Cardigan was scared.She was traumatized.She just needed someone to tell her everything was okay.Not Logan,because that would make her cry even more.Maybe....Vlimia!!!But,that made her cry even more because she hadn't seen Vlimia in forever.She had to stop and talk some sense into herself.So,Cardigan rolled up into a ball on the ground,rocking back and forth while singing some of her new favorite song to herself to help."She's all laid up in bed with a broken heart,While i'm drinking jack all alone in my local bar.And we don't know how we got into this mad situation,Only doing things out of frustration.Trying to make it work but man these times are hard,"But sadly,it didn't help.It just reminded her of her current situation and made her cry more.She was the girl laid up in bed with a broken heart.She was done through.With a tearful sigh,she stood up and walked into the castle.Cleanup time!

Yes good call there Jenkins. It looked as though Medea had not seen the Whomping Willow as yet. "Don't worry, it's pretty quiet during the night time." Unless you drive a car into it that is.

Oliver had an internal snicker at the way she said Willy's name. He was so going to have to use that on his friend. But he chuckled at Medea's question and nodded his head, as they made their way outside. "Yeah he does." It was how the two of them met way back when they were ickle first years. Although William insists that the Glumbumble he sent was for someone else. "And it only gets worse the more you get to know him. If he starts sending you the more dangerous creatures, you'll know he likes you." His friend was weird like that

The walk didn't take that long at all and before he knew it they were standing in front of the Willow. "This is where I spent a lot of my time at Hogwarts." He gestured to a spot on the ground that was invisible to the eye. "Walk past that point and you'll be within reach of the Willow's branches and you do not want that." Oliver was pretty sure that the name of the tree was self explanatory. "Of course Waylon, always forgot where the spot was. Couldn't tell you how many times William and I had to save him." He gave her a sideways glance and wondered if he was boring her.

How comforting...

With thoughts of whomping trees aside, she grinned and nodded to process this new information, looking down at the path they were following. Unusual and dangerous creatures for gifts. "Haven't quite gotten there yet." she lightly chuckled, looking back up and around. "Don't think I vont to actually." A puppy was enough for her. He could send all the catnip he wanted with it.

So, it really was a tree.

Looking up to the waving branches as if there were a small breeze passing through, it was quite hard to tear her gaze away to see where Oliver was pointing to. Mental note to never cross that little piece of grass there. "Why..." Merlin's beard. "I mean, vot is it's purpose here?" A tree that whomps. She was getting close to seeing pretty much everything now. If only a pig could fly by then.

Oliver bent down and picked up a handful of pebbles and rolled them in his hand. "William's a good guy. I may give him crap and embarrass him but he's like a brother to me." He grinned at her before stepping back and juggling the pebbles. "He means no harm."

He stopped juggling the pebbles and turned towards the tree. He found the spot and with careful aim he threw the pebble at the knot on the tree, causing it to freeze. "It was put here over a hundred years ago. There's an underground passage you see and it leads to the Shrieking Shack in Hogsmeade." He paused for a moment just as the tree began to move again. Oliver turned back to Medea. "And it housed a student who turned into a werewolf once a month. The Whomping Willow was for his protection as well as the other students."

See that Dash, Oliver knew his history.

"Obviously you didn't have anything like this at your school?"

Ella headed down to the Whomping Williow with a blanket and the book her mother had given her for Christmas. She set the blanket on the ground a good distance away from the deadly tree, not wanting to provoke it. Sitting down with a sigh, Ella made herself comfortable and pulled the book open, eager for a distraction. What better way to get away from your life than to get lost in a book? She began reading, willing her thoughts to stop for long enough so she could get into the story.

Logan walked down to the Whopming Willow, feeling very bored. He had absolutely nothing to do today, and didn't want that. Not one bit. As he walked, he spotted Ella sitting a bit away from the tree. He grinned, and very quietly, made his way behind her. He quietly put his arms around her and whispered in her ear: "Boo." and couldn't help but giggle...

Ella felt arms around her and grinned, trying not to laugh. "Not again." she moaned, turning to face Logan. "You're way too good at this sneaking up on people thing!" She said, putting down her book and patting the empty spot on the blanket next to her. "Sit with me?" She asked with a smile. She definitely wouldn't mind some company and who better than Logan?

Logan grinned as Ella turned to face him. He laughed. "That's just me. I'm sneaky." he said, giving a little bow. He then smiled. "Course I will." he said, taking a spot next to her.

"You sure are sneaky." Ella said, giggling. "So what's going on, Mister?" she asked with a smile.

Logan grinned and slowly lied down on his back and sighed. "Ohh nothing. School. Hanging around. Being booooooored. Well until I got here..The usual." he said chuckling. "Yourself?" he asked, looking at her.

She would just have to take Oliver's word for it, though she was still skeptical. Medea was not used to these types of acts. Yet anyhow. "Maybe next time he could relieve his dog before sending him to my office." Just a little piece of info to pass along.

Watching curiously as the pebble flew towards the tree, she had to stare and wait for a second to realize that the branches were not swaying anymore. It's purpose was actually surprising. She was anticipating just the idea of having never taken it down because it's unique beauty. "The shrieking shack?" she questioned, glancing his way.

"Oh, no. Nothing quite like...this." Not enough room. "We did have a plum orchard though. It was the popular place to hang out in, regardless of the season."

"I'll be sure to tell him that." Merlin's pants!! He meant it when he said that William was like a brother to him but his friend could be such a knob at times. Who sends their pet to go and pee in a pretty lady's office.

Only William.

Oliver dropped the other two pebbles that he was holding and wiped his hands on his jeans. "It's a little place just outside of the village. It's said to be the most haunted building in Hogsmeade. But of course it wasn't ghosts making those noises..."

"Sounds nice." And it did. Oliver liked fruit trees. They were good for making runes. "They used to have an orchard here once." He shrugged his shoulders and smiled. "The grounds never stay the same for too long. Always something new comes along. Except for the lake. That's always the same. Have you been down to see it yet?"

Cody heard a familiar voice from behind. It was Jade's of course. "I'm not thinking of anything", he answered. "I'm just tired", he said yawning.

Ella lay down next to Logan on her back, resting her had next to his. "Oh me...well I've just been reading...and reading...and reading." She said with a half-hearted laugh. "I've also been missing you." She added shyly. Though they saw eachother often, Ella felt like they hadn't really talked in a while. "Is that silly?" She asked sheepishly, turning to look him in the eyes. "I know it's not like we haven't seen eachother in ages or anything but it feels like it, with classes and everything."

Cody did look tired. "You do look tired," Jade said. "I'm a bit tired as well," Jade added as she rested her head on his shoulder.

Logan smiled as Ella lay next to him. He took her hand in his and looked at her as she spoke. "Ah...reading. It's quite nice....at times.." Logan said chuckling. He then smiled. "I've been missing you as well." he said, squeezing her hand a little. He then shook his head. "No, it's not silly at all." he said. "That's totally how I think it too..." he said.

Ella blushed a little when Logan grabbed her hand. She smiled at his reading comment. "At times..." she said giggling. "It's great all the time!" She then let out a relieved sigh when he said he felt the same. It was nice to be missed. "I'm glad you think so." She said cheerfully. "So, any new run-ins with the creatures from the forest? Hope those spiders have stayed away." She said, nudging his shoulder.

"Eh. Not when you're like studying reading..." he said. "Yuck." he said, sticking his tongue out and giggling. He then smiled at her. "I'm glad you think so too." he said with a wink. He then laughed. "Thankfully, no." he said. "You?" he asked.

Ella rolled her eyes as Logan continued on about reading. She loved to read, a bookworm at heart, and couldn't really complain. She burst out laughing when he stuck out his tongue, smiling widely at him. She was relieved to hear he hadn't encountered any more giant spiders. "Good. I haven't either...thank merlin!" She smiled, thinking of something, and turned to Logan. "Just because we're scared of spiders doesn't mean Candyman and Gummy girl have to be. I mean, maybe they can be braver than us."

"Yes. Thank merlin indeed." Logan said with a smile. He then listened to what she said and nodded slowly. "You're right. They can!" he said, thinking it over and then laughing. "But maybe candyman can't..." he joked.

Adeline walked along the beautiful grounds of Hogwarts. She smiled. It was nice to be out and about for the first time in a long time. She's more of a indoor person but she loves nature all the same. Adeline looked at the tree that she had heard so much about. She was partly afraid knowing that the tree has a mind of it's own. Tree's should not have minds at all. A tree being able to move at it's own will is just strange but that's the muggle talking her. It's just gotta be the muggle talking in her. If it isn't then she doesn't belong at Hogwarts at all.

Arabella-Marie walked down to one of her favourite places in the grounds and saw a first year looking at the tree and said "Hi the tree is only dangerous if you get too close to it"

Enya tightened her grip on her wand once more, god could this boy - yes she'd called him a BOY - could he get anymore annoying? What was his problem? Was he like jealous of her or something? "You know what? I don't actually care what you have to say, I don't even know you" She said forcefully taking a step away from him, why was she even bothering?

Lifting the corner's of her mouth she smiled, even if it didn't reach her eyes, "Happy?" She asked giving him a look. Argh. Why was she doing what he said? As she said before she didn't even know him but now he was moaning. Will he shut up? "No you can't, you started this mess it's all your fault" She gave his chest another poke while she was at it.

"Who are you anyway?" She then asked.

Isla sighed as she walked slowly down towards the Whomping Willow. What a stupid name for a tree. Whomping. She seriously hated that word. There was something about it when it was spoken out loud that sent some form of chill through her that just made her shiver. She was just odd like that at times. She brushed a hand back through her mane of dark hair, curled to perfection as always, she couldn't go anywhere without making sure that her hair looked good. It was her one big weakness.

She moved and perched nearby, pulling out one of her books and opening it up. She blinked a little and sighed, tilting her head as she flicked through the pages slowly.

Ella laughed as Logan said candyman would still be scared of spiders. She sat up frowning at him. "He can't?" She said, inching closer. "Is poor old candyman afraid of the scary spiders..." she said, teasing. She moved her fingers like the legs of a spider and began to tickle Logan. "Oh no! Here they come!" she laughed, continuing to tickle him.
