Just as Aaron wanted to take a bit off another cookie, something knocked him over. He crushed the cookie in his face, rolling over the ground like some... something that rolled.
'Well, THAT was unexpected.' Aaron wiped his face and climbed to his feet, looking around to see what had pushed him over. 'Ah. Hello there!'
He held his hand out to the boy who was sat on the floor now. That was an odd way to introduce yourself..
Aaron shrugged, he could remember the time when he had met a certain scary Slytherin like that... 'I'm Aaron Roberts.'

Gustav looked up at the boy. He was seeing two faces at one time, was that even possible? He rubbed his throbbing forehead so he could ease the pain. He took the boy's hand with his other as the boy helped pull him up.
"Uhh...sorry...I didn't mean to knock into you..."he muttered an apology. He saw the mess he had caused from the accidental impact.
"Sorry about the cookies...I will get you another one,"he said quickly.It was a force of habit he couldn't stop doing it. Since he was bullied before back at his old school, something like this might get him into a rough brawl.He thought it might happened again this time round.

Thea nodded and shrugged at Kurumi's reponse. Whatever. She just needed to get Daichi some contact with ducks before he drove her insane.
Sighing, she crossed her arms as Kurumi tried to persuade Daichi to go and see the Groundskeeper.

Watching the ducks, she automatically frown. Why would anybody want a duck?! Out of all the things you could have.. why a duck? Thea would rather have a small elephant. Well.. that almost seemed like favouritism as she liked elephants. A lot, actually. Even after the Slytherin had nearly been eaten whole by Squishy, he still wanted one.

Thea looked up, to see Daichi poking his tounge out at her. An eyebrow went up as she snorted. 'Whatever..' she waved a hand. However, she did nod in agreement with Kurumi. 'Can we go now?.. This is taking so long it's untrue.' Seriously. Thea had expected to nab the duck and GO.. She had not expected so many complications in Daichi's plan. She snorted in disgust as she watched Squishy clean his feathers. 'I honestly do not understand why you still want to be around them since Squishy over there nearly ate you alive..' The Gryffindor shurgged.

"That doesn't necessarily mean Nate'll have to be put into care, I've ran away from home and I've been doing fine!" he said, "What says that Nate... Wait, whats happened to Pam's parents?" he carried on, "On second thoughts, I'm going to have to go into hiding sometime soon aren't I? Seeing as I'm now a target..."

"Valid point," Nate conceded calmly to Jez' comment. "Keep in mind that my life, and the lives of those around me, are on a far higher level of importance than some stupid Wizarding law." It was true, he would duel to the death to keep people safe. But Jordan also had a point. Nate strode over and threw an arm around his shoulders. "You're with us now!" he said. That meant that they were no longer a trio, though, and the whole thinking of names thing was started over from scratch....

Aaron grinned at the boy, he seemed worried. He helped him up and then wiped the last few cookie crumbs off his clothes.
'Ohhhh, that's okay.' He nodded happily, everyone fell over people now and then, right?
Aaron could hardly go blaming people for falling over when he'd been the one to fall through his sister's bedroom window last summer..
When fall-over-boy offered to get him a new cookie Aaron chuckled and got the bag of cookies out of his pocket. He held it out to him.
'Want... crumbles?' They were still somewhat intact. 'It's M&M chip.'
Aaron took a few crumbles and stuffed them in his mouth. 'I'm Aaron, by the way!'

Adam was still having a hard time wrapping his brain around the fact that Louisa had gotten a detention, let alone the fact that she had spent that detention with Paulie, his best mate. Of course the rather curious side of Adam could hardly wait for Louisa to get there and give him the scoop on what they had to do, and what exactly they had gotten the detention for. After all rumor had it that the room they had served detention in was called Lover's Lair, and well...knowing Paulie and Louisa that just made no sense at all.

Trotting down to where she'd arranged the meeting with Adam, Louisa made sure not to bring her cat Viola along. Ducks were around so... didn't cats ear ducks? Yeah, well, she wasn't going to risk it. "Adam!" She spotted her friend nearby and ran up to him with a small smile on her face. "How're you?" She flopped down on the grass, crossing her legs expecting him to follow suit. They should take advantage of the unmuddy grass.

She knew he wanted the updates with her BAD detention with Paulie from yesterday bit she waited on that bit. She was afraid that if she started telling the story right off, he'd think she was being mean to his best mate. But really... how could Paulie be Adam's best mate? Couldn't Adam pick someone... less goofy?

Ella sat smiling at the ducks. She wished that she had something to feed them as they were eying her. Guiltily, she held out her empty hands so that they could see. "Sorry guys, I've got nothing." Ella wished she had her camera with her but she had foolishly left it up in her trunk. "Nice going." Ella wasn't feeling herself lately and she wasn't sure how to work out her feelings. Instead she chose to wander around the castle and the grounds looking for distractions.

Logan was jogging around the grounds (again) and stopped once he reached the Duck Pond. He needed a place to rest, he was kinda tired! He took out his water bottle and took a big swig of it, when he noticed Ella. He put his water bottle away and walked up to her and sat next to her. "Hey, Ella!" he said smiling.

Ella turned when she heard her name and smiled when she realized it was Logan. "Hey there!" She slid over so Logan had enough room on the rocky ledge. She noticed that he looked kind of tired. "Were you out running or something?" She loved to run around the grounds, it was a great way to sort out her thoughts.

"Yeah, I was!" He said smiling. "Just running around. I love running, it's real great." he said. "How are you?" he asked.

At the enthusiastic call of his name Adam turned to spot Louisa coming towards him, a rather wide smile on her face. Well...detention must not have been that awful if she was smiling so much. "I'm doing alright. Just enjoying how incredibly nice the weather is," Adam said with a small smile. Following in Louisa's steps, Adam plopped down onto the ground next to her, pulling his knees towards his chest. "I wasn't quite sure what to expect with the ducks since I've never really been around more than one or two at a time, but they actually seem quite pleasant," Adam said with a little chuckle.

He wasn't sure whether or not it was rude to ask Louisa right off the bad how her detention was, but Adam was so curious he couldn't help himself. "So....how was your detention? I have to admit I feel kind of in the dark. All I know is that you had detention with Paulie and that the name of the room was Lover's Lair, which I have to admit had me chuckling because that's not exactly the kind of room I would have picked you and Paulie to have fit into together," Adam said with a laugh. I mean...Paulie and Louisa being an item? That's just ridiculous...

"I love running too! I did it all the time at home." She said smiling at Logan. "I'm-Well, you see I'm...I don't know what I am." She shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes. She must sound ridiculous to Logan but she genuinely didn't know how she was doing at the moment. She was on a bit of an emotional roller coaster.

"Sweet!" Logan said, smiling. Then he raised an eyebrow. "You...you don't? Are you alright, Ella?" he asked.

Ella looked out at the ducks, trying to think of how to explain her feelings to Logan. She bit her lip and decided she had better get on with it. Still focused on the ducks, Ella began to talk. "I've been feeling a lot of different things lately. I love it here and so I'm happy most of the time. Then there's classes, which cause me a whole lot of stress cause I'm so worried about not doing well. And then there's the fact that I miss home and I'll start feeling sad only to see you and feel so happy again..." Did I just say that out loud!? "I mean I'm happy when I bump into any of my friends..." Especially you. She chanced a quick glance at her friend and continued. "It's just a lot, you know? I had no idea anyone could ever feel so much at once!" She sighed and gave Logan a shy smile, embarrassed for going off on such a tangent.

She looked out at the pond where a few ducks were floating and flipping their wings. Others were picking up some bread crusts perhaps? Louisa smiled and nodded, "Yeah, they're cute." Chuckling, she added, "Which's why I didn't bring Viola along. I mean she is a lazy cat compared to other cats but... I couldn't depend on that for her not to attack the duckies." The good-looking man would be mad then and she still had to take a picture of him to show Kita during Christmas break.

Luckily, Adam was even more eager to know. Well.. there goes her ranting. She quickly crossed her legs and took on a serious face expressions. "I know, right?" SCOFF. "Your best mate, my dear friend, is an idiot." Not the cheerful start Adam would've hoped for but... well, it was true. "I was there tending to my own business in the library when he just popped out of nowhere!" A dramatic wave of the hand to enhance her story. "Well, he was there looking for Merlin knows what, and I thought that being sixteen and going on seventeen would be enough for him to quit his silly attitude but it only seemed to turn him into a ..." Sigh. "I dunno. We were talking." Adam would know that their conversation was basically a lengthy banter and witty comments thrown at each other, "And then he leaned in to tell me that yo-" Woooooow. Louisa's face blushed a bit and she widened her eyes at the almost slip-up. "...something." Very lame save but hopefully Adam won't ask about it. "Hadley and Roslun decided to show up right then. They thought we were... about to.. you know." She made a melodramatic face at the mere thought of them kissing or flirting.

There. She had told him the basic story. Dropping her shoulder in a sad posture, she pouted, "My reputation is ruined. Everybody now knows I served detention with Paulie. There is one place to hold double detentions and that's in that awful place." Lovers' Lair. HMPH.

They were cute. Adam couldn't help but smile as one sort of rolled head first into the water trying to catch a piece of bread that was just out of its grasp. If Adam was a duck he was pretty sure that he would be that duck. "I can't even imagine how JB would handle an encounter with a duck. I feel like he would probably chase the poor thing around insisting that all he wanted to do was play while at the same time terrifying the little guy." Adam couldn't help but chuckle at the visual. "Viola never did meet JB did she?" Adam asked with a small frown. "I wonder how they would have gotten on."

As soon as Louisa started talking about the detention, Adam was all eyes and ears on Louisa. At the first comment about Paulie being an idiot, Adam couldn't help but chuckle. It wasn't hard for him to imagine while practical Louisa would find Paulie's humorous demeanor to mean he was an idiot. The smile remained on his face as Louisa said he appeared out of nowhere considering he was sure Paulie would have snuck up on her just to get a reaction. After all Paulie did seem to like to pester Louisa on a pretty consistent basis.

And then Louisa stopped mid-sentence, a shocked look on her face like the kind one gets when they almost let something slip that they don't want to know. Did she say "you"? What exactly was Paulie going to tell her about him, because the you was obviously meant to signify him. And Paulie was leaning in to tell her? Wait...surely Paulie wouldn't have let slip to Louisa that he still had feelings for her? That would just be absurd? Although why were Louisa's cheeks starting to flush? Instinctively Adam felt his own start to turn a slight red color at her embarrassment. When Louisa concluded with something Adam's feeling that he needed to be concerned was confirmed. Whenever he saw Paulie he was going to get an explanation because prying Louisa to tell him what he said would just make the situation worse.

Although even the creeping feeling that Adam needed to be embarrassed even though he was clueless as to what Paulie said, it was nothing compared to how red his cheeks flushed when Adam realized why Paulie and Louisa had gotten the detention. "Well...uh...wow. They must not know you very well," Adam said with a nervous little chuckle. "And your reputation is not ruined," Adam said with a small shake of the head. "Sure Paulie is a bit of a goof, but he's a Gryffindor at heart and a great friend, so if anyone tries to make you feel embarrassed just tell them to shove off." Of Adam would literally make them shove off...

A small silence fell as Adam wondered whether or not this was the right time to share his news. After all, he hadn't told anyone yet, not even his grandfather this tid bit of news. In all honesty it was probably because Adam was in denial and was still trying to wrap his brain around the whole situation.

Gustav smiled back at Aaron. The boy seemed really friendly and wasn't mean at all. It was a relief he didn't shout at him angrily
"Thank you..."he said gratefully as he took some cookie crumbs Aaron had offered. He didn't want to be rude to him since it was his fault he had bumped into him. The cookie crumbs tasted great! He hadn't had M&M chip before. Then he noticed he was in Hufflepuff house too!
"I am Gustav Ferrom...transfer student from Durmstrang,in fourth year now..."
"What year are you in?"he asked.

Oooh. That was an important point Adam got to! "I don't think they have, no. When I got him for a few days last term, I didn't have Viola." An amused smile stretched on her face then, "I wonder, too. We should get them together soon." Which reminded her, she poked the boy's leg playfully, "You had to leave him at your grandfather!" Heh. She was going to get back at him in this matter as long as it came up. Hehehe.

Adam's face expressions didn't go unnoticed by her but she let it pass. Basically because she didn't want to talk about it to Adam who probably would be hurt or embarrassed.. even more than he was now. Clearing her throat and dropping her gaze down a bit, she nodded, "We tried to explain ourselves but they seemed to be seeing Paulie giving me a 'look'." Doing the air quotation marks with her fingers. With a scoff, she went on, "It was probably that stupid smirk he was born with."

Tell them to shove off? "Well I don't think anybody will come up and tell me so. It's just the fact that people now know or doubt that we were really brewing romance in the library. It's totally going to be a huge reputation obstacle for me." Not to mention her boyfriend. Heh. It was going to be one heck of an explanation to Joao. He already doubts her.

... why was Adam so awkwardly silent so suddenly? Louisa was afraid that he was still embarrassed from her slip-up. She looked with concern at him, "Adam? What is it?" Even if it was the hint at them being together, she'd talk about it to clear everything for him.

Logan listened to Ella. He nodded slowly. "Yeah. I get what you-" he raised an eyebrow. "You feel happy when you see me?!" he asked, but then felt his heart sink a little when she said any of her friends. "Oh...oh okay. Yeah I get what you mean." He said smiling at her.

When Louisa poked his leg playfully Adam couldn't help but chuckle. "He's quite content with my grandpa...in fact he hardly even noticed that I was leaving his house to go to the Hogwarts Express. He was too busy chasing after this squirrel in our yard," Adam said with a small shake of the head. Oh JB. The dog still had as much energy as he did on the day Louisa and him got the little guy. Although he certainly was not that little anymore...the dog easily came up to Adam's waist if not higher.

A part of Adam was quite thankful that Louisa decided not to comment on his embarrassed face. Perhaps she was just as embarrassed about the situation as he was. Paulie and him were definitely going to be chatting and depending on what exactly it was that Paulie said would determine whether or not he pushed the matter later on with Louisa. Adam was just really hoping that it wasn't something that meant Adam should be shoving his head into the ground in shame. At the mention of Paulie's look Adam gave a little chuckle. "He is pretty notorious for that look of his...but it's just so Paulie you know?" Adam said with a laugh. Of course Adam was familiar with the look considering Paulie had given it to him on more than one occasion when he was plotting something or telling Adam something that Adam probably wouldn't openly admit out loud to anyone.

Adam understood what she meant. "Well, once people see the two of you interacting for themselves they should see that it's a big misunderstanding," Adam said with a small nod. At least Adam was assuming that it was a definite misunderstanding, and Louisa's reaction definitely made it seem that way. He hadn't meant for his silence to be so obvious, but really he shouldn't have been that surprised. Louisa had an uncanny knack for picking up on his emotions and addressing them. Figuring that there was no point in trying to deny anything, Adam shifted uncomfortably, plucking out a couple blades of grass.

"Rubiey broke up with me," Adam said with a gentle shrug, clearing his throat since the sentence had come out so husky.

Logan seemed a little crest fallen when Ella mentioned the rest of her friends. Taking a deep breath, Ella decided to be honest with him. "I mean, of course I'm happy when I see you. You're really the only person I've met here who I can be honest with. And your fun and kind and-well, I'm happy we're friends." She was blushing, she knew it. She looked down at her shoes, suddenly very interested in her own shoe laces.

Logan nodded a little and couldn't help but smile shyly. "Well th-th-thank you!" he said looking at her as she blushed and looked down at her shoes. "Same to you. You're a real amazing friend, I'm real glad I met you." he said.

"Well, that makes two of us." She smiled up at him, no longer caring about her pink face. "So anyway..." She said laughing "My dad is out of the hospital! I meant to tell you that at the topiary gardens before but I kind of ran off and-sorry about that by the way." Well, she was back to normal alright, rambling on and on uncontrollably. She smiled, giving Logan time to chime in.
