What? She wasn't going to drag him off to the Hospital Wing regardless of whether or not he wanted to go? That was new to him. All the females in his family were constantly fussing over him and his cousins whenever smaller injuries than this had happened to them. It was a nice change.

It made him feel much better that she had liked watching him play. He smiled for the first time since the match ended. "Really? Well I wish I would have heard you. It's hard to hear much when you're up there by the hoops." Not to mention when there are Ravenclaws coming at you trying to score.

As sucky as it was that he wasn't going to be playing in the next match, the Championship Game, it was still a pretty good consolation that he was going to be able to spend it with her. "Oh well I hope you have extra money or don't mind losing because, well you ARE betting against an actual player of the sport." he chuckled and puffed out his sore chest in pride.

"Eh." Taryn waved her hand at him. "I figured there was no way you possibly could anyway." So she wasn't too disappointed.

"I suppose I default to betting on Ravenclaw." Because she was PRETTY sure that he wasn't going to want to bet on them, naaah. That was okay, she didn't care much who won between the two houses. "Should we bet money, or something ELSE?" Like candy or something? Taryn liked candy. Hehe.

"I made a friend at the match." She added with a grin. "Well, not exactly a friend. He just happened to sit beside me and he was really awkward and quiet, but he DID say he was a Ravenclaw."

Come to think of it, she hadn't asked for his name. Whoops.

"Naturally," he said with a knowing nod. "There's no way I want the Claws to win after today." He didn't have anything against the Puff besides the way Treyen had messed with Kurumi the other day but that wasn't even Quidditch related so there you go. "Hmmm...we will have to think of something good." Or go through his trunk later to see what he actually had to bet. Maybe he had some Droobles in there or something.

"You met a Ravenclaw at the match?" Lovely. Well at least she had came and cheered him and the Gryffindors on, she could have her side conversations at least. "Who was he? What was he like?" He continued to lool at her from his laying position.

"I have no idea who he was." Taryn shrugged, "He sat down beside me and I was busy cheering, all we talked about was who we were rooting for. I told him I was rooting for Gryffindor because of you and then he got all weird and wouldn't look at me, but then you got knocked off of your broom, so I was a little distracted." And she'd sort of run away and managed a quick goodbye.

Though, he pretty much seemed like a regular Ravenclaw to her.

Oh, well it made the Lion even happier, in his hurt and sore state, that Tayrn was so distraught over his injury that she hadn't even caught the boy's name in her, albiet short conversation. There was at least a silver lining to the whole situation.

But the way she had described the boy as being really akward and then not looking at her after she had pointed out who her boyfriend was fishy to Auggie. Wait he was a claw...and he had reason to act weird at the mention of him. He didn't really know many claws besides the Mortimer dude, who Taryn knew, and then Emrys, who he had shared that horribly awkward time in the Seminar lesson.

She had met Emrys?!

"That's all you guys talked about? He didn't say why he was acting weird when you mentioned me?" he asked, trying to sound conversational and casual.

"Yep." Taryn nodded. "That was it. He wasn't quite conversational." She tilted her head. "I wonder if Aspen knows him. He sort of reminded me of her a bit."

Probably just that Ravenclaw thing.

Phew.

Auggie was glad that the boy hadn't spilt the beans about what had happened in that Seminar lesson to Taryn. The lion didn't want to do that either but he needed to, it was only right. There was really nothing to lie about since he had no feelings for Kurumi and it was all magically induced.

"Um...Tayrn, I need to tell you something." He swallowed hard and leaned up on one elbow to look at her better. "That boy was Emrys, a guy I met in the Seminar Lesson the other day. We uh, were working together with Kurumi when she performed one of the spells we were working on. It was an Attraction Charm, the one that worked like a Veela's attraction." The next sentences he rushed out quickly, his eyes falling downwards.

"Her spell effected me and I started to follow her around as if I was in love with her. But it's not true, honest! It was just the spell Taryn, you have to believe me." He felt absolutely horrible about the whole thing. And he was really scared about how she would react.

This... didn't sound too good.

Taryn leaned forward to listen carefully to everything that he said. She was quiet for a long moment after, trying to process it all. "Is that it? That's all that happened? You didn't.... kiss her or anything?"

Cause he hadn't even kissed HER yet... so that would be QUITE upsetting if he had kissed Kurumi.

August was waiting for something horrible to happen like another slap like he had gotten from Kurumi to break the spell or a spout of shouting but he was happy that Taryn had seemed to stay calm. This was certainly a lot to take in, Auggie was having trouble just telling it all to her.

Had they kissed? "Oh no, merlin no! That didn't happen at all. It was just mainly talking...and wrapping arms around ankles." he said slowly, eyes widening as the whole thing began to replay in his mind.

*shiver*

"I just want you to know none of that came from me. It was just the spell. Kurumi is like a big sister to me." He took her hand in his at this moment and squeezed it tight to make his point.

She almost laughed at his reaction to her question, but decided against it. It wouldn't be nice to laugh at him when he was obviously worried that she would be mad about it all.

"It's okay. I know you guys are friends, like me and Mo." Taryn spoke reassuringly, "And to be honest, I'm glad it was her and not some other girl." That would have made it worse. But Taryn had gotten nothing but friendship vibes from August and Kurumi and she even liked the girl, so.. it was okay. She was cool.

But he was probably super embarrassed, huh?

Alex smiled "Well go on play it then." she said nudging him gently.

Logan laughed. "Okay." he said, getting his guitar ready. He then began singing and playing the song, blushing slightly as he did. He didn't know exactly why he was blushing, though.

August had mentally prepared himself for an explosion of anger and possibly a punch to his bruised chest but was happy, and surpised not to recieve any of that. "Are you sure you're ok? I'm glad that you understand I didn't do any of it with a conscious mind." he layed back on the bench and looked at the sky.

A conversation change was needed badly. "How's your pygmy puff doing?" Her name was Vivianne or something right?

Taryn shrugged, "Sure. I mean, it would be a whole other thing if you'd done it on purpose, but you didn't, it wasn't your fault." She couldn't blame him for that, could she? Nope.

She settled back to lean on her hands. "She's alright. Maybe next time I'll bring her to the match too." Heh. "How's Bruce?"

"You're right, thanks Taryn." he smiled at her again. How cool was his girlfriend? She wasn't mad and totally understood the situation. I mean seriously though, they went to school at Hogwarts this sort of thing was probably routine. He sure hoped it wasn't though, the only girl he wanted to kiss was sitting infront of him now.

Her pgymy puff was ok, that was always good. "Oh cool. I haven't seen her in a while. I could bring Bruce to the match too. He's not feeling the greatest lately, perhaps she can help cheer him up?" He suggested this hopefully, but the reality of the situation was that his turtle was just getting old. They had bought him together when he was already ancient looking.

Ella headed out to the courtyard and sat down by the fountain, sketch book in hand. The sun was shining and the warmth felt wonderful on Ella's face. Closing her eyes, she leaned back, enjoying the relaxation. She was clearly not paying attention to how far she had been leaning because she felt her tiny body starting to wobble slightly. Suddenly, she lost her balance, falling towards the fountain. "Merlin's be-" *SPLASH*

"I'm glad you told me, I wouldn't have been very happy hearing it from someone else." But it was totally okay and they were going to put it behind them now.

"What have you been feeding him?" She wondered, but... well... he WAS old. Maybe it was time to start thinking about a replacement pet?

Logan walked down to the courtyard, carrying his bag. Peeta popped his head out of the bag, and noticed Ella and meowed. Logan looked towards where Peeta was looking, and saw that Ella had fell in the fountain. He ran after her, and once he was at the fountain he pulled her out. "Ella!" he said. "Are you okay?" he asked, setting his bag down, and sitting on the edge of the fountain. Peeta crawled out, and shook his body which had gotten a bit of water on it. He meowed and rubbed his head against Ella's leg.

Ella was now sitting inside the fountain, soaking wet. At least it's warm out she thought, splashing the water with both hands. She closed her eyes momentarily, wishing that maybe no one had seen her but then she felt hands pulling her up. Oh no no no no no...Not Logan! She thought, embarrassed. She both loved and hated that he was always the one to see her when she had done something silly and needed help. "Logan, thanks! I'm-well I'm-wet..." She said, mustering a smile that only Logan could pull out at a moment like this. The small badger lifted one of her arms and began to try and removed the excess water from her sleeve, repeating the act on the opposite arm. She smiled as Peeta rubbed against her leg. "Watch out, Peeta. You don't want to get wet again!" She warned.

"You're welcome. Always here to save the day." he said with a smile. "You know, I was just at the lake swimming a few hours ago today and I believe I brought an extra towel..." he said, digging through his bag and pulling it out. "Well, it's your lucky day!" he said chuckling. "No worries, I didn't use it." he added with a smile, handing it to her.

Peeta kept rubbing his head against her leg, not really caring if she was wet. He purred loudly. "It seems Peeta really likes you." Logan said laughing. "He barley does that to me." he said.

Well good, that was all in their past now. August was very happy about this. He didn't like when people dwelled on things that had already happened and especially in cases like this where no one was hurt.

"Grass and lettuce when I can get it from the kitchens, he just doesnt't eat as much nowadays and sleeps all the time." He was sort of worried for Bruce but he knew that the turtle was really old--but that didn't make him not sad.

Ella looked at Logan, smiling despite the fact that the first year was currently dripping wet. She began running her fingers through her hair slowly, trying to untangle the wet knots. At the mention of a towel, she jumped up excitedly, splashing Logan and Peeta with drops of water. "Er-sorry!" She said sheepishly, grabbing the towel. "You really are a life saver." Ella said sincerely, wrapping the warm towel around herself tightly.

She noted that the tiny cat was still rubbing up against her leg and she bent down, patting him affectionately. "I guess he does like me." Ella said, smiling up at Logan. "I'm sure he likes you more." She added reassuringly.

Hmmm. "Have you thought about asking the Care of Magical Creatures Professor? Maybe he'll have some ideas about how to get Bruce to feel better?"

It was worth a shot, right.

Taryn got up and stretched her arms. "Are you super attached to that bench or can we walk now?" Hehe.

That was a good idea. A person who was paid for taking care of animals and teaching others how to do the same was definately more than qualified to take care of his box turtle. "Professor Williamson probably could help. I will take Bruce to see him tomorrow then."

They had been here a while, perhaps it was time they moved. "Sure we can go." he propped himself up and held out a hand to make her help him up. "You don't mind walking with me up to Gryffindor Tower so I can change out of these Quidditch robes though do you?" They were not very comfortable for everyday use really.

Taryn took his hand and gave a great pull, tugging the Gryffindor boy off of the bench and to his feet.

"I don't knoooow." She teased with a grin, "The Gryffindor common room is sooooooo far away." Seriously though, it was pretty far.
