Ella giggled at Logan, he was pretty funny. She smiled when he kissed her, feeling those butterflies again. She was sure they were making a permanent home in her stomach, not that she minded. She looked at him, head cocked to the side. "You wanted me to catch you, huh?" She poked him in the chest, smirking.

Logan smiled at her and kissed her again. "Yeah, I think that's what I said." he said, giggling as she poked him in the chest. OH NO. Did he just giggle?! AGAIN?!

Ella looked at Logan, eyebrows raised. He had giggled, she heard it and she wanted to melt. It might not have been manly but it was pretty cute. She smiled at him, not able to hide how amused she was. She plopped down on the ground with a sigh, tired from all the running. She looked up at him from her seat on the ground. "How's the weather up there?" She said playfully.

Logan watched as she plopped down on the ground. He cleared his throat and said in the most manly voice he could: "Just to letcha know, that was not a giggle that was a........manly laugh." he said. Then he laughed. "Ah, it's....greeeat!" he said, plopping down next to her and kissing her cheek.

Ella laughed, enjoying Logan's manly voice. She mocked him a bit, smiling. "Oh yeah, very manly..." She giggled and added. "Also very adorable." She smiled when he kissed her cheek and leaned her head against his. It was getting colder and she pulled her sweater tight around her. "It's going to be winter soon, I can't believe how fast this term is going by."

Logan laughed. "Course it is..wait..adorable?" he asked. "Is that a good thing?" he asked, looking at Ella and smiling as she leaned against him. He watched as she pulled her sweater tighter around her. He put his arms around her and squeezed her a little. "Yeah. Before you know it...it'll be summer." he said, sighing. "Speaking of summer, you have to come over sometime this summer." he said, smiling. His aunt's house was actually really fun to be at. Her house was big and you could explore it (well when she was gone or she had company over. She hated being mean in front of people. It was apparently embarrasing). She had woods, two swimming pools...and a library with a secret passageway. Logan still hadn't found it but he knew it was there. Emmy, the maid, told him about it. Logan liked Emmy, she was the only friend he had there. She was real sweet to him.

Ella nodded her head seriously. "Yes, adorable is a good thing." She smiled at him feeling his arms tighten around her. "Thanks, I needed that." When he mentioned summer she had a mix of emotions. Her immediate reaction was happiness because she loved summer and it would be warm again...but leaving Hogwarts and Logan seemed pretty awful and she felt a frown forming on her lips. She looked down, not wanting to think about it. Then, as if he had read her mind he invited her to visit. She looked up at him with a grin she couldn't contain, wondering if she had heard him correctly. "You mean it?" She asked, hoping he did. "You'll have to come see me too of course. My mom would love to meet the boy I'm always writing home abou-" Did I honestly just say that out loud. Oh merlin! Why can't I ever just lock it up!? She looked at him, red faced, wondering if he had caught that. Who knows, maybe he wasn't listening...

Logan couldn't help it, he blushed deeply as she said it was a good thimf. "Well...thank you."
he said, wishing the red in his face would go away. Then he smiled. "Anytime, sweetheart. I'm always here for ya." He said, kissing the top of her head. Then he modded. "Corse I meant it!" He said smiling. Then je raided his eyebrows at what she said. Oh great, he was vlushing again...."you really write about me?!" he asked, his voice cracking...what the heck was that?!

Oh Merlin! He did hear me. Now what do I do? She looked at him and then at the ground, turning redder than he currently was. They looked like quite the pair right now, both red as tomatoes. Ella tried to hide her smile when she heard his voice crack. Good thing I'm looking down! She thought with a smile. Then she tapped her fingers nervously on her leg as she began to explain. "I-well I uh-I write to my family about a lot of things..." She glanced at him sideways and then back at her feet. "And I uh-I guess you're one of things I write to them about..." Especially mom because she gives good advice and dad doesn't like the whole me liking boys thing... "We do spend a lot of time together." She said, almost as a justification as to why she would write about him. She looked up at him, searching his face. Her mind was racing a mile a minute. Does he think I'm weird because I'm writing home about him? I bet he thinks I'm some obsessed weirdo! Oh merlin, why do I always open my big mouth? Maybe he'll be flattered?

"Oh, that's nice." he said, looking at her as she spoke. Well, he wrote about her to. Not to his aunt of course but to Emmy, the maid at their house. He was good friends with her and always wrote to her. "W-well I wr-write about you too..." he said, quietly looking at her. She seemed suddenly nervous and her face was red. She kept looking at him as if he was...scary or something. He cocked his head. "You okay?" he asked.

Monica needed a quiet place to read. She had just gotten a new book from the library and wanted to jump right in. The common room was very noisy and everywhere else seemed to be full of students. She passed through the courtyard and realized it was empty. She smiled to herself and sat under a big oak tree and cracked open her new read.

Ella looked at him with a shocked expression when he told her he wrote about her as well. She really hadn't expected that, especially since Logan seemed like an outgoing boy and must have had plenty other people to write about. "You-you do?" She asked, smiling at him. "What exactly do you say?" She was curious and couldn't help but ask. Realizing she was still red faced and staring at him she shook her head. "Who me? Yeah I'm fine...great actually."

"Yeah, of course." he said. What did he say? Oh...plenty of things. "I er...well, I write to a very close friend of mine at the house. She's my aunt's maid, she's real nice. I told her all about you, how amazingly breathtaking you are...your eyes....your adorable laugh...your sweet personalit-" he paused. What the heck was he telling Ella all this for?! He was surprised he was telling her all that...he blushed deep red and looked at the ground.

"Oh your aunt's maid, that's nice that you're close to her." Ella said smiling and then she continued listening to what he had told her. When he was done Ella didn't know what to say. She was...well red for one. Flattered as well. She leaned forward impulsively and kissed him. She pulled away, smiling at him as she said, "Thank you."

Heheh. Paulie just loved Thea's boldness. She was totally his favorite third-year. He cocked a brow at her new nickname and gave an approving grin. "Paulosaurus, huh? I like it!" It was about time someone gave Paulie a nickname. Merlin knew he gave out a plethora. Now he snorted and rolled his eyes. "Workin'? Oh, how fascinating." NOT. Although that was probably a good thing and not something that Paulie should have been discouraging, particularly considering his academic circumstances. "How's the family? Keeping those million brothers of yours in line this summer?" It was funny because Paulie didn't even know her family.. at all. But he sorta felt like he did, what with her explanations about her irritating brothers!

Alec pulled his coat tighter around him as he walked down the corridor and into the courtyard. It was way too cold to be wandering around the grounds like this. Maybe this is why not many people could be seen to be jumping and screaming and going mad out here.

Or maybe they were saving that kind of behaviour for the summer.

Either way, he could still meet someone here. Someone who, hopefully, wasn't a girl and wasn't about to pinch his cheeks. It was okay that only Ness and Lyss were pinching his cheeks but if it became some sort of trend, he might just have to hide in his dorm room with that crazy pillow fighting dormmate of his.

Seeing a stone bench, Alec wandered over towards it and sat down. Cold cold and more COLD! EEK! Could Hogwarts get any colder? He shifted himself slightly on the bench. There. That was perfect for him now.

Zack was on his best moods today, something about the weather made him feel at ease, though not much of the people enjoyed this weather as he did as he saw many shiver with cold.

He felt very fresh walking in the courtyard and a slight smile appeared on his face. He hadn't much much many friends on here at Hogwarts, maybe it was time he looked for few first years around to get some company, but whenever he tried his luck he turned out the the elder students didn't really match his height. He smiled at he thought about that for a while.

As he walked the field his eyes moved towards a figure sitting on the stone bench. He moved towards his and sat beside his wondering if he should starting talking to the boy who almost looked of his age.

Benches... a fountain... and loads of space. This place would be perfect for kite flying! It had an opening and it'll be sunny enough to fly some kites in the summer! It was a good thing it was snowy right now, then. What with Quidditch and everything, kite flying would have to wait.

But then his train of thoughts got interrupted by the presence of someone sitting down next to him. Turning his head, Alec gave the new boy a confused smile look. This boy was going to talk to him, wasn't he? Maybe he was an avid kite flier as well!

After a moments silence, Alec let the confused look disappear from his face and smiled at the boy. At least he looked like he was more or less his age. Finally! A guy his age he can talk to! "It's Christmas soon!" Alec said. Christmas always got him excited.

Zack was about to laugh when the boy looked at him all so confused. Zack should change the way he appeared to people, but maybe that was okay, it made him laugh all the time. He tried not to laugh and make the boy more confused in his thoughts.

He was looking through the trees when he heard the boy speak "Oh yeah, it is. Love Christmas." he said smiling to the boy and took a view around the place snow and looked back at him and said "Hi, I'm Zack, Zack Tatum" he said holding up his hand for a handshake.

Alec grinned. The boy loved Christmas as well! That was a definite sign that they could get along well. "It does snow a lot here, doesn't it?" he said, reaching down into the snow and packing himself a snowball. "Watch out!" And... THROW!

And then the boy introduced himself. Finally! They wouldn't have that awkward wishy washy stuff that some people seemed to bring up sometimes in conversations. "Nice to meet you Zack," Alec said, shaking the boy's hand, "I'm Alec, Alec Summers."

Zack looked at the boy as he spoke and noticed him banding dawn and he knew what was coming up. He quickly tried to get up from his seat, but then it was too late he was attacked.

Oh Cool, how fun he thought as the boy threw a snow ball at his. So he too enjoy a sow fight he thought and garbed some snow in his hand for his defense and threw at his and started laughing and said "Nice meeting ya, Alec" Hmm....Zack liked his name.

Thea tilted her head to the side as Paulie thought about her nickname. Smiling, she nodded triumphantly. Success.. of course.
The Gryffindor just looked at the older boy as she tried not to roll her eyes. 'Oui.' She simply replied.
Tugging at her scarf, she tightened it around her neck as the wind seemed to pick up pace. Looking down, she shrugged. 'Fine I suppose.' The last owl from their mother confirmed that.. kind of. They had all read it together.. and the outcome had been interesting. Looking up, Thea smiled brightly. 'How's your large fam doing?' Bopping on the balls of her feet slightly, she grinned. Thea knew he only lived with his Mam, but he would know what she meant..

Alec grinned as Zack got attacked with the snowball. It would be nice if he made a friend who was a similar age as him. And what would be better is if the two had regular snowball fights. Except... that probably wouldn't work in the summer. "So what year are you in?" he asked.

OOMPH!

Now it was HIS turn to get hit by a snowball! He really should have seen that coming. "Are you secretly some sort of champion snowball fighter?" he asked, eyeing Zack slightly as he bent down and grabbed some snow. Pack pack pack... and throw!

"Yeah..." Logan said, smiling shyly. Then she was leaning forward. Logan felt his hear start beating quickly. He hated when it did tha-now she was kissing him.! Kissing him? Heh heh heh...he smiled as she pulled away. He kept staring at her. She had this weird..way of...hypnotizing him or something. He'd never had a girl who was able to do that before. But man, she was..so amazingly beautiful. He kept gazing at her, her mouth was moving...she must of been saying something. But all Logan heard was...nothing, actually. Just the loud thumping of his heart...could Ella hear that too?! He hoped not!

Ella watched as Logan stared at her. Just stared. Boy did he do that a lot-the staring thing. It made Ella feel all loopy. He didn't respond when she said thank you and she raised her eyebrows. He was looking at her rather intensely and she felt hot under his gaze. She was sure she was red and her stomach started doing that-flippy floppy thing it always did when he was near. She smoothed her hair and smiled at him, trying to break him out of whatever trance he was in. "Logan?" When he didn't respond, she laughed and poked him. "Earth to Logan...anyone in there?" She was beaming at him, amused by this situation and waited for him to respond.
