Ella arrived at the quidditch match wearing a bright yellow sweater, jeans, and matching bright yellow converse. Her hair was in high pigtails, tied in black ribbons. She even was able to make a pretty good badger face on her cheek with face paint. Under her arm she carried the same signs she had brought to the previous match, hoping they would inspire the players during this match.

She walked over to where another badger was seated and sat down beside the girl with a friendly smile. "Hi!" she greeted. Then she decided she'd better get cheering. "Lets Go Badgers! You can do it!"

She hadn't baked them with the purpose of giving them to the team, but since Lewis was here... "Um, Lewis, here," she said as she handed the box to him. "As a sort of pick me up before the game." Had she known he would be here she might have baked a cupcake for Treyen since he was sort of against cookies, but no matter. She didn't usually bake for other houses when it came to Quidditch, reserving that for her own house and sending the baked goods with August since Selina couldn't be trusted to not eat them all before arriving in the locket room, but she felt like giving them this time even if they had been meant for the spectators. "Or...for good luck." Whichever he preferred really.

When he turned away, Kurumi titled her head to the side again. He certainly seemed to be looking down at the pitch a lot. Was he nervous? Then again, he always seemed to be rather nervous around her. Was she intimidating? She didn't mean to be if she was, especially not to Lewis. His 'Oh' didn't sound all that happy either. "Would you rather I was rooting for Ravenclaw?" she asked teasingly, sticking her tongue out. Yeah, right, THAT would be the day.

Lewis watched her apparently looking for something with a rather curious look on his face. What was this about? He stared down at the box for a moment in surprise until realizing he should probably TAKE it too. Glancing back and forth between the box and her a couple of times, he finally lifted the lid to peek inside. Aww, COOKIES! YELLOW cookies! "Thank you!" They were for the team right? "Did you bake them yourself?" He grinned up at her as he closed the lid again, holding on to the box rather protectively.

Hoping the blush had receded by now, Lewis turned his head back to Kurumi next to him. "No. Why would I-" OOOH! She was kidding right? Or why else would she be sticking out her tongue at him. "Oh. Yeah, no. I just thought...I was just...nevermind. I'm glad you're rooting for us." SERIOUSLY, what was he talking about?!

A blue face appeared in the stands, peeping out from a mass of dark brown curls. In fact, it was pretty much only his hair that wasn't blue, as he was also sporting his 'Claw quidditch robes.

Spike peered down at the pitch, wondering what was happening in the Ravenclaw locker room. He didn't really appreciate being this side of the proceedings, and would far rather be with the team right now, even as their water boy. But he couldn't be, and he really hoped that Indy was dealing with it okay. He wished that they'd been able to play together for her first match, but nevermind...he could enjoy watching her instead. Weirdly, he seemed more nervous than when he was playing himself. He couldn't tell whether it was just for her, or for the result. Matches were more dangerous than practice, after all.

Sitting right at the front of the stands, Spike pulled someone special out of his robes. He'd arrived by owl earlier, and Spike was anxious that he was here to see Indy play. After all, Indy loved her cuddly toys. So yes, Pink Ted was now sat comfortably in Spike's lap. And going that little bit extra for Indy, he'd dressed Pink Ted for the occasion - making him a mini broom and beater's bat, and fashioning some quidditch 'robes' out of an old blue t-shirt. He was feeling like a particularly good brother today.

Now he just needed his sister to spot him on her warm up laps...

Kurumi smiled as Lewis eventually took the box from her. Really, he didn't have to be so shy around her. His awkwardness made her feel awkward and tongue-tied and a whole bunch of other things that she really shouldn't be feeling. "I did," she said with an enthusiastic nod. Did he not know about her and her baking? Actually, these cookies had been some of the first ones she had baked since coming back to Hogwarts after the break. She had sort of forced herself into the kitchens for these as well. Her heart just wasnt in baking for rather obvious reasons. "I hope you like them." She added another small smile to the end of that sentence.

Kurumi leaned against the railing and peered down at the pitch where she thought she saw Professor Vindictus lurking. Oh dear, was it already getting close to game time? She didn't want to get Lewis into any trouble with his team...

Kurumi's attention was back on Lewis though and his apparent miss of her joke and she nudged him with her shoulder. Really, he didn't need to get so flustered around her and Kurumi couldn't help but wonder why. "And...I'm glad you asked me to come. I'm not sure I would be here otherwise." True story. "Just be sure you kick some Ravenclaw tail for me." Please?

Laura had heard that her sister was going to be playing for the Ravenclaw team and so she decided to support her, she had made her sister a banner, it had taken her awhile to do but she was pleased with the finished article.

Evelyn frowned when she noticed a Huffie girl supporting the Claws. That was just weird. Heh.

Anyway..back to Ella. "I know! We have a great chance of winning this game." When she said that Evelyn was a wonderful name, she gave a bright smile. "Why, thank you. Although, you can call me Evelyn as well. it's upto you." She said, giving a small shrug.

Her eyes went to the banner that Ella was waving in the air. "That's a nice banner." Evelyn gave an approving nod.

Ella nodded, agreeing that their chances were good. She did feel nervous about the fact that they were playing the claws though, who were probably very good too. She shook the doubts from her mind and turn to Evelyn, smiling. "You're welcome!" She said cheerfully. "I think I'll stick with Eve. It's easier to say." She said, laughing.

Ella grinned at the older puff when she commented on the banner she had made. "Thanks! I did a whole bunch, actually. I think I got kind of carried away." She held up the various banners with different sayings on them to show Eve. Huffs for the Cup- Hufflepuff Pride- Puff Power

Laura looked around and saw someone frawning at her, well she didn't care. "GO, GO SIS, GO, GO" Laura was sure that her sister was going to do great and Laura couldn't wait to tell her how proud she was of her sister.

Evelyn's eyes were down on the pitch, waiting for the match to begin. "I think it's going to start any moment." She took another gulp of her coffee when the fellow Badger said that she would prefer calling her Eve. "That's great. Frankly, I prefer Eve as well."

"Oh, wow. These are amazing, Ella." Evelyn looked at the banners that Ella proceeded to show her. They really were very good. "...especially that one." She pointed at the one that said Puff Power. "Great job."Evelyn finished with a smile.

"Yes!" Was Ella's reply to the older badger when she said the game was going to start. She began clapping her hands and chanting. "Here we go Badgers, Here we go" *clap-clap*

"Thanks!" Ella said, with a side-ways glance at Eve, happy that she liked her signs. She had worked really hard on them. "You can hold that one if you want." She handed Eve the Puff Power sign and turned back to the game, excitement growing.

"I do. They look delicious." Then, glancing back up at her with a smile he added, "I didn't know you could bake like that." Or bake at all. Or liked to bake. He actually didn't know all that much about Kurumi. Huh.

Hang on. Had she just. "You came because I asked you to?" Lewis just stared at her for a moment, trying to comprehend what she'd just said. Seriously? That was the moment however he noticed somebody walking out onto the pitch out of the corner of his eyes. Turning around fully to be able to look back down, he realized it was...Vindictus. "Oh, I...think I gotta go." Like NOW!

Whirling around so swiftly he almost collided with Kurumi next to him, Lewis blushed and took a step back. "Sorry. Uhm. Thank you again. For coming. And these." Mostly for coming though. "And yes, bye, I'll see you later...?" Okay, his voice had sounded VERY hopeful there. Erm, awkward. "Right. Bye." And with that he just ran off, hoping she wouldn't see him blushing. Again.

So, that had confirmed it. Lewis didn't know that she baked. It was actually sort of refreshing to hear that. The nickname of Cookie Girl was one that was being thrown around so much recently that it seemed to be one of the only things associated with her. Well, that and house elves...Not the point. Not saying anything in return, Kurumi nodded her head as the smile on her lips widened a bit more.

"Always the tone of surprise," she laughed, shaking her head and causing her long black hair to ripple over her shoulders. Had she said something weird again? He was getting that look on his face and furrowing his brow in such a manner that seemed to be implying that she had. Before she could say anything more, Lewis seemed to also have noticed Professor Vindictus taking to the pitch.

Kurumi reached her arms out when he nearly toppled over or, erm, collided with her, erm, whatever it was that had just almost happened. Poor Lewis, he must be really nervous about this match and his face had even turned beat red because of it. "Good luck, Lewis," she said, mostly repeating what she said earlier, while waving to him as he left the stands.

Somewhere around 30 minutes later, the actual match began and things were pretty even. Vashti scored the first points of the game, but Hufflepuff came back scoring some of their own. Her heart raced a bit when Nessie caught the waffle, erm, quaffle and its paced quickened when Lewis received it from her and then passed it to Treyen. It really was a close match...and Kurumi couldn't even bring herself to nibble on one of the cookies with her.

Kurumi squeaked, noticeably, when she saw the bludger connect with Lewis and slip him over his broom. Merlin hadn't she just told him to not get hurt?! Or wait, had she only thought that but not said it out loud? Hands covering her mouth, she watched as he seemed to get back up on his broom alright and proceeded to play the game, her hands returning to her lap only when she saw that he was, in fact, alright.

And...wait...was that the....SNITCH?

It WAS the snitch and her breath caught in the prefect's throat as she saw both Seekers dive after the tiny golden object. Come on...come...

Fudgesicle.

Kurumi flopped back down in her seat and slouched slightly. Yeah, Ravenclaw had caught the snitch. Whoopie...

PhoenixRising 03-03-2012 07:37 PM

Josephina settled into a seat at the stands just in time to see Ellie steal the first snitch of the game from the first year Alec. It was close though. She saw them right on each other's .... broom tails.

"Let's GO badgers!!" she called as the one girl smacked a bludger.

sweetpinkpixie 03-03-2012 08:01 PM

Kurumi's body posture slouched a bit more after Ellie caught the snitch once again. This was NOT how the match was supposed to go. Furrowing her brow, Kurumi sat in silence as she watched the game continue. At least no one was getting hurt out there even if she knew first hand that Ravenclaws could play dirty sometimes. There was still time for Hufflepuff to make a comeback and Kurumi crossed her fingers and then crossed her arms, hoping that the triple good luck gesture would help some.

Weasley174 03-03-2012 08:02 PM

Laura looked at her sister flying, she was doing really great. "Come on Lana you can do it." Laura shouted to her sister, though she was sure that her sister probably couldn't hear her. "GO Lana GO!!"

pundantic 03-03-2012 08:11 PM

Ravenclaw was winning? The Gryffindor Captain had, ashamedly, been asleep when this game had begun. It was not that she did not care to watch any game with Ravenclaw in it... it was just that... well... she did not care to watch any game with Ravenclaw in it. It was here own personal thing with the team because of their poor attitude last year during all of the matches. Once she sat down she took out her notepad and started to take some notes... after all... she was sort of the rival team... she had to learn at least something.

PhoenixRising 03-03-2012 08:49 PM

Perhaps it was the weather, but for some strange reason, the stands seemed rather quiet today. To which she was somewhat grateful. It made watching the match almost.... peaceful... calm. Noting some of the Gryffindors beside her, she nodded toward them and then turned her attention back onto the pitch.

In time to see her little first year seeker thrust a fist into the air right before her eyes.

To which she responded with a fist pump of her own, as she jumped up from her seat, "YES! GO Summers!! You can do it!"

Laura saw Professor Hadley. "Hi Professor Hadley." Laura smiled, she hadn't seen her head of house for a while which was a good thing, because it meant she hadn't been getting into trouble. "GO, GO, SIS, GO, GO." Laura shouted towards the Match. "YOU CAN DO IT SIS, I KNOW YOU CAN." Laura was convinced Lana was going to be a great chaser one day.

Kaos.Doodles 03-03-2012 09:14 PM

He was up early today. Scabior found himself aimlessly roaming the ground, (perhaps looking for students to punish). But his attention was quickly taken over by the quidditch game that he could barely see.

It couldn't hurt to see who was winning...or playing for that matter. Hoping up the steps his head turned to the side as he heard Hadley's yell of excitement. "Someone's into the game a little too much." And by a little, he meant 'calm down, you're scaring anyone off within a 5 mile radius'. Dash yawned as he took a seat beside her.

Oh, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.

"Tied game?"

Settling back into her seat again, Fina glanced over to see Laura cheering in the stands. And she nodded back. "Good day, Miss Hyde," she said politely, as she let the girl be and turned back in time to see Alec Summer take the snitch again.

"One moreeee!!!" And ooh, good save by her captain.

Oh, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.

"Tied game?"

Blink.

And then there was steps of someone next to her. And talking to her.

And mocking her?

Frown.

"It would do you well to have a little spirit for our student athletes..." Something she never got into as a student, but meh. "Yup. Tied game. Quite interesting."

Aw. Had his comment diminished her spirits? So sad. Dash scratched the back of his head as he looked over at the game. "Yaaaaaay go team!" He said in a dull monotoned voice.

"I would have spirit but that would involve singling out which team I want to win, basically stating which team I hate. And I don't think Professors are suppose to do that."

But she was. Hm.

"Think your team just won." He said pointing to the blur that was the first year. "Talented seeker."
