A stone square courtyard is the first aspect of the grounds that you come to after you travel through the corridor. Surrounded by magnificent stone columns adorned with luscious ivy and slight lily growth, the courtyard provides students with benches to sit on with their friends or for the one who just wishes for some peace and quiet. Also, in the middle stands a very illustrious Wishing Fountain.

Taylor felt her friend hugging her and she looked up. She hugged her friend back, "I...I... I just cant believe he is gone....." Taylor covered her face again, which caused her next words to be muffled, "I miss him." Her shoulders shook a little. She never expected that her father would be gone..... now she only had a mother whom she hated with all her guts for something her mother had no control over. She still blamed her mother for staying away for eleven years.

As Dallin started talking again, Ellie frowned a little bit. He was a good actor because he wasn't happy. Which Ellie knew now. She should have known, really, that he was unhappy. They dated for two years and Ellie couldn't tell that the love of her life wasn't happy? That was kind of sad.

At least he admitted that kissing Vashti was a huge mistake. Ellie was relieved that he thought so. She looked back at her cold hands and rubbed them together to try and warm them up. Hopefully Vashti would forgive Dallin because it wasn't really his fault. If Louisa was right, which she had been lately, it was Ellie's fault that Dallin felt like he had to kiss someone to make her jealous. Vashti just happened to be there.

For a moment, Ellie didn't know what to say. But when he apologized, she did. "No, no... Don't be sorry, Dallin. None of this would have happened if I hadn't have dumped you." Dumped was kind of a harsh word. Buuuut she already said it. "I'm sorry, okay? It's my fault..." Her voice was kind of quiet now. As she looked up at him again, Ellie kind of just wanted to tackle him. This was the first functional conversation they had had in a while. Ellie missed him. And everything they used to be.

Ellie's response wasn't what Dallin had expected. It mostly sounded... hypothetical. Except Dallin was sure that it wasn't. Because she corrected herself. Best friends couldn't fill his spot in her heart. That was... well, he could definitely understand what she meant. Because he was sure that he felt the same way.

She missed him. It was the second time she had said that since they'd started talking... so why did it matter more now? Maybe because Dallin's anger was already starting to crumble. It was almost pathetic how just being around her again made him want to do anything to get back with her. Even if it meant forgiving her instantly for breaking up with him. And whatever else had gotten them into this mess.

But he knew he couldn't do that yet, no matter how much he wanted to. Because there were just a few more things he needed to talk about. But, for now... "I miss you too, Ellie. So much. And... I hate not being around you." After spending two years being practically inseparable... they were suddenly apart. And it wasn't... natural. "And I know what you were saying. She couldn't even sleep anymore; she just spent the whole night tossing and turning ~~and being pathetic~~. He hated not being around her, too. Ellie would have smiled at that, but she was too sad, nostalgic, longing for what they used to have and she wondered if it would ever be the same.

His last comment actually surprised Ellie. Being friends with him might be able to make it better? Ellie disagreed. On her part, anyway. She looked up at him and studied his face for a moment. "I don't want to be friends with you, Dallin." Forward and straight to the point. Which could be the wrong point, she realized. So she hurried and amended that. "Just friends, that is." Her voice got quiet again as she searched his eyes for some sort of reassurance.

"I don't think... I know how to be just friends with you." And she hoped with all of her heart that he felt the same way. Because she didn't know what she would do if he didn't.

Ryan slowly walked around doing some stretches and eventually stopped.He looked around,Sunny with afew clouds.

And with that he set off thinking of all the things he needed to do at Hogsmeade hopefully with Chelsea.Speaking of her,he hadn't seen her in a while.

"You're welcome," she said smiling. She was about to have another awww moment till the older lion continued on and said she wasn't allowed to date until after Kurumi left. "Well, I don't think that would be a problem." She wasn't really big on dating anyway. "Though, if I wait until after you graduate, I just hope I'll be prepared and ready to take on that kind of challenge without you here to help."

She had really begun to rely on the older girl. It was a bad habit to have, but until she absolutely needed to stand on her own, it was a habit that would stick. Plus, she didn't really have anyone else to turn.

"Statua Habitum!" Saying it again, with a more detailed vision in her head, and she traced that square motion gradually. The edges that had shrunk earlier, shrunk even more but in a more stylish way. They formed thin cutout stems of flowers or plants, moving slowly and harmonically with each other the stems froze up forming a pale, stylish yet simple outline of a frame.

"Hmm." The girl pointed her wand again, "Statua Habitum," tracing a square inside the stems that formed the outer frame. The white paper where the wand was pointing and slightly touching started to change color. The white color started darken gradually, to brown first and then few lighter and darker lines started to form which eventually made a wood-like color.

Stems of flowers surrounding a wooden frame that wasn't necessarily square. Louisa stared at the paper trying to figure out at least one step to make it more... cheerful?

The only thing he knew how to be with Ellie was her boyfriend. No matter how cheesy or pathetic that sounded.

"So what do you want?" he asked, his voice sounding harsher than he had thought. He stopped, but before Ellie could get a word in he continued. "You're confusing, you know that?" Always was. That probably wouldn't change any time soon, no matter how long he had known her. "You say that it was horrible without me, and that you don't know how to be friends with me. But you broke us up, Ellie." He brushed his hands through his hair, leaving his hands at the base of his neck.

"I don't know what to do anymore. Because I want no more than to be with you again. But what happens next time we get in a fight? Next time you or I say something that accidentally hurts the other? Are we going to break up? Because I can't do that anymore." He couldn't go through another break up with Ellie. He just couldn't.

After saying that, Gwen looked back at her copy of the daily Prophet. It wasn’t anything new in there, and the third year couldn’t believe she spent so much time trying to snap the paper from that monstrous owl. Grr. ‘What is that spell that turns paper into other objects?’, she mused and then looked back at Lewis. Any ideas? Meh… if he didn’t know as well, she could always make a plane out of it… or just pass it to Ariadne.

Oh. Err, maybe she didn't agree with him after all. Uh-oh. "Y-yes..?" Lewis stuttered, biting his lip anxiously as he tried to assess if his original plan of running away might be a good idea now after all. "Err...b-both I guess." Even though he usually wasn't THAT good with knowing what to say and what better to leave unsaid, but this time he just knew that pointing out that he had only been referring to her not being nice would NOT be a good idea.

And there she was, agreeing with him again. She was enigma. And now she was laughing too. And Lewis was pretty sure she was laughing WITH him and not AT him. Heh. Smiling a little awkwardly, he shook his head once more at the thought of the first years running around Hogwarts. "...or actions." Like that one Hufflepuff who had just gone up to the Charms professor to give her a hug! Ridiculous.

Right. Slytherin. He didn't know too many Slytherins - or ANY really, not that he knew of anyway - so Lewis wasn't quite sure what 'all the characteristics of the Slytherin house' were. "Oh." Okay, what else was there to say? It wasn't HIS fault she'd apparently been sorted into the wrong house. Nonetheless, and just because he felt the need to add something, Lewis said, "I'm sorry." Yes, this seemed to be an appropriate response. Or something.

Lewis followed Gwen's gaze down to the Daily Prophet in her hands, subconsciously scooting a little closer and craning his neck so he could read what was on the cover. He was going to have to subscribe to that too some time. Not now though. Obviously. Looking up sharply at her question, Lewis just stared at her for a moment, his eyes narrowed suspiciously. "Why? He asked slowly. Who knew what she would turn the paper into.

Louisa was touching the frame that she'd designed so far. It was a bit of a woody frame surrounded by ornamental stems of flowers and plants. The ornaments were pale, though. "Well, we should give you some color." She hesitantly pointed her wand at the ornaments and murmured, "Statua Habitum," tracing over all the spots where Louisa wanted to change color.

The color white started to deepen, turning to a yellowish orange shade. When her wand moved on to another edge, the vision of the colored ornaments in Louisa's head changed and the colors started to blossom there according to her imagination, bluish yellow. On to another edge of the frame, the colors changed once again paralleling the girl's demands.

Eventually, the frame looked like she had wanted. And there was one person in her head to give it to. Someone who'd appreciate it and her transfiguration skill.

His voice was rather... harsh. But before Ellie could react to it too much, he kept talking. And what he said made a small smile appear on her lips. Yeah, Ellie was confusing. Probably the most confusing person she'd ever met. Her smile faded though. It wasn't really a good thing.

Resting her elbows on her legs, Ellie leaned forward and buried her face in her hands. Dallin made a very good point. She sighed heavily. This was too confusing and it was all her fault.

Ellie sat up again. "Honestly, I think I learned my lesson." She looked back up at Dallin. "I can't be without you. And I'll know that now and the next time we get in a fight or one of us gets hurt." Because that will happen. No relationship is happily ever after; there was always bumps in the road. "Just promise me that next time you want to leave..." She smiled faintly. "Explain to me why before I make any assumptions." Because believing that your love of two years didn't want to be with you anymore was kind of shattering.

The blonde Slytherin entered the court yard twirling her wand in her hand. Beautiful day. Happy. Yep, it was a good day. And hogsmeade was finally open, so she could get more sweets whenever she decided to go. Now just to find a friend to go with her. Or her boyfriend whenever he showed up again.
Speaking of the boyfriend, there he was. Chelsea snuck up behind him "Guess who?" she smiled. Obvious. Ryan knew her well enough to know who it was.

This would be interesting, she'd finally know the full story, the only thing that worried her was how bad Adam had really been, because if he had done terrible things it wouldn't be so easy for her to trust him, but she'd still try.

Katie Star? Who in the name of Merlin was that? O_O Nessie honestly had no idea whatsover, but whoever this girl was Adam described her as not a very friendly person, so Nessie had no intention of becoming friends with this girl, but maybe she'd find out who the girl was...you know so she could keep and eye on this girl. "Oh..um..I thought Kurumi was the first person you started dating, and this Katie Star seems kinda mean..whoever she is." She said only a few words just to make sure he could see that she was listening.

"So um..after you and Kurumi started to be a couple what happened?" she could tell there was much, much more to the story and that this was only the beginning of it all.

She lifted her feet onto the bench and sat facing Adam, with her legs crossed. This story would take a while, and she just wanted to make sure she would be comfortable.

Owww? Where'd that come from? Had his little playful punch really been that hard? Adam didn't expect so, but he guessed maybe Nessie wasn't so used to his roughness, though he thought he hadn't put much force behind it. "Sorryyy?" He apologized in a confused manner.

He shook his head at the mention of Kurumi possibly being his first girlfriend. That wasn't true. She was her first...Adam didn't even want to think that his first kiss had now kind of lost it's old spark an magic an had been...replaced. "Kurumi was my second girlfriend, but I was her first, you know." He really didn't need to talk on that matter, Nessie would understand what he wanted to say.

"Like I said-Katie was an is crazy. Don't try to talk to her, you'll...regret ever getting to know her." An that is how he felt throughout the whole drama they had together. Even more crazy, Adam didn't comprehend why he had actually suggested, after their break up, to possibly get back. He hadn't even liked her in the first place.

Now this part really fragmented Kurumi's trust in Adam. She had always believed everything he said, even if it was a lie. But this point she didn't take it. "I umm..Well, a while after we dated I kind of liked two of my other friends." He began to awkwardly run his hand over the back of his neck, Nessie wouldn't like to hear this. "An I began to ...flirt with them.Get this straight-" Adam pointed at her, informing Nessie that this might change her opinion on him an that it was crucial she didn't get the wrong information. "I.Did.Not.Cheat.On.Her. I just told Kurumi-I umm..needed something different in our relationship."

His 3rd year really hurt their relationship, friendship in all ways, some were partly his fault, some where partly his stupid parents fault. The people he despised. If it hadn't been for them, maybe things wouldn't be as broken at the moment.

"Yes it would be" she replied with a smile. She knew that wouldn't get past him. "Oh, just about to head to hogsmeade actually" said Chelsea. Yeah, it was on her way out of the castle. He was either busy or waiting for someone because of his confused look.

WOAH. Something was definitely wrong and it was do it with the guy Marcelo. But what? She honestly couldn't figure it at all. Hm. This was just weird. Did she say something wrong? No. Not really. Evelyn finally understood. Yep. She definitely knew what this meant. Sigh. "Oh, really? Good for him. I'm sure she's really nice." Uh, yeah. That's all she had to say. She definitely didn't have a problem with him having a girlfriend. It's not she 'liked' him or anything. "..and, no. I haven't met her."

Adam shook his head to show that she shouldn't apologize at all. "No, don't apologize! It's nice talking to someone that has seen places, and even lived in places that you want to visit." He chuckled as she responded in shock that he hadn't been to California yet. "Yeah, you would think given my parents were traveling relators that they would have had at least one opportunity to do business there, but nope," Adam said with a small shake of the head. "Maybe one day though, once I've got a job and maybe have money to spend on traveling for fun," Adam said with a thoughtful grin. Wouldn't that be awesome...

Adam realized and quite quickly that he had made the conversation quite awkward and he felt terrible about the whole thing. Way to be smooth Adam, way to be smooth. "Sorry to come off a little blunt," Adam said with an apologetic little frown. "It's just me being a protective friend, and if Louisa knew I was pestering someone after just meeting them because I found out they were friend's with her boyfriend, she'd probably jinx me," Adam said with a little chuckle. Err...hopefully she didn't think that he'd run into her on purpose. After all, how could she think that considering that he didn't even know that she even knew him until they started talking. "So my apologies if you guys are friend and some of my biases are being unrightfully entered into the convo," Adam said, letting out a little sigh.

"So, do you have any siblings?" Adam asked, hoping they might be able to get into a lighter, less Joao-centered convo.

But... oh. Dallin frowned at Ellie's last words and looked away. Explain why he left before he did it. Yeah, well... with a sigh, he looked back at her. "Right. I will. I just... I was afraid that if I didn't walk away then that I would say something that I really regretted. Or I'd yell at you." Really yell at her. And he didn't want to do that. Ever.

"I promise I'll explain things to you. If you promise you're okay with me being brutally honest." Most of the time he was honest with her anyway. But you never know... something not-so-good might slip out if Ellie wanted him to tell her why he wad upset with her.

Well, that made sense. Dallin left because he was afraid of saying something he would have regretted. Ellie nodded a little. "I understand that," she said quietly. She knew that Dallin had a hard time calming down when he got mad or frustrated. Ellie was the same way so it made sense.

"I want nothing but honesty and I'll give you the same." Honesty and trust were key things to successful relationships and that was what Ellie wanted. "I just want this to work." Her voice was quiet again. Because she was kind of contradicting what she said when she broke up with him. But she was taking at all back and hoping that Dallin realized that.

Hesitantly, Ellie moved her hand across the bench and rested it on Dallin's before looking up at his eyes again. Hopefully this was okay...?
