The Hog's Head?
Seriouslyyyy?
Alina looked up at the sign of the pub, shaking her head at the image that appeared on it. That wasn't such a very pleasant image to show people before they go enjoy their food and drinks... and it sure wasn't a pleasant image for her to see before she went to have a 'meet and greet' with the Security Liaisons person. It was just creepy and scary.
After staring up at the sign for a few minutes, the redhead finally made her way into the pub only to see that a small crowd was already forming. It was good thing because she, for one, didn't like being the first person at gatherings. She inched towards the crowd so she didn't seem like a loner and that's when she noticed someone that looked quite familiar. Someone that she had met a few days ago. Hmm, what was his name again? Graingoth? Nah, that didn't seem right but she remembered it had been close to that.
And since when did he start wearing GLASSES? He looked like a dork!
She took a few more steps towards him and the group of girls he was talking to and waited. Waited for him to welcome her. Oh yes, that's just how Alina Francis rolled.

"Hello," Gevrik called out yet again as another student entered. A different one, at that, since she was ordering butterbeers for three yet remained seated by herself. "You're welcome to join us."
Us being...whoever accepted butterbeer and chocolate from Gevrik, the man supposed.
Selina's heart stopped when he addressed her general direction. Was he talking to her? He could not have been, the irony in that one moment would have been far to great. But then he beckoned to her once more. He was addressing her.
She opened her mouth to speak, yet no words came. For weeks she had been doing her research to find that little to nothing came up on Gervik. And she had been waiting for the opportunity to do some digging. And here it was. Opportunity dressed in silver wrappers. Yet when presented with it she was scared. It had been a concept she had been chasing. When finally put to head with it how would she react.
Looking around at the booth where the two seats would soon be occupied she decided. The little girl got up from her seat and made her way over to his table. "Well, only for a while, sir. I am meeting some friends. But until they arrive I would be delighted to sit down."
We see you, Alina. Sierra is mid-fight with her brother, though. XD

"Yes, that would be correct." His hand reached out for one of the sealed frogs and he brought it back to the girl without breaking their eye contact. Gevrik's hand closed around the candy, however, as if he was waiting for something before he gave it to her.
"May I have your name, Miss...."Greingoth?
In a terrible mood and now at a table somehow closer to Gevrik, Sierra finally found herself being offered the Chocolate Frog she'd agreed to several minutes before the Greingoth War had erupted. With her eyes narrowed in annoyance brought on by her brother, Sierra glanced up at Gevrik. She reached out to take the candy but found that his hand was enclosed around it to the point where it couldn't be grabbed.
Lexi took Mr. Ikenna's hand and shook it firmly before letting it drop back on the table. REally? Did she want something from there. Uh. No. She shook her head vigorously and smiled weakly. "No thank you, sir. I have an aversion to anything served in this place," she said as she thought of WHY that was. Giving another involuntary shudder she smiled again.
...
Chocolate frogs? "A chocolate frog would be pretty awesome though," she added hastily. Hehehe. THAT didn't come from here she was sure of it.
Ivan walked into the Hog's Head and stopped in the entrance way after he'd searched around for Lexi and hadn't found her. Spotting her he sighed and looked around with disgust. Why here? He was almost afraid to step fully inside the place. The dirt and grime and...whatever things were around that he probably didn't want to know might get on his clothes. Shudder.
Taking a deep breath he stuck his hands in his pockets so he didn't like, sit on anything and walked toward her quietly. "For as much as you know I don't like the grossness of places why did you choose here?" he whispered into her ear. Seriously. His eyes went to the dude he'd seen at the feast but hadn't seen anywhere else and gave a nod in greeting and then back to Lexi. Did he REALLY want to sit down? He'd prefer not to stay that was for sure.
Alex had been trying to come up with another retort for Sierra, to embarrass her in front of her friend even more, when suddenly, something WET hit him. He realized a second later that Mia had just spit her drink ALL over his shirt. It was a nice sweater vest too! EWW SPIT WAS ON HIM. And spit that belonged to a GIRL no less!
GROSS GROSS GROSS!
Refusing to show his disgust because he knew it would make her feel bad, he smiled sheepishly and attempted to wipe it off. "It's ok, really!" he insisted. He hoped she didn't have a cold. The last thing he needed was to fall behind in classes due to the flu!
Mia was kinda oblivious to Alex's little feud with his sister seeing how she was so busy trying to clean his shirt off. "I would use my wand to clean it off but I am likely to set you on fire or something." And that would be worse than spitting on him. "I really am sorry Alex." She could see that he did not look very impressed with her spit all over him.

"It's meant to be drank Mia." she smiled, sitting back in her seat as she crossed one leg over the other while crossing her arms.
Trust it to be a Slytherin to see her make an idiot of herself. And Evelyn of all people. "Thank you for the tip. I'll remember that next time." She tried to be sarcastic but failed miserably. Mia was never good at that sort of thing.
"Would you like one, Evelyn?"

Gevrik was useful like that.
Was he laughing at her?
Yes. Yes he was.
"Thank you, Mister Gevrik." She said taking the napkins from him and she couldn't stop her lips from twitching into a smile. "Forgive my ignorance Mr Gevrik but what is it that you do again?" Mia gave him an apologetic smile. "I was kinda distracted at the feast so I missed your introduction."

Lexi rolled her eyes as Ivan spoke to her. "Really... do you think I chose this place? I told you there was a thing going on here. I personally loathe this place. But sit down, don't be so uptight. The clothes are replaceable," she whispered back to him in a grumpy tone.
Ivan and his clothes... really making her wonder how someone could go through life that way. Getting dirty was fun after all. She shot a glance around the room and looked right back to Ivan.

Listening to her speak his eyes went around the place again and then he frowned. Wait...what? "No you didn't. I've been searching for you everywhere." Shrugging he barely stopped himself from taking his handkerchief and sitting on it or at least wiping off the chair. Wrapping one arm around her he sat next to her, "What's the matter?" Wasn't like her to get grumpy or have an attitude with him, well normally, unless she was picking on him that was and she didn't seem to be picking on him.

Marie had been hiding out in the common room trying to stay away from everyone and figure out her issues on her own. Out of boredom she decided to check out the notice board and see what homework she needed to do. However it was a Meet & Greet sign that caught her attention. Maybe she would go. She did need to get out of that common room for awhile... and what better excuse than to meet this security guard guy.
Not able to find any of her friends she decided to go on her own. Maybe she could make some new friends. Walking up to the Hogs Head she seen someone standing there looking like they didn't know if they wanted to go in. Stepping up to the person she seen it was... "Destiny!" she said giving her friend a hug. Now she wouldn't have to go in there alone. "Why you standing out here, aren't you going in?" It would be silly of her not to go in since she did come all this way.
Feeling the cold, Marie grabbed Destiny by the arm. "Come on, let's go in now." She then lead the way in where she seen all her other friends. Well now she knew why she couldn't find anyone. They were all already here. Well all but one. She wasn't going to think about him right now though. Instead she walked over to the bar, where Cedric was standing. "Hey Cedric." She then looked over at Salander and smiled at him. She still needed to pay that boy back for the mess he made of her hair in class.

Lexi sighed a bit and gave a one shouldered shrug. "Well I meant to tell you... I suppose I forgot. Been kind of busy lately," she said in the same foul tone. Man. Ivan had done nothing wrong. Perhaps it was the fact that she really just wanted to set fire to the establishment and roast marshmallows over the open flames after what happened before.
"Sorry. I just don't like this place, nor am I very fond of some of the people here," she said in a tone that only Ivan could hear. Seeing as she was whispering and all.
*Walking in Matty felt a little out of place in the pub. He had never been to it but had seen that there would be a meet and whatever with Ikenna Gevrik. He was hoping to get a better understanding of the man. The talk in the boys dorm with Michael still bothered him. As far as he could tell the professor were acting normal, as normal as Hogwarts staff did. Looking around he saw Mia and sighed. At least he knew someone here. Walking over he leaned down and whispered.*
"Mind if I sit with you for a bit?"
"Hello," Gevrik had decided to greet as many students as possible that just happened to walk into the pub during his little...event. "Are you the Hufflepuff Prefect, Mr....?"
Of course he was. Ikenna could see the badge.
Waiiiit. Did this man had read his Herald update which had a bit of him in it? Cedric, with the butterbeer he ordered now in his gentle grip, turned and shifted his attention to the Security guy. Hmm. His cousin was a division head of Magical Security. He wondered if his cousin actually knew this man.
Cedric bowed ever so slightly, and flashed them a firm smile. "Yes sir, certainly." Mr....? "I'm Cedric Leone."
...
and cue arrival of yet another set of students. He watched as they began to fill in the small pub. Some of the students happened to be some people he knew. He was glad to see Marie with... Destiny? OH, her! "Hey Marie." He grinned at her. Now he considered Marie one of his friends, after their conversation at the Entrance Hall and all. Cedric turned to Destiny, whom he hadn't seen in what seemed like forever. "What's up, Destiny?" He sort of missed Destiny. And it felt weird. Missing her, that is.

Lexi sighed a bit and gave a one shouldered shrug. "Well I meant to tell you... I suppose I forgot. Been kind of busy lately," she said in the same foul tone. Man. Ivan had done nothing wrong. "Sorry. I just don't like this place, nor am I very fond of some of the people here," she said in a tone that only Ivan could hear. Seeing as she was whispering and all.
Looking at Lexi curiously and slightly worried as she sighed he pursed his lips. She was obviously not in a good mood. Would it be better to leave her or stay with her? He hadn't the foggiest idea. Squeezing his arm a bit so he hugged her he smiled, "It's alright. Understandable. It seems whenever I want to study I can't. A never ending cycle so then I have to try the next day...and the next..." Of course he was sure part of him was purposely sabatoging his study time since he REALLY didn't want to.
Hearing what she said he looked around and spotted Mia he stopped himself from giving whatever recognition his face was wanting to do then. Smirk...smile it didn't matter Lexi would probably have flipped. He quickly moved his gaze from her to see Cedric and then the Slytherin's that Lexi didn't like. Ah. Looking at Lexi he smiled "Well I'm here so it's all better," he gave a wink.
Zachary was the kind of kid that you wouldn't even notice at first glance. Short for his age, and shy, he was rather unremarkable in such a remarkable world. The creak of the door welcomed him to the Hogs Head, the sound making the timid boy wince.
The sights and smells of the dingy pub were an assault to his senses. His feet shifted slightly, ready to turn tail and run away. Taking a deep breath, his chest swelling as he lifted his chin, Zachary found the courage to come inside. Hands fidgeting in his pockets, he looked around, putting on a brave face.

Destiny was NOT stalking Evelyn and that little firstie friend of hers.
She. Was. Not.
She just so happened to be walking a few feet behind them and every once in a while, she would duck behind a person..just for the fun of it. And the only reason she ran into that alleyway when she thought Evelyn was turning around was because she thought she saw..a..turtle. It was November. Practically winter and Destiny could not and would not let a turtle freeze.
Which was the reason why she hadn't walked into the Hog's Head. She was standing outside of it making sure that little firstie didn't steal away her BFF! there really wasn't a turtle out all alone in the cold. And just because she was staring daggers inside the dirty and still very dusty pub, didn't mean anything. Nothing at all.
Deciding she was just going to go in, she took a few steps closer to the door only to stop mid-stride as her name was being yelled. She had the sudden urge to raise her arms like the people that get stopped by those policey people, but she couldn't because the yeller was now ATTACKING her! Annnnd..it was only Marie. "Sweet Merlin, Marie! Next time won't you make your presence known?" Because obviously yelling her name did not help.
Opening her mouth to tell her about the BFF stealing firstie poor and cold turtle, she closed it quick when Marie decided to pull her inside. And she continued to pull her right past the reason why she was standing outside. Giving a quick salute to the people standing around, her arm was finally free when they reached the bar and Cedric. Cedric who was asking her what's up? "I'm not really good at guessing games."

Hmm. This was one of those...places from Lexi's past, wasn't it? Ikenna remembered that now. One of those security risks; well, perhaps by having a party here, he could work on changing that image.
"I see," he said softly, as he reached out for a chocolate frog from his pile even before she spoke. "They're sealed. Harmless. I personally guarantee it, Lexi Denver."
Gevrik allowed the sealed Chocolate Frog package to rest in the centre of his large hand and extended the hand toward her. It looked inviting.
He waited for her to take the candy and in the meanwhile, returned the nod to the boy sitting nearby. Interesting place for a couple to come to.

Fascinating children. There were so many of them.

"Hello, hello, and hello," Ikenna looked from Cedric Leone to the entering students. Hmm, it seemed most Houses were well-represented thus far.
Except Ravenclaw. Bias from their Head of House, perhaps? Hmm.
"Care for a butterbeer or chocolate frog? Help yourself." Gevrik gestured from his spot at the bar to the decorated table piled with beverages and candy.

"There's one in every family," Sierra mumbled. Not a Hufflepuff. A black sheep, which is what she'd always called Alex when she was angry with him--like now, for example.
Victory was hers, though. Puffer Girl had just emptied her butterbeer all over Alex's shirt, so Sierra saw that as a fair trade-off for now. With a little huff, she got up and changed to a table, distancing herself from her brother.

Huh, wasn't that the truth.
That didn't make her feel all that great though for some reason. Staring at a spot on the wall opposite herself, the Slytherin shook her head before forgetting about it completely.
"It's not all that bad..." WHAT? "Wait, you two are twins?" Looking from one to the other, and then to the redhead girl who apparently was waiting for something from one of them, Evelyn's eyes widened as she just sat there. Merlin, where was her head during the sorting ceremony to make her miss all of this?
...HOW could she miss this? "Being twins just makes this a hundred times worse." she said, sounding completely serious about it. Hehe.

"Would you like one, Evelyn?"
"I aim to help." she smiled, uncrossing her arms, and letting her arms rest on the arms of the chair. She had done an extraordinary amount of helping this term already then she had in all the others years she was here combined. Hmm, something was wrong with her.
"No, thank you."
Perhaps she didn't take her seriously when she said to not drink anything here? Aw well, still, her answer was no.
SPOILER!!: Marie and Destiny

She then looked over at Salander and smiled at him. She still needed to pay that boy back for the mess he made of her hair in class.

Cedric who was asking her what's up? "I'm not really good at guessing games."
Now there were two voices she knew and loved. Maybe without the love part, but she knew them.
Glancing over towards the door, though not having to look far considering they already made their way into the pub like place, Evelyn smiled and gave a half wave to both of them. Well, it seemed they got the announcement that there was some meet and greet thing going on here.
Was she the only one that didn't know about this beforehand!?
"Umm thank you." *Sitting down he took the butterbeer but didn't drink it. He already had to much tea in him.*
"How are you getting on here at Hogwarts sir?"
*Matty had already sort of met the man the first night but wished to know more. He had done a little digging and had not found a whole lot on Ikenna Gevrik. Taking a seat somewhere near the middle of the group.*
"Perhaps you should try harder. Study with less... people," she said in a short tone. Yeah she was not sure she approved of the little study group he had been with in the library. Especially... certain ones. Or ONE would be more precise. Meh.
She did give him a small smile at his next comment but her concentration was broken as she heard Ikenna speak again..

Lexi smiled sweetly at the man and took the frog from his hand. "I already told you I trust you. I don't think you would try to poison me," she said lightly. Of course she hadn't thought that the barkeep was a mad French dude that was going to Imperius her, either. Shows how stupid she was sometimes.
She ripped open the frog and caught it before it could jump away. She fought the urge to shove the whole thing in her mouth... barely... and settled for ripping off it's leg. Turning to Ivan she held it out and waved it around a bit as if to ask if he wanted a bite. She hoped not... she was pretty hungry.
Hmmm, did she want to go inside or not? Just because there was a meet and greet it didn't mean that Sakura should go. Then again this would be a good chance to meet not only this adult person but also some of her classmates. At least it would if the crowd was anything to go by. Plus she could use a drink.
Nodding to herself Sakura pushed the door open and walked inside, making a beeline for the crowd around the man. Thank Merlin she was wearing her heels again or she'd never be able to be seen. It was actually quite sad to note that she was probably just as tall as some of the first years. Or she would be if she was wearing flats.
"Then I am delighted to make your acquaintance." Gevrik smiled at the timid Gryffindor (ironic, that) and grabbed a butterbeer for her. "What is your name, little miss lion?"
He knew she already knew his.
"Selina Skylar, sir." Selina answered. She was curious if she should announce her whole title, then again he did seem to know a lot about everyone in this school. It would not suprise her if she knew her father was Jake Skylar- the Chaser for the Fowlmouth Falcons, and that her mother was Sophia Skylar- a Ministry of Magic official in the Magical Eductaion Reform. It seemed like if Gervik was as good as a student as everyone claimed him to be, he would know who she was the moment her last name was mentioned.
Then again perhaps he would not, it was random bits of information. And to be far there were hundreds of students at Hogwwarts School.
"Perhaps you should try harder. Study with less... people," she said in a short tone. Yeah she was not sure she approved of the little study group he had been with in the library. Especially... certain ones. Or ONE would be more precise. Meh.

Ivan watched as the man nodded back. At least he was polite. His attention turned to Lexi and he frowned. What was WITH her? "Perhaps," he said tightly and removed his arm from around her propping his elbow on the table and his head on top of his hand.
He didn't miss the small smile she gave him nor the better smile she gave the man either. Turning his head slightly as he saw her waving the frog in front of his face he shook his head. "No, thanks." He stared at the table as his brain went off on its own. He wouldn't deny that he didn't understand her a lot of times but this was almost ridiculous. He hadn't done anything to deserve it. Well not yet anyway.

Was that a hint to behave, at least slightly?
Hmm.
Blinking at the sound of her first name, Sierra hesitantly reached out and finally grabbed a hold of the chocolate frog. Her eyes, however, never left Gevrik. She was suddenly very curious about the man, especially after what he'd just said to her. "What's that supposed to mean?" she asked him. "What makes perfect sense now?"
She involuntarily unwrapped her chocolate frog card as she questioned the man. After swallowing the first bite of it, she added, "Oh, you know my father? How so?" She eyed Alex out of the corner of her eye, thinking now might be a good time for them to press the pause button on the Greingoth War.
She considered asking for a free butterbeer, too. If this man knew her father, then surely he was no one to be feared. Sierra trusted her father wholeheartedly, after all.

Useful, see.
Alex barely had time to register the fact that Gevrik was offering to help him with his shirt before he had flicked his wand and viola! Clean shirt once again. Well that was awfully nice of him! "Thanks!" Alex replied to him with a smile. This guy was turning out to be pretty cool after all--maybe he'd yell at Sierra for being a brat. Hehe.
Wanting to keep up conversation with Gevrik to stay on his good side, he cleared his thought and blushed slightly at his bickering with Sierra before turning to the security man again. "So, erm, you know our father?" he asked. Well wasn't that a surprise. Seemed everyone around here near their dad. It wasn't too important, at least to him--meeting people who knew his highly influential father didn't seem to have any benefit for him at all.

"Oh, please, Alexander Salazar," she remarked. Again, she rolled her eyes at the level of annoyance he seemed to bring with him wherever he went. "We're twins. Get over yourself with the whole little sister thing."
Sierra couldn't help but break out into laughter. It was just too perfect. So perfect, in fact, that she just had to give Mia a big smile and a thumbs up. "Looks like I wasn't the one who ended up dropping it, Alex," she said, with a laugh. "I love the look. You wear butterbeer like an old pro."
Oooooh, how tempting it would be to empty this butterbeer bottle right over her head! Gripping the bottle tighter, he glared at his sister as he cooked up another sarcastic retort in his head. "Well why don't YOU get over yourself with the whole Slytherin thing. Seriously, grow up," he grumbled to her softly. There, he was done. No more sarcastic remarks. Not with Gevrik nearby....he had a feeling he could change back into an intimidating security guard in a heartbeat.
He watched as Sierra moved to another table and just rolled his eyes. And they said GIRLS matured faster than boys? Really?! Who came up with THAT one?

Taking a swig of his butterbeer, he turned around and saw Alina, the girl he'd met at the Whomping Willow, and she was...staring at him. Again. Weirdddd. WHY DID SHE DO THAT?!
It occurred to him a moment later that MAYBE she was just shocked that he was wearing his glasses. He had to remind himself that he hadn't worn his glasses out in public since arriving at Hogwarts.
Or maybe she was just weird.
"Erm...hi Alina. How's it going?" he asked her. Gosh, so weird.

She could see that he did not look very impressed with her spit all over him.
"It's ok, it happens," Alex said with a smile and a shrug. Well, actually--no, it usually didn't. Only in those muggle movies. Still, he was clean now, and it was really his fault that she'd spit on him anyways, cause he'd freaked out over the possibly poisoned beverage.

That didn't make her feel all that great though for some reason. Staring at a spot on the wall opposite herself, the Slytherin shook her head before forgetting about it completely.

Alex, who'd been making an extra effort to eavesdrop ever since his sister had entered the pub, glared at the Slytherin girl. Oooooooh, how tempting it would be to dump a butterbeer on HER head too. Why were Slytherins so MEAN? Or weird, in Alina's case. Weren't there any normal ones out there? Ones who didn't immediately shout "PUFFER BOY!" when he entered a room?
He literally had to bite his tongue to keep the sarcasm down. Thanks SO much for lowering your voice for my benefit, he thought to himself. Wow, his mum was right--he really COULD be snotty when he wanted to. He crossed his arms and just glared at Slytherin girl, not even caring that she was obviously a few years older than him. If he wasn't going to be rude in front of Gevrik, then he'd just stare and freak her out.
Alina was good at it. He could be good at it too.

Guessing games? Heh. It--that question--was intended for her and about her, must you know. Cedric would like to find out what Destiny was up to these days. "How have you two been?" the seventh year tried again but this time he asked both the two Slytherin girls. He grinned, out of habit, yep. "Cedric's the name lest you forgot it Destiny." Cedric chuckled at his own remark, looking at her harder still as if he was inspecting every bit of her face. Well, Destiny HAS grown. She looked more matured. Better.

Cedric turned to the Security guy once again, absent-mindedly. He almost forgot that he went to the pub to meet the guy! Well, as you see, there were plenty of distractions. It's everywhere. "Nice meeting you Mister.. Mister," Ugh.. Mister Gev--what? His name was hard to pronounce! Plus the seventh year's french tongue made it worser still! "I think I'd like a chocolate frog, sir." The uncanny ability to change the subject was always a commodity, no?
How have he found Hogwarts? Want the honest answer? "I find it safe and well-secured as is, sir."

Cedric saw Evelyn waving at their direction and, of course, he knew that was solely for Destiny and Marie. Guh. He knew it! Sooner than later, those two Slytherin girls would join Evelyn and he'd be left behind. Ugh. Salander... when would you start to talk?
Wandering his gaze about the pub, the Hufflepuff prefect caught sight of Lexi and Ivan. So they really did know each other, huh? Cedric gave them a smile.
Turning around and spotting Matthias, Mia gave him a smile. "Sure you can. Where have you been anyway?" Probably locked up in the common room with a book or something.

Ah, Mia had a friend?
"Hello," Ikenna spoke up, as he thought he remembered this boy from the feast. He knew the Hufflepuff was speaking to Mia but was still so...amused that he could not resist answering.
"I don't mind if you sit. Would you care for a buttebeer?" He slid one along the bar to the boy anyway.
Okay. Now she was confused. "If this place is currently insecure. Then why did you invite a bunch of children here?" Mia noticed the wink and she couldn't help but grin at the man. He didn't seem so scary now.
"So is Hogwarts, secure or unsecure Mr Gevrik?" She asked as she raised her butterbeer to her lips and took a sip.

Oh the Slytherin was on fire today. Mia had not witty come back for that, her brain just couldn't think that quickly. So she merely raised her bottle of butterbeer to Evelyn. "You're loss. It's very yummy."
