A set of paths link the courtyard to various areas of the grounds. It's nice to walk along either on your own or with a friend. The trees on either side of the path help to create a light atmosphere. So go on, take your time and soak up the fresh air, heaven knows students need it.
"Ha ha ha......that would be great. Ho ho we've got some company. I'm Sam by the way. Sam Snape.Second year.I'm a Ravenclaw too.I've seen you in the common room. So we're cool now and you still got some payback." Sam placed his handful of snow on her face. Then he smiled. Then he turned in to the new arrival "hello"
Relieved that the boy didn’t seem to still hate her, the girl started smirking. ‘Nice to meet you’, she finally replied, trying to make a mental note of the boy’s name. ‘Oh, you are?’ Hmm… I had no idea he was in Ravenclaw…, the third year thought. That’s not such a surprise, though… she knew more people from other houses than her own.
Payback. Eeeep…I thought he forgot, the Ravenclaw thought and tried to duck. However, before she knew it, she was hit with a huge handful of snow. Ack. Picking up some snow, Gwen twirled it in her hands until she managed to make a snowball out of it. Then, she tried to throw it in Sam’s direction, but of course, she missed the target. The snowball only hit the ground. Now what? I’ll… run?!

"Oh well, hello! I'm Zack, Zack Tatum." he said and smiled. "Nice meeting you too" he said and then again looked at the boy beside. Is he still angry he couldn't make out from all his expression.
Wait what? Snowball fight? Interesting! But i don't want to get cold! Who cares? Mum's not around he thought smirked.
"Oh, great! FUN" he said aloud and gathered some snow and threw at her.
Again, Gwen repeated his name a few times in her head, just to make sure she wouldn’t forget. Because she usually didn’t remember people’s names. It was the hardest thing ever! There- she could be nice. One in a million years. But she COULD.
‘Hey’, Gwen said, not managing to duck in time to avoid the other snowball. Why is everyone throwing at me?!, she thought as she gathered some snow from the ground, which she finally threw at Zack.
Agreements were being made without either of them saying it aloud. Nice. She'd better not get used to being right, though.
Oh, he chuckled and DID roll his eyes. He couldn't complain that she was still going on about it because he was doing the same thing, but it was incredibly amusing that she'd said it as if she hadn't been doing magic for the past five or six years. Anyway..., "Of course, I'm not disagreeing with you on that part." He said, a small smirk still on his face. It was exciting, coming of age, but being able to do magic had always been there. Oh, wait, and SHE got to use it to change someone's hair color? Seriously? "With his consent, right?" If Kaika had ever threatened to mess with his hair...well...he'd have broken her wand on purpose.
Wait. What?
Blink. Okay, he was going to wait for her to finish her sentences before interrupting. If Max's mom was playing for the Arrows as they speak, then she knows his father and his father knows her, considering he still represented the team, plus, Treyen must have heard of her since it was his favorite team. He was liking Max more and more.
When his dad stopped playing. Right. This was Treyen's turn to speak. "Then I must know her too." If she still played. "My dad...he stopped when I was two." Mmmhmm. He nodded, the smile on his face faded a little bit but not entirely, "So, around fifteen years...but then he went back to the team around eight years ago, I think, so, if she's still there, they do know each other." Heh, funny. The Wizarding world was just too small a place.
Back to Alec.
"Maybe he had, I hadn't found the time to ask him...," he started to say, as he looked into her eyes, "...doesn't matter much, really, because he still does a wonderful job." It didn't matter to him, it probably did matter to her, because she was playing against him.
And Lewis. He pondered on what she said for a moment, "Maybe, but it's still my first time as Chaser." Lewis probably didn't know that. "I...," busted, "...I didn't do that either." Shame on you, Lockhart. So, maybe he doesn't need to talk to Lewis that much.
Seriously, though, how could he possibly say that he wasn't going to forgive her for focusing on her responsibilities as Captain, eh? It wasn't just that, she liked to push herself even harder, but there was little he could do to prevent Quidditch from getting in their way.
Treyen just smiled. And then kissed her cheek. She wasn't planning on starting all that practicing today, was she??
...Treyen didn't say anything. Therefore, Ellie was TOTALLY right. And right about being right. Ha!
The Ravenclaw looked away for a moment. There was no need for eye rolling. Really. "Well you made it sound like I was ridiculous for thinking so." She started rocking from heel to toe again. "Of course. He wanted me to." Her brother was on the verge of annoying with the hair thing. Only Ellie had been too excited to do magic to really care. "He liked green best." Which she found odd. Why would anyone want green hair?
Oh? She wasn't expecting Treyen to know Max's mom, too. But that just made it BETTER. She was nodding up until Treyen mentioned 'fifteen years'. Then Ellie paused her rocking and looked up at him. "That sounds long." In other words, they were OLD. When did that happen?
Basically, though, her boyfriend's dad knew her bestfriend's mom. "Wicked." It just WAS.
She nodded more. It really didn't matter how much practice he had, he was still good. Which meant she better be ready for him. It almost seemed silly to be intimidated by a first year. But Ellie really was. She really wanted to win. For Mina, right?
"Honestly," she shrugged, "If I were Chaser, I would have passed to you more. But...Well...If Messer had shown how amazing he was in practices...I don't know." Nevermind. She was thinking too much.
Her cheeks reddened, and not from the cold. It was good. That Treyen understood. It was good. That wasn't her original plan, though. She wanted to see if she could practice on her own a bit less now that the season had started and she'd have regular team practices and was back in the flow of things. Ellie freed her other hand, stuffing them both into the jacket's pockets and burrowing her face into Treyen's shoulder as she mulled this over.
"Maybe you can help?" Something specific came to mind, but...she was a bit apprehensive about bringing it up. Baby steps.

Yes, fine, she was right. He wasn't admitting it, anyway.
Oh? OH! Wait. Noooo, not ridiculous. Not exactly. And she'd looked away. No good. "Ridiculous? Never. I'd never think of you as ridiculous. Adorable and amusing, yes, that's what I keep on thinking you are when this subject is brought up." Which has been a constant recently. Truthfully, she'd looked pretty adorable saying she was finally able to do magic, and it continued to be amusing.
Mmmhmm. So, her brother had wanted her too. Aidan wasn't like Treyen, then. Good for him, because girls will ALWAYS want to mess with one's hair. He didn't understand why. But he still nodded when she finished talking. "Okay." Yes, just okay. Green was that, just okay.
"What's her name?" Max's mom. IF she still played, then Treyen must know her. He still followed the Arrows close by. Also, yes, fifteen years ago sounded like...a long time. Most of their lives, actually. Which got him to think that it's been fifteen years since his mom was gone and wondered how much his sister must miss her. "Yeah, he stopped playing when I was two, then returned to the team when I was nine, I think. Around seven years away from Quidditch." THAT was a long time, but Treyen understood, after all, he'd been one to back away from Quidditch at the end of his fifth year. The cause for it was also a girl.
It looks that someone seems to be more like his father than they originally thought they were.
Ha. Funny. He chuckled. She was a Seeker, she would've passed the Quaffle to him way more than Lewis had. Also, she was a little biased towards him, no? But Messer..., "He did! He beat me several times...," not that that was an indication to anything, but...
Awww, see, he loved to see her blush.
This situation wasn't to his liking, because his hand felt lonely...but, he did wrap his arms around her. Ummm, help? He wasn't helping the Ravenclaw team win over them, okay? His loyalty was with the Hufflepuffs on this. May the best one win. But..., "What did you have in mind?"
Yes, fine, she was right. He wasn't admitting it, anyway.

Never? Ellie shook her head. "I'm pretty sure you've called me out on being ridiculous before." Merlin knows she's called him ridiculous many an occasion. "Glad I amuse you, though." The 'adorable' thing? Well, she just wasn't going to argue with it aloud. Besides, Treyen was free to think whatever he wanted.
Yeah, she nodded, too. "I just hope he doesn't go changing his hair a bunch when he learns that spell." In fact, she didn't understand changing your own hair color at all. Reason why she was so reluctant to last term. Which, dear Aparacium, should confirm the fact that her hair was real, okay?
She had to take a moment to think on this. As far as she was concerned, Max's mom would be 'Mrs. James' to her. But Ellie knew the world would know her by her first name, therefore she must know it, as well. It just wasn't something that was easily recollected. "Erin," she said with a slow nod, not completely sure, "Erin James." It sounded right.
Ellie resumed her rocking. "He stopped because....because of your mum, right?" She forced herself to give Treyen a glance. She didn't even want to bring it up. It wasn't something they'd ever spoken of. But...she was just...confirming suspicion...or memory.
But Messer. "If he's so good, maybe you should try passing to him next time. If you play Chaser again." Which he totally could. He was just brilliant.
"Well...I've been meaning to try flying...under the stands, you know? But...I didn't want to go alone." For obvious reasons. Honestly, she was extremely nervous to go back there after what happened last term. But she felt that maybe if she had someone with her, they could go for help should she need it. Or with Treyen, who wouldn't let anything happen to her in the first place.

Seriously? "I don't recall." And he had good memory. If he'd ever called her ridiculous...he probably didn't even mean it, or was joking. There's no way he'd meant it. Unless...
...no, he hasn't. Has he?
It didn't matter. Because he wasn't going to discuss if he had or not. They spent too little time together to be wasting it on pointless arguments, anyway.
And then...Erin? A last name would be great, though there was only one Erin on the team, and the last name was the same as Max's? James? AND IT WAS! "Wow, really? I didn't even know his mom played Quidditch." Much less that she played for the Arrows, and that he'd seen her play, and that his father knew who Max's mom was. GRANTED, he didn't even know Max was a close friend to Ellie until last year. "She must be proud of Max. He's got talent." Definitely. Though, there was another James who played for the Arrows, another woman, but the name skipped his mind. So, one of those two was Max's mom. Awesome!
Uhmm. He turned away from those blue eyes for a second and nodded. "Mmhmm. Yes." He said, looking back into her eyes. It was a short answer, but she'd asked a 'Yes' or 'No' question. Plus, what else could be said?
Ha. Messer. The kid probably didn't care if he got passes or not, right? And he was worrying for him. "I definitely should. If I play Chaser again." He'll be working on it in practices, though, before trying it out in the game. If he was Chaser.
Er, what?!
Instant frown.
Also, he took a couple steps away from her and shook his head. "No." And yet he chuckled, because he couldn't believe what was being said, "Just no." Just because. "I don't want you to." Why? Wasn't it OBVIOUS? She COULD get hurt, and while it was reasonable for one person to practice in order to make perfect, he DIDN'T want her to get hurt while simply practicing. It was RIDICULOUS. Why risk yourself getting hurt when it wasn't even a game? And why put him through it? If she got hurt...he was the one supposed to aid her? She was going to make him worry JUST so she could practice? NO. JUST NO. Unacceptable. It was almost madness. He was accepting the fact that he was seeing less of her, ACTUALLY, he was accepting the fact that he'll probably have to deal with Quidditch injuries in the future, and that was A LOT. But...this? He couldn't accept this.
Worry was easily seen on his face. All over it. She was still going to try it, wasn't she?

"I don't know...I can hear you saying it." Just not the context in which it was said. Then again, she might just be putting his voice to those words in her head. But lookit. She was smiling. She couldn't care less if he called her ridiculous.
Mhm. "Chaser, I think," Ellie nodded. Chaser. JUST LIKE HIS DAD! "You know, you really should talk more." To Max. They had stuff in common. Not just this parents thing, but they both liked Quidditch themselves, along with reading and studying. It was amazing they weren't already friends. "I bet she is." He was a star Keeper, after all.
So THAT was his reaction. Okay. The redhead shuffled ever so closer to him and kissed his chin. That was all.
"Good." Nod. Give the little Hufflepuff stuff to do. Sounded like a good plan.
There was one thing that Ellie honestly hated about Treyen. Because of the sinking feeling it gave her in her stomach. That was when he walked away. Even if it was just a few steps, and it was ALWAYS just a few steps, it always scared her. And she really wished he wouldn't.
Basically, though, she should have been prepared for that. She KNEW he wouldn't like the idea very much. Hence why she was apprehensive about asking him. But. "It's not like I was planning on speeding through it. I wanted to go slowly. Explore it. Learn it." Memorize it if she could. "If the Snitch goes back there in a match, I'm going to go after it. And I'd rather be prepared. Know where every beam is." Ellie could tell he was only worried, but she wanted him to see her reasoning behind it. She was scared, TOO.
The whisper...Ouch. She didn't want to do this to him but she had to. She had to to prevent herself from getting hurt again. Her mouth opened again without any words coming out. Could he come back, please?

Luckly the snow ball came from the girl missed the target.Otherwise it will hit him this because he cant run. It's only a weak since he came out of the hospital wing.He has a broken leg.Actually recovering now.He shouldn't have came out in this cold weather. It is bad.But he didn't care after all and collected some more snow to hit that girl."don't you run away Gwen...stay where you are. There people want you." Sam shouted pointing the snowball 'cause he felt that Gwen try to run away.He came to the position to attack her back but suddenly he felt a pain grows in his injured leg.Maybe that pain has appeared in his face as well "oh damn it".

Zack smiled as he noticed the girl go in some kind of thinking. What? Is she gonna say that they didn't meet ever? that thought scared him for a while.
He looked up from his feet to see her face and just then he felt something of his face, something cold. It came to him so fast that he couldn't see what was coming. He ran his hand over his face to clean it. "Ah...snow. Wait, try this" he said and got down. Taking some more snow in his hands he threw it on her and smiled.

Maybe he said that something she'd said was ridiculous, but that didn't mean SHE was. Either way..., "Doesn't truly matter." Clearly, it didn't, that's why she was smiling, right? Because she wasn't paying much attention to that bit. Good.
Yes, exactly. Chaser. Sounded about right. Well, that was a very nice coincidence, though, because he liked Max, he was a cool kid. As far as talking to him goes..., "I hardly ever see him." Mostly never. Perhaps he was one of those Ravenclaws that actually liked to study and read books...in the Common Room, because Treyen would've seen him in the Library. The Head Boy nodded next. Surely, his mom was proud of him, no doubt about it.
The other kiss had been unexpected. But greatly appreciated.
AND...yes, he'll try to pass to Messer if Lewis didn't. Though, in all fairness, once the whistle was blown it was hard to think this stuff over. One usually did their best and if the chance relied on him to score, then he was taking that chance.
No. She couldn't understand what that single answer meant? What this all meant to him? Because he couldn't afford to be worrying about her even more. He kept his distance and shook his head as she spoke, his eyes weren't meeting hers. Madness, this was. And he'll go to Vindictus and talk to the man if he knew the Flying man would agree with him, but he'll probably give Ellie all the reason. "No. You'll want to go slow at first, then you'll gest faster and faster...and NO." His answer was very simple. His reason behind it...not so much.
'I'm going to go after it'. She'll do ANYTHING in her hands to get ONE Snitch, hence why he didn't trust her with this odd ideas for practices. Dangerous ones too.
"Don't." Eyes on her, almost pleading mercy on behalf of his heart. She'll be the death of him, seriously. "Please, Ellie." He'd done nothing wrong to deserve being punished right now.
"We could walk through it. That's all I can help you with." However, he could go flying inside the stands, it was okay if he did. Not that he'll think of doing that himself.
His voice held a serious tone next, "Try not to let me find out that you did it, either." That would upset him even more. He could only take care of her for so little time, and she was going to be reckless the rest of it. No fair.

Logan blushed. "You really think I'm that good?" he asked, turning his head to see a...what was that?! "Uhh....what...is...that?" he asked, moving closer to her to get away from it. Nnng....he didn't like...things...like...like that.
He then looked around when Ella suddenly 'disappeared'. He saw she had ran off to another student. He walked back towards them, his eyes still fixed on the...creature thing.
No fair.
"Nope," she agreed, "But you have permission to." ...He knew that, right? Plus, knowing her, Ellie would probably never realize she was being ridiculous and would need that...reality check of sorts.
Right. Well, that was unfortunate. "He likes to bury himself under books and hide in the Common Room." A very silly thing, if you ask her. He should get out more. "Especially with OWLs." Honestly, she was surprised he survived like that at all. "But you could catch him before or after practices." Because as far as she knew, that was the only time Max emerged aside from classes.
.....
He wasn't coming back. That was when Ellie cast around for a bench she could sit on. Alas, there was none in the immediate vicinity, so she dug her fists further into the pockets of his jacket.
She rolled her eyes. "That was the general idea," she muttered more to herself than for Treyen's sake. It was her plan. To go through it slowly, and gradually build speed.
And why did he answer 'no' anyway? She wasn't asking for his permission to do this. Help, perhaps. So maybe he was answering that he wasn't going to help her but...she wanted his help. Of course, she could find someone else she trusted, then. Like Max. But honestly, no offense to Max, but he wasn't Treyen.
Okay...SERIOUSLY? "Walk through it?" He was being completely....ridiculous. She breathed a laugh at the irony of it. How they were just talking about it, and it ended up being the perfect word to describe his current state. Maybe he was right. Maybe she was never the ridiculous one. Treyen was clearly ridiculous enough for the both of them. "What good is that going to do? It wouldn't be anywhere near the same thing." In fact, it might even be counter productive. She might get too used to walking it and be completely disoriented on a broom.
....
Ellie wasn't expecting to hear what had been said next. So basically, she couldn't get someone else to help her, or word would get back to him and then what? THEN WHAT, Treyen? "Or what?" she asked, annoyed at this point. What was SO bad about her trying this? It made SO much sense to go ahead and fly under there while she could control when and how fast and with who.
"Fine," she said, softly but sarcastically, "I'll just go in blind the next match. Cross my fingers and hope for the best." Was THAT what he'd rather?
She rolled her eyes again. More at herself this time. She so desperately wanted him to come back. To take his hand and tell him it wasn't a bad idea. That it made the most sense. That it was going to be fine and increase her chances of being fine in a match. But Ellie wasn't going to be the one approaching him. In case he only backed up further.

Oakey was trying to catch his balance as the Rocket propelled Ugly crab-thing tried to knock him down. When he saw two younger students come closer and just...watch as he was (sort of) tackled. Really! Oakey thought angrily REALLY! The younger girl who he believed he had met once was one of his housemates and the boy! He was a Gryffindor! wasn't it their sworn duty to be brave and help those who were in need, come one really MERLIN a GRYFFINDOR!. Not WATCH as a fellow student was being attacked by an tiny Ugly beast.

"Er...neither do I." He said, his voice doing that stupid cracking thing again. He cleared his throat and stood in front of Ella and that other...person he hadn't met yet. "I er..uh...what should we do?" he asked, turning around to face them. "It's kind of...freaking me out." he said, glancing nervously over his shoulder.

Ella had read about a spell that was supposed to stun its victims. She had never used it and was quite nervous to do it now but her housemate was in trouble. Pulling her wand from her pocket she aimed at the crabby-looking thing and looked at the other two. "Er-stand back okay?" She aimed her wand at the thing and said loudly, "Stupefy!"

Logan nodded, and stepped back watching curiously as she yelled a spell at the...thing. He'd only heard about that spell once...but he couldn't exactly remember where.

Ella frowned, watching it at a safe distance. She wasn't sure she was even powerful enough to do the spell and she didn't want to chance doing it again. Even if the scary thing was mean she didn't want to kill it. "It isn't moving but I mean-I don't know...I'll run and get Professor Williamson!"

Oakey finally caught his footing and turned just enough to let the Ugly-Crab thing land. He then ducked when a spell from.. ELLA! that's what her name was!.. went flying past him and hit a tree just behind him. W-watch where you're aiming! Why did this girl know the stupefy spell anyways? Oakey took his wand out and faced the Ugly Crab-thing. As he starred at he noticed it didn't really look much like a crab. It was like a hybrid between a crab and something else, but Oakey couldn't place his finger on it nor would he at moment.
I'll try to push this thing back into the woods, go get me some help! He yelped Orders at the two of them. Oakey didn't like yelling or being angry but Ella had almost just stupefied him and the Gryffindor boy was being useless. If they got help let it at least Williamson, the Care of Magical Creatures Professor. He would know what this thing was and know how to subdue it with harming it. Which Oakey would not hesitate to do if it came at him one more time. Heheh HesiTATE, that's funny. Oakey shook his head to focus on the tiny crab hybrid.

Ella apologized to Oakey, not meaning to miss the thingy. "I thought since Bentley said we might have to stun the Snargaluff plants that it would work on this thing too! Oh I didn't mean to almost get you!"

Ella didn't have time to answer Logan, she had already made her mind up and took off running towards Professor Williamson's hut. He wasn't there when she arrived so she left a note for him and hurried back to the pathways as fast as she could.
She reached the pathways red-faced, out of breath from running. Good thing she liked running or she'd be on the ground right now. "He wasn't there!" Ella said, frowning. "Guys I don't know-I'm nervous. Do you think it can still attack?" She grabbed Logan's hand again, squeezing it tightly to help steady her. She was pretty afraid of that lobster-pincher scary crab thingy.

WHAT!? WHY DID SHE RUN BACK HERE!Go get somebody else If he's not there! come on go! I don't care who you get! Really even Lafay or Vindictus would do.
He readied his wand at the Crab Hybrid in case it rocketed itself again.

Damn, Oakey sure hates yelling.
Ella frowned at Oakey but didn't argue. He was clearly upset and arguing would just make it worse. She ran off to find someone-anyone who could help them. She sure was getting a workout today.

"I er...don't know. Mayb-" he started, but turned a bit red as she squeezed his hand. He gulped and smiled at her and then turned his attention to the older Hufflepuff.

Logan watched as the boy readied his wand at the...uh...thing. He decided to do the same, and pointed his wand at it too, racking his brain for any spells. But his mind was too busy thinking about the...thing at the moment. He was going to introduce himself to the boy, but he felt this wasn't really the time so he just stood there, pointing his wand at the creature, feeling awkward.

Do you know the Aguamenti Charm? Oakey said to the younger Gryffindor boy. This Crab-Hybrid farts flames so they may need to put that spell to use I don't want to harm it unless I really have to. In that case Oakey would deal with it until a professor came along. He just hoped Ella wouldn't come running back empty handed like she did last time.
Not a Bang-Ended Scoot. Smh. *BURNS* *STINGS* *BITES*
The skrewt, having successfully knocked over the Yellow One, raised his stinger for another attack. He was having a blast - coming from both ends - but was not ready to deal with all of the small humans pointing their sticks at him.
The crab-like creature made a sound with its stinger that sounded like a rattlesnake's warning rattle. He turned his tail toward them and another blast sent him off, in the opposite direction of the children, and back toward the forest. Well that was unexpected, but he would make it work. Hiding in the forest, the skrewt could just wait and bide his time. Just wait. Just you wait, tiny people with big sticks.
Char-grilled children were the tastiest of snacks.
