"Okay." he said, watching as she stroked the painting. "So, how are classes going?" he asked.

"okay thanks max!" Ariana couldn't help but laugh when he spoke of Salazar. "he really just needs to get use to you. he's just a baby still so it'll take time. he bites me too haha."

"Pretty good,"Cardigan said with a hint of satisfaction.She aimed to succeed in everything,if you didn't already know.After all,Slytherins were,"those cunning folks who use any means to achieve their very ends"!Talk about an over-achiever........

"Cool!" Logan said. He was really loving his classes so far, they were fun!

"More like he's hungry and eats people!" Maxwell said with zombie hand motions.

"You?"Cardigan asked as if it were routine.'Cause it kinda was.She said that word every single day!You,you,you,you,you!Sometimes she got tired of that word.Cardigan felt loose hair brush against her cheek.Darn!She had left her side braid hanging!She quickly finished up her braid and waited for Logan's reply.

It seemed that Adam made a weird face, but Ellie didn't really know why. So she just ignored it and moved on. Because Ellie just wanted him to accept his Knighthood! She stuck her bottom lip out and pouted a little more until Adam finally laughed and gave in. Ellie grinned victoriously. "Good! You shall be my knight then, Sir Adam." That all sounded so formal. And she wondered why Adam thought she was weird... Huh.

And... apparently that didn't matter. Well, alright then.

Mad in the head? Well, that probably wasn't the first time she'd been called that. But Adam was saying he hadn't done anything fun yet. "Well, that doesn't really matter; I just think you're fun to be around. It's your personality." Ellie shrugged. Just because they weren't doing somersaults and jumping in the lake didn't mean she wasn't having fun with him. "And just because your hair is red, doesn't mean you have a fiery personality. Take it from me." No, really. Take it from Ellie. Her hair was brown as mud but how many fights had she been in? At least three. And she kicked butt. Ellie sighed. It was like Adam didn't want Ellie to think highly of him. "No, we met last year at the lake and I've seen you around the castle since then. I've heard all the things about you that go around the school, but I don't listen to them. Because the Adam I know right here is nice and I don't need a silly reputation to tell me otherwise." Because despite their past and current situations, Ellie was friends with Adam. Whether he or Dallin liked it or not.

Well, he wasn't go to do anything. That was a relief, even though Ellie knew he wouldn't have anyway. But really? "I'm not going to have Dallin forbid me to see you. You're my friend whether he likes it or not." How many times did Ellie have to say that? Then, of course, Adam said what she was hoping he would never say. Distance himself. Ellie sighed heavily. This was beginning to look exactly like what happened last time. Jasper Somerhalder became friends with Ellie, developed a crush, blamed himself for a fight between Ellie and Dallin and then completely ditched Ellie. And their friendship was completely gone because he just left. Ellie didn't want the same thing to happen with Adam. "Please, Adam... don't do that." Ellie ended up sounding a lot sadder than she intended. But she just didn't want to lose another friend like that.

Some odd sinking feeling in Adam's gut told him that being called a knight wasn't his first time today. He just didn't know why. "There's just one thing missing in this equation..." He paused for dramatic tension. "A..umm..horse." That wasn't a weird idea, was it?

But at times Adam could get stubborn an such an never give up on something he so desperately wanted. He tried to push the thought out of his mind an did his best to 'believe' what Ellie had said about him. His personality. "I guess, if I loosen up a bit more I can be more relaxed an such." When she mentioned his hair Adam couldn't help but laugh at the comment. She may have heard some things about him that was floating around the school, but she had never experienced Adam in an argument or fight. He ran his hand through his hair in model like manner an letting it bounce a bit. "Well..maybe my hair doesn't compare to my personality, but you can't deny, nor can I -hey that matched- that I've got brilliant hair." Adam spoke in a excited tone. "But the reputation is more than true." It was a reality an everyone knew it. Whether they knew him personally or not.

Adam wanted to argue with her on the fact that the best thing was for Dallin to monitor him mostly, or to keep Adam away from her, because it'd be the best thing. But then the sadness an almost desperate tone changed his mind in a split second. His head turned to face her an he gave her the most sad, confused look ever. The change in her voice surprised him. "Is..everything all right?" He asked, referring to her tone.

"Or he's a Zombie-Owl!"

"I love my classes. They are SO fun." he said, watching as she finished her braid. "You have real nice hair." he said smiling.

Ellie waited in the intense, dramatic pause to see what he was going to say next... A horse. Duh, 'cause all knights needed horses. "A horse! You need a horse, but where can we get one?" Ellie tapped her finger on her chin and put a thoughtful look on her face. She was pretty much kidding about it all, but she was kind of having fun. "Oh, I think the topiary garden has a horse," she pointed out. So if Adam really wanted a horse to complete his knighthood, they could go there.

There, he had the idea. He just had to loosen up and relax. Ellie smiled at him. "There you go. Like right now, you seem pretty relaxed. It's nice." Adam didn't seem like the type of guy that everyone thought he was or that everyone said he was. Besides, Ellie didn't want to believe anything that was based on rumors. She couldn't help but laugh when he started talking about his hair. And he rhymed, which made her laugh too. Well, Adam did have good hair. "Yes, I have to admit - your hair is pretty nice." Ellie grinned and reached over, ruffling Adam's hair. He probably wouldn't like that too much, but oh well. But then he spoke quietly about his reputation again. "Reputation or not, I still like you." And she stuck her tongue out at him.

Pursing her lips, Ellie sighed and shrugged. "Yeah, it's just... this has happened before." Ellie looked away from Adam and out over the castle grounds. "One of my friends told me he liked me more than that, he blamed himself for fights between Dallin and me and then he just... left. He said he couldn't be friends with me or see me anymore because he didn't want to hurt my relationship with Dallin." She looked at the grass and frowned. "It sucked losing a friend like that... But I guess if that's what you feel like you need to do, I can't really stop you." She wished she could, but Adam had to make the choice by himself.

"Oh um...thanks,"Cardigan said with a rather not large grin,blushing slightly.But on the inside, she was all like OMG!I can't believe you think my hair is all awesometastical!*movie star hair poof*That made her feel like an even greater person!Of course she was already great,but that made her even more full of Awesometasticalness! takes a lot of thought to think!Some people should use words like awesometastical and epictastical more often to make their friends go all .Ever since that (crazy) prefect Selena Zabini-Riddle said that word,it stuck with her like super glue!Which got annoying soon enough!

Evelyn stared at the creepy looking tree that stood some distance away. She'd been told that it moved around and hit people...scary. Well, she wasn't getting any closer to the tree. Better to be safe than sorry.

She walked a few feet to the left before she sat down. The sixteen year old stretched her legs out in front of her before she removed the History of Magic textbook from her bag. Now, to get some reading done. Sighh.

"You're welcome." he said, smiling.

"You're right the Zombie epidemic is very serious." Maxwell said With a sly grin.

At the prospect of having to get a horse Adam had a wide grin stretching on his face. But, he wouldn't an couldn't use the horse, an he'd look kind of weird just sitting on one, as if he were taking a picture at the zoo or something. "I'm fine..I don't need a horse. I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to sneak into one of those suits of armor either. Against the rules, probably." As long as he was dressed in the appropiate attire that could be enough. Having a horse would be overkill.

"I can only get 'loose' around a particular group of friends-I guess..if that makes any sense to you." Even he had to laugh at himself, even he had some trouble understanding the concept. An then Ellie did the number one rule no one should ever do around Adam. He was very serious on the matter of his hair. His mouth was gaping wide open as she ruffled his hair. Adam pointed a very stiff finger at her an said in a low voice, or lower than his already low voice, "You do not touch my hair. It's a treasure that is untouchable. You will have repercussions for that." An then he went in for the kill an tried to mess up her hair the best he could. "There- now we're even." He said with a smirk.

Obviously, this was a very serious matter to her, seeing as she couldn't even face Adam's direction,which made him wonder how bad it had really been. An the situation turned out to be almost similar to what Adam was experiencing. Only the last part hadn't happened, or won't happen, or shouldn't happen. Then Adam realized he'd lost his two best friends very quickly because of his stupidity. There was a stretch of silence as Adam thought about what Ellie had told him was his choice. "I've lost my two best friends over the past two years...I have a tendency to lose friends because of stuff I've done,personally, to them." He still didn't know what to do of it. His list of 'bad conclusions in friendships' turned out heftier than the ones of staying friends with them forever.

"It's pretty epictastical,"Cardigan said with a smirk,knowing Logan wouldn't know what the heck that word meant.Thank you Selena Zabini-Riddle,she thought devilishly as she waited for a reply.That word's pretty awesometastical, right?

Paulie was ambling out on the grounds rather recklessly as he got a little too into the music emanating from the earbuds in his ears. He was strutting and scrunching his eyes together at the best parts, not really caring what he looked like, seeing as so few people were out in the chilly air. Fleetwood Mac was playing, and this one was his fave. "Been down one ti-iime! Been down two ti-iimes!" He sang aloud, though not quite in tune. The boy was just about to belt the 'Never going back again' line, when.... SWISH.

A pair of outstretched legs had caused him to trip and his arms swiveled madly as they searched, unsuccessfully, for something to grab hold of. He ended up cushioning the fall with his palms and knees, but it was still quite a thud. After rolling over onto his bum, he brushed the grass off his trousers and pulled the earbuds from his ears before looking to the person whose legs he fell over. "Well, that was quite the embarrassment, wasn't it?" He said, in spite of the fact that he wasn't really showing any signs of being embarrassed. Rather, he just gave a curt laugh at himself and settled his elbows on his knees. "Sorry 'bout that."

Ariana stopped laughing and gave max a serious face. she had nothing to say to that. she just turned her back away & put one hand on her head. 'WHY, why was i cursed with such weird friends!' she thought to herself.
