Ducks, fifteen in all and quite possibly already named, live in this pond. Go on, take a seat on the rocky ledge and dip your feet into the water! Rest assured, these ducks will not bite, but if you just so happen to have any type of bread or cookies on you at the time, the ducks have been known to take without asking.
Waylon keeps a good eye on the pond and the ducks, so no funny business.

Heheh. Ellie saw Dallin's head snap over at her when she tried to lure the duck to eat his bread. But, hold up! Sexyduckfeedingboysaywhaaaaaaaat? He just tried to up her! His bread was so NOT as good as Ellie's. "He's lying!" Ellie whispered frantically to the the duck.
But she had to admit, Dallin was pretty hot. :| As soon as he said that, though, the duck quacked loudly and flailed his wings around like he just escaped the mental duck institution. His quacking and flailing made Ellie squeal and fall back on her bum right as the panicking duck flew away from the pond. Ellie's face looked something like this: >:O "Dallin, look what you did!" She whined, watching the little duck fly away. "Your ego scared the duck away and now he's going to starve." Ellie pouted a little and threw the rest of her sandwich into the pond. She watched as the other ducks attacked it. How rude.

He KNEW how she was, especially with two years and a few months of being together (and that wasn't counting the years they were just friends).
"How cold was that pond water exactly?" He pulled out his Slytherin robe out of his bag now and wrapped it around her as well, even if he had been planning on using it to dry himself up. "I never said we didn't have the same birthday, love." He winked at her. "I just generally stated I love parties." Didn't he? Or had he already forgotten he said something else?
"Hugs?" He smirked before pulling her close and wrapping his arm around her. "I guess we could do that." Heh.
OH! "Do you want a cupcake?" ^__^ He was willing to share the only cupcake he had left in his bag right now. Maybe it would warm her up. Somehow.

" Well, then let's go in and I'll pick up some sandwiches for us. What kind would you like me to get for you?.... Turkey right? " Justin asked then realised what her favourite kind was. " And a Diet Coke. " he smiled as he helped her to her feet.

"I do not!" Meh. Amelia didn't like to hear him say that, because it made her sound mean and too big. She couldn't help it that she was practically six feet tall. D: "They ARE my friends," she corrected him. She was friends with all of the animals besides the ones that tried to bite or sting her. Or Beast because he was the devil in cat form. One of these days she was going to kill that cat with a lightsabre.
She snuggled into the robe he had given her. She was so lucky to have him. "It's cold." And she gave another sneeze now. UGH. "I love them too!" She always loved parties because she got to dress up in pretty clothes and dance. Oh, and talk to her friends!
She nodded now and snuggled into him, smelling both him and his robe. The robe smelled like pond water now, but there were still traces of him on it, so it was absolutely lovely. "I want cupcakes and Twilight." Twilight could cure anything and everything. That, and Zayden hugs.
The brunette's hands fell into the pocket of her robe now, standing in front of the other girl. Val's guess what that she was about the same age as her, maybe a year older, perhaps? Valentina wasn't exactly sure. She was defiantly somewhere around Val's age though meaning after Val scolded her for having her feet in the water Val would take an attempt at being friendly after all, she was new and did need friends. The girl didn't seem that bad, really minus the fact that she had her feet in that icky water. Val would still judge her slightly over this though! Only slightly!
She smiled now, kind little smile before eying the girl's feet in the water and wincing. "Well, I'm sure more things live in that water than just ducks...."She probably sounded rude, like a know it all but it hadn't been her intent. It was just her natural tone. Heh.
Just because she was kinda freaked out by the girl's words, Brookie slowly retreated her feet, taking them out of the water and resting them next to her. Her bright blue eyes couldn't help but drift back over to the water. What was she referring to? WAS THERE A MONSTER IN THE WATER? Just like there was a squid in the lake!? There couldn't be.. Right? It was a pond.. nothing could like.. eat her, right? Especially the ducks.
Instead of sitting there, Brookie stood up, slipping back into the flip flops she had brought along with her, eyes drifting back to the water every now and again. "Like what, though? I mean.. a squid lives in the lake but i don't think one could live in here too.." It was too small, wasn't it? Well.. for a GIANT squid, yes. But there was something that Brooke just wasn't getting, wasn't there?

Suddenly the duck squawked really loudly, causing Dallin to jump in surprise. He was going to be embarrassed and sympathetic, but then he realized that Ellie had fallen back onto her backside as the duck flailed. That... made Dallin laugh. Hard. So hard, in fact, that he also fell back. He kept laughing for a second before leaning forward over his bent knees and trying to stop laughing.
Her last words made Dallin's laughter stop short. His ego? Whatever. The duck had been scared away by the two humans staring at it, not by Dallin saying he was hot. He frowned, tossing his piece of bread into the water. Welp. There ya go, ducks.

Opening a box of Bertie Bott’s , Gwen asked Jory if he wanted some. Taking one herself,the girl immediately wished she hadn’t. ‘Phew… liver’, she announced and looked quite disappointed. ‘Hey- do you think ducks can eat these too?’, the third year asked.
Jory was very surprised to get a hug from Gwen. She'd always been a bit moody and didn't seem as if she cared much that he was her friend. But he hugged her back, pleased to see her after the long holidays and wondering if she'll be more friendly this year. "I'm great, as always,'' he said grinning noting Gwen had gotten a bit taller. "What about you? Made any Potion in the Lab as yet?'' He knew Gwen liked to brew potions in her spare time.
Jory threw some more bread into the pond for the duck which had strangely followed him to the other side. "Summer was just fun. Vacationed in Hawaii-again. I'm never tired of that place. Didn't Ari tell you? My parents invited her to come with us.'' Jory sat down next to where Gwen had been sitting. "What did you do? I didn't even get an owl from you.''
The Huffie took up Gwen's offer. "Thanks." He laughed in amusement at his friend's disgusted face. "I love eating these. You ever know what's the next flavour you'll be having,'' Joy said taking a cautious bite into his green coloured bean. "Cucumber,'' he informed Gwen and popped the entire bean into his mouth. Chewing, he thought of her question in more amusement. "Nah, I don't think so,'' he answered as he watched the creatures enjoying the fuss made about them. "They'd probably choke.'' Jory threw the duck some more bread. "Did you check out the theater?"
Ellie grinned at the boy. It seemed she hit exactly Messer's problem with the Elves. "Yeah," she nodded, "What with those big eyes and funny ears," she held her hands up to her head, mimicking Elf ears, "They're small, skinny bodies and gross cloths that they wear." And their HANDS. Their hands weirded her out.
That was nice. "I started out as Beater, you know." Facts. As for Keeper, it was better for some than for others. Personally, Ellie wasn't a fan of playing Keeper. She didn't like being mostly restricted to the scoring area. She liked to fly around and be in the action more.
"Yes. Yes. And those ears definitely make them weirder." He was glad someone was in the same boat as him. Now he know why he likes Ellie so much. "Yes. One of the elf at my Nana's house used this huge pink sombrero." he told Ellie.
Messer blinked his eyes in surprise. "Really?" Wow! He likes Ellie more and MOAR.
The eleven years old eyes went to the ducks who were playing with each other. "Do you think there are any creatures live in the pond except those ducks?"Maybe an alligator?

"Sombidiminino?" She knew not much of Muggle things. Especially Muggle things that weren't directly connected with England. She had her cousins for the basic, general knowledge of British Muggle things, but....it still wasn't a whole lot.
Grin"Really. Played Beater my whole first term. Wasn't until my third that I played...Chaser? or Keeper?" Honestly she couldn't remember which she played before she took over for Jim. "And end of third year I played Seeker." So, really, Messer could play any position. He could even learn to love one he thought he'd hate.
Creatures? The girl leaned over to glance into the pond. "Maybe fish," she shrugged, "The REAL aquatic creatures live in the Lake." The magical ones that could EAT you if they so chose.
Maybe. Maybe her imagination was exaggerated.

Ellie was about to feel better about herself when Dallin also fell on his bum, but then she realized that he was laughing. At her. Well that was certainly rude, wasn't it? Ellie scowled and let him have a moment before lifting her arm to hit him. But... he stopped laughing.
Suddenly, Dallin looked upset and Ellie watched as he tossed his bread into the water. Ellie offended him about his ego. "Oh, come on. You know I'm kidding, Dallin." Ellie tried reasoning with him. And she had been kidding! It probably wasn't his ego. "Ducks are just weird. And your ego is... fine. It was a joke." And Ellie should probably shut up before she made it worse.

Jade Skidmoore walked outside and watched as people surrounded something. She tilted her head to the side as her curls cascaded to the right of her. Wait, was that a...duck pond? She hurriedly walked down the hill and there it was. She smiled as people were feeding ducks and she wished that moment that she had bread to feed them. She passed the people and took a look at the pond. It was breathtaking. It really was. She took a seat on the rocky ledge and took off her sandals. She placed them next to her upon the grass and dipped her feet into the cold water. She mentally noted that this would be her secret place to think instead of the fourth floor corridor.
