Gemma had to admit that she was extra excited to visit the Runes Professor...to welcome him (yes Gemma was the unofficial welcoming crew), to drool over him, to talk to him about Muggle sports, and to just be in the Runes Classroom. She had always loved Runes when she went to High School. They were so intriguing to her. It wasn't one of her strongest subjects but she had always tried very hard to excel in the class.

She clicked down the hall in her blue heels towards the door to his office holding a big orange bag in her right hand. She reached the door and smoothed out her skirt before knocking on the door twice.

Realizing that he might have someone in the office already, she took a seat in the wooden bench beside the door and waited patiently.

The knock on the door brought Oliver out of his bored stupor. Finally! A visitor! For a moment there he thought he was being boycotted. No doubt his antics at the feast had probably put some people off.

He still owed Willy an apology.

He could wait though.

Rising out of his chair, Oliver thought about putting the swamp in but decided to leave it for later. He strolled over to the door, he poked his head out after opening it and upon seeing Gemma sitting on the bench, his face twitched into a grin.

"Well this is a pleasant surprise." Okay yes it shouldn't be since he had invited her, but he hadn't expected her this soon. "And she's brought presents too." he said, spying the orange bag in her hand. "Please come in Gemma."

Nate walks up to the door and knocks on it because he didn't get to greet the ancient runes teacher at the start of term feast.

Ancient Runes. Now this is her element.

Sylia Rose walked slowly down the corridor leading to the office of what might be her new favorite professor. Granted she hasn't met the man/woman, but if the fact that they were teaching her beloved subject... well she had to make them her favorite. It would be downright strange if she didn't, right?

Just as she rounded the corner she saw a tall woman, probably another professor, enter the office and the door closed. Drat, she was a few seconds to late. Letting out a sigh, she waved the back of her hand over her forehead to toss away a few fly away bangs. Tapping her foot, she noticed a student also waiting. He must have been a few minutes short too. Looking around the end of the corridor she noticed a bench. Lovely, a place to sit.

Walking over, Sylia sat down and instantly crossed her legs at her ankles. What to do to pass the time? She had brought herself a book but would they be that long? Rolling her eyes at her silly thoughts, she ran a hand over her copy of Hairy Snout, Human Heart. Werewolf equality was something not to be messed with and she was happy enough to say she was a proud supporter of those with the infliction. She opened up to her bookmark and began reading.

Looks like he wasn't going to be bored any longer. "You may come into the office."

louise knocked on the door she hoped he could help

Aww, really? William really had to knock outside his best friend's office and WAIT to be let in? Will hmmphed to himself but knocked loudly and obnoxiously anyway, sitting down on the Rowan bench with a sigh once he had.

Come on, Oliver. He tugged a folded up square of parchment out of his back pocket while he waited, nervously turning it over and over in his hands.

Oliver had been dusting off his trophies, yes he could be a clean freak at times, when he heard the knock on the door. He didn't get many visitors. He didn't know if that was a good or bad thing yet. According to Thea, it was a good thing.

Slipping his wand back into its holster, he opened the office door and stuck his head out. "You can come --William?" Olly's eyebrows raised for a moment before a grin formed on his face. "Since when do you abide by the rules? Well come on then, get inside. Can't have you loitering in the corridor."

Ella knocked on the Professor's door anxiously, hoping he was there. "Professor Jenkins, please open up!"

"WOAH! You're gonna bust your hand on the door hitting it that hard." Oliver peered down at the young girl and gave her a questioning look. "What's up?"

Ella tried to catch her breath as she looked at the Professor with wide eyes. "P-professor there's a -a..." what was it again? "a skrewt thing at the p-pathways and it-it tried to a-attack another student. P-please come h-help! No o-other professors are a-around"

A skrewt thing? Oliver wanted to ask her what exactly that was but the look of panic on her face made him stop. There was a time and place for jokes and he supposed this wasn't one of those times.

"Lead the way then."
