Hayley nodded. "That would be nice." She said referring to getting something to eat with him. She smiled to herself as he helped her put his jacket on and zipped it up. It hung quite big on her but it was nice. "Thanks." She asked smiling up at him.

His shout? Whhat? She tilted her head to the side, a bit confused. "What do you mean?" She asked curiously.

This was nice, just talking to James with Rufus here. She wondered if he still remembered the last time they talked. It wasn't quite nice as this, stupid list got in her way.

"'s okay. You're warm now, right?" He grinned at her. It was kinda cute she was all.... tiny in it. She wasn't shivering at least.

"As in. I'll pay. My shout. I'll.... buy you something to eat." He waggled his eyebrows at her.

Rufus peeked out from James scarf and James absently stroked the little monkey with his fingertip.

"Yeah, it's much better now." Hayley said smiling back at him. She seemed really smiley today. o___O

Ohh, so that's what he meant. Hmm, she never heard it that way before she actually thought he was going to shout. Hehh. "You really don't have to." She said an expression of amusement upon her face as he waggled his eyebrows at her.

She slightly smiled at Rufus as he peeked out and pet him once more.

"Good and I know I don't." Jimmy answered. "Buuuut I'm gonna anyway."

Now it was down to where she wanted to go. there were options.

"So... Hogs Head, Three Broomsticks and Puddifoots are the places with food and drink right? What one would you rather be my unofficial date to then?"

Unofficial because.... it wasn't one. But you know, still fun.

"You're too sweet, you know that?" Hayley said shaking her head at him. "And stubborn." She added with a smile.

"How about Madam Puddifoot's? I'm in for some tea and cheescake right about now." She asked him, wondering if he would be up for it. Unofficial date? Hmm, well she guessed she could go with that.

"More stubborn than sweet. Don't be fooled." James grinned as they reached the end of the alley, the bright light of Hogsmeade main street beckoned.

"You know, you'll be the first girl I've ever been there with? I hear its... nice." He waggled his eyebrows again. Hah. "Maybe we can get some fruit or something." He added and then, to clarify, "So Rufus can have something too."

On account of he cared about the little guy.

Hooking his arm with Hayley's he led the way to Puddifoots and then once they got there, gentleman that he is, Jimmy held the door for her.

Sadie walked with her chin down and hands in her plaid gray and purple pea coat. A greet scarf was around her neck and she had on oxfords with tights and a black skirt. She somehow found her way into a dark alley that was shielded from the coldness she was experiencing. She sat down on a crate and leaned her head against the cold wall, then took her phone out of her pocket. The girl opened up the pictures on the iPhone and flipped through them then sighed and lowered her hand.

How long was it going to be before she decided to talk to her parent's again?

Merlin's beard, it was a cold weekend to come to Hogsmeade. But, naturally, that wouldn't stop Aiden from going. Hogwarts was amazing of course, but it was always a welcomed change when the students got the opportunity to wander around Hogsmeade instead. He meandered along the street, kicking at the snow no and then, before seeing a figure sitting alone in the back alley. After taking a second glance, he came to realize that this was Miss Sadie Perdieu.

The seventh year took a detour, and walked further down the alley until he came to her. "Hey, Sadie," he said, lightly kicking the grate she was sitting on. "What are you doing?"

As Sadie was sitting on her crate, she saw a person enter the alley. It was too hard to make out at first and she could only see a black silhouette. She hoped this wasn't some kind of creeper boy or something. But as the figure approached nearer she realized it was....Aiden? The girl looked down at her feet and watched as he kicked the crate slightly that she sat on.

"Hi Aiden," she countered, looking back up at him. "Oh just doing what I've been doing for a good month. Moping. I'm a wreck Aiden," the girl complained, running a hand through the curly blond locks in frustration. Urghhhh.....

Sigh. Hadn't all teens gone through that stage at some point? Aiden had just gotten out of his funk, but things were looking brighter now. He tilted his head and looked at her as she claimed to be a 'wreck.' "A wreck, huh? Care to explain?" Because he wasn't quite following. The last time he spoke to Sadie was at the Owlery. And before that she'd expressed some boy troubles..

He shoved his hands into his pockets and waited for an answer.

Frown. She didn't want to share her life problems anymore than she had to but for some reason she felt some sort of connection with Aiden and she could tell him anything. "I found out I've been living in a lie most of my life. Why does life have to be so unfair right now?" UGH! She was so angry with herself and her parent's. She let out a sigh and crossed her legs. Sadie was mad at Fletcher all over again too because he had been off too busy to even think about her probably. With those damn Durmstrang girls and him being all Triwizard-ish.

Living a lie? That sounded pretty intense. In fact, at the moment, Sadie was sounding like she needed to just vent a bit, and Aiden had no qualms with listening to what was up. He wasn't the best at being comforting, but he had his moments. "Life tends to be unfair at the worst times, it seems," he commented with a shrug. He brushed away the snow beside her and sat down. "So.. how come you're living a lie, then?" He lifted an eyebrow and looked at her.

What he said was true but ever since she had stepped foot in England that's all life was being. UNFAIR! If she wouldn't have come she wouldn't have had to meet any of the boys she did or learn any of the secrets she learned. She looked over at him as he took a seat beside her where the snow once lay. She carefully considered this before saying, "It turns out I'm adopted. I'm not Sadie Perdieu. In fact I don't even know what my real last name is. My parent's found me on their doorstep as a little 1 year old."

Grinning, Nikolai was grinning.

It was obvious she did not notice the light coming into the alley from the main street. He watched her as she looked around, knowing full well she was thinking up some type of excuse for her being 'lost'. He himself always had an excuse at hand, like during the first task. The Venomous Tentacula attacked him from behind. An excuse, because that was not what happened at all. Half expecting her to come up with something good, he was mildly surprised when she just decided to ignore the question all together.

He didn't really care why she was lost. All that mattered now was he had found her. Perhaps she was not lost at all.. hmm.

Grin turning into a smirk, it was Nikolai's turn to look around the alleyway. Indeed, they were quite alone, but what he had found out about the people of Hogwarts, he knew news traveled quite quickly. Someone was bound to find out. He turned back to face her, noticing she looked a little cold. He could warm her up. "Names? They are not necessary." he answered. They could get to names later.

Besides, he was one of the Champions. She should know him already.

Pause. Long pause.

An eyebrow raised as he waited, wondering what he was waiting for exactly. But then she held out her hand, and Nik did not hesitate to take it in his own. After pressing it lightly against his lips, in a gentlemanly way, he slowly lowered it back down. "Nikolai Ognian, Durmstrang seventh year. It is very nice to meet you."

Even if they were in an alleyway.

Whoa. Whoa, whoa, WHOAA. She only found out she was adopted, now?

"Yeah.. that's definitely intense all right," he added with lifted eyebrows. His sifted his fingers through his hair and noisily released a breath of air before dropping his hand to his lap again. "So.. are you going to try to figure out who your real parents are? Or.. what's gonna happen with your current family?" He expected that she wouldn't want to just up and leave them when they had taken care of her all these years, but he asked anyhow.

Intense? Heck yes it was. He had no understanding of how it really felt to find this out since he hadn't been adopted. She just looked at him and saw his breath as he let out a sigh in the freezing air. She thought about his question before answering with, "I found out who my real mom is already from my half brother. She died around a year ago I think. My dad....well my brother thinks he know who the guy is..." she paused for a second. "He's able to find out records of people because his job has to do with it or something."

She knew the man's name and wasn't sure if he was alive or dead. It wasn't mentioned. Sadie didn't even know where he was as they talked. "I haven't had any sort of communication with my parent's for months," she explained, looking down at her hands and back up at him.

Holy moly, this was like... soap opera worthy. Poor Sadie, though. Aiden tried to imagine how he'd feel if he suddenly found out Madison and his mum weren't actually blood-related to him... he didn't even like to think about it. Fortunately they each had a few visible traits in common. "Wow, I'm sorry, Sadie.." And to find out that she couldn't even contact her real mum because she was deceased, too. "Are you going to contact your biological dad, then?"

He frowned a bit when he heard that she hadn't spoken to the family she previously thought was her own. "Oh.. are you mad at them because they didn't tell you all this?"

The girl just gave a noncommittal shrug as he apologized. "From what I hear she wasn't exactly the best woman in the world. But thanks," Sadie smiled slightly. More like had a really hard life and got lung cancer after smoking since she was a teenager. There had to be some kind of wizarding blood in her...or maybe it was her dad? Her biological father?

Evan didn't say he was psycho so that was obviously a good thing. "I'm not sure. I mean all I know about him is that his name is Daniel Chevalier," she explained to him with a sort of frown. The name didn't sounds familiar. Was she mad? YES SHE WAS MAD! "I'm irritated they couldn't have broke the news sooner. It just makes me hurt because they couldn't be truthful about this. I mean I'm almost an adult."

Aiden mimicked her shrug and let his hands drape over his knees. "Well... I don't know. At least you can be grateful that you had a decent family to raise you." Even if they did keep this whole thing from her up until now.

Blink..

"That's my dad's name," he remarked, kind of weirded out. He shook his head. "My last name is Chevalier.." He added, not sure whether she knew or not. Daniel Chevalier.. that was straaaange. "But I'm sure there are a ton of Daniel Chevaliers around the world. It must just mean that they're all complete gits." Yes, that's it.

He nodded to her justification. "Definitely. I'd be ticked off, too." Heh. Oh hey, Aiden. We're not your real family. Kaybai. "But.. I mean, they probably didn't tell you because they want you to view them as family, even though you're not blood-related." Or something like that. It sounded logical.

He was right about that. At least she did have a decent family. She had blended in so well with them too. It was so odd how much she looked like her fake mom. No one would be able to tell the difference. But looking at her half brother they looked similar too. "I guess you're right. It could have been worse."

As Aiden said that her real dad's name was his dad's name she frowned more. "That is really weird," she said slowly. It was all coincidence though right? She wasn't actually related to the boy in front of her was she? "I also know that he disappeared for a while." She was so thankful that Evan had all this information. Or else she would be so helpless trying to find this out by herself.

"I could never tell seeing as dad is a wizard and mom and I look almost identical," she told him, looking over head as a shower of snow fell down upon them. It sounded like people were on the roof of the store they were leaning against. Sadie squealed as the snow fell on her and jumped up brushing it off herself.

"Yeah.. definitely weird." Both of their dads having the same exact name. Yeahhh. It was just a coincidence, of course. Surely, they would've known by now if they were related. Still, he had this nagging feeling in the back of his mind that made him ask his next question. "Do you happen to have any pictures of him on your iPod or anything?" You know.. just to be safe.

"That makes sense." Aiden really didn't know how he'd feel if he were in her position right now. Must be a pretty confusing, and stressful, time for Sadie. The seventh year suddenly felt a pile of cold snow land directly on him and his back shot up straight from the coolness against his neck. "Ah, what the hell.." He leaned forward and shook the snow from his head and shoulders before throwing an accusing look towards the roof above them.

Alex walked up the back alley looking around him once with a small smirk. Oh why was he feeling so mischevious? He wished one of his friends were here so he could mess with someone, with their help or not. Hehe.

Sheridan bobbed down the main street of Hogsmeede, bopping to her ipod slightly, and nodding her head, she was about to go into the shops when she noticed someone...oooh Alex. She grinned and pulled out one of her headphone, Alex my mannn she grinned laughing as she made her way over to him. She noted the mischievous smile and raised her eyebrows. This could only mean one thing. The cape would come out

Alex spun around when he heard Sheridan and grinned widely. "Oh hello there my fellow crusader." he chuckled.

Yes! Exactly the person he wanted to meet, his crusader Huffie friend. "What's up?" he grinned.

Sheridan grinned, is it cape time? She asked, wiggling her eyebrows in her evil genius way. If she was an evil genius. Which she was. MWAHHAHA. And they called her an innocent Puff, pfft, not much, not much, there tis nothing to do here. She shrugged, she would of gone to London but her parents had forced her to come on the pretence of "Christmas shopping", AS IF it was the middle of August. It was just so they could get her to do family stuff. *eye roll* I'm assuming you are planning something, due to the fact you are in one of the dingy-ist places in the whole of Hogsmede. Not as bad as Knockturn Alley though *shudder*
