Cardigan walked to the Duck Pond,bringing her Violin along for comfort.Shehad faced so much discomfort in the past few days.Losing her Best Friend,losing her other Best Friend,and of course,recieving more hate from her parents through the power of Owl Post.She soon realized where her feet had taken her:the Duck Pond.With a sigh,she sat down on the rock overlooking the pond and began to play her Violin.It soothed her in a way that can't be described through words.The song and the rock brought back memories:the Moustache,Octopus pizza,dance off;crazy hat wearing party was planned,right on this rock,with her ex-best friend Logan.It brought her to tears,causing her to stop playing her Violin and just cry with her head between her knees.The Violin could no further help her...

Logan walked down to the Duck Pond, singing a song quietly to himself that he loved a lot. Yeah...a girl sang it, but he still loved it dearly. It always made him feel better whenever he was sad. Not that he was real sad now...well...maybe slightly.

He heard the sound of a violin, and turned his head to see who he thought he'd see. Who else could play such a beautiful sound?! He started to run up to Cardigan, a smile spread across his face, when he paused and remembered the Whomping Willow. He stood there, looking at her as she played her violin. He bit his lip. "Do I dare go talk to her?" he thought in his head. She probably hated his guts right now. But he didn't hate her guts. He loved her...as a friend. And now he knew he had to talk to her. He sighed, and took in a deep breath before walking up to her. He cleared his throat, and looked down at the ground. "H-hi Car..." he said. He slowly lifted his head to look at her. "I have something to t-tell you." he said.

Cardigan looked up,only to find her ex-best friend,Logan Floyd.Great,she thought.She didn't really want to believe what Ella had told her.Sure,she did want to,but somehow,she felt it wasn't true.Not at all."What?"She said,wearing an expression so sad and pained you would've thought she was gonna die,as the tears continued to fall.Part of her already had died...

Logan looked at Cardigan, feeling his heart sink. Great. He hoped no drama would be involved after this...that they'd be okay and be best friends again. He sighed and looked at her. She looked so hurt. Man...he was so stupid. He should of stayed single until he was like 17!!!!He watched as tears fell down her cheeks, tempted to wipe them away but he didn't. He didn't know if he still was her friend in her eyes yet.

Okay...here goes nothing!

"I uh...wanted to apologize, Car. For not telling you about...Ella and I." he said. "I thought you should of found out somehow by now...and that was stupid to think. I should of told you...and...I guess I didn't because I thought you'd be really mad at me and not be my friend anymore. I was really scared about losing my first and best friend in the whole world..." Logan said, looking at the ground again. "I'm really really sorry." he said quietly.

Cardigan was relieved beyond belief.Like,she was so relieved,you'd think she wasn't relieved.Now that is pure relief!She could just,hug him right now!!!She couldn't help but grin softly as she said,"Don't be."She was all 'great!' on the outside,but inside,she was all 'OMIGOSH OMIGOSH OMIGOSH MY EX-BEST FRIEND,ERM,BEST FRIEND,DOESTN`T HATE ME!!!'A moment like this should be celebrated...

Logan's eyes widened a little bit. "I...uh...okay." he said, looking around before pulling her into a hug. "Thanks. For not like, killing me or anything." he said with a little smile.

"Why would I do that?"Cardigan said,laughing slightly.She didn't see why she would ever do that."Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,nothing is going to get better.It's not,"She whispered with a smile, to no one in particular, as she had once read in a book.And boy did she care a whole awful lot!

Taryn decided this was a good time to try out her pout, "You wouldn't do it for me?" Pout, wibble lip, eyelash batting.

The pouting thing didn't last long and Taryn reached out for Auggie's hand, pulling herself up from the ground too. "Yes!" She reached for her bag and slung it over her shoulder, "I brought cookies again. I think the ducks totally like the cookies." Poor ducks were probably going to get fat before she was done with them.

"I do not know." Logan said shrugging. He then nodded slowly. "Yeah...right.." he said smiling.

"So...is the mustache,Octopus Pizza,crazy hat;dance off party still on?"Cardigan asked,grinning.She really wanted to use that Mustache she had at home from a second grade class party for something.She's an odd girl,mind you,keeping all kinds of odd things you'd never think of an eleven year old keeping,such as faux mustache.Pretty twisted huh?

The weather was getting warmer, which was why Nessie took this as an opportunity to be outside more. With Puffles in he's usual spot Nessie took a seat by the duck pond and watched the ducks as they swam. They we're so beautiful, they truly were and it made Ness wish she was beautiful too.

There was so many things on her mind, her mother was having a baby soon, and this baby would be her second sibling. Nessie wasn't too excited about it, she was more nervous but she knew and hoped everything would be perfect in the end.

Taking out some break, Nessie began throwing some crunbs to the ducks..it was way more exciting than the homework waiting for her in her dorm.

Jory was still a bit grumpy with Gwen for her coldness- he don't think she noticed it though. He would really like to know why she was like that. He just listened to her chatter away without saying anything, looking at the ducks.

Finally, realising that he couldn't keep quiet forever, Jory opened his mouth. "Could I ask you something, Gwen? Don't get offended, please, but why are so cold towards others?'' He watched her face, looking for her reaction.

He didn't see how she could ignore this question like she usually does- unless she got up and walked away.

Alex made her way down to the duck pond. She found an empty spot at the edge of the pond, away from the other students. It was really beautiful and Alex found watching the ducks to be very soothing. She was feeling rather sad and very lonely. Alex had only made two really good friends at school and with everyone's busy schedules, she had not seen them much lately. She didn't like feeling like she didn't fit in, but"..... "I guess I'll just have to try harder", she thought. "I suppose I'm allowed one day to feel sorry for myself", she sighed.

Logan raised an eyebrow. "Are you serious?" he asked. "Of course it is!" he said. "I can't wait. I'm gonna show off my mad dancing skills." Logan said grinning.

India frowned when she heard what Hades had said - he didn't sound sorry this boy was unappologetically...he just made her want to glare at things...the wrose bit, being remembered as the stink pellet girl.

That was special.

Forever marked down in the tomes of hogwart as the stinky one. Perrfect.

"Yeah - thats me, the stink juice girl." She glanced at the ground and sighed. "Sorry to be a brutal well, you know kind pogrebin? Yeah? Parents are being a pain and just told me we aren't going back home after term were moving to their new place with a ruddy nanny im seventeen i'm a legal witch I don't need a nanny!" She huffed. "Not to mention no Melbourne - no australia" she sighed. And ripped the bit of bread she had in her hand into shreds and threw it into the pond with as much effort as she could muster.

It didn't really work well the ducks didn't swim over - they seemed...well, to not want to climb up and eat bread bits off of some wizard's shoe.

Ella walked down to the duck pond, guitar in hand, with Barnabus sitting happily on her shoulder. She was loving the warming weather and felt that spring was so close. It made her extremely happy. She found a nice spot in the shade and sat down to play. Strumming her guitar she started to sing softly, "Oh yeah I'll tell you something, I think you'll understand, when I say that something, I wanna hold your hand..." She loved that song.

Alyssa walked up to the duckpond and sat down on the water's edge. She pulled out some bread that she had picked up from breakfast and pinched off bits of bread and fed it to the ducks. As she saw them floating along in the pond, Alyssa decided that here was a good place as any to practice the spells that she had learned in Magical Musical Theory class.

She pulled out the case carrying the pan flute and the sheets of music from her backpack. She removed the pan flute from her case, brushed off leaves from a nearby stone, and placed the pan flute on it. She then leaved through the music sheets until she found one and placed it on her lap. Taking out her wand, Alyssa first practiced casting the Tuning spell. She concentrated on the spell and how loud she wanted it to sound. Then placing her wand next to ear, said,"EMODULAR A". Immediately she heard the sound of the A note next to her ear. It was soft but clear. "Okay the tuning sound worked. Now to play some music."Alyssa said to herself.

She picked up the music sheet and studied the music notes as it moved up and down the scale. This song was an old one but still popular in the Muggle World. She recalled the song in her mind and concentrated on how she wanted the pan flute to play it. Alyssa picked up her wand again and pointing at the music sheet, said "LUDO TOTALUM", before turning to the pan flute lying on the stone and drawing a circle with her wand over it, said, "LUDO SOLUS". Immediately the flute began to play the song. Alyssa listened to it play as she continued to feed the ducks. She hoped that ducks liked listening to the song too.

Scoff."It's not like you can do any better than mwa,"Cardigan said,smiling smugly as she flipped her hair for extra effect.She was better than better could be!Well of course,they both knew that she was better.Like,WAY better.....

Jessie ran from the building, fully embracing the sunshine! Classes had been terrible all day and she was so glad to be done for the weekend and OUTSIDE! She ran around, stretching her legs and laughing, enjoying the moment. She found a nice shady spot beside the pond and plopped down. After taking her shoes and socks off, she dangled her feet in the pond.

What was she doing? Was that pouting? Her lip was sticking out the same way Slyvia's always did when his and her mother wouldn't take her to the Manchester zoo every weekend. Seriously his little sister was obsessed. "I mean I guess I could try." he said with a shrug as they approached closer to the pond.

"I bet the ducks will like the cookies, so would I." he said holding his free hand out to recieve a sugary treat for himself. Hey, he liked snacks just as much as any duck. When they got to the edge of the grass, Auggie crouched down and placed a hand on the ground to keep himself from falling forward. He looked to Taryn to see what she would do first.

Oooooooookay. The pout needed work, apparently, because Auggie did NOT fall for it. Sigh.

Taryn reached into the bag and pulled out one of the cookies, breaking it in half and handing him the bigger half. She only had a FEW, but they could share one. She kneeled at the edge of the pond and splashed the water a little, attempting to get the duck's attention. "I think that one should be named Bernard." She pointed to the particularly large duck who always ate more cookies than the others.

After taking a bite of the cookie that was handed to him, August lookde at the duck she had pointed at, Bernard.

"Hm, that's a good name." he said with a grin looking at the other ducks. He found one that was smaller than Bernard. "That one can be Phillis." he said with a chuckle at the little duck. That name was so not for a duck, which made it funnier.

Logan thought about this for a sec. WELLL...Cardigan actually was a pretty epic dancer. "Well. I guess I'm only better at tap dancing then." Logan said with a smirk, crossing his arms.

As she went on talking about unimportant stuff, Gwendolyn suddenly stopped. Drawing her attention back at Jory, the third year had absolutely NO idea what he wanted to ask. Probably something unimportant, but psh... Even though Gwen decided this wouldn't be some huge news or something intriguing, curiosity made her wish he'd just ask the question already. Really. She was way too curious to be able to keep calm.

Oh. More as a reflex, the third year bit her lip as she heard him say something like 'don't get offended'. Merlin's beard. That had to be something bad. Ughh. She stared blankly at the Hufflepuff, waiting anxiously for him to finish talking.

What was that?, Gwendolyn thought and laughed nervously. HOW in the world was she supposed to react to that?!?! Stand up and leave? Ignore the question? That was a bit too much to handle... Maybe simply answer a boring 'I don't know' and leave it like that. Actually- wait- was she really that cold? Anyway- did he say it on a friendly tone or.. not? Probably not. But she really couldn't tell. 'I- I--', she mumbled, still searching for something to say.

Maybe she could explain to him something with the DNA and stuff like that. Yes. That would be a solution. After all, it was all about that. How could she have chosen being nice or cold towards others? All this was CONFUSING. Very confusing.

Perhaps it was time to start giving an answer. 'Well...' Err. That sounded like a good start. Way to go. 'I... ummm... suppose--' dramatic pause 'genetics?' Ooooh- and for the 100th time it was proven that Gwen needed one of those muggle psychiatrists. 'Or maybe... I don't know!' Maybe it wasn't her fault. She somehow remembered that thing Ari wrote for her. Perhaps her bestie was right about it. 'I'll try being nicer if ou try being smarter'. That counded like Gwen. Actually naaah. It was definitely her fault.

"Sure..."Cardigan said,covering her mouth to hide her laugh.Tap Dancing doesn't really count.Besides,she still might be better at Tap Dancing.Who knows?She doesn't really like Tap Dancing anyway.Sooo...yeah.
