She had just returned to their base after giving up on getting the yellow cloth from the Hufflepuffs!

Oh, no..You don't. Beezus raised her wand, "Glisseo!" she uttered as she send sparks to the path that the Slytherin Prefect was treading.

Oh dear it appears Ravenclaw are flagless!

They were flagless and they still had other team mates in other house's jails.

She looked at the remaining eagles. "You guys. We can't give up. We'll need a good plan. Please give out your suggestions." she said. They will gain back their flag, she'll make sure of that.

Taylor came back to the courtyard, "I tried chasing down the slytherins since we had no flags but they got away." She tugged on her braid "I went over to the williow to see how protected it was and there were huffies everywhere but that should of been oblivious since they have 3 flags, and i heard that most of the slytherins are at their place again......." She trailed off.

Vickers hustled towards the Courtyard. There was a lot of running and sneaking around going on that it was hard for him to figure out who got what and whats going to be done where. Given that he wasnt particularly attuned to this kind of athleticism he stayed largely around neutral zones.

But he finally made it to the Ravenclaw base. He saw the feisty young Ravenclaw (Beezus) he met at the feast earlier that term. "Uhm hi...." he started lamely "Wh-Whats going on?" Information is power Claws! Give it to him!

"Those and badges and snakes work in groups I tell you," she told Taylor. That was fairly true, those Hufflepuffs would corner any intruder and those snakes. "Well..even if they were just staying on their base. They were many in numbers. "

And honestly speaking, they need more on their team too.

"Hello, what's your name again" she asked lazily. Just where was this Claw from? Didn't he know that they needed help? "Well..our flags been taken by the Badgers." she replied when the boy asked the current situation.

"And as far as I know, the Hufflepuffs have three flags in their possession right now.. And the snakes one." she added. "That means us and the lions are lagging behind.." So true, they needed a move on now. As in NOW.

"Uhm... my name is Vickers..." the boy mumbled in reply "Wh-Whats your name?"

Wait did she say the Ravenclaw flag has been taken? He blinked as he looked around the courtyard"We lost our flag already?" he uttered dismayed. "Shouldnt there be someone protecting it?" He wasnt around for that obviously. As hesitant as he was oftentimes, he sure wasnt one to roll over and hand things over "So what do we do now? Should we try to get it back? Or... do we just get another team's flag?" He struggled to bring out his Charms notes. Oh boy he needed to bring himself up to speed with whats going on around here....

Vickers? What in Merlin's beard was that? It was his name? Really? Heh. "Well.." cough. "..nice to meet you Vickersss.." said Beezus, clearly emphasizing the 'ssss'. "I'm Beezus." she replied when he inquired for her name.

Was that even a question? "Obviously..We have. It was supposed to be under a rock." So how did the enemy caught it? Gaaaahhh! Low manpower is really their enemy too. "I believe Eino and the others were protecting it." Yup, but hey! Where was this boy off to when all those happened? "Where were you anyway?" she decided to voice out her inquiry. Maybe if he was there then he could've helped the others protect their blue cloth. Other teams flags? Hmmm..Beezus thought for a moment. He was older than her eh? But why was he asking her? Oh well.."Err--I don't think it really does matter. We could try and get it back or not. Either way, we just need to hold possession of a flag." That was their goal, so to speak.

"I was helping Lulu escape with the red flag." Eino explained after regaining enough energy to do so. He wiped his forehead one more time with his sleeve and let out a heavy sight before continuing. "The hufflepuff took ours just as I arrived." He followed with an excuse. He was exhausted after running through the grounds, so naturally he didn't have enough energy to even lift himself up. He was still red and hot from all that running, he looked like a fire seed. "We should go rescue our housemates first, then retrieve the flags." He finally said after some thought. They really didn't have enough people, plus they had nothing to guard here so they could all leave for a moment.

Having decided to take a small detour before heading over to check on their red flag, Kurumi hid herself behind a pillar in the courtyard and saw...that there was a Gryffindor in jail. Really? Did it really HAVE to be HIM stuck there. Kurumi returned to her hiding place and looked up. For the pride...for the pride...for the pride... she reminded herself over and over again.

Taking her wand out of her robes, Kurumi cast Protego Totalum on herself. That would at least stop the first spell cast at her from hitting her. Her spell casting for this particular spell was still rather weak, but since her hiding place and the jail were not very far from each other, it ought to hold.

Taking a deep breath, Kurumi burst from her hiding spot while the Ravenclaws were busy discussing strategy and ran towards Adam with her hand stretched out. "Grab my hand," she commanded. He better be thankful for this.

Adam was basically humming to himself, counting off the minutes it would take for someone, ANYONE to save him. Honestly, did it really take that long to check out all the spots being held for the game.

"Man, whatever happened to the Lion pride." he mumbled to himself. But just as he said that he heard a voice, an he spun around to find her. Now, he liked what she was saying, "Maybe just for a while longer..Maybe?" he asked her in a smooth voice, but then his face went straight as he knew she would not find his joke funny. Adam reached out his hand an grabbed hers. "Thanks. I've been waiting for ages." He spoke gratefully as he took her side.

"So, what's the plan?" Adam had been gone for an extensive time. He had no clue what was going on, who needed help, who needed to be rescued an what not.

Ages? More like 10 minutes or so, but there was no time to chit chat now. "The plan? We RUN," she said, letting go of his hand as quickly as she could. "Back to the front gate."

Thankfully, the Ravenclaws still seemed distracted, so it was just a matter of sprinting. Which she did, right out of the courtyard.

They were all so busy discussing their strategy when Beezus suddenly heard rustling of..leaves? From..their jail area?

And when she turned around, the lioness Prefect was releasing the other Prefect! She stared for a moment and.. "Oh, no you don't!" Quickly, she ran towards them, wand in hand. She ran while casting, "Immobulus!" It was directed towards the male Prefect.

"Claws! Kurumi's trying to release Adam!" she yelled at the other eagles.

Well, it felt like ages to him. He was rather glad that he had been freed he was getting anxious to actually be productive in the game than rather stand around. Run. He could do that. "Front gate..Right.." he whispered quietly so no one would hear them.

He followed right behind her, but the girl had fire coming out of her shoes. Kurumi was already heading out of the courtyard while Adam took the slightest of a second to pick up his dropped wand. To the Front Gate.

Oh oh, they heard them.

"PROTEGO!!" Adam cried out at the raveclaw who was announcing their attempt to leave. Kurumi was way ahead of him an he lost sight of her. She had said Front Gate, but...No. He was going elsewhere..

Shield Charm. GREAT. Just great. Beezus smirked. She was just a bit too late. Why haven't she noticed Kurumi? GGRRRR! Now they don't have any capture. Oh well... that makes it easier for them. Now, all eagles can fly and leave their base for a while.

"Good bye Prefects! See you!" Beezus called out as the two Gryffindor Prefects sprinted out of the Courtyard.

Harvey entered his territory to meet up with Beezus as per her instructions to him

"I am here Beezus.. what do we do?" he asked her as he looked around to see if there were any other claws in the area..

After the failure of catching the two Gryffindor Prefects, Beezus sat on a stone in the Courtyard. They did not have a solid plan yet and those Badgers already had three. They will need to infiltrate their base if they would wan't to earn some flags.

Just then, Harvey arrived. "I dunno exactly..I guess we have to free some team mates first...or not. Either way, we need to go after the flags." she said.

Harvey listened to Beezus and knew that they would have to release team mates as well as capture the flags.. "I see.. well I would think it would be better to try to release some team mates so that we have more man-power" he said looking around "Or you and me could just go after those flags" he said sitting down next to her trying to formulate a solid plan in his head.. this was going to be tough.. but they had to do it if they wanted those flags from the Badgers

It wasn't such a bad idea. Two against one was good enough for her but then again, how about their captured team mates? Hmmmm.. Think Beezus. Think.

She turned to face him. "Well..if we'd go together..you think you can handle it?" Because she was clearly considering the idea. After all, they weren't like those lions who prioritized pride. Maybe if she and him would lurk into the Badgers base they might catch a flag.

Harvey still looked around to see if any claws were straggling about but no luck.. he then turned to Beezus as she spoke to him.. could he handle it.. him against a certain Badger he had heard was playing.. yes he could for his house "Yes I can handle it.. we can go together." he said smiling at Beezus.. since he was here now he wasnt backing out now.. he had come here as they needed man-power.

"So how do you want to go about this?" he asked looking at her as he thought of how to get those flags from the Badgers.

Lewis just remained standing there, staring down at Gwen, waiting for some kind of reaction from her. He just wanted to make sure she knew that. Because he wasn't. At least he was pretty sure he wasn't. No, he WASN'T. He hadn't done anything wrong after all. His reaction had been quite normal.

When Gwen FINALLY looked up from her newspaper, Lewis tried putting on a normal look. Whatever that was. "Yes." He said with a vigorous nod. So, did she believe him? She hadn't objected. But then again, she hadn't agreed with him either. "It's true!" Lewis finally added, reaching down to poke her arm arm softly to get her to look at him again.

What was she reading anyway that was so important?!

Tayla panted as she reached the courtyard. That was a close call at The Whomping Willow. The next time she'd try to go there, Tayla had to be sure she could push through with her plan right away. There was no time for sneaking around and waiting. She knew what spell she had to use, she just had to go and do it. And then grab the flag!

But first...she had to catch her breath. Phew!

A few minutes later, she headed back to the front gate.

She was really considering that idea. But then.. "On the other hand, I guess we should just free the captives. We'll need more Eagles to fly around." That was so true. There were a few of them who seemed interested in their Charmswork.

"You know..if we both get captured," since that was very possible. "Then..no one would be left," she added. Well..there would still be a few left but limiting their numbers would totally eliminate their chance.

Harvey was listened to Beezus.. "Yes.. I think you are right.. we need more Eagles back.. " he said "Yes I know.. that is what makes this more difficult.. to go for flags or Eagles.. I think it would be best to increase Eagle numbers like you just said.. that way we have more chanced of aquiring the flags back from the Badgers" he said. he knew she was right.. Eagle numbers had to increase it was the best chance they had at getting the flags..

‘Fine. Just… get over it already…’, the girl said and raised her shoulders. It wasn’t something she would actually care about. Psh. Not even minding to look back at Lewis, the third year asked calmly: ‘So you say I thought you are crazy?’, but didn’t expect to get an answer. Now that you mention it—I believe you might be.

What now?, she wanted to say but didn’t, as she felt he poked her arm. Don’t be rude… Don’t be rude… Don’t be rude, Gwen kept telling herself as she finally looked back at him. What?

‘Erm… the Daily Prophet’, she said and gestured with her hand. ‘It’s nothing new in here, really. They are just going through the same stuff…’, the girl mused, and suddenly stopped, realizing that Lewis hadn’t asked about it. Nice going, Gwendolyn, she ‘congratulated’ herself.
