Ducks, fifteen in all and quite possibly already named, live in this pond. Go on, take a seat on the rocky ledge and dip your feet into the water! Rest assured, these ducks will not bite, but if you just so happen to have any type of bread ~~or cookies~~ on you at the time, the ducks have been known to take without asking.

Waylon keeps a good eye on the pond and the ducks, so no funny business.

Ella watched Logan as he sang to her. She could not believe how good he sounded. When he finished she felt her jaw drop. She wanted to say something but no sounds were coming out of her mouth. Why were no sounds coming out? What on earth? She took a breath and that seemed to help. "Logan that was-you are-I can't believe" Apparently I've forgotten how to talk...snap out of it Ella. "Wow. That was just-wow." Okay, not the best recovery but at least you said something. She shut her mouth and smiled, not wanting to ruin the moment with anymore babbling.

Logan looked at Ella who's jaw had dropped. He looked at the ground as she spoke to him. She was really making him blush. His face was literally a tomato now! "Well.....thank you." he said, smiling shyly. Well he never though of himself as that good...but if Ella though of him that way, maybe he was.

Violet laughed. "IF you become an Animagus which will be a super long time." Violet felt herself flush at his wink again. Gosh, she couldn't help herself smile when he did that.

Maxwell said noting that Violet was somewhat staring at Jordan, but Maxwell didn't care he was used to people paying attention to his friends looks he was, after all a metamorphagus. Violet wasn't sure what Maxwell was saying. Her eyes were losing focus on him. The next moment, she blacked out and slumped into Max's arms.

Maxwell caught Violet in his arms. "Violet!" He said shaking her arm. "Violet please wake up!?" Maxwell didn't know what was going on he thought if worse came to worse he could always use the vial of Phoenix tears he always had on his person, you never knew when they'd come in handy.

Jordan returned to the Duck Pond, he had found Jez In Hogsmeade and thought that he'd come back to see Max and Violet. He reached the pair announcing his presence with "Guess who's back?!?!" before looking at the scene in astonishment, "What happened?" he asked.

Hmm when and where to start? Ella wasn't sure. With classes and holidays coming up it would be hard to find time but she would. Anything to spend more time with Logan. She looked at him curiously when he mentioned the room of requirement. "The room of what? I've never heard of it but it sure sounds interesting." A place in the castle that she had never heard of? Excitement was already building in her as she loved to explore. She wanted to know more. "How do we use this-this room of requirement? Do you need permission or a password or something?" She was sure there had to be some kind of catch or else why wouldn't she have heard about it before?

Then, when you open your eyes a door will appear and you can go in and the room will have whatever you were thinking of." he said, nodding. Violet's fingers started twitching again and she slowly opened her eyes. She found herself looking into the eyes of Maxwell, so full of worry and his friend Jordan beside him. She was confused. How had she gotten here?

Maxwell was extremely worried but now less so. "Are you all right!?" He asked hugging her. the he looked into her eyes, holding the sides of her face in his hands. "How are you feeling?" He asked.

Violet was still out of focus. Who was this guy? "Um..who..are you?" She hoped that she hadn't hurt the boy's feelings, but her head still hurt and she needed some time to rest. "Um..can I just get up?" Violet tried to get up from the awkward position she was in with the boy.

Honestly, Arya was surprised the ducks were still around this late in the term. Didn't they migrate south? She would migrate south for the term, if she were a duck. Scotland got cold faaaast.

And seven years was clearly not long enough to adjust.

Though the prefect supposed they were waiting for something. More cold maybe. Or for the free food to stop coming, which would never happen so long as she was around.

Leaning over the rocky ledge, she waved the half-loaf of bread in the air, enticing the nearby ducks.
