Alyssa smiled. She liked the Headmaster. "Thank you, Sir. I hope so too. And good luck with your search to solving the mystery behind the strange happenings in this school." Alyssa wished him before running off back to her dorm room. She had a homework that she needed to submit.

Tate watched the Hufflepuff depart back down the corridor before giving a wave to the rest of those waiting. "I'll be with everyone in due course. Thank you for waiting."

He headed up the stairs to see the waiting Ravenclaw.

When Nate saw the headmaster he got up from the seating area, and walked over to the gargoyles. Book in hand he tried to catch the headmaster by saying "Headmaster-." Then the headmaster went into his office. Nate whispered to himself "Crap. Didn't catch him." Then he waited for him to come back out of his office for the next person.

Alyssa couldn't believe that she was back here standing at the Stone Gargoyles again. Unfortunately, she wasn't here this time to give him anything, but rather she needed to talk to him about one of their visiting Professors and what she had made them to do in her class. So Alyssa waited patiently for the Stone Gargoyles to open up on their own accord, since she still didn't know what the password was.

With Floppy his befriended Duck from the pond waddling next to him as he walked up to the Stone Gargoyles up to the Headmasters office. Daichi kept looking at his written down homework. Was it a joke from Auntie that they needed to tell the Headmaster this or...not...?

He still wanted to have the points so he shrugged off the confused feelings and when he reached the gargoyle he noticed a Hufflepuff student waiting in front of it. "Hi!" he greeted her with a wave of his hand. The duck by his feet began to waddle in circles around him.

Alyssa turned to see Daichi....and his duck. 'Oooakkayyy I'm not going to ask him why he has a duck with him.'Alyssa thought to herself. "Hi Daichi are you here to see the Headmaster about Madam Poppy too? Do you think she cast an E.E spell on us so that we will say nice things about her to the Headmaster?" Alyssa asked him. She had been wondering about that homework assignment part for awhile now. Strange. Very strange indeed.

Amelia honestly thought that it was silly for her to have to go to the Headmaster and sing praises of a woman who she thought was kind of weird and unsettling. But since he was for homework, she supposed that she might as well just do it.

Muttering under her breath, she approached the stone gargoyles outside of the Headmaster's Office and saw Alyssa waiting there too. "Hey, Alyssa. Are you here for homework as well?"

Alyssa turned when she heard a familiar voice call her name. "Excuse me, Daichi. Hi Amelia. Yep! I'm here for that homework thingy too. Poor Headmaster, he's going to be wondering whether we've all gone crazy especially since we're all here for the same reason."Alyssa laughed.

Daichi nodded his head and placed his piece of paper in his robe pocket. "I am, though i am happy you are here as well." he laughed softly and looked down at Floppy his duck to keep an eye on her when she waddled to the wall nearby. "I've never been here before and...well..the assignment is weird" yup weird was the only thing he could describe it.

Shrugging his shoulders at her question "I don't know... Maybe?" Daichi kept eyeing Floppy with an curious expression as she waddled back. He smiled brightly and crouch down to attract the duck back to him. It came waddling over with a few loud QUACKS! and just as Daichi got back up another student had walked up to them.


Floppy was waddling her way over to the older student and stopped in front of her shoes. QUAAACK! The Slytherin blushed a little in embarrassment as he waited for the two students to stop talking and came in between them. "U-uhm. Hi~!" he greeted the hufflepuff with a wave of his hand and smiled before muttering a ... "sorry about my duck" as Floppy went back to his legs and began quacking at the Gargoyle behind him.

Amelia smiled at Alyssa now. At least she wasn't going to be the only one talking to the Headmaster about Poppy at this time. She kinda didn't want to make fake compliments on her own. "I don't really want to do this," she admitted now. "I don't like lying, and I think Poppy is... weird." :/ Meh. "Poor Headmaster indeed. He might be so confused." Bless him. Hopefully everything would go okay.

When she heard a quacking sound, Amelia blushed and looked around before locating the animal as it was at her feet. "Oooh, he's so precious." she bent down to try and see if the duck would let her pet it. Hopefully since it was a pet it wouldn't decide to bite her fingers or something.

Looking up at the boy who addressed her, she smiled. "Hello, and it's okay. I like ducks." She pouted as the duck wandered over to his owner again. Ah well.

Presley skipped down the stairs and out of the office. This had been the best most helpful thing she could have hoped for. She stopped just outside the gargoyles and looked around. "Whoever's next can go up now!" she said cheerily.

Daichi sighed in relief that the girl wasn't scared of the duck. Floppy didn't seem to care about the girls hand trying to pet her because she was still focused on the gargoyle.

It seemed like the creature wanted to visit the headmaster as well O_o

"So you like ducks as well?!" he tried so hard not to squeal but failed as a high pitched sound escaped his mouth. She was one of the only ones though. Daichi clearly remembered a Ravenclaw saying they were evil and scary and Thea who had wanted to eat them! Shaking his head, Daichi's thoughts got distracted by a girl around his age skipping down the stairs.

Whoever was next? The Slytherin looked at the two Hufflepuffs and shrugged his shoulders. "Shall we all go in? Seeing as we are here for the same thing?" Better tell it one time all together than bugging the Headmaster with the same story seperately.

Well it looks like Nate is next. He looked around to find Oakey. He then saw him still slouching off at the seating area. "Yo Oakey we can go in now. Come on so we're not holding off all of these people."

Oh, the duck didn't want to play with her. How sad. Amelia pouted then looked away from the duck and back towards the boy. "I love ducks." She had even played in the duck pond early in the Term. She was going to miss that pond. She giggled as he seemed excited. "I see you love them too, not just like them." Judging by the fact that he was practically squealing. It was cute.

When the girl came out and said Headmaster Tate would see the next person, she looked around in confusion for a moment before nodding at the suggestion that they go together. "I think that's a good idea. Maybe we will be more effective this way." She had no idea.

Oakey was having the strangest dream... He was fighting off a mobile army of Snargaluffs and rocket propelled Blast-Ended-Skrewts. All while trying to overcome turning into a moose.

Suddenly a swarm of flying candy started buzzing around him and in the center of the flying candy was Head Master Tate saying "constant vigilance" repeating himself multiple times, until the Dream Tate turned and faced Oakey. "Yo Oakey"Tate said...Which was odd because Tate did not have the voice of a little boy, but this one did. "Yo Oakey, we can go in now." Dream Tate said to Oakey once more....

Candy Tate, I don't want to go with you. Oakey mumbled in his sleep. I need to defeat the Snargaluffs and Skrewts.

Oh boy this was going to be fun. Not only he might have to go in alone for the first time, but he has to wake up Oakey. the last time he tried to get Oakey up he was in the hospital wing from Nate's accidental mistake. This was not going to be fun on either end. Oakey might have something bad, and Nate might be hurting anywhere in his body from that mistake because of some recoil. Looks like he would have to do it the old fashion way. Wait he's like two times Nate's height. How was Nate ever going to reach his face to slap it?

Looks like he would have to jump. Hurdle jumping please pay off Nate thought. So Nate jumped as high as he could, and tried to slap Oakey awake. He missed. So once he landed Nate thought of something else. Nate thought of something then. He started to poke Oakey on the shoulder. Thankfully he could stretch his arm up to there. So he kept on poking him in the shoulder while saying "Oakey wake up. Oakey wake up. Oakey wake up." Come on Oakey you better wake up or else.

It seemed that Head Master Tate did not like Oakey refusing to go with him. The Head Master then summoned more candies and they all started to swarm around Oakey! poking him constantly! his eyes closed tighter as the poking go harder and when he opened them once more Tate was inches away from his face! and started say in the childish voice that was not his "Oakey wake up. Oakey wake up. Oakey wake up." Come on Oakey you better wake up or else."

Oakey's eyes opened wide and he shot his head straight up! uuuh whuuu, huh? Oakey blurted as he awoke. Nate, Nate, Nate stop-stop poking me I'm awake, I'm awake.

Nate stopped poking Oakey as he awoken. "Ok good lo-." Really the other people went in already. "Looks like we have to wait some more. Since the hmeork people went in before us. Oh well. Just don't fall asleep again." Nate didn't want to have to start the process all over from the beggining. That would get annoying on Oakey's part. He obviously did not like to be poked by midgets.

Coming down from the staircase, the Gargoyle opened up and Daichi stepped inside the corridor still with the bright smile on his face. He couldn't believe that the Headmaster had just said his spellwork was nice. It made him feel determined to practise even harder!

Seeing two Hufflepuffs he recognized from classes, he felt slightly bad for them because the Headmaster hadn't been really fond of...eh..Hufflepuffs. Oh well not his problem. "You guys can go up now~" he smiled . "Oh Oakey" ..that was his name right? He looked at the half sleeping Puff. "Congrats on winning the Quidditch cup" Daichi grinned and walked away.

Doing his best not to fall asleep once more Oakey stood straight but he his head would occasionally bobble up and down. It wasn't until,what was his name he was in some classes with Oakey and his name was on the tip of his tongue? Daichi ad come down and told them they could go up,and wait what? Oakey was congratulated for his houses Quidditch victory, but he hadn't played in the finals he was a reserve, well more like a back-up reserve. Oh well it was a nice gesture.

Hey, thanks Daichi, Maybe next year we'll meet Slytherin in the finals. That seemed like the nicest way to say "better luck next year," without choosing sides.

Turning his attention to Nate he let out a long yawn before saying something to his 1st year companion. Look's like we're up. He said I'll head in first.
