Arya smiled at the girl's effort and shook her head. "That won't work, Sophie. The Bestiar Charm can only be reverted with the spell Homini. The wand movement is a swish aimed at my hands." It was a simple enough spell that Arya didn't mind little firsties casting on her. That or she was still on a high that had her not caring the least bit. She held her hands out for the girl to cast, tentacles still twitching at the tips.

The charms professor could fix her if it went wrong, right?

She glanced at the other girl as she arrived and smiled. "Better late that never. We're protecting the flags now," One of which was still in her tentacles. She'd be rid of it as soon as she was able. "If they start to get close to the flag, cast finite at their hands so they can't grab at it, then tag them!"

Speaking of late... where was Treyen?

"That's a great idea and maybe a silencing charm like Silencio or Langlock to prevent them from casting any spell at us,"Alyssa suggested. "And then we can then use any spell to stop them in their tracks just long enough for us to tag them."

Then Alyssa noticed Arya's hand. "Do you need help with that?" Alyssa asked Arya. Taking out her wand she pointed it at Arya's hand and in a swishing motion, said,"HOMINI." "Here I hope that works."Alyssa smiled at her house prefect

Sophie listened carefully to the girl's words and nodded. She swished her wand, aiming at the older girl's... tentacles. "Homini!" she waited to see what would happen, with wide eyes.

"Oh, I tried the casting Finite at the girl who stole our flag before but I couldn't aim at her hands, she was running really fast." she said looking up at their prefect. "At least I undid all of the spells she was casting my way, heh."

Arya watched the little badger cast, brown eyes going to her tentacles to watch them transform back into her proper hands. She grinned at the girl. "Good job! Thanks!" She wasn't disfigured anymore! Now she could join them in the casting and such.

"It should work if you cast at any part of their body, but if not try finite incantatem. The wand movement is a sweeping motion." She silently levitated the blue flag to one of the branches of the willow, and painstakingly worked at getting it attached to the branch. "But like I said, finite should work." If not then they'd need another plan. Hehe.

"Those will work great on younger students!" She grinned. It clearly wouldn't work on older students like herself, but it seemed the younger ones were hunting down flags, so Arya was sure it'd be good. "Nope," She gave her wand a twirl, glad to have fingers back. "She just helped me out, but thanks."

Right. Oakey agreed with her once more, It was true the Willow was practically part of their team, and should be awarded MVP if it does it's job well. He would defend the tree with all of his might, first he needed to get his adrenaline going again.


Finally the Cavalry has arrived. Hiya, Alyssa! Oakey beamed with joy as he saw her coming. Oh! good idea! With that charm, we'll know when anyone enters the area!Hufflepuff was lucky to have such a genius, thank Merlin she wasn't in Ravenclaw.

He got down into the grass and starred hard for a moment at some fallen leaves! Then it came to him, HEY! HEY! I have another Idea! Hopefully this would work well for them!

Glenn nodded determinedly, "Okay, I'll try," She said. "Finite? Right?" She just needed to clarify the charm, they would get in trouble if they injured someone and well- if she got the spell wrong that could hurt someone.

Sophie smiled when she saw the prefect's tentacles transforming back into her hands. She had now learned another spell! Yay! "Not a problem!"

Once again she payed attention the the older girl's instructions. "Okay, I'll do that! I can make the floor slippery as well!" she didn't know that many spells yet, but the ones she had figured out could help her out, indeed.


Looking back at Glenn, Sophie smiled. "Do you want to practice it, Glenn? I can make the floor slippery and you make it go back to normal!" she then pointed her wand at the ground a little ahead of them. "Glisseo!"

Alyssa smiled. It was nice to see Oakey again."What's the idea, Oakey? If you have something that will protect our flags and the ones we captured, it would definitely be great."Alyssa encouraged him to reveal his idea.

As soon as Sophie said the incantation Glenn instinctively shouted, "Finite!!" at the ground. She barely felt the slipperiness of the ground before it become solid again. "I did it!" She said, running forwards and giving Sophie a high five. "Lets go kick some house butt," She said.

Oakey knew he would get Alyssa's attention. but he looked to see if anybody else was paying attention.

He decided to go on explaining his plan anyways.

Do you see the fallen leaves around here. He pointed to some of the leaves that had fallen from their trees each different fall colors. What if we transfigured them them into fake flags, carried a few with us and hide a few more He grinned at his idea, it truly was brilliant. We can stick a few on the Willow jerking his thumb backwards directing their attention to the tree.

Sophie smiled widely at her friend. "See! It's easy! We're going to get them all!" Woop!


Sophie heard Oakey's plan and looked at him with both of her eyebrows raised. "That's brilliant!" she said smiling at him. Then she frowned, looking curious. "But do you know how to do it?"

I would do it, yeah. Oakey gave a nervous smile and rubbed the back of his head with his hand then yanked it off after he realized it was stuck because of the gripping charm, but well...you see...a Slytherin kind of took my wand once I was captured.

He looked curiously at the others. Surely one of them would know the right incantation for this to work.

Alyssa thought for awhile. "Could the incantation be "Multicorfors"? I know that it changes the color of an object but I'm not sure whether that's the right one. I guess we could try it and find out. And remind me to get your wand back from that Slytherin after the game is over."Alyssa suggested to Oakey.

"Oh no, of course you didn't!" he said, waving a hand. "Yeah, that's exactly what it is!" he said smiling a little. Fascinating and scary. "Nice to meet you, Kacie! I'm a first year Gryffindor as well." he said smiling. "Yeah, I do come here a lot. I really like the Whomping Willow..." he said, looking at it and then back at Kacie.

"Couldn't one of us just do Accio wand and get your wand back." Minerva shrugged and pointed her wand towards the directions of the snakes "Accio Oakey's Wand" she waited to see if it would work..

Haunted shack? That totally sounded like it was worth exploring. "That sounds pretty cool. Do we ever get to go to that town?" Cuz it would be cool if they could just see it.

"Cool." He was actually surprised he remembered the names. They were all kind of weird and stuff. The symbols were cool.

Sammy just chuckled. Definitely not what comics were about...he nodded. "In most of them." That was how comics made sound effects after all.

Competitions? "I didn't know they had competitions for that." He guessed you learned something new everyday.

Kennedy quietly slithered his way to the Whomping Willow. He was as quiet as a snake and this aid his advance. His eyes sparkled at the sight of the Slytherin flag. That was THEIR'S.

He stood up and made a mad dash toward it with his newly charmed hands and reached for it. Yes, both of his tingly hands had been cast with Prehenso charm.

The Alarm went off again!

He turned to see that the Slytherin who had knocked his wand from him was now reaching back for their Flag!

OH! NO! YOU! DON'T! Oakey pounced at the Slytherin reaching at his robe with both of his hands still charmed!

Selena glared at all the Hufflepuffs around. Really? They couldn't move? They had to stay here? Selena stayed hidden, just a little, but she stood close enough to keep watch of Kennedy. Because they had to work as a TEAM and conquer them. She had to stifle a giggle when she heard the comment about the wand though. Because the girl who didn't smile had it. And it would be hard to get it back from her. Hehe...

OH NO. HE DIDN'T

"Immobulus!" Selena shouted pointing her wand at the boy who had started to pounce on Kennedy.

Kennedy turned around at once when he heard movement. Since he wasn't wearing his long cloak he got away, but pointed his was at the guy. "Rictusempra!" he said.

The guy was cornered thanks to Selena.

SYTHERIN RAID! GET REA..dy!?! Oakey was in mid-air when a spell hit him! landing on top of the Slytherin boy!

Then the older Slytherin Boy cast the tickle charm! Hey! He-HAHAHA! No fair! HAHAHAHAAHAHA! I-I'm unarmed! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oakey's feet would not move and he couldn't stop laughing but he was at least on top of the Slytherin who was going for their flags.

Woot!

Sel got the guy!

....

But he landed on him! "Sel, TAG me!" he said, just to make sure. He didn't want to be a prisoner with the Hufflepuffs.

Looking around, Sophie saw the Slytherin who had cast a spell. She pointed her wand at her. "Immobulus!"

Selena nudged the Hufflepuff that had fallen on top of Kennedy, rolling him over on his side and poked Kennedy with her shoe. She had kinda tapped the Slytherin Prefect, therefore he was free, right? And with that, Selena stood alert, allowing Kennedy to go for the flag.

"Let's just get the flag and leave," Selena told him, her eyes darting back and forth.

and good thing she had.

"Protego!" Selena said, throwing up a weak shield quickly to deflect the spell.

Kennedy grinned at the shoe poke and stood up. Phew. Brief freak out moment, but he was back into action. Oh yeah!

"Thanks!"
Before running to the flag he cast a shield. "Protego!" And then made a run for it again.

HE WAS SO CLOSE!
