Why was it that everytime he tried to help someone or whenever he offered help...bad things happened? Floppy had flew up in the air at the sudden explosion but because the charm was still working it didn't go far. She landed back on the stones and eyed the slytherin and ravenclaw curiously.

Daichi could just see that Beezus was clearing the smoke with her hand as well and after a minute or so the Snake coughed loudly and the smoke dissappeared. Well...the harm wasn't THAT bad! His dormitory looked worse once. So was the grounds last year and the room of requirement had been a war zone when he looked at this.

The stones that were supposed to be the edge of the fountain lay crumbled up on the ground. The water inside the wishing fountain flowed over the broken edge and wetted his shoes. Daichi turned to Beezus and gulped. "Sorry, i always blow stuff up when i'm excited..." he said truthfully Y-you know how to repair a f-fountain?" he asked "B-because if you can't ...then i'm out of here!" He clearly remembered Bentley saying she would take points the next time she caught him destroying something and he did not want that.

Gulp. Gulp. Gulp. Beezus couldn't help but gulp thrice in a row when that scene met her eyes shortly after the smoke has cleared off. "Oh My Godric," she whispered more likely to herself as she stared unbelievingly at the view that met her eyes. The fountain looked deformed now, like a part of it has just been slashed off by a huge ax that caused its debris' to be scattered everywhere and of course, the water from it was flowing out of the large basin-like structure of the fountain.

She could hear Daichi saying something but she couldn't understand any of it. For almost two years of her stay at Hogwarts, this was the first time she ever witness something to take place. And she knew that the next things to happen was bound to be unpleasant. Beezus sighed deeply, and turn to the Slytherin. "Huh?...what?" Did he just ask her if she could repair the fountain?

WAS HE NUTS?! "I...a..maybe...I think...well, we could...I mean..there's a..there's a mending charm..Re.." Beezus started breathing heavily. She was scared for Merlin's sake! "Repa..Reparo? Something like that," the eaglette told him and without even thinking, she pointed her wand at the ruined fountain and muttered the incantation. The pieces of crumbled stone slowly moved seemingly back to form the fountain, leaving the waters behind. Well, at least the fountain would be back right? Beezus was about to gave off a sigh of relief when suddenly... the crumbled pieces of the ruined damaged fountain that was supposedly plastered back to place exploded then and there, pulverizing the already ruined pieces. Of course, she froze on the spot with her eyes almost popping out of their eyelids and her mouth dangling open at what just happened.

Floppy his duck began to quack loudly when she decided that the attention should be on HER again. Daichi eyed his duck and pressed a finger to his lips "ssh!" he said and of course the duck didn't listen and continued to quack away. Daichi did not mind the quacking but he hoped no one would come to the sound of the quacking and see what was happening. "Floppy..sshh" he was ignored again.

But even the loud bang would attact people even when Floppy didn't quack so much. At least, he would be investigating the area if he heard an explosion somewhere. Daichi looked at Beezus and gave her an 'oooh i know that spell!' look. "Reparo? Professor Descoteaux showed it to me once!" After the man had sliced a rubber DUCK in class and Daichi had freaked out. He pointed his wand at the crumbled pieces of broken stone but Beezus was faster.

He watched in fascination when the Ravenclaw managed to perform the spell. Daichi bit his lip nervously as the pieces of the stone slowly and carefully got back to their original place. "Y-YOU DID IT!" The Slytherin shouted and just when he jumped on her , giving her a big hug as a thank you....the fountain exploded again.

"Ehm..." Daichi saw how Floppy was waddling in the water that surrounded his shoes again and he let go of Beezus with a clear of his throat. "Well...it was nice seeing you again, bye!" He bend down to pick up his duck but the creature snapped at him and continued to play in the low water. Great, now he couldn't leave because he wouldn't leave his family behind!

And why was that duck so noisy?! They were in the middle of a crisis here and that duck was quacking like there was no tomorrow? Daichi and her would surely have no tomorrow if they didn't find a solution to what they've done. Well, the correct thing to say was what Daichi had done. She was just on the shoes of a supporting actress, by doing worse. They didn't need anything worse to happen at the moment.

Then all of a sudden, Daichi was saying she did it and was hugging her. But of course, she knew better. The spell she did was a complete failure. A great failure out of the failures.

Beezus just stood there rooted to the spot until the Slytherin bid goodbye. Oh, no..She wasn't going to suffer the consequences alone. Nope. Not a chance. "Daichi! You're not going anywhere!" she screamed as she hurriedly ran over to where he was and his duck. "Well..well..at least the duck got some sense. Good Floppy," the eaglette said sarcastically as she shot the Slytherin a deadly glare. He was going to leave her there to deal with the situation? No, she wasn't allowing him. It was his fault in the first place anyway.

Feeling all hope was lost as she stared at the duck happily waddling on the water from the fountain, she suddenly uttered, "I think we should call a Professor..before the whole place gets flooded."

Daichi froze in place when he heard his name. He turned around sloooowly and was met with a screaming Beezus. His eyes widened, gulped at the death glare that was given to him and he even took a step back. Beezus was scary when she was angry...

"i-i wasn't going anywhere!" he lied and took another step back. Floppy was still playing around in the water and completely ignored the situation. He just stood there, frozen because he was afraid Beezus would explode herself if he made one wrong move.

The Ravenclaw seemed to have calmed down though as she was eyeing the duck and even complimented Floppy~! Daichi grinned proudly when he heard those words, missing the sarcasm behind it but his grin falted again.

"NO!" he shouted, louder than he had wanted but he couldn't help it. "Please! don't call a Professor they will kill me!" what should he do? drop down on his knees? BAM! his knees hit the ground and the water splashed up in the air a bit before he clutched on to her leg. "Don't okay? Can't we just walk away and pretend it had never happened?!" he asked, shaking her leg a little bit to push some sense in her. If Beezus called someone he was sure he would loose points and he had worked so hard to be in the top earners of his house. He would NOT let them position get away from him!

He wasn't going anywhere. Pfffft. That mackerel was about to leave her there if only his duck didn't liked playing on the water.

Beezus saw from the corner of her eyes that he was backing away from her. Was she that scary now? She just didn't want to get in trouble, especially if she was alone and she wasn't even the real person behind it.

With a shocked expression, she turned to the Slytherin who just shouted. "Of course not. A Professor won't kill you or me. We can tell the kindest Professor if you're that scared." And yeap, she was thinking of the Herbology Professor, Professor Seren Bentley. Yet before she could even suggest out that name, the water splashed up, leaving her robes wet knee-high. And...Daichi clutching her leg!

"EEEEKK! GEROFF! GEROFF DAICHI!" Beezus yelled at him as he shook her leg. She shook her leg back, wanting him to lose grip.

"Walk away like nothing happened?" She was still yelling. "You're insane! And how'd you explain what happened? The fountain's structured foundation was too week that it collapsed?! MERLIN! MERLIN!" What to do? What to do?

Alec looked down at his feet as he started walking out into the stone square courtyard. It was nice to be out for a while and not have to think about the week he had just had. Except, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't help but think about his friend... erm, ex-friend, actually.

But... it was sunny and that only meant one thing: Summer! It was finally here! Alec smiled at the thought of seeing his Dad again and being able to go to the park with his best friend. And he'd have to keep in contact with the other friends he had here at Hogwarts. That, right there, was the big plan.

The twelve year old looked up and walked over towards one of the benches. He sat down and leant back against the bit of wall behind him. Ahhh... bliss. His grey-blue eyes looked around at the people that were already there and... wait, why was there so much water on the floor?! O_____O

Okay... ignore.

Laura looked around the courtyard, she had no idea why but when she saw all the water on the floor she lost her head. "It's The GREAT FLOOD." Laura sighed as she jumped onto the bench where this boy was, she knew it was someone from the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team, the Seeker but well she couldn't remember the boys name.

"Hey you Mr Seeker." Laura giggled. "What have you been doing to make all this water Mr Seeker." Laura quickly kissed his cheek. "You are the greatest boy in the world, this is so cool, but please try not to flood Hogwarts."

And then came the shout.

Alec blinked as he turned his head to face the girl who had just jumped onto the bench he was sitting on. If he wasn't mistaken... she was the girl on the Quidditch Team, wasn't she? She was Laura or something? Keefer did mention a Laura before...

And she seemed to know him... as Mr Seeker. Was that some sort of new nickname of his? "Hey Laura!" ... Maybe he shouldn't have said her name. What if it wasn't Laura? It could be something else, couldn't it? Right. Now he just had to pray that her name was-

Alec's cheeks turned bright red. Did Laura just kiss him on the cheek?! And... why was she saying that he was the greatest boy in the world? "I... erm, thanks!" Because girls who kissed you on the cheek should be thanked, right? "I didn't... do all this, though." He indicated to all the water on the ground and shrugged.

Wait... "Do you know who did?" he asked, smiling at the girl.

Laura giggled, she liked to give nicknames to people. "Hi Alec, how have you been?" Laura hoped he didn't mind the kiss on the cheek and she really hoped that he didn't have a girlfriend, well if he did Laura didn't care, she'd need to speak to Anya soon and tell her she had kissed the best Quidditch Player in the school, because well Alec was.

"I have no idea who did, but I thought it would be you since you are around here, someone must know and I hope a Professor doesn't come whilst I'm here or they'll probably blame me." Laura sighed as she sat down next to Alec.

Alec smiled. Yes! Her name was Laura, then. Because if it wasn't, she would have said something, wouldn't she? "Hey Laura!" How had he been? The word 'confused' came to mind but right now... "I'm great! It's just... this year's gone by quickly, you know. How've you been?" Had they even talked properly before? It didn't really seem like it.

Oh. Alec let out a small snort. "I think we're just in the wrong place at the wrong time?" His dad had used that phrase once before soo... could it be applied now? But... what was Laura talking about? "Why would a Professor think it's you?"

Noooooooo! He would NOT let go of the girl's legs unless she had agreed not to tell a professor about this! But it also became uncomfortable clutching a shaking leg and eventually his hands slipped. "But they WILL kill me!" He said with a pout and huffed as he was now folding his arms over each other. His pants were getting soaked with the water and the lower parts of his robe as well. "I mean, i did some stuff before and i've never been caught, so...so..if YOU tell them ..." his sentence broke off as two young students, Hufflepuffs had entered the Courtyard and he could have sworn they were looking at the water. Wasn't that little boy the seeker for the Hufflepuff team ? Blake? no Alec? no...Steven! yes! that was his name...errr...he thought. And that girl, she looked like the one that had tackled Hades in class though he wasn't sure about that either.

Too bad they were too far away for him to listen to the conversation what they were having and he turned back to look up for a change at Beezus. And in the corner of his eye he saw that Floppy had enough of waddling in the water. Daichi stood up, the water dripped off his clothes and he eyed Beezus who was still yelling. "That is a very good lie! Use it when you see someone, i'm out bye!"

And this time he rushed as quick as he could towards the castle door at the other side of the corridor. Floppy saw him fleeing the scene and waddled behind him.

Laura looked over at the Ravenclaw and Slytherin and then back at Alec. "if you didn't do it I'm sure that those two over there know who did." Laura giggled, she was sure it was them if it wasn't Alec. "I know how you feel, It feels like yesterday that we were getting sorted but now we will be leaving soon and then when we come back we will be second years."

Laura sighed. "I'm good, just wishing term didn't have to come to an end." Laura didn't like growing up, she wanted to stay a little kid for ever, and then she giggled again as Alec ask why the Professor would blame her. "Because everything is my fault, they will say it was me even though I didn't do it, I know they will."

The two? Alec blinked before looking over to where Laura was looking over to. ... Weird. He hadn't noticed those two older students before. What were they doing? And why was the guy running away? That was... weird. "You know, I think you're right," he said, looking at the two of them carefully before shaking his head and smiling at Laura. "Yeah, it does," he sighed, "It feels weird to think that we've been here for a whole year."

Wishing term didn't have to end... "Hey! Our second year could be amazing, you know," he said, "We could have all the pillow fights in the world." Except, did Laura like pillow fights? Alec... was a little confused. Blame Laura? Why? "Because they think you're the trouble maker of the year?" he asked, grinning, "I'll stick up for you if they say anything."

Laura looked at Alec and giggled. "It could be, expecially if we become friends." Laura hoped they were friends. "I love pillow fight, I had a few in the girls dorm this year and a few with my sister before we came to Hogwarts and I'm going to get her again this summer." Laura was going to make up with her sister if it was the last thing she did.

Laura smirked. "The Professor thinks I am the trouble maker of the first years I'm sure about it." Laura hoped that Alec would think that she was, or maybe he wouldn't want to talk to her or be friends with her.

Especially if they became friends? This... kind of made Alec a bit more confused. "Aren't we already friends?" Because he thought that they were. Or if not, they could become friends now. Especially since Laura liked pillow fights as well! "You have a sister?" He did not know that before. "Me and Messer had some pillow fights as well. We should have a big one with all the boys and girls!"

... Wow. He had heard stories about Laura and her troublesome ways but he really didn't think she was the trouble maker of the year. Not that it made any difference. "That could be your new nickname, the trouble maker of our year."

Mehh, nothing interesting to do here. Zeke was so bored, he had nothing to do that interests him anymore. He had nowhere to go that wasn't new since in the short time he spent in Hogwarts, he'd been to almost every place allowed to students. And he definitely is not interested in friends nor conversation. He'd rather be alone.

And so here he is now, walking in his usual slow pace, hands in his pockets, eyes wandering either at the floor or straight ahead. There were people walking past him but he didn't care enough to notice them.

Taylor was running being chased by a bird. She didnt see where she was going and so she ran into a boy. Her head jerked forward and she took a few steps back. "i... I... I'm sorry." She looked around for the attacking bird then back to the guy. "Sorry, I didnt mean to run into you. I wasnt watching where i was going. A bird was chasing me....." Tay trailed off and blushed. "Are you okay?"

A bird...was chasing her? Zeke looked around, he didn't see any bird who looked like they were ready to chase someone. There was one, innocently looking around from above the fountain. It looked harmless. Oh well.

"Sure, sure. I'm fine," he mumbled. Without bothering to ask the girl if she was okay, Zeke went on walking a few more steps until he reached the bench he was aiming for. It was empty and there were no students nearby. Perfect. He sat quietly and his eyes made an assessment to his surroundings. Some students chatting enthusiastically, others reading books, some others just standing around, probably searching for a friend to talk to. And his eyes lingered for a moment to the girl who bumped into him just a while ago.

As he decided he had no more business with her and her wild bird chase, the looked away to the rushing waters of the fountain.

Tay grimaced, "I'm Taylor McIntyre by the way." She felt bad for accidently running into him, "Is there any way i can make it up to you? I really am sorry for running into you." Taylor frowned a little. She brushed out an imaginary wrinkle in her dress and glanced down at the stone floor.

Taylor McIntyre, hm. "How about I be left alone?" So much for trying to be polite, he just couldn't get out of his nature. Pure snobbish Zeke. Nahh, he just wanted to be alone, that's all. He didn't even bother saying out his name, she didn't ask anyway.

Thinking that what he said was enough to drive the girl away, he proceeded to sit down on the bench and pretended to be busy as he got out a handkerchief from his pocket, unfolded it, and placed it on his face as he rested his head against the stone wall behind the bench.

Tay sighed, "I'm just trying to be polite. I didnt mean to make you upset." She shook her head and turned, pausing for a few seconds then looking over at him, "Are you having a rough day or is it because i accidently ran into you?" There got to be a reason for his attitude..... right?

Finally! The Slytherin had lost grip on her leg and let go. "What are you saying? They will not kill you, okay? No Professor would kill a student." Did he not understand that? It was the truth anyway. But why would he keep insisting that he'll be killed? Well, maybe he'd be scolded like hundreds of times by the Groundskeeper, and the other Professors, maybe he'll even get detention for that, or worst, be expelled! Waiiiit...why was she thinking Daichi would be the only one suffering those punishments, when she was partially to blame? Oh, noooooooooooo.. Now it was getting difficult to keep a straight face!

But she did listened to him and even followed his gaze when his sentence broke off. Uh-oh! Two Hufflepuffs was there, and..and...they were looking at the water and Merlin, she didn't even knew them. She was still busy looking at them, making sure they weren't turning their attention to the two of them when she noticed Daichi stood up and whaaaat? What did he say?

He was running again now, that duck waddling after him. And Beezus had to raise her robes up just so she could catch up to the Slytherin. He was going fast but he was wetter than her and it gave her the advantage. She tackled him, grabbed hold of his robe and pulled him as hard as she could. "DAAAAIIIICHIIII!" Beezus called out, but in a hardly suppressed whisper.

Ugh, girl drama. He removed the handkerchief from his face and looked at the girl. "I'm fine okay? It has nothing to do with you. And I'm sorry for being rude." Not really sorry, but that ought to keep her from worrying if he was mad at her for running into him. "Is that enough?"

Hopefully, it would be. Cause he didn't want to speak anymore. That was probably the longest thing he's said for a long time. He isn't much of a sociable person and likes to be alone. He stared at the girl, waiting for reaction if she'd finally let him go mind his own business again and leave him alone.

"Thats good that you are fine." She sighed. What a snob. Tay didnt feel like bothering with the guy any longer and he didnt seem to want to talk to her either so she just started walking away, keeping an eye out for the mean bird.
