That was more like it, to use manners. Well he had already used them by saying a little sorry but that wasn't considered well enough in her mind. Then again she didn't always use manners so it was a bit harsh to say that. Though she wasn't like this normally she probably just had a bad day and wasn't feeling well and the little bump just made it a bit worse. Looking at the boy he had looked a little "scared" of her which he shouldn't because she wasn't always like this. It was time to chnage the subject.

"Sorry for my little snap it hasn't been a great day for me" she said try not to seem like she was... a crazy type.

Should he...leave now? Could he leave now? Or would she be mad and jinx him from behind if he did. She didn't look too trustworthy. But then again, who ever did in Lewis' eyes? So instead, he just remained standing still, rocking back and forth on his heels absently, looking embarrassed with himself.

Lewis glanced back up with a surprised look on his face when the girl started to apologize. Oh wow. That had been quite unexpected. "That's...alright. Don't worry about it." He replied softly while looking over her shoulder at the castle. Which would be warm inside.

And...oh, but hang on, she was all about looking at the person when talking to somebody. So Lewis quickly averted his gaze back to her face. "Hi." Yes. He hadn't said that yet so he thought now would be a good time to.

Oh no. Her toes felt frozen. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to tak e a little walk in the cold, cold place were her feet were frozen. It would be better if she had stayed in the castle were she would be nice and warm but no she was crazy enough to go out for a walk in the winter! She about to head out to the castle untill the boy spoke. "Thats good then."she said not really listening to what the boy said but had just thought he said what she thought.

The boy spoke again this time she nearly laughed but gave a little snigger but so no one would notice anything. The boy actually looked at her. Hehe. Yes it was manners but she didn't really do what she said to the boy but he was following it. Trying to say something without laughing or smiling. "Hmm. Hi. Umm. I think I'm gonna go back to the castle, its chilly."

Justin was walking down the pathways. He wanted to see if he could tell the time will the sundial with a little bit of a shadow cast through the path. so, as he set his bag down next to him he pulled out the sundial. figuring his position to be facing due north. eyed were the shadow was cast and found himself to be split by the shadow and now he would experiment.... Looking at the sundial he did find it a bit difficut to read. So, he took two steps to the left and with the full light of the sun determined it to be quarter after five in the evening. Again checked his watch and sure enough it was the correct time.

"Ah yeah, she's pretty amazing." he said with a grin. "I dunno where she is..." he said, putting one hand on his hip and looking around as well. He then chuckled. "She might know..." he said, winking at her.

Ella laughed, hands on her cheeks feigning shock. "Oh no! Someone's gonna be in trouble." She kissed his cheek and backed away. "Better not tell her I did that then." She smiled at him, grabbing his hand. "So how are you on this fine wintery day?"

Logan laughed, and blushed as she kissed his cheek. "Oh, I wouldn't want to do that would I?" he asked with a grin. He then pressed his lips against hers and chuckled as he backed away. "And well we wouldn't want to tell her about that either!" he said smirking.

He pulled her into a hug as she grabbed his hands. "I'm great, sweetheart. You?" he asked with a smile, surprising himself at calling her sweetheart.

Ella was smiling like a fool and right on cue the butterflies were at it again. It was a feeling Ella was becoming quite accustomed to, even looking forward to it. She laughed as Logan joked with her, enjoying the banter.

When she heard him call her sweetheart she looked up at him blushing. "S-sweetheart?" She said, smiling. No one ever called her that. Not since her grandfather. "I'm doing good, just out to get some fresh air."

Staaaaaaaaaaaaareee!

Was he doing that right with? The look at her face thing. Yes? Lewis narrowed his eyes a little in an attempt to read her facial expression. Was he doing well? But then she was laughing all of a sudden. Was that...a good sign? He wasn't entirely sure but not wanting to seem weird he smiled at her too.

The castle?! YES!!! "Oh, me too!" As soon as he had exclaimed this he realized that she might have just said that to get away from him not as a suggestion. "I mean, if you don't mind me going too. I can...walk behind you or something." He added in a quietly, looking back down at his shoes as he said that.

It was rude to stare, right? But anyhow she just continued with the clumsy boy making funny mistakes as some statements she said weren't really true or she just made it up. How lovely she was. It was so nice.

The boy looked very happy as she told him about going back to the castle. Maybe she would just say just kidding and be a bit weird. Listening well this time she was having a little puzzled moment for some odd reason. He had seemed really happy to go back and then it was just blank could she say. "Umm. Okay, I guess so."

Logan nodded, blushing. Yeesh, he hoped they'd learn a spell soon to get rid of the blushing thing. He did it too much around Ella. "That's nice." he said with a smile.

"Yeah, I hate being cooped up inside. I get all restless and crazy." Seriously, she had already burst into song several times during her free time in the castle just to give herself something to do. "I just wish winter was so long. Bring on the warm weather!" Spring seemed so far away but Ella would tough it out until then.

"Same here!" Logan said. Then he nodded with a laugh. "I know, right?" he asked.

The blonde chuckled as Ellie hugged her back. Oh, how she had missed her Ravenclaw. The voice of wisdom in trouble. "Mhmm! Way to long," she began as she kept a smile on her lips, "Just fine? Something wrong with Dallin? You know! I haven't gotten my wedding invitation yet. A pout appeared on the Malfoy's lips as she put both hands on her hips and looked at Ellie.

Oh, Braeden. Her cheeks turned a rosy pink. Merlin. She was blushing like a third year when Ellie mentioned his name! Braeden's name always brought a blush to her cheeks. "[B]I'm great! I made the Slytherin Quidditch Team. Full time this year. However, I missed the first match. I was sick.. But yes, Brae and I have been owling. He owls me every week," said Emma, shaking her head and chuckling. Brae always wanted to keep an eye out on her and she loved the guy so much, "I'm going to be spending the break with him and his family. He invited me and told me that his mother has been pressuring him for months!" chirped Emma.

"Anyway, enough about me! What about you and Dallin?" asked Emma, raising a curious blonde eyebrow at her friend.

"At home when it was warm dad and I used to go to the park and play Frisbee. It was so fun. Ever play?" she asked, curious. She loved afternoons with her dad though they stopped when her brother was born. "What is your favorite thing to do when it's warm?"

"I love Frisbee! It's great..." Logan said smiling. "My favorite thing to do? Hmm....probably just playing guitar. Singing. Painting. Running. Reading comics." he said.

"You do?" Ella asked excitedly. She was eager to play when it got warm. Maybe they could even start a team or something. She nodded as he listed the things he liked to do. They sure liked a lot of the same things! "I'm not much of a painter, I'm more of a sketcher myself." A sketcher? Was that what they were even called? She wasn't sure but she went with it. "I used to sketch my baby brother all the time. My mom has the pictures framed all around our house." Like her own personal Ella art gallery.

"Yeah, I do! We should play together sometime!" Logan said smiling. Now that would be fun! "Sketching is cool!" Logan said. "Oh really? That's cool! I'd love to see them sometime." he said. "I hang up a lot of my paintings in my room." he said.

"Yes please." Ella said happily. She nodded when he said sketching was cool. She thought so. He wanted to see her sketches? Well, that was something she wasn't sure she was ready for. He was an amazing painter and Ella was just-she was okay at sketching. "Sure you can see them-they aren't great though." She said with a shrug. "I mean I was going to invite you to visit anyways-assuming you want to come visit that is- so you can see them when you come-I mean if you want." She was doing that rambling thing again and stopped talking for a minute, letting herself collect her thoughts. "Maybe I can see yours sometime?" Paintings that is. She couldn't help but wonder what his room looked like too.

Logan laughed. "Aww, I'm sure they're good!" Logan said. Then he nodded. "Yeah, of course I want to visit!" he said. "I'm totally up for it." he said. Then he nodded again. SO MUCH NODDING! "Yeah, that'd be great! My house is pretty fun to be at, except for the living with my aunt part. There's so much to explore...the woods are real fun." he said smiling.

Ella appreciated Logan's thoughts on her sketches though she still wasn't sure how good they were. She was very critical of her work most of the time. She gave him a smile and then a kiss on the cheek when he agreed to visit. It excited her, the thought of Logan coming to her house. "You'll enjoy my house, I think. We live with my grandmother in my grandparent's house ever since my grandfather died. It's a big place with lots of rooms to get lost in. The attic is the best part though! I think it's HAUNTED!" She shuddered a little, thinking about the ghost she was sure lived in her attic. Then he was talking about his house and Ella became even more excited. "The woods? That's cool! I love being out in nature. What do you do in the wood?" Make camp fires and tree houses and go for nature hikes? Ella's mind was running wild with possibilities.

Logan smiled as she kissed his cheek. He kissed hers back in return, still smiling. "Oh that's cool!" Logan said. "Oh a haunted attic?!" he asked. "Sounds wicked. And spoooooky!" he said with a grin. "Oh, I sometimes camp out there...climb trees...explore...walk around...Emmy and I built a treehouse there a few years ago. It's pretty neat!" Logan said smiling.

Ella nodded. "It is spooooky!" she said, laughing. "I won't go up there alone anymore. I think it likes me or something, things are always moving up there and making noise when I'm around." It was weird the way things happened around her when she was up there. And it wasn't the kind of things that had happened before she knew about magic, this stuff was creeepy! Ella smiled, hearing about all the things Logan did out in the woods. "Sounds like fun. I had a tree house at my old house before we moved. I used to read out there..." And hide out when mom and dad were fighting, she thought.

The Skrewt scuttled along the pathways, occasionally letting out farts of fire whenever he hit a root in the road.

BOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFT!

Oakey made his way to the pathway after Herbology. His right hand and arm still bandaged from his battle with the Snargaluff. He paused for a moment when he saw the strangest looking creature crawl closer to him. Oakey laughed a little when he heard what sounded like a fart come from it, but stopped suddenly when he saw fire come from could maybe be its backside.
