A stone square courtyard is the first aspect of the grounds that you come to after you travel through the corridor. Surrounded by magnificent stone columns adorned with luscious ivy and slight lily growth, the courtyard provides students with benches to sit on with their friends or for the one who just wishes for some peace and quiet. Also, in the middle stands a very illustrious Wishing Fountain.
Harvey looked at Butterfly when she said that girls were not hard to understand.. "Well not all the time Butterfly.. just sometimes." he said smiling before turning to Logan "Well I can imagine how you feel Logan I was in a similar position to you not long ago.. confused. but I had to choose one girl. and so do you.. its going to be hard but you have no choice but to choose.. " he said to him smiling. before Logan spoke to Butterfly who frowned and he shook his head "Butterfly... it may be bad ettiquite but even we boys can extend our hands to nice ladies as well" he said grinning as he said this
She sighed,"So many confunsions,"Butterfly's head isn't good with this confusion."

Damien wasn't quite sure what brought him here -- but the logic that just went though his mind offered the perfect safe house from his thoughts, and his mind going back to the recurring nightmares. He had to get answers somehow, but still wasn't sure who to ask without sounding loony.
So instead he wandered around on his own. Sure he had Isobel, Matt -- Lockhart whom he hadn't seen AT ALL since term started. And Daisy; the Ravenclaw in Gryffindor robes. He hadn't really seen her since --whenever the last time he was supposed to get together ---
Wow he really was loosing it --
Mmm….the sun ws nice and warm today.
Daisy was sitting on a bench, back against a column, Confronting the Faceless balancing on her knee. One hand idly scratched at her wool socks. On her shoulder sat her chameleon-newt, Astrid, who was currently enjoying a sun-nap while maintaining a decent shade of black to blend in with the color of Daisy’s robes. If one looked close enough, they might see that the lizard was starting to turn a slight pink around the edges. He burned easily.
Daisy flipped a page in the book and glanced up to take a look around the courtyard. It was getting a bit busy. A few more students and she might not have enough quiet to continue with her reading.
She turned her attention back to her book just as someone walked by. She read one sentence, and got distracted. Daisy was not one who was easily distracted. She glanced up again, wondering what caused it and found herself watching a boy walking away from her. The back of his head looked familiar.
“Wait a minute,” she said softly as she put her feet down on the ground and stood up. It was Damien. The Damien who had stood her up in Diagon. The Damien who hadn’t returned her last owl. The book in her hand closed as a scowl formed on her face and soon it was sailing through the air towards Damien’s head.

Logan nodded. "Okay." he said. Then he went back to thinking about who'd he want more. Taylor or Cardigan. Taylor or Cardigan. Taylor or Cardigan. Gah, whatever! It didn't matter right now, he'd decided LATER. Like when he was in his third year or something...when he was older and more...mature.

"I hope so, not fun when things are confusing." She said in a confused and cheerful way.

The idea of heading up to the Library crossed his mind just then. Maybe if he brought the book he'd found to the librarian, she could steer him in the direction of other forms of literature that might offer some additional information regarding his -- predicament.
Yes, because that was the right word to describe recurring nightmares and hallucinations --
THUD
"Oye there!" he yelled, rubbing the back of his head as a blunt object came in contact with his cranium. Looking to the ground he picked up a rather large, dense book. As blurry as his vision was after the impact, he bent down to pick up the book in one hand, rubbing the back of his head with the other. "Who the blo --" but as he turned around on his heels, his eyes fell upon a familiar-looking Gryffindor -- and he then had a feeling who the culprit might've been.
Daisy.
Whoops.
Wincing from the pain, and a slight ringing in his ears, Damien walked up to where she sat, same itchy wool socks she complained about, and what looked like to be a pink-ish/black-ish glob of something wiggling on her robes. He looked down at the book before slowly outstretching his arm to hand it back to her.
"Nice aim," he said simply -- judging from the disgruntled look on her face, the book was actually meant to hit him.

It should be good aim, Daisy had grown up with two older brothers and a mother who liked to play with dragons. But she didn’t justify his comment with a response. Instead, she stamped her foot and snatched the book away from him and promptly tucked her under her arm. Astrid hiccupped and then crawled from her shoulder up into her hair peeking out at Damien from behind Daisy’s ear with big green eyes.
“That!” she said in a very loud voice and tone that she usually reserved for yelling at her two older brothers. “Is all you have to say to me!?”

He raised an eyebrow at the (slight) tantrum being thrown by a 17 year old girl, holding his hands up in a sort of surrender stance after Daisy snatched the book right out of his hands. If looks could kill. The boy glanced towards the blob that now moved, with very bright green eyes and was staring him down. They both were, as a matter of fact. The distgruntled Daisy and her -- what was that thing anyway?!
Now -- here's the thing. Damien wasn't used to being spoken to, let alone being yelled at. Clearly Daisy was more upset with him than he originally thought through, and the booming voice that addressed him a second later made him jump back.
Well sure that was all he could say -- she obviously threw the book to deliberatly hit him in the head. "Nice aim". What was wrong with saying that??

He had to think fast.
"H--hi --?"
Nice. Real nice.
One would think, having two older brothers who weren’t the brightest fire crabs in the cage, Daisy would realize that boys tended to be stupid and slow. But alas, that was a lesson Daisy was still learning. “Hi?” She raised herself up on her tip-toes to look the taller boy in the – well lips. “HI!?”
“Argh!!!” She promptly stomped down on his foot. Astrid’s big green eyes blinked and a soft chortle escaped his lizard’s lips as if he knew what Damien was in for. “You!” She poked him in the chest. “Stood!” Poke. “Me.” Poke. “UP! And all you have to say is hi?!”

She looked at them curiously,"I wasn't allowed to go to muggle school because my brother's ept giving my family's name a bad reputatotion." She thought,"But I guess that's why I'm the first of my family to come to a magic school." she said with a weak smile that made her feel stupid.

Alright, so -- maybe "Hi" wasn't the best thing to say to her.
Soon enough she was mere centimeters away from him, attempting to stand as far up on her toes as her feet would allow. Daisy certainly didn't have height as an advantage -- for this, Damien was quite grateful. At most she came up to his chin -- maybe a little higher. And she nearly stopped her own foot right ontop of his. Was she out to send him to the hospital wing with bumps and bruisses all over his body??
But now, it really was getting slightly out of control. The poor boy really had no idea what was getting her so upset with him. First the book to the head, the yelling and now the -- Oww -- poking.
"Ow," he mumbled with each poke. "Ow -- ow --"
Stood her up? What in Merlin's Bear was she --
Hang on a second.
Diagon Alley. THAT was the last time he was supposed to get together with Daisy. In DIAGON ALLEY
Whoops.
"Daisy," he said, reaching up and holding the hand that was poking his chest in his own -- which felt strange. He looked down briefly at her small hand enclosed in his before forcing it down at her side, releasing it. "I'm sorry," he added, hands up again in surrender. "I honestly didn't mean to stand you up, and not meet you in Diagon Alley, really I didn't --"

She was taken off guard for a moment as he grabbed her hand. She looked at his and then he quickly let it go. Daisy wasn’t used to people touching her in such an intimate manner. It took her a moment to sputter out the next few words.
”Oh right? So what did you mean to do?” She crossed her arms and gave him her best glare, but at least her voice had lowered from a yell to a loud growl. “Make me feel like an idiot sitting at the Ice Cream parlor by myself?”
"Ever heard of an owl?" Considering your lack of correspondance over the summer, I imagine not! she thought to herself.

Well -- at least she wasn't yelling at him anymore.
He gave the curious looking creature on her shoulder another glance before refocussing his attention back on her.
"I don't know what I meant to do!" he said throwing his hands up in the air, quite frustrated by her flustered way of handling the situation. "NO!" he added, this time his own voice raising slightly -- either from frustration, anger towards her, or simply because -- he truly didn't want her upset with him. WHY he didn't want her upset with him was something not registering on his mindset at the moment. "No, it wasn't my intention to make you feel like an idiot, and I'M SORRY you were at the parlour by yourself! --"
Of course he had an owl, but Damien started to attempt and recap what had happened over the holiday to make him miss his meeting with Daisy. Was he in Ireland at the time? It'd be terrible if he were staying at the Leaky Cauldron and simply FORGOT to meet her -- yes, that'd be incredibly horrible, and he really didn't deserve her friendship if that were the case.
If she considered him a friend in the first place, that is.
He heaved a heavy sigh then, rubbing the back of his head (where a nice bump was now forming, thank you very much). "Daisy," he said, his voice back to it's low, normal volume. "Daisy, I'm really sorry," eyes begining to search hers. "I know it's no excuse, but I honestly can't remember too much of what happened over the Holiday -- it was all a blur, and all of a sudden we're back at school again and --" he sighed once more, eyes cast to the cobblestone of the courtyard, his feet taking a couple tentative steps in her direction.

Sorry? Well, that was - - something.
Daisy’s mouth opened and closed a few times like a cod fish as she tried to find something else to yell at him for while his sad puppy dog eyes pored into hers. She suddenly was done yelling. It’s amazing what an apology can do.
“Well,” she uncrossed her arms, placing her hands on her hips. “Apology accepted.” Pause. “Just don’t do it again.”
For the first time since seeing him, she gave him a good look over. He did look rather miserable; tired even, with bags under his eyes and his hair a bit askew. She knew it was more than just her whack with the book. “You look like a hippogriff ran you over. Did one?”
Astrid, sensing that the danger had ended, crawled out from behind Daisy's ear and settled back onto her shoulder, ignoring Damien.
