Maxwell watched as Taylor tried to place the rock where it needed to be. "Here, like this." He said pulling his wand, looking toward the stone and muttering "Wingardium Leviosa!" He used one hand to still the other as the stone floated through the air gently. "Careful, careful now." He said quietly. He placed the stone down directly on the rock and then... it fell off. "Crap! i was so close." Maxwell laughed as he excepted defeat. "You wanna try again?" He asked Taylor.

Tay watched as Maxwell moved the rock to the place was suppose to be.... then watched it fall off. Taylor chuckled a little when he laughed at himself, "That was very close." She thought about it for a few seconds, "Sure." She pointed her wand, "Wingardium Leviosa!" The rock floated in the air a few inches off the ground, trembling a little. She moved it to the right a little but it dropped before she could place it on the place. Tay laughed at herself.

Maxwell smiled and watched as Taylor tried again. He gave her a half smile when she had failed. "I'll try again." He said then using the levitation charm he made the stone float he kept it remarkably steady this time around but lost control when he was very close and the stone went flying at the tree, awaking and angering it, luckily they were far enough away to escape it's wrath, all Maxwell had to say at that point was "Woops"

Taylor bursted out giggling when MAxwell hit the tree and woke it. It was oblivious that the poor tree was angery. "I don't think the williow likes that." She smiled at him. "We are just lucky that it can't hit us right now." Tay sent a glance over at the tree then looked back at Maxwell, with humor in her eyes.

Maxwell laughed at his own mistake in good humor. "Why do you think i sat so far back?" Maxwell asked as he laughed, it was more a rhetorical question than anything. "Your turn." He said happily.

"My turn?" Taylor glanced at the angered tree then back at Maxwell, "With an angry tree?" Tay laughed and smiled, "I guess i will try." Taylor pointed her wand again, and repeated the spell. The rock lifted a few inches off the ground. She focused a little more, and the rock lifted a little higher and didnt shake... as much. Tay got the rock over to the place where it is suppose to be at when she lost focus. The rock dropped to the ground and her arm dropped. She rubbed her head a little bit and then looked at Maxwell. Smiling, she said, "Your turn."

Maxwell smiled "Good Try." He said happily. He got the stone into the air, he had an idea so he used it, he let the stone gain velocity then stopped supporting it, it hit the tree but not as hard as the last time. Then it slid down the roots, bounced and landed perfectly on the spot. "Yes!" Maxwell said putting both hands in the air in triumph.

Tay smiled and clapped when he got it perfectly on the spot. She hugged him without thinking, "Congrats!" Taylor laughed. "It looks and is really hard to do it." Tay was happy. She glanced at the tree.

Maxwell blushed quite a bit when Taylor hugged him then he said "Try again!" Maxwell said encouraging Taylor with a smile.

Tay tried to hide the grimace that threaten to show. She had gotton a headache from trying to focus a lot the last time she did it.... but she didnt want Maxwell to worry or be upset so she nodded, "Ok." Taylor raised her wand again. Tay said the charm again and the rock leviated. Her hand shook slightly. The rock landed half on and half off. She held back a cry in pain when the headache came back. Taylor had no clue why she was having headaches. She looked over at Maxwell and shrugged, "Almost." Tay laughed and smiled.

"No, not almost something's wrong." Maxwell said realizing all was not well with Taylor. "Have a seat." He said offering his hand to help her sit on the grass. "Are you feeling all right?" Maxwell asked concerned.

Taylor would of argued about sitting but she did as she was told, talking his hand to sit down. "I just have a.... slight headache." Tay grimaced, "But it will fade soon." She smiled at him, letting go of his hand after she had sat. Hearing the concern in his voice, she said, "You shouldnt worry."

"Ok, i won't make a fuss." Maxwell said honestly. "We can sit until you feel better." Maxwell was still concerned but tried harder not to show it. "I'll do my best not to worry, but no promises." Maxwell smiled at Taylor sweetly.

Tay smiled at Maxwell, "I'll be fine... I just need a bit of time." After having her head in her hands for a few minutes of complete silence, she finally raised it. Her headache was gone for now, "See? Much better. Told you there was nothing to worry about." Tay stuck her tongue out at him and laughed a little. Taylor was going to refuse to do the spell or any spell for that matter for the rest of the day though. She stayed on the ground and looked up at him, back to smiling.

"Ok, as long as you're all right." Maxwell was happy to see she was all right, with all of the issues with Violet and Josephine, Maxwell was a little worried. "So ho did Logan come to be known as 'the monkey'?" Maxwell asked not trying as hard to conceal his disliking for Logan. Maxwell wasn't sure why but he didn't care for the other boy, maybe it as just out of association with Ariana's arch rival, he wasn't sure.

Taylor was wondering why he would bring up Logan but shrugged it off and started the story since he asked, "Well I went over to his house one day and while we waited for Cardigan to show up we scared his housekeeper and hanged out in his bedroom. After she showed up and the introductions were done, we handed outside. We decided to hike since Cardigan and i didnt have swimming suits with us. On the hike he climbed a tree and reminded me of a monkey and so i called him it. It sort of stuck..." Taylor trailed off and didnt said the other reasons behind the name. She had noted his dislike of Logan when he asked and the day they met, "If you dont mind me asking.... why do you dislike him?" Taylor looked up at MAxwell.

Maxwell looked slightly shocked then he sighed. "I'm not too sure to be honest, i just don't. Maybe it's because of on incident that happened with my friend Ariana and he and Cardigan and I." Maxwell said in a very calm voice. "It was January and i simply threw a snowball at Cardigan and they just assumed that it meant something or like i was some kinda jerk." Maxwell left out the part about Cardigan being a jerk to Ariana and them wanting to take vengeance, Ariana could bring out the worst in Maxwell if he let her. "But it's not a big deal. I mean i don't know him well, maybe.... maybe i could learn to like him." Maxwell said only half the statement being true.

Taylor laughed, "Are you serious?" She shook her head, "That is so stupid of them." Tay shrugged, "I don't think Logan is worth trying to learn how to like him." She rolled her eyes, "Unless of course you do want to learn." Tay laughed. She barely talked to Logan anymore.... they drifted apart after what happened a few months ago here.... She sighed out loud without realizing it.

"I was just never a fan of his, i was only willing to because i thought you were friends with him. I mean He's friends with Ariana's arch enemy. Ariana's like my sister, I don't care if he is in my house if he supports Cardigan then he opposes Ariana." Maxwell said as if it were an election or a war. Hearing Taylor sigh Maxwell asked "What's wrong?"

Taylor smiled sweetly, "You are very kind indeed to be willing to just because you thought i was friends with him though i dont expect peopleto be friends wiht anyone they dont want to be friends with." Tay laughed, "I was friends with him but i dont know now... we havent spoken since the day i met you..." She trailed off and when he asked what was wrong she glanced up, "I was just thinking of what happened here a few months ago... its no big deal."

"What happened?" He asked hearing the rest but making no comment, if Logan did a think to hurt or upset Taylor Maxwell wasn't going to forget it.

Taylor replied, "I said it was nothing." She rolled her eyes and laughed, "He just made the friendship a little awakard... I mean we were close friends and he said i was like the sister he never had then one time when we were here, he kissed me three times, making things uncomfortable and we started to talk less and less until finally we stopped talking or at least not had the time to talk since the day i met you." Tay waved it off like it was nothing though it was sad to lose a friend... though it was awakard being around him. "Told you it was nothing." She stuck out her tongue at him.

Maxwell was livid, but showed no signs of anger. He fought himself harder than he though possible trying to keep his eyes from turning red. He wasn't angry at Taylor, no he was angry with Logan. If Maxwell wasn't sure on his feelings before, he was now. "Yeah you're right it's nothing." He said doing his best to play it cool, but on the inside he had a fire of anger and jealousy roaring so loudly, like that of a dragon's belly he feared that if he kept his mouth open too long flames might fly out... ok he realized he as being silly. but nothing good would come of it. He took a deep breath silently and changed the subject. "So what are the grounds like at Beauxbatons?" He said rather casually.

Taylor smiled when he changed the subject. "The grounds of Beauxbaton? Well there was gardens, ponds, trees, and a fountain. It wasnt much though, just mostly gardens. There were statues here and there..." Taylor trailed off as she thought back to her old school. "It was beautiful..." She said that last part a little airly.

Maxwell was delighted to see the subject change without a hitch, that meant he controlled his emotions and his eyes stayed their normal brown. "Sounds wonderful, my little sister is starting there in the fall, any advise for her?" Maxwell asked still a little excited about his own self control.
