Hey GG! Hope you are well :) Text Cut: Butterfly and Ame Harvey watched as the young girl Butterfly came over to Ame and asked her if she was leaving "Hey Butterfly.. how are you? havent seen you in a while." he said to her smiling as Ame answered Butterfly's question.. before turning to him "Hey Ame,, you are not just some girl from an orphanage anymore.. you are my friend,, my best friend,, one of the amigos.. you cannot leave.. I will miss you too much.. I mean we have hung out alot over the summer and I was kind of hoping we could hang out here too.. but with you now leaving that would be impossible now wouldnt it.? I cant exactly replace you with another Amethyst Geleto.. a girl from Hufflepuff.. my best friend.. nope.. you cannot leave me.." he said as he put his arm around her.. and wiped her face with his hand.. |
Justin was still out on his run of the grounds. He had just hurt Amethyst and he felt awful. His run was about to come to an end as he came to the front gate. As he approached he noticed Amethyst talking to Harvey and Butterfly was just leaving. He saw a trunk and ran over full speed. " Ame, I need to talk to you. Please. I need to explain something to you....And that trunk best be empty. Because you are not going anywhere. I stopped at the owlery and saw that your owl was gone....." he said completely out of breath. |
For Eve. C: Selena was, in one word, bored. She had absolutely nothing to do and couldn't seem to find Emma so she was strolling around the grounds with Kent on her head and Clarke on a leash, following Selena as she walked. The little cruppy seemed to be a little more cooperative now after the compromise that the cruppy would stop eating Selena's pillows if she allowed the creature to walk on his own. Then there was another one regarding Selena's favorite pair of sneakers - she had then promised Clarke that she wouldn't force the cruppy to wear shoes. Merlin's beard she was bored. What she needed was a distraction. And a lot of sugar. |

"You look awfully bored!" Eva said to the girl as she was about to introduce herself "I'm Eva" |

Gideon was just as guilty as the next person of using such words to answer how one was either emotionally or physically. And it usually was an out and out lie to try and escape further scrutiny or inquiry. And it tended to make the other person worry more. In this case it didn't seem that far off the train of thought especially as Elektra oddly enough backed away from him. The action making Gideon surprised by the girl once more. "Nae...its not nothing if it pains ye like that," he remarked, seeing the way she grimaced in pain as her hand touched the surface behind her. "And ye have to be careful with cuts," he mused, that much he knew from being reprimanded by his granddad the healer growing up. Being tough and rough-n-tumble was one thing but getting ill because you didn't properly take care of an injury was another would say. |

"Selena," Sel said with a BIG smile and holding out her hand for the girl, Eva, to shake. "I'm... not... bored. I WAS..." What was she doing? "Being..." yeah, she couldn't seem to find a word to describe it. WHAT WAS SHE DOING?! Surely not looking bored!! :whaa: Especially not AWFULLY bored. Selena didn't look awful at doing ANYTHING. Because she was AWESOMETASTICAL. Awesometastical people weren't awful. They were awesometastical. |

He has a sister? That graduated last term? She tried to see if his face reminded her of anyone from last term, and then Katie felt stupid, there was only one seventh year she was close too, and that had been her partner in crime, "Caroline?" Katie asked as a smile came to her face. |

Sardiiiine x3 It was kind of cold. That was really the only thing Ellie noticed at first. She was standing in front of the gate, staring off into the forest. But finally, a movement caught her attention and she saw the familiar shape of a thestral. Then she realized there were tons of thestrals. How had she not noticed them before? They were everywhere, right in front of her eyes. By the... where was she? Oh. The front gate. Right. Ellie vaguely remembered actually leaving the castle and walking all the way down the grounds to the iron fence. She didn't even know why she was here. Ellie leaned up against the fence and held on the the cool metal bars as she watched the peculiar animals. They seemed so... graceful. At peace. Much more so than Ellie could imagine being. Ugh. |

He had already spent what seemed like an hour searching for her. And he was about to give up, but then he saw her. Yes, he could see her even from this far away. She was at the gates... just holding onto them, looking up. Following her gaze, Dallin looked up too. And... oh. Thestrals. Dallin frowned. He didn't fully understand how he could see them, since the only person he had seen die was Ellie, and she hadn't really done that, not fully. It didn't matter, anyway. Dallin shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts and expression as he made his way over to Ellie. When he was closer he took a breath... then walked over to her. He looked down as he reached for the gate, holding onto two bars. After a second, he looked up at the thestrals flying over them. ... He didn't know what to say. It had been stupid to come over here in the first place. |
Text Cut: Dallinnnn Watching the creatures was kind of relaxing. Distracting. A little bit of both. It was keeping her mind off of other things she didn't really want to think about, so that was good. Ellie watched one of them land back on the ground and sniff the grass. She froze when she heard footsteps behind her. Part of her hoped it was Dallin because she had missed him the past few days they had been avoiding each other. The other part of her silently begged it wasn't him because this was all her fault. She was the one that brought her past up and made Dallin get upset at her. She was the one to blame for her decisions. The fight was her fault. Dallin was hurt because of her. He wouldn't have left if he wasn't. Ellie was convinced that she was a horrible person. When the person approached the gate and held on, Ellie glanced over at them. It was Dallin. Her heart skipped a beat and she leaned her head against the gate with a small sigh. But a couple seconds, later she stood up straight and folded her arms, looking back up at thestrals. She had no idea what to do. She had no idea what to say. Apparently he didn't either, because he wasn't talking or moving. Then why was he here? Ellie squinted, even though it wasn't sunny. It was just... weird. Being next to him like this. Not talking. Not knowing what the hell was going on. It wasn't good, Ellie knew that. |
He's kind of dramatic. :| Text Cut: Elliiiiiie When the thestrals landed Dallin looked down at his feet. Apparently Ellie wasn't going to say anything. And... Dallin couldn't blame her. He had been the one to come over anyway, it was his responsibility to say something first. What could he say, though? He could apologize, of course... that had been his original plan. But suddenly the words 'I'm sorry' didn't seem to cover it. Dallin hated those words anyway; people used them for things they had no control over... they had lost meaning. He couldn't just tell Ellie he was sorry. It just wasn't enough. He glanced at her, watching her for a moment before looking back through the gate. He leaned back, closing his eyes before pulling himself back up. Then he turned to face Ellie, leaning sideways against a bar in the gate. "Look." He sighed, shaking his head. He wasn't good with words. "I'm an idiot." He had had a few people tell him that, too. Treyen had even hit the idea into his head with a book. So Dallin knew. "And... I shouldn't have walked away... then. And..." He sighed again, shrugging. Was Ellie going to say something, or would he have to keep blabbering like the idiot he was? |
Text Cut: Dalliiiin For a while Ellie wondered if Dallin was ever going to say anything. He was the one that came to her, anyway. Maybe he would just give up and leave again; he seemed pretty good at doing that. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw him look at her. But he still didn't say anything. Maybe Ellie should leave...? But she really didn't want to. She was trying to find places that didn't remind her of Dallin and if she kept running, he might find her and eliminate all other options. Or... maybe she was just being dramatic. That happened sometimes. Finally, Dallin faced her and started talking. Ellie continued to stare out the gate at the forest, chewing on the inside of her lip. She let him finish, or... not quite finish. And then she closed her eyes and silently searched her brain for something to say. "You're not an idiot," she finally said in a quiet voice. He wasn't an idiot, Ellie believed that. She noticed the slight pause before he said 'then' and wondered what it was about. But she didn't ask. Ellie turned to face him, but she stared past him off in the distance. "Your reaction was logical. I don't suppose it would be nice to hear that after all this time, you just started out as a distraction." That was a little harsh, wasn't it? But Ellie really thought that he made a good choice in running away from her. Sniffling from the cold, Ellie shoved her hands in her jeans pockets. She should have worn a coat. "I guess I just... shouldn't have expected any different." It's not like she could have just hoped Dallin would shrug it off and forget about it. Something like that is hard to forget. |
Text Cut: Ellie X33 Finally, Ellie said something. But her voice was so quiet that Dallin could barely hear it. Of course she would disagree with him, though. She always tried to blame things on herself. And although he would have agreed with her a few days ago, Dallin knew for a fact that she was wrong. She was just doing what she always did. She thought Dallin was amazing. If not that, she at least thought he was better than her. And he knew that was wrong for a fact. And he was going to say that, but her next words kind of knocked the air out of him, figuratively speaking of course. No, that wasn't nice to hear. "It's not so nice to hear now, either." He mumbled the words, and he kind of wished he hadn't said them out loud at all. But really, did Ellie have to rub in the fact that Dallin had been a 'distraction?' He got the point. He didn't say anything else to that, though. He just shut his mouth. Until her next comment, that is. She shouldn't have expected any different. What did that even mean? "I had no excuse to leave. It was... stupid." The stupidest thing he'd ever done, according to Treyen. "And whether or not you should have expected something different... it was wrong. And I apologize." See, 'apologize.' He hadn't said 'I'm sorry.' |
Text Cut: Dallin x33 Yeah, that probably wasn't a good thing to say. She realized that after she said it and heard Dallin mumble. Ellie was regretting that. She was regretting a lot of things she had said. Not just today, but the other day too. She couldn't take it back, but she probably could have stopped saying that. Go Ellie. Ellie kept looking off into the distance as Dallin continued to speak, saying that it was stupid of him to leave. Ellie almost wanted to laugh. That wasn't near stupid in comparison to what Ellie had done. She shook her head and was about to say something when Dallin continued. So she shut her mouth and listened again. He apologized. And Ellie wished he hadn't. Chewing her lip, Ellie looked at the ground. Now what was she supposed to say? There were two lists in Ellie's head; things she wanted to say and things she should say. And even though she wanted to just accept his apology and pretend everything between them was alright, she knew she couldn't do that to him. Or them and their relationship. With a big sigh, Ellie rubbed her hands on her cold face and turned to face him. "Dallin... Don't apologize. None of this is your fault. I made a mistake a long time ago, you found out and acted naturally. So, please. Don't apologize." Because it would only make things harder. She looked up at him finally and swallowed the sudden lump in her throat. "I'm sorry, okay? This is my fault. I hurt you and I never meant to. I honestly had no idea...." Ellie shook her head and looked away. She had no idea about anything. "When we first started... flirting or whatever that was, I didn't know what I was getting into. I didn't know that I would fall in love with you. And when I did, I just thought it didn't matter anymore because I pushed passed that stage. But I was wrong, obviously." Ellie laughed sadly and it almost sounded like she was going to cry. "The past always comes back to haunt you," Ellie said quietly, fidgeting with her fingers. And that was true in so many more ways than just this circumstance. Dallin knew what else. Ellie sniffled again and glanced up at him. She didn't know what else to say anymore. Well, she did. But she couldn't bring herself to say it yet. Procrastination was her best friend. |
Text Cut: Elliebear Ellie didn't get it, did she? It wasn't her fault. Not all of it. She and Dallin shared the blame. But she wouldn't admit to that; she'd rather take everything upon herself. And Dallin knew it was to be expected. Sure, Ellie had made a mistake. But what did she count was that mistake? Flirting with Dallin? Or the whole ordeal with Alex? Was her ex-boyfriend even part of the problem anymore? And then she apologized. Dallin looked at the ground again, making a face. He didn't really want to hear it. He didn't know what he wanted to hear, though. He didn't want her to blame herself for everything because that would just make both of them feel worse. He wished they could just forget... but he knew it wasn't that easy. He thought she was finished, but then she just... kept talking. A lot, too. And Dallin didn't have a chance to get a word in until she was done. By that time he was unable to speak, though, because she had surprised him again. The past always comes back to haunt you. Did she meant that figuratively or literally? It could have quite possibly been both. Figuratively, because of the things that happened that were now coming back up in their relationship. Or literally... like her grandma. But her grandma had nothing to do with this. Was Dallin just over-analyzing everything? Because that was possible too. Very possible. Dallin looked back at her finally, and it was then he realized that she was close to tears. He could tell by the way she spoke before. And he didn't want her to cry. Above everything else he did not want her to cry. He kept his eyes on hers for a long moment. With a sigh, he decided to change the subject. Hopefully it would stop her tears. "I... talked to someone." She wouldn't care, right? That he had told someone about their issue? "And they told me what I already knew, somewhere. I just had to hear it. Two years is a long time for a rebound to last." He grimaced at the word 'rebound.' "And no matter what it might've been at the beginning... it doesn't matter, compared to where we are now." "Or were." He didn't know. He hadn't broken up with Ellie. That much had been decided in his mind; his 'I'm done' hadn't meant that he was done with the relationship. He still considered Ellie his girlfriend, and he still loved her. But he didn't know what she thought...of course. |
Text Cut: Dallin. :'( Apparently Dallin didn't have anything to say about what Ellie just said. Which, looking back, didn't really matter. Ellie realized she just sort of blabbed about nothing important. Probably because she was avoiding what she needed to say. Wait... He talked to someone? Dallin had told someone what happened. That definitely didn't make Ellie feel good. It was bad enough what she had done. She felt horrible and now someone else knew. Her stomach was in knots and she wondered who he had told. Louisa maybe? Louisa was already sort of judgmental. What would she think of Ellie now? Ellie swallowed and blinked several times to keep the tears back. She didn't even know why she wanted to cry. This was just stupid. She didn't even really pay attention to what Dallin was saying after he told her that he talked to someone. Dallin said the word 'rebound' and it just sort of echoed in her mind, and pounded at the walls of her head. Ellie rubbed her temples and felt her eyes sting. She shook her head, trying to clear it. What had he just said? It doesn't matter? No. It mattered. It mattered to Ellie. "Dallin, I..." Deep breaths... Ellie blinked again to keep the tears away. "I can't do this anymore," she said quietly, her voice wavering. "I can't hurt you anymore. Or anyone." A tear fell and she quickly wiped it off her cheek. Then she shoved her hand back in her pocket, her fingers holding onto the familar, circular pendant necklace. "I just suck at relationships." And it was true. The first one ended in a disaster and it just led to a new one that ended the same way. Well, not the same way. But it ended in a disaster. Either way, both of the disasters were her fault. And she just couldn't let other people get hurt because of her. |
Text Cut: *dead* No. No, no, no. Hadn't she heard what he just said? It was okay. Everything would be okay. She had to stop crying and shaking her head. She needed to listen to him and believe him. Really believe. Because he was right. It was okay. I can't do this anymore. Just like a few days ago, Dallin felt what seemed like a physical blow to his chest. And it was bad enough to bring the sting of tears to the back of his eyes. He squeezed them shut, his hands balling into fists for a moment before he opened them again when Ellie finished talking. I can't do this anymore. The words echoed in Dallin's mind, clouding it up. He couldn't think anything except "No, no, no..." And it took him another moment to realized he had said the words out loud. "Ellie," he stepped forward, stumbling a little, and tried to take her hands. They were in her pockets though, so he gave up on that and put his hands on her shoulders instead. "Ellie," His voice cracked, and he shut his eyes again. "I can't let you go again." He wouldn't do it. He wouldn't. All that he had gone through to keep her here with him... he wouldn't throw that away. Even if that was selfish, he didn't care. "Ellie." He shook his head, looking in her blue eyes. Her blue-before-the-white-of-waves blue eyes. "Don't leave me Ellie." Please. |
Text Cut: ;_____; Ellie felt a pain in her chest and wondered if it was possible to feel her heart breaking. No, no, no... She clenched her jaw and tried her hardest to block him out, but she couldn't do it. It was too hard. She loved him, she really did. She just couldn't do it anymore. When Dallin stumbled towards her, Ellie didn't make an attempt to stop him or help him or anything. She kept her fisted hands in her pockets. But Dallin's hands were on her shoulders. She wished he wouldn't touch it. It would have been so much easier if he would have kept his distance. But it still would have been hard. Even if he were miles away, it would still be hard. His voice cracked and Ellie looked at the ground. She couldn't even try and stop the tears anymore. Ellie alternated between pressing her lips together and biting them. Why was he making this so hard for her? Ellie had to do this! It was for the best. Ellie looked up through watery eyes to see Dallin looking down at her. She felt her heart drop to her stomach when he said, 'Don't leave me Ellie.' She took in another deep, shaky breath and grabbed his hands on her shoulders. "I have to." Slipping the necklace into one of his hands, Ellie quickly lowered his arms to his sides and stood on her tip-toes. A kiss placed on the corner of his mouth. And Ellie was gone. Running away. |
Text Cut: Real tears, here. He could tell it was coming. As soon as Ellie grabbed his hands, Dallin knew what she was going to do. Leave him. And he had to stop her. But there was no time. In a split second she had kissed him, and ran off. His brain didn't have time to function. He was alone. After almost two years of being together, after Ellie and Dallin had both almost lost their lives, after summers and Christmases and kisses and everything, they were really done. Dallin felt the ground underneath him; he had lowered himself to a sitting position on the ground. A coughing sob came up his throat as he put his head in his hands... and felt something in his palm that he hadn't realized was there before. With a shaky breath he opened his eyes; it was the necklace. Ellie's necklace that Dallin had given her for Christmas. The one with the wave and the circle. Ellie had given it back. He wanted to run after her. He wanted to find her, tell her that he loved her, and that he couldn't let her do this. But his legs didn't want to move. So he just sat, holding the necklace tightly in his fist, leaning against his legs, staring blankly at the ground in front of him. They were done. Because Ellie didn't want to hurt him anymore. She didn't want him anymore. |
High on the gate is a RED FLAG. It waits to be captured or just admired. ooc: FLAGS GAME INSTRUCTIONS |
Seeing as the Front Gate had been given as Lion territory and the location of their House Flag, Gideon headed there first. No better place to start and perhaps meet up with some of his fellow housemates to try and create some sort of plan. It might just be a game but just running off with no idea but you or others were doing wasn't going to help much. Reaching the stone and iron gate, Gideon absently touched it with his non-charmed hand before turning around and leaning against ito await sight of any others. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h2...el/2ench9c.gif |
