They were so close. Close enough that if she leant her head inwards, just a fraction of an inch, their lips would be touching, but no. She wasn't going to kiss him, that was just gross. Enya tightened her grip round her wand and quickly eye'd the one that the guy now held. She realized then she didn't actually know who the guy was, well nothing changes there. "Threaten me all you want, It wont work" She glared yet more daggers at him. If looks could kill then he wouldn't be standing there right now.

Couldn't he just leave her alone? Argh. She had done NOTHING wrong, he had started the whole thing! Who did he think he was!? "You look...," She eye'd him up and down, "I think I might throw up" She finished before looking into his eyes again. Truth be told she found him seriously attractive and it was taking all her will to not grab hold of him and kiss him full on the mouth. Name or no name!

But she held on, she wasn't going to back down.

Cardigan walked,er,ran,around outside.She was hyper excited because she really wanted to show someone her Violin,which she of course had right at the moment.It was her favorite christmas present she had gotten of all time!Of course,it was from Liesel.Her parents literally never ever got her anything.Cheapskates,she thought about her parents with a scowl as she hopped around,looking for someone to play her Violin for.And guess who she found??Logan Floyd,her musical bestie!!!!Why does he always appear when I need him most?She rhetorically asked herself as she bounded over to her friend."`ello friend!!!I have something to show you!"Cardigan said excitedly as she held her Violin firmly in her hands,interupting his singing and Guitar playing.But whatevs.She was too hyper excited to care.She had the perfect song(which was also the only one she really knew).

"Around school," Paulie answered with a shrug. She was in his year, after all. He had heard of her from Louisa, of course. And Joao himself, come to think of it..

Good? 'Paulie' is 'good'? Well, 'Paulie' was certainly way better of a name than 'good' could describe, but he decided that she just didn't share his enthusiasm for his splendid name. She gave a final smile, to which he replied with a nod. "Good, then."

But, her smile dissipated and her stare lingered. Was it something he said? "Well, you and Joao are having lovers' rendezvous things, right? So, yeah. That's what I'm on about." He paused to think for a moment. "Not that I'm accusing you, 'cause I doubt Joao informed you that he was dating Louisa. Stupid git," he mumbled. He shifted his weight to his other leg and messed up his hair a bit.

Logan stopped playing as someone said 'ello friend'. He smiled as he recognized the voice. "Heya Car!" he said. "You do? What is it?" he asked, then he looked at the violin Cardigan held out and gasped. "Car, that is wicked!!" he said. "We need to play together sometime!" he said, gesturing to his guitar.

"I know right!Why yes totally!But that's not all,"Cardigan squealed with delight.She still had to play her song!Well,it wasn't her song,but it was the only one she knew.But she had that song down pat;could play it from memory backwards and forwards!I know,I know:she had it since Christmas and she's a quick learner,but have you ever tried mastering a muggle song on a muggle instrument when you're a Pureblood?Not very likely."I have to play this song for you!I don't know if you know it or not though,"Cardigan said with a wink as she sat down and began to play the song.Oh yeah.He totally knew it.

"Not all? What else?" he asked laughing. "You do?" he asked. "Okay, play away!" he said grinning. He then listened to her play and the a smile formed on his face. Oh, oh yeah he knew that song. He laughed. "I love that song.." he said quietly, looking up at the sky for a bit and then at Cardigan. "You're real good!" he said. "How long did it take to learn that?" he asked.

"Oh thanks,"Cardigan said,blushing quite a bit.She still wasn't that used to all those positive comments and such.If you were in her family,you wouldn't even be used to Goodnights!I mean,Come on,who doesn't say goodnight to a toddler who dreams of toes being cut off by a Saw?!?!?!Well,she's not a toddler anymore,but her parents still never did."Umm...a few weeks I think,"Cardigan said as she thought a bit.She wasn't sure if it was 3 weeks or 4 weeks.Eh,she'd just go with 3 to make her look better.

Oh, whatever. Evelyn was way too tired anyway. She really didn't want to continue that line of conversation. She brushed her hair back from her face and place her book next to her. Looked like she wasn't going to get any reading done now..

Jeez. He still didn't look happy, did her? Did he expect her to jump across the grounds and yell that she loved the name 'Paul'? Huh, no. Thank you very much.

Evelyn's widened in surprise when he said the next few words. Lovers' rendezvous? EW. That was just..EWWWW. "Okay. Let me get this cleared up, Paulie. We weren't having any rendezvous things, understand?" She couldn't believe someone actually thought that..ugh. "I've met him a couple of times and that's all there is to it." Ahhh. Louisa again. She kept popping up all the time, didn't she? "Well, even if Marcy--I mean, even if Joao was single, I wouldn't be interested..so, Louisa can be happy." Evelyn had absolutely no idea why she added the last sentence. It was rude. "Huh..not that Joao isn't a nice guy..but I--" Evelyn could feel her face heating up with embarrassment. Yeah, it would be better if she just stopped talking. She clammed her mouth shut and turned to look at the Whomping Willow.

"I wasn't threatening," he snapped. Stupid girl. James stuffed his wand back in his robes, folding his arms across his chest, knocking her finger out of the way. He narrowed his eyes on the crest on her clothes. She was a Ravenclaw? Maybe that's where he'd seen her? He glared right back at her. James ran a hand through his already messy hair, messing it up some more, all the while, giving her the evil eye. If she was gonna look at him like that he would look at her right back with the same if-looks-could-kill look.

Wow, how kind she was. "Gee, thanks." James hissed, curling up his lip in disgust. And suddenly he wasn't so keen on standing quiet so close to her. He took an obvious step back. If he squinted and made her go all blurry she wasn't so pretty. But he knew he was pretty so it didn't really make much of a difference. He pointed up at swinging branch. He ducked. "Mind the branch." He wasn't going to help any more!

Rose walked down to the lake, smiling, waving her wand at random things to practise levitation. She had to be careful not to whack anyone, which she was, as she'd get in trouble. And she was NOT being killed again. Well, she hadn't been destroyed this term, but... You never know, fate had to get her at some point. This was just too good an opportunity.

She sat down away from the tree, watching its arms move around, levitating objects about. She wasn't going anywhere near that tree, nuh-uh, it was dangerous.

"Wow.." Logan said. "Only a few weeks?" he asked. "That's pretty cool!" he said, smiling.

Logan spotted Rose, and waved her over to come sit with Cardigan and him. He smiled. He liked Rose, she was real nice. And...the more the merrier. He chuckled. Maybe they could start a band-Logan the guitarist, Cardigan on the violin, and Rose singing.

"It still took like an hour each day!"Cardigan said,shrugging.Okay.So maybe she is good.But not THAT good.She still had to practice practice practice.Sigh.What she really wanted,right there and then,was the sheet music for the song she was currently working on called Set Fire To The Rain by Adele.Why can't music just,come to her?!?!?!

"That's good, that means you're putting a lot of effort into it. And it really paid off!" he said gesturing to her violin and grinning. "So do you know any other songs?" he asked.

"Only a few.But,I think it's better than knowing a lot of songs but choppily,"Cardigan said,shaking her hand the so-so way.She knew like only around 3,4 and 5 but she knew 'em well.If she was actually good at something,maybe her parents would actually like her!Well,if they would even take the time to listen to her play...

Logan nodded. "Yeah." he said. "So, are there any songs you want to learn?" he asked.

"Well,not any songs really at the moment,but I definately have a few artists who's songs I wanna learn,"Cardigan said with a nod.She wanted to learn some Adele,Rhianna,and maybe some Christina Perri.But the weird thing is all those artists are 'sappy love artists'.Meh meh.At least they're good and have good songs!

"What artists?" Logan asked.

"Ummm........some Adele,Rhianna,Michael Jackson,And...."Cardigan said,wearing a look of deep thought and consideration as she thought of some more artist.Hmmm....who else was awesome enough for the privledge of having their song played by her?Hmm...I wonder...

Enya watched as the guy put away his wand but she didn't move her hand, she was going to keep hold of her's in case he sprung any kind of trap or spell at her. She wasn't that stupid, pfft, she gave him a knowing smile and opened her mouth to say something but her took that moment to step back from her. Ah here it was the trap or quick movement that will cause her to land on her back, she was going to be ready.

"Your welcome" She shot back just a sarcastically giving him a tight smile, she kept her eyes on him and a tight grip on her wand. But then he ducked, she was confused at first, what was he playing at? but then she saw the branch heading her way. She had just a second to duck herself and felt a few strands of her precious hair being pulled from her head. Ouch. She gave the guy a glare and was tempted to just jink him now for not warning her of the branch

"What are you playing at!?" She demanded moving her wand a little towards him.

Rose grinned and saw Logan waving her over, so ran up to him and sat down next to him. 'Howdy!' she smiled at him, before turning to the girl that was sat there. 'Hey there, I'm Rose Deluise!' she smiled, holding out her hand. A new girl, hm... Maybe it was this Jacket person, or, NO, CARDIGAN, THAT WAS IT! Anyway, maybe it was her!

"That's awesome!" he said. "Michael Jackson is amazing.." he said smiling. "...and? Who else?" he asked.

Logan laughed. "Heyy!" he said, hugging her. He then saw her turn to Cardigan. He smiled.

"Nice to meet you Rose!I'm Cardigan,"Cardigan said with a grin.Rose seemed like a very nice girl.Hopefully Rose was.She had met far too many mean people.But,she had a feeling that Rose wouldn't be like that.Not at all.After all,Logan seemed to like her a lot,so she must be like,awesome!

Cardigan simply nodded in agreement.After all,never tell a lie!"Umm....I dunno....,"She said,thinking even harder.She didn't really know who else's songs she wanted to learn at the moment that were in 'the folder' Liesel had sent with the Violin.There wasn't ever really enough time for her to flip through the whole folder,so Cardigan had just flipped through the front of The Folder which had just happened to have Adele's songs,Rhianna's songs,and Michael Jackson's songs in the front in that exact order.Weird huh?

Logan nodded. "Okay." he said. "So are you basically just learning like...songs by artist to play on the violin? Any like...orchestra-ish type songs?" he asked.

"Thats what I want to do.Orchestra music?Not by choice.I have to learn one to play for my parents.It just makes me wanna crawl into a hole and die,"Cardigan said with a sigh.No offense to anyone but classical/orchestra music was pretty boring to her.I mean like,what's the point?To murder young children's ears and leave them to the Classical/Orchestra Harpies?Ahahahahahah.Nunoo.Never.Not gonna happen.

Logan nodded. "Oh." he said. "I see." he said. "In my opinion, I love those types of music. Orchestra and classical and such...it's very cool. Especially scores for movies. They're wicked awesome." Logan said grinning, and then realizing he was rambling on. "Sorry." he added quickly, with a slight blush.
