Taking her messenger bag from the seat and slipping it across her body, the girl raised her eyebrows at this piece of information. "Your mom knows about Quidditch?" Chuckling quietly, Louisa continued, "I spent Christmas holiday convincing her that my wand was actually a wand not a wooden stick." ... waaaait a minute. O_______o Did he just call her... pretty girl? Louisa Carter? The annoying overachiever geek? A thick awkward moment passed before she forced a laugh, "I should get that in writing." She added bitterly, "Someone doesn't even think I'm.." SIGH. "Never mind." She smiled again, "Your mom knows that you're an interesting and nice character, Emrys. I had really fun time attending the game with you. I usually bring a book to not fall asleep." |
Quote:
But he apparently had. His smile dropped from his face as he heard the force behind her laugh and the bitter edge. "I.. I'm sorry if I said something wrong." If he'd been thinking, he would have summoned paper and quill and written it down for her... but he was not that suave. He offered the next bit softly. "I think you're great, so whoever doesn't can just go... take a swim with the giant squid." He paused. "Thanks for putting up with me." |
Quote:
Louisa's face flushed at his soft words and she slipped her hand into his, "I think that's the sweetest thing anyone ever said to me." About swimming with the giant squid part. Smiling widely, she gave him a soft push toward the exit, "I'm willing to put up with you all the way to the castle, too." Her hand was still grabbing his loosely. To her, it was really nothing to hold a boy's hand, no matter what her aunt would say. She held Adam's Paulie's Dal's and every single boy's hand in school anyway... ... was that why her social life sucked? Nah. Can't be. "Unless you have any other destination." she was cool either way. |

Before he could say anything, however, he felt her hand in his and immediately, he felt blood rush to his cheeks and ears. He knew that his ears were nearing the point of practically glowing red. "I meant it," he stammered, looking at their hands and then up at her. He stepped as she nudged, careful not to trip over his feet. He could hear his pulse in his ear and he hoped his hand wasn't getting sweaty. She. was. holding. his. hand. "I don't have any particular destination," he said, looking back at her. "Lead the way." And please let it be the long way, he added to himself. |
Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor! Seren was incredibly nervous, so nervous in fact, that she was shaking like a Flutterby bush. It was no surprise to her that she couldn't sleep. On the one hand, her Lions were playing and they had a chance to put together a winning streak. On the other hand.. it was against her former house. Ravenclaw. Logically, this would be a good game. Either way, she couldn't lose, not really. BUT, she wanted Gryffindor to win, because at the end of the day, she was no longer a student, and she was responsible for Gryffindor House. So with that in mind, Seren tied up her long blonde hair into a pony tail, got dressed and made her way down to the stands. She wanted to secure herself a prime position at the front of the stands. |
*waves* at Bentley. I remembered the promise. SPOILER!!: Professor Bentley Alyssa walked climbed up the stands and looked all around. There weren't that many Ravenclaw or Gryffindor supporters here yet, so it was easy for her to spot Professor Bentley. She remembered the conversation she had with the Professor at the first match of the term. Talk about a weird coincidence. Who would have thought that Ravenclaw would actually have to play Gryffindor at all. The odds were 4:1, yet here they were. She had wondered then which team Professor Bentley would be supporting, since she was the Head of House for Gryffindor but used to be Ravenclaws. She walked up to the Professor. "Hello Professor. I believe I said that I would sit next to you if Ravenclaw played Gryffindor this term and so here I am. |
lol I completely forgot XD Quote:
"Ahh hello Alyssa," she greeted the Hufflepuff. Indeed their little arrangement had been completely forgotten until now. "Honestly... I have no idea. But I'm sure it'll be a good game, and a close one at that." |
Kurumi made her way to the stands and pulled the sleeve of her red shirt up over her shoulder, only to have it slip off again. Kurumi was nervous for this match, in more ways than one. On the one hand, Kurumi was nervous for the team and had her fingers AND toes crossed that they would pull out another win. Gryffindor really needed to start moving in a positive direction. Something had just been...off and despite Kurumi doing everything she could to rally her lions, nothing seemed to work. Maybe Quidditch could help bring the house back to its former glory? They had won the House Cup back when she still an underclassman. So, of course she was nervous, especially for Selina who she knew was always putting so much pressure on herself - ESPECIALLY when it came to Quidditch. The other...was who would be in the stands. So MUCH awkward had happened over the past few days that the prefect was apprehensive about being seen in public. Lewis acting like he was going to kiss her down at the lake...August and Emrys drooling over her in class and getting into a fight...everything really. What if Lewis showed up? How should she act around him? Should she say anything? Pretend that it never happened? And she probably should apologize to Emrys for, well, for casting such potent charm. Why did being a teenager have to be so...confusing? Walking towards her usual seat, Kurumi saw that Professor Bentley was already there - no surprise - and had been joined by Alyssa. Kurumi tried not to roll her eyes noticeably at the comment about guilt. WHY should Professor Bentley feel guilty? It was her own choice to join the pride and feeling guilty would imply that she regretted the decision. So. No. No guilt. "Hello, professor, Alyssa," she said with a polite bow as she took a seat and began to drum on the rim of the tin of cookies on her lap. |
Quote:
Here she was! Her "Hello Kurumi dear," she greeted, returning the bow subconsciously. Merlin she was still rather nervous. "I see you've brought rations," she added, indicating to the tin. Of course it didn't surprise her, when there was Kurumi, there was cookies. "So how are we feeling ladies? I know I'm rather nervous." |
Quote:
How was she feeling? Rather sick to her stomach to be honest. The only time Kurumi had felt more nervous before a match was when, well, she was playing herself. Instead of really answering immediately, Kurumi toyed with her necklace and glanced nervously at the pitch. "I-I-I'm...nervous...too..." |
Evelyn entered the stands, her hands tucked into the pockets of her jacket. She knew her house wasn't playing but she still ended up turning up at every match. She was certainly starting to become a little quidditch-crazy. Weird. The sixth year took a seat near the middle of the stands before she removed a book from her bag and started to read. She might as well get some reading done before the match actually started. |
Ella hurried to the stands, excited to watch the match between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. She had caught a major case of quidditch fever and didn't want to miss a minute of play. Plus, it would be quite interesting to see what the Hufflepuffs would be up against. She smiled when she saw some familiar faces in the stands and gave everyone a general greeting. "Hello everyone! Nice day for some quidditch huh?" She called cheerfully, taking a seat in the middle of the stands. |

The sixth year waved at the girl and smiled. "Hey, Ella." |

"Well, thanks." Evelyn grinned picked one and popped it into her mouth. She loved Bertie Bott's..although some of the flavors were simply disgusting; like this one. EWWW! Jeez, what flavor was this? She didn't want to spit it out..now, that would be really disgusting. Instead, closing her eyes, she somehow managed to swallow it. Yuck. |
Quote:
She watched as Evelyn accepted a bean and put it into her mouth. She tried not to laugh at her reaction. It must have been awful! "You're welcome, have as many as you li-" She could no longer hold her laughter as Evelyn was attempting to swallow whatever gross flavor she had got. "Get a gross one?" She asked, giggling. Reaching into the bag, Ella pulled out a green one and inspected it carefully. "Here it goes." She said, popping it into her mouth. It was not exactly good but it wasn't bad either. She raised her eyebrows, trying to decide how she felt about the taste. "I think this is-it's grass..." She said, swallowing. "I don't think that one is my favorite." She decided. |
Quote:
Merlin. Kurumi was more nervous than she was. Despite the shaking at least she didn't speak with a stutter. Extending her cookie free hand, she placed her arm around Kurumi's shoulder briefly. "I'm sure it'll all be fine." Now she had a date with a cookie! |
*eyes Kurumi* xD Okay, so, Taryn was completely a Slytherin and that meant it sort of went against her grain to want Gryffindor to win at Quidditch. Obviously, though, Slytherin wasn't a choice this time around and there WERE those little details of her boyfriend being a Gryffindor AND playing the match. So, instead of donning the green and silver, she found that red looked totally awesome on her. As she selected her seat, she noted Kurumi was close by and waved at the Gryffindor. |
WOO. QUIDDITCH! Ellie was never this excited for a Quidditch match, but for some reason she was today. Maybe because she had a new found appreciation for flying. And she really wanted the Claws to win so they could win the house cup. They had a lot of points to get in order to catch up to the Puffles, so this game was important. Waving to a few other students who were there, and professor Bentley, Ellie sat down and waited for the game to begin. Hopefully more Ravenclaws would show up soon. |

Evelyn still looked a little nauseous. Ugggh! Never again was she going to eat a Bertie Bott again. Yeah, she was serious this time. She noticed that the young girl was trying to stifle a laugh..which was a little embarrassing. "Um. Yeah. It was quite gross." When she saw Ella pop another Bertie Bott into her mouth and say that it wasn't great either, Evelyn just shook her head. "Why are they all so bad?" |

Once he was up in the stands, Dallin started started searching for Ellie. He waved at a few people he knew in the stands, and Professor Bentley, and hurried over to Ellie when he caught sight of her. "Hey," he said with a bright smile as he climbed over a bench to sit by her. |
Lily was so excited as she made her way up into the stands. This was probably the biggest game so far and she really wanted the claws to win. Lily walked along the bottom row of the stands, looking for a good seat when she saw her Herbology professor. "Hello Professor Bentley" the Ravenclaw said waving. Proceeding to walk a little further, she sat down kinda in the middle of the stands, she adjusted her blue hat that matched everything else she was wearing. This game was going to be awesome! |
Quote:
Ella felt bad for laughing now, seeing that Evelyn still looked a little green. Please don't puke...please don't puke... "Sorry about that, I guess you never know what you're going to get." Ella said with a shrug. "I honestly don't know why the bags are usually filled with the worst ones, though I've had a few good ones! Like butterbeer!" At the mention of the delicious flavor, Ella decided to go for anonther one. |

"It's not your fault." Yeah, there were loads of good ones..but for some reason, she always ended up picking ones that tasted horrible. "Oh, yeah. I love that flavor. I've tasted it only once but I loved it." |
The stands were beginning to fill now, and the atmosphere was electric. Seren munched on her lion cookie, her left leg tapping subconsciously out of nervousness. Turning to check out the crowd that was appearing, she noticed that there were a lot of Badgers out and about. Where were the Lions? It was almost time. Seren turned back to face the pitch. "Wooooo Gryffindor!" she cheered, getting into the spirit of the game. She had a great deal of faith in her team. Selina worked them to the bone, the girl was obsessed... which was to be expected from a Captain. |
