is one tree you don’t want to mess with. It's best you keep a safe distance from the Whomping Willow's tree limbs or you may end up with a few broken limbs yourself.
Logan laughed and blushed a bit as she messed with his hair. "Ah, it's fine. I'm used to things being...'stupid'." he said laughing. "Like my aunt, my home, my old school. Everyone at my school treated me like crap and made fun of me...my aunt, who took me in when my parents died never pays attention to me much. If she does, it's either telling me to do work or yelling at me.." he said. "So I'll be more than happy to leave." he added with a weird nervous laugh. Why'd he just tell Taylor this? Why'd he tell Taylor EVERYTHING?! He sighed and frowned.
Taylor smiled at his tiny blush but frown at the terrible childhood. "Awwww poor Logan." She reached for his hand and squeezed it, "That is terrible." She sat up and turned around. Taylor hugged him. "I'm so sorry to hear that. That is wrong on many levels." She ruffled his hair a little more, "If you ever beed to talk, i'm here for you. If you want to continue taling i will happily listern for how ever long you need." She smiled faintly at him.
Yeah. It was best if she moved fast. Treyen smiled at her and shrugged, as if saying 'it's nothing', but kept his eyes focused on her, wand ready, just in case he needed to cast another spell or something while she was...incredibly close to the tree.
And now she was just taking her time...looking at the tree. The cat was caught in no time, but he was rather interested and mighty curious about her reaction. It had seemed she was afraid of the closeness from the tree before...but now she was staring at the tree as if it was calling her somehow. Yeah, Treyen was getting nervous now.
He didn't call for her, though, he allowed Louisa to be mystified by the tree? Whatever.
As she made her way back, Treyen instantly noticed how her whole expression was changed. She was even grinning. He could start to agree with Tye about the whole 'girls are crazy' business if she changed her mood again...but she didn't. He smiled, again. "I think you've been closer than I've ever been." True. Though, didn't they have a lesson that revolved around the Whomping Willow? And they got pretty close to it? He couldn't recall.
Who told him what? About the spell? That was easy. "Stryker." And he missed him. A lot. And the chocolate-covered almonds he kept at his hut too. "He told me...and taught me the spell as well." In case it was ever necessary. Good thing Treyen knew this, it just came in handy. But..., "I think we better move farther away...it'll probably won't be too happy about being momentarily frozen." He tugged at her sleeves as he walked away from the tree. More than ten steps, by the way.
Er, what?! Blink. His eyes were on Louisa again. "What...makes you think that?" Okay. Now he knew there was something else going on. It just had to.
Now THAT made her grin shine. She was closer than he ever had been? Feeling more capable than older students never failed in lighting her mood. Even if he was the one to paralyze the tree for her. At his tugging, she followed quickly and obediently, matching his steps and peering over her shoulder to see if they were about to be grabbed and tossed in the air.
Nope. All was good. At the mention of Stryker, "Oh. Mr. Stryker. I enjoyed his dance class last term. I wasn't that familiar with him though." Looking at Treyen, her smile was small but sweet, "He must've trusted you to teach you this spell." Louisa was a girl of facts and conclusions. Not flattery or compliments. So she always said what she saw fit.
And speaking of which, she frowned at his question. The answer was... a bit lame. And childish considering that the situation happened a year and a half ago but... well, he asked. "You didn't seem that helpful to me when I asked you to help me with something previously." Her smile had totally faded now, but her face wasn't hard but questioning and a tad confused. "In fact you avoided me first but then excused yourself when I asked you something. That was not.. nice." Fixing her grip on the cat that started to fidget with her paws and purr desperately to be let loose, Louisa shrugged one shoulder then, "I think there must be a misunderstanding now." Because he actually stopped the Whomping Willow for her to get the cat, not many people would do that to strangers.
Coughing and shuffling, she did it, "Thanks." Again.

"I basically told you everything." he said laughing.

Yeah, Mr. Stryker. He forgot the 'Mr.' bit of the way he should address the staff. Granted, Stryker was entirely cool to be called 'Mr.', he even had tattoos. Awesome ones.
But, er, yeah. Treyen was pretty familiar with him, though. "Oh, we were in great terms. I miss him, actually." Meaning, they got along pretty well mainly because he hadn't threatened to turn him into a Niffler like Masterson had. Once he got to know him, then he liked him even more.
Now, he cared more for what she had to say in regards to his previous question. And he did NOT see that coming. Help her? When? He blinked repeatedly while she spoke. If possible, he was even more confused now. "That...doesn't really sound like me." At all, because if he couldn't help someone then he'll give them the reason for why he couldn't and most definitely find someone that could. So, really, it was pretty odd. "You've never asked for my help, actually." He'd always offered it. Even during the sock-sliding in the grounds scene.
And...her thanks? Yeah, he nodded once. "It's no problem at all."

Louisa gave Treyen a quick sympathetic smile, that probably went unnoticed. They were still walking away from the tree when Treyen said the most confusing and weird thing ever. Louisa stopped and put her arm out for him to stop as well, "Excuse me?" She put on a nervous smile, trying to make sense, "You're telling me that it wasn't you the same Treyen I encountered the term before last in the courtyard and followed him to help me with my homeowork?" Shaking her head at this, she added, "I asked Dallin. He was the one to admit that it was you, his Hufflepuff Prefect friend." How many male Prefects were there at the time? "We were right here." Dallin and herself at that, they were doing one of their fun adventures that he made her addict to. So the memory was carved into her head, there was no way anyone, even the Head Boy himself, who'd question the memory.
Frowning slightly at this, the girl looked down at her cat and started scratching behind her ears absently, "You don't have to deny it, anyway. I'm not looking for an apology or anything. I'm just saying you didn't have to push away a third year student. It wasn't polite." Viola gave a small yawn then and started licking the girl's hand, it was always irritating to her owner and bought her freedom from such unnecessary clutch. But Louisa didn't let go and just stared at the boy in front of her, craving an answer. A true sensible and comforting answer.

Vlimia walked slowly towards the Whomping Willow - not too close, but close enough to admire it. She picked up her thick book about dragons, and proceeded to read. Once she had gotten to the next chapter, Scale Rot, she closed the book and looked at the odd tree. Vlim idly wondered how it moved like that without a spell on it. She would ask that in Herbology. "You are a great friend too." Taylor smiled, "Ok but if you need anyone to talk to anytime about anything you know where to find one." She laughed. She laid back down beside him and put her arms behind her head, "Though the finding might be tough." Taylor smirked up at him.

And he stopped. Or she made him stop. The result was altogether the same.
Wait, what? Treyen would surely remember that. "I've never seen you at the Courtyard before." And you could see he was telling the truth and being entirely honest about this. His face had the most confused expression ever. At the mention of Dallin, however, the Head Boy looked away. ACTUALLY, he couldn't remember what him and Louisa had talked about, which was incredibly funny considering he they were talking about memories and stuff, at least he remembered what they did. Once she said 'here', he frowned.
Did she ever ask him about himself while he was Dallin? That was the worst part of it all, he couldn't even remember that!
"Yeah, I was the Hufflepuff Prefect two terms ago." He was still frowning, and mostly thinking about that Polyjuice Potion day. Treyen wasn't mentioning that to Louisa, though, he didn't know if he should.
He was totally agreeing with her, by the way, it was certainly rude. But she was expecting him to say something. "I...," well, he didn't know what to say, "I'm entirely sorry, though, but I don't recall meeting you in the Courtyard...however, I do agree, it's entirely rude to act that way." And very much unlike him. It had to be Dallin avoiding her.
"Is that why...you're not nice to me?" Just a thought.

"Thanks!" Logan said. "Okay." he said smiling, laying down next to her and looking up at the clouds. He felt a weird...pain or something in his chest. He missed his parents now that he had just mentioned them. He wished he had them right here, right now to comfort him. But he didn't. They were dead and now he felt alone, even though Taylor was right next to him. He felt a few tears come down his cheek and he wiped them away angrily.

Taylor sat up, tired of laying down. To have something to do, she digged through her bag. She glanced at Logan just at the sec to catch him wiping some tears away. Taylor stopped shifting through her bag and went to sit at Logan's head. SHe lifted his head and put it on her lap and started to stroke his hair like he did to her a little bit ago. Taylor quietly sang a lullaby, not directing to Logan, but just singing.

He just raised an eyebrow. Men showing up was weird. He shrugged his shoulders. "That makes sense." For all he knew, maybe that was actually why they didn't show up. Then again, it could just have something to do with the girl.
Sammy smiled at her when she said she watched movies. What muggle child didn't though? He smiled wider though when she said she watched Batman and Superman movies. "Really? I haven't met a lot of girls that enjoy that stuff." Aside from Adeline, he hadn't met any girls that enjoyed that stuff. "I never really did that. We have a video game system though." He couldn't remember what kind though because he didn't play it that much.
"Batman. Definitely." There was no contest whatsoever.
"Well, if we don't find it today, I'll remember to bring them the next time we look." Anya said. And yes. She said 'we', this was every bit her adventure too.
Why?
Because she told him about the tunnel.
"Oh. It's probably because I have an older brother. Every summer he was home he fit a years worth of muggle stuff into his schedule." And since she liked spending time with her brother... she watched all the same movies.
"And my best friend is a boy. So that probably helps too." Maybe they knew each other?
She smiled. "That's one I know!" Which meant they could talk about it.
"I have a question. Do you read the ones from forever ago?" The ones that the Americans made during that war more than a century ago. "Or are there new ones?"
She didn't quite know how comic books worked.

We huh? "So I'm guessing you're not gonna stop looking until you find it either, right?" From what she was saying, that's how it seemed. "I just hope we don't get in trouble or anything if we do find it." Sammy figured that was a very high possibility though.
Okay. That made sense. She hadn't watched them of her own free will. Her brother made her. "Makes sense." He raised his eyebrow at the best friend comment. "Really?" He guessed it wasn't that weird. Adeline was one of his closest friends and she definitely wasn't a girl.
He laughed at Anya's excitement. Maybe girls weren't so bad...
Sammy smiled at her question. "Both. I own most of the more recent ones, but my cousin Wally collects comics so he has a lot of the really old ones in the house." Which were the ones he took. Which were also the ones he got in trouble for taking.

That's not what he was saying!
"I...didn't mean you were." He said, shaking his head. "I'm not making them up either." He was just failing to remember if she'd mentioned something to him about himself while they were on the grounds that one time. So, really, he wasn't making anything up, because there was nothing in his mind to make up. Easy. And completely logical.
When she said that something wasn't right, though, he started to bite his lip. Louisa WAS right. And he had the feeling he knew WHY things weren't right. And...Dallin wasn't here, he kind of needed Dallin to BE here.
Treyen was completely lost in thought that he barely managed to listen to her next question. And...without giving it much thought, he answered, "No, Dallin was the only one who had for a while," for an hour, to be more precise, "But he returned it...when...," yes? He added nothing else. "No, no Hufflepuff had it." Not that he recalled anyway. And now he seriously needed to have a word with his Patronus instructor.
His eyes widened almost immediately after she spoke again. Louisa thought he was mean? But that...actually made sense if one considered what she'd previously said. "I...kind of don't think I am." Not really. He was mean to whoever deserved it. Like Tye. And...well, he'd apologized to Adeline, she didn't deserve it.
WHAT?!
Blink. He took a few steps back. The look of disbelief in his eyes was inevitable. Irritated by his ego?! Oh, for Merlin's sake! She probably pictured him as an entirely different person than the one he actually was. "What?!" His thoughts left his mind, it seemed, since he spoke them. Yet he chuckled, and started to shake his head, "That's...I don't believe it." He was more speaking to himself than replying to Louisa, clearly.

Taylor hugged him when he hugger her. She held him, rocking a little as he cried into her chest. Taylor stroked his hair and rubbed his back. She didn't know what to say or what to do. Poor Logan, he has it tough. She attempted a try at speaking after a few minutes, "Logan all will be ok.... you probably are tired of hearing it but they are in a better place...... I can't say i know how you feel exactly, but i do know how it is to have lost one of your parents...." She didn't add though mine returned. Taylor hoped that what she said wouldn't make him mad or annoyed or worse....

DALLIN? When.. what? Louisa held on to that string, basically because it had Dallin in it. "When he.. what? Treyen, are you hiding something?" Because he was doing a bad job at it, she thought. And then her mind worked once again, "Why would Dallin take your badge though? I don't think he fancies Prefectness." She smiled at this, feeling the laid-backness and laziness of her close friend. He was lucky to have those sometimes, she knew she needed them so much this year.
...and he was shaking his head and stepping away from her. Louisa immediately put down Viola, who was more than happy to curl up in a ball and sleep on a solid ground instead of dangling in midair. Louisa looked sheepishly at the Head Boy, "Listen, I don't mean to be rude. I just answer whenever somebody asks me something." Her tone was neutral but you could sense a hint of being sorry in it. "I mean, I know now that there's something wrong with that day because obviously you're not mean or... attention grabber as I thought you were." Ahem. "Helping me with the Whomping Willow outgrows the homework thing." A nervous smile made its way to her lips, "I'm actually starting to believe that it wasn't you at all. Wait a minute..." She held out a finger alerted, "That day. At the courtyard, you knew my name! Even before I introduced myself. I was confused because we've never met before." Her eyes were the size of a golf ball as she stared at him, "How do you know my name?" Because she'd NEVER told him herself. Dallin told her Treyen's name though so she was on a clean slate.

Logan felt much better as she rocked him, stroked his hair, rubbed his back and spoke to him. It all made him feel a lot better. He stopped crying and looked up at her and smiled. "I think I need to go rest in the dorm. Thanks for...just for everything." he said. He was quite tired. "I'll see you around.." he said, giving her a little kiss on the cheek and then he walked back to the castle.

Oh! She had thought that she had annoyed the girl, but now she seemed okay, so she could stay. YAY! She would get to make a new friend now during her last year at Hogwarts. :3 Everything was so amazing. "What part are you at?" she asked curiously. She liked talking about books she enjoyed. ESPECIALLY TWILIGHT!
Sitting down on the grass, she smiled as she started to play with some of the blades. "Pleasure. So what House are you in?

Taylor smiled, "Anytime." She blushed when he gave her a little kiss on the cheek and watched him go back to the castle. Taylor gathered her things and held back to her own dorm.
