Having spent what was one of the more...colorful lessons in Charms class, Kurumi was actually relieved that their homework was something active and involved being outside. Besides, autumn was a fantastic time of year and all the leaves changing colors around Hogwarts was a beautiful sight to see.

Approaching the front gate, Kurumi waved when she saw that Gideon was already there. "Hey Gideon," she smiled, twirling her wand in her fingers, and looking up at their flag. She looked at it and then back at him, giving him a knowing smile. "So, you ready to be the knight you keep calling yourself?"

Seeing Kurumi heading his way and waving at him, Gideon waved back with a smile. "Hey Kurumi," he greeted back straightening up as he stood before what he had been leaning against. The boy couldn't help but chuckle at the comment, reminded of the medieval role that he tended to be linked with.

"Technically its Selina that calls me a knight," he replied in half-jest despite the fact that it was mostly true. "But I'm up for the task of keeping things safe if need be." Gideon briefly glanced up to where he had spotted the red flag attached before lowering his gaze back to his friend. "Does that mean you will be out there finding the others'?"

Kurumi giggled. "Oh, right, sorry." She tried to imagine Gideon calling Selina Princess and her smacking him upside the head with a Beater's bat. As long as her best friend did it when she wasn't looking, that is all she asked. "Understood," she said, giving him a knowing nod. "I suppose I could try to put my Seeker training to good use." It ought to count for something, right?

Kurumi stopped twirling her wand and glanced back up at the flag. "I guess....should start getting a move on. Those flags aren't going to capture themselves."

Kurumi pointed wand at her left hand and twirled it from the wrist and tapped it. "Prehenso." Ug, she really didn't like the tingly feeling at all.

Jezz found herself at the front gate and smiled at both Gideon and Kurumi. "Hey guys." She kept her eyes open for anyone trying to get to the flag. She was so going to start on defense then work her way to become and attacker.

The Gryffindor boy waved the appology off for there was no reason for Kurumi to feel the need to be sorry for the mix-up. "Sounds like a plan. Probably better at hiding anyway," he commented though in no way meaning it in a bad way. The chaser just knew he tended to stick out as a sore thumb nowadays when hiding because of his height...and curly hair.

"Probably," Gideon agreed with a nod, watching his fellow fifth year apply the charm on her hand. He was about to offer applying it to her opposite so she could use both hands to grab when he spotted another girl and Gryffindor teammate approach.

"Hey Jezz," he greeted back, remembering the girl from when Kacie had introduced him to her friend in the common room. "Ready to have yer first batch of classroom fun?" There were exciting classes and classes that were soso and this one was shaping up as the former and the first of the term if he wasn't mistaken. "Do ye prefer defense or offense?"

LuLu stopped and hid for a minute or two she couldn't think of anything... to do nor say.. she bit her lip so tight that it was almost bleeding she sighed and ran to the gate as fast as she possibly could would the gripping charm work again or would she need to try somthing else..

ALL such a risk she couldn't think of any spell or she probably couldn't cast aby in time so doubtfully she put her charmed hand out and reached for the flag

Gideon was keeping an eye out for any sign of movement as he waited by he gate. It was too quiet for some reason and wasn't sure what the other teams had planned. He caught sight of something out of the corner of his eye and quickly turned to a Ravenclaw run towards the flag and grab for the fabric still high above her.

"Not so fast!" he yelled rushing at her and reaching to take hold of her.

The gripping charm worked! The RED FLAG is possessed by Ravenclaw.

Where was Kurumi ? Was this a return attack. Had the older girl been captured trying to take the Ravenclaw's flag? Jezz ran off heading for Ravenclaw territory.

REALLY????

She needed it for Ravenclaw so she ran casting spells behind her she didn't even turn to see if the worked she just legged it hoping she'd out run the gryffindors

She hide until she saw them go after the ravenclaw girl she climbed up on the gates and reached to get the flag on the highest part.

So that was how it was gonna be.

Not only had she managed to grab the flag with her charmed hands, the younger girl was running AND hurling spells at him! How very Slytherin of her but wrong house behavior for an eagle. Trying to outrun someone who had longer legs wasn't very smart.

Dodging the hastily cast spells from the Ravenclaw, Gideon took off after her no about to just let her go with their flag. He wasn't about to let his house down so quickly.

"SORRY," she shouted back at him the spells didn't seemed to have worked but just in case "Protegro," she whispered she tried to runfaster and faster the shooting spells thing she was giving up on, besides what was the point if there was no one fighting back she panted again still not stopping but she was still ahead of the boy on the run so maybe she had a bit of a chance

Jezzabelle had grabbed Kurumi and returned just in time to find the girl who had grabbed their flag still there. She went in for the tag coming from behind the girl. There was no way she was going to get away with that flag. She'd chase her all over the grounds if she had to.

She had longer legs than this girl so she wasn't a problem she ran faster

Jezz still wasn't going to give up. The girl could run as fast as she wanted. She wasn't going to resort to spells to win. She pushed herself harder and reached out for the girl's shoulder which was so close.

Returning empty handed, Kurumi could do nothing else but laugh it off. "Sorry Gideon, didn't capture the..."

Kurumi took off towards the Ravenclaw.

Kurumi stopped and looked at Gideon, giving him a quick nod before bending down on the ground and point her wand at it. "Glacius!" Freezing air came out of her wand and froze the ground in front of her and the running Ravenclaw.

She hid and waited for a chance to get the flag.

This girl would not give up oh well looked like she'd have to run the way to Ravenclaw base she headed over to the duckpond "Protegro," more of them aghh

LuLu was gone out of the gryffies hands she had the flag now

OOC;I was incormed that I could leave so don't both doing spells anymore

Jezz stopped chasing after the girl. She wasn't throwing spells. She was just trying to have fun and tag the girl but it didn't stop her for throwing them at the little first year. She looked at Kurumi and Gideon. "I'm going to go on the offense." If anything she could manage to steal a flag herself. She made her way to Slytherin territory.

This was getting ridiculus...

Jezz had returned and joined him in his chase, the Ravenclaw just barely avoiding his grabs. After a few failed attempts from the younger Gryffindor he couldn't help but sigh, stopping in his tracks to catch his breath. Hearing Kurumi talk as she too returned, he was about to yell for her to catch the Ravenclaw when the prefect had already noticed the girl and sent a freezing charm at the ground in hopes to trip her up. Gideon almost attempted his own spell but remembered he had cast a shield charm at him so until it failed he couldn't do much magic wise.

"Uggg....what are we going to do?"

She ran off back to the Slythern territory quietly since this one hadn't got a flag anymore.

By the time Eino reached the Front Gate he could already see that someone was holding the Gryffindor flag... and it was a Ravenclaw! Eino waved his hands high in the air to get her attention, and when her eyes met him he gestured towards himself and then pointed towards the Duck Pond. Hopefully she would know what that meant. She had to make a run for it and he could cover her back. After that, he ran towards the Duck Pond, looking over his shoulder occasionally to make sure that she was following him.

Jez flung herself into the game, grinning with delight. This was so fun! She noticed Lulu trying for the flag as well, and she sped towards her. She also noticed the ice, jumping over it before she could slide. That was Kurumi's spell, wasn't it? Jez couldn't help herself.
Pointing her wand at the Lioness, Jez cast the first spell that came to mind. "Rictusempra!" The Tickling Charm, as it were. Heh.
She then turned, meaning to cover Lulu's back as her teammate got away with the prize. Awesome game!

Kurumi saluted as Jezz made her way away from the front gate and glanced over at Gideon when he spoke. "Get them the next time?" she said with a small shrug. "Or...we could go for reinforcements." Well, one of them anyway. One should probably stay back and keep an eye on things for whenever their flag returned. One flag down wasn't such a big thing. She was sure that they would be able to make it up eventually. It was all a game and the important thing was that they were honing their charms abilities anyway.

Just then, she felt something hit her back and suddenly she felt as though she were being tickled by thousands of feathers and began to roll around on the ground. WHAT was that for?! Kurumi could just barely make out a Ravenclaw girl in the distance and she sort of groaned. They had their flag already. Was hitting her with a spell from behind really needed even if it did put her in a giddy mood. Laughter had that effect on people.

She pointed the wand at herself. "Finite." There, no more laughing for now. Merlin did her sides hurt.

"Gideon, I trust you to hold down the fort!" she called as she scampered off somewhere.
