She giggled at Mina. Ah. Her friend was SO grown up now. She wondered if she'd be that way once she was done with Hogwarts. Grown up and smart. Just like Mina!
She nodded at Mina's words of encouragement. Instantly she didn't feel quite so overwhelmed. The professors weren't scary. And the headmaster was a hottie. She giggled at that. When Mina was done she beamed. "I promise to do all those things." she said with a nod. "And I will write about all my adventures."
Mina smiled as she let her mind go back to her very first time on the platform and how she had felt that day. It was a bit overwhelming but exciting at the same time. There was something truly magical about moments like that and she was so happy to be there for her younger friend. She had always felt that there was something special about Anya and now it was time for her to shine; to how the world just how special she was.
Looking about at Anya, she giggled as well. She could see a lot of herself in her and that made her heart swell so much. She really was the little sister that she wished she had. It wasn't like she didn't love Victorie or Noemi, she did adore her baby twin sisters; but Anya was the kind of little sister that she could have related with better.
Glancing back up toward where Anya must have come from, she caught sight of Carter and began to wave, but stopped for moment when she noticed just who was around him and opted for just a nod. She would just say hello to him another time when he was alone and all.
Turning her attention back to Anya, she smiled and nodded. "Just have fun for me and be nice to the whomping willow. It has feelings too you know." She was rather fond of the tree and it scared her at first but she did grow to understand it during her time there. "I so expect to be getting owls about everything. I can't wait to get my first owl about your fun at Hogwarts." Anya would probably be the only one to owl her since no one seemed to like to owl her anyway and now at least she had something to look forward to.
Elliot wasn't really listening to Presley as she said the stuff about her brother...she was thinking about what life would be like if she had an older brother...how weird. She didn't think she would like it very much. She enjoyed being the eldest Morganzo.
She did give a start as Presley said something else. Gosh, did she EVER stop talking??
"Uhh, yeah. Never talked to her before" and Elliot would be happy if she never did. The Luna girl seemed too nice for Elliot. Yuck. "Yeah and I haven't seen her..." And Elliot was all in favor of ditching Presley for the train ride. She kind of wanted to be alone...she wouldn't say this out loud, however....maybe she would see Caelius or Jayden on the train...she felt she could tell Caelius anything...Jayden, well, eh.
"Well, I'd better go find her so we can get good seats on the train. It was nice to see you Elliot." Presley was trying to get away from the distracted girl as nicely as possible. After all, she had just given Presley a beautiful present. But she could tell that Elliot wanted to find other people, and Presley really needed to find her best friend. There was so much to tell her! Presley ducked her head in the slightest bow, appropriate for peers of the same social status, and turned to lug her trunks to the other end of the platform. "I suppose I'll be seeing you!"

"Why do people like you always have to be so rude or mean to others? I never did anything to you."
Edric had to glance up from his book as little Adeline went off on him.
"Are you calling me an attention hog?" he asked, looking unaffected. If anything, he seemed rather amused. The only time Edric liked having people around was when he was ticking them off. It was rewarding. "I'm not rude or mean. I'm just me," he explained with a shrug. "What am I supposed to do? Offer you my candy and lend you my book?" Sheesh. Seriously, what did people expect of him to be considered 'nice'? In his opinion, they asked for too much.
"If what you wanted was candy, then all you had to do was ask," he said, rummaging through his coat until he pulled out a few bags of sour gummy worms and sour-sweet gummy bears. As a half-blood, he preferred muggle candy. Magical candy always surprised him with the most disgusting tastes, so he learned not to trust it.
Surely what the girl wanted was candy, right? After all, she was like… what, six? Seven? Candy's what all children want, isn't it?

"And what if I am calling you out?" she asked him. "What are you gonna do about it? Call my mother?" she asked him. "Why would I want candy. I'm not four. I'm eleven." Geez this boy was not a people person. How did he expect to make any friends? "Why would I want that stupid book." she told him. "You really need to stop being such a grouch." she told him. "You should be lucky that you're alive."
"I don't want your candy."

What? Calling him out on what? Edric merely blinked at the girl, confused.
He thought she was done, and shrugged, opening a bag of candy and turning it over in his mouth, filling it up with gummy bears. But the girl kept talking, correcting him on her age (eleven, four, what's the difference?), insulting his book ("Hey, that's a classic!"), and giving him life advice.
To be brief, Edric was shocked.
He hadn't expected the little eleven year old to blow up the way she did. However, he was amused, and he felt no remorse. See? Thanks to HIM, she was learning to stand up for herself. Though he still didn't understand how he was even being mean in the first place. Oh well.
"Lucky I'm alive?" he repeated, raising both eyebrows. What?! "Are you saying there's been someone following me and trying to murder me all this time?" he asked, looking around with a hint of panic on his expression. Edric was all about paranoia and conspiracies, so he totally took this seriously. He turned back to the girl as she denied his candy.
"Yeah you do… you're a kid, all kids want candy," he said matter-of-factly. "Just take it, jeez. I didn't poison it," he added, gently tossing a bag of sour gummy worms at the girl in hopes that she'd catch it. If she didn't… then hey, more candy for him.
Minerva blushed a bit. "Sorry, if we are being to couplish just let us know. Sometimes we forget." She could see Prudence looking at them weird.

Adeline saw his face turn to all seriousness. She wondered what she had said to make him think again. Then there it was the whole fact that someone was following him. Then it her! She could use this to make him take her seriously. "Yes you should count the days that you're alive and be thankful for every single moment that you have had on this planet." she told him. This was going to be great! "Yes someone is following you and I'm getting more details on it." she said.
Adeline caught the candy, took out a piece, tossed the bag to him and started eating the piece of candy. "Not the greatest candy but it's alright. I wasn't raised on candy so I don't have a craving for it."

Edric listened with furrowed brows as Adeline warned him about someone supposedly following him, and how he should be grateful for every moment he spent alive.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!
Was she serious?!
He couldn't tell.
Most wouldn't fall for this, especially coming from an eleven-year-old, but Adeline had lucked out trying a trick like this on a loon like Edric. He'd never done a thing wrong in his life, yet he was always the first to get jumpy when the authorities were nearby. It was an odd form of paranoia.
"Getting more details on it?" he repeated, ignoring the bag of candy the little girl had just tossed back at him. "How? Are you involved in this mess?" - OH MY GOSH, he just figured it out! - "You're a messenger, aren't you!? A spy for the killer?!" ADELINE WAS A SECRET AGENT WORKING FOR ENEMY FORCES TRYING TO KILL HIM. !

She tried hard not to laugh and did it very well. Years of practice. "Yes more details. Did I stutter?" she asked sternly. "You're right." she told him in a saddened tone. "I am a spy but not for the enemy. I'm a spy trying to save your life and I still need more details." she told him in a monotone voice. She took another bite of the candy. "I don't mean to do no harm to you."

Edric looked positively shocked by this new discovery. Who would've thought someone was out there chasing him and trying to kill him?! He thought he was a perfectly likable guy… wasn't he?
As Adeline explained she was actually trying to save his life, the boy raised an eyebrow. "And how do I know you're not lying?" he asked. "And who's trying to kill me, anyways? I don't remember killing anyone's dog or anything…" muttered the boy. 'Cause seriously, why would anyone want to kill him? The boy still thought this was all really happening, but he was completely puzzled by the enemy's intentions.
All he knew for sure was that he was simply too young to die!

Adeline couldn't do this anymore. She felt bad.
Adeline just burst out laughing. "No one is going after you! You're not gonna die and I'm not a spy. Although that would be cool if I was at a spy." She told Edric. "Don't be rude to be again or I'll make you think that someone really is following you." That would teach him a lesson if he ever messed with her! She didn't like to be spoke to rudely she got enough of that at her muggle school she didn't want it to happen again.
Adeline has to learn to not let people push her around like a piece of meant.

As Adeline suddenly burst out laughing, Edric's brows furrowed deeply.
And just what was so funny?! These were serious matters they were discussing! For Merlin's sake, they were talking about his LIFE here! Why on earth would she laugh about this?!?!?!?!
And then Adeline confessed.
No one was after him. He wasn't going to die. And she wasn't a spy.
Edric stared at Adeline blankly for a good, solid 15 seconds before his jaw pretty much dropped to the floor.
SE. RIOUS. LY!?
He just got trolled by an eleven-year-old?! REALLY?! SERIOUSLY?! Of COURSE something like this would happen to me… of course, thought the little curmudgeon, who always thought the world was out to get him.
"Very funny, kid," muttered Edric, who didn't seem amused. She'd nearly given him a heart attack! And even though she had confessed now, you just knew Edric would be looking over his shoulder through the rest of the ride to Hogwarts.

"Oh man you should have seen the look on your face when I told you I was just messing with you."
Adeline tried her best to stop laughing but it wouldn't work. She let some deep breaths in and then out slowly and she started to control her laughing.

Edric could not believe his eyes.
Here she was, a mere eleven-year-old thing, laughing herself to the point of tears - AT HIM! At him! Like he was just this hilarious clown existing just for her entertainment.
Why did no one ever take him seriously?! ;______; It wasn't the first time someone pulled a prank on the poor paranoid boy.
"Oh, ha-ha, I'm sure it was hilarious," said Edric as Adeline commented on his shocked face. Picking up the bag of candy she'd tossed at him earlier, the boy took a gummy worm and threw it at her, leaning back against his trunk more casually as he continued sitting on the floor. "Enjoy it while you can, little one, because, trust me… I won't fall for it again," he said, making a mental note to remember this promise. 'Cause sadly, gullible as he was, Edric would most likely fall for it all over again in just a few weeks, after his mind sort of forgot the incident.

"If only I had a camera." she told him. LITTLE ONE?! Did he really just call her that? "I'm not little I'm eleven." she reminded him again. "You need to get it right. You were eleven once so shut it!" she told him. "An what if it really did happen and you didn't believe me?" she asked him as she threw the candy at his face. Adeline stuck her tongue out at him.

"Well good thing you don't," muttered Edric as Adeline mourned not having a camera to photograph his expression.
It was NOT that funny, okay?! The boy couldn't believe he was seriously being mocked like this by a little girl. Seriously. Where had the respect for elders gone? Was his face really that humorous?!
Edric rolled his brown eyes at the girl's complaints about him calling her little. "Yeah, I was eleven once… four years ago!" he said, unaware of how young he himself sounded. 'Cause seriously… arguing with an eleven-year-old? That didn't say much about his maturity level.
"It wouldn't really happen 'cause no one would ever want to kill me of all people," said Edric matter-of-factly. "Everybody loves me!"
… Even he knew the ridiculousness of that last statement.

Edric rolled his eyes and gave Adeline a look. Conceited, huh? He wasn't conceited - he was stating the truth! Pfffffft. EVERYONE loved him. His mum, his dad, his brother… his mum, his dad… his brother… his mu…
Okay, maybe not everyone, but at least the people that had no choice but to live with him certainly loved him.
"Fine. The fact remains - I'm not falling for any more pranks from you," said the boy. "Actually, the only reason I fell for your last prank was just to amuse you. 'Cause I'm not really such a bad guy, see?" he explained.
"Aye...very excited," Gideon said in agreement. And prepared? Well that was more his mum making sure everything was there, he couldn't be certain if Kacie even cared if she had everything. If she didn't, she'd just try and borrow his. Thank goodness girls couldn't get to the boy's dorms and vice versa.
That was if she even got Gryffindor.
Wait did he honest think that? Kacie not be Gryffindor when she could be just like mum at times as well as the rest of their maternal relatives all from the house of the lion? Preposterous! The boy couldn't help but groan at the use of Kacie's nickname coming out of his girlfriend's lips. "Ugg...not ye too. I almost prefer Gertie over Giddy," he remarked with a shake of his head.
It was official, Selina and Kacie were going to pair up and make his life unbearable. He just knew it. Maybe he could pair up with Christopher to complain about younger sisters. Nah that wouldn't work...Elyon was quiet....too quiet at times. He'd just need another way of escaping or working against whatever plans they could come up with.
Hearing the cleared throat he reacted, nearly bumping into either of their carts but catching himself. Gideon turned to see Selina's father standing there and once more unsure how to react. "Good day Mr. Skylar," he finally greeted.
She rose her eyebrow at him amused when he agreed with her. It did not take a genius to infer from his sentence that Kacie was no doubt being over zealous with her preparation for the up and coming term. The girl was sweet and Selina liked her. When Selina was a first year she too was equally as excited to get to school. She must have asked a million and one questions. In fact, she distinctly remembered at the opening feast attacking Simon Bennett with questions about the Quidditch Try Outs. That was before she even knew who Simon Bennett was, before that name even mattered to her.
When Gideon groaned at the nickname that was made infamous by his younger Selina could not help but do an internal victory dance. He had to know deep down that if he stopped reacting to all of her nicknames she would stop calling him the nicknames. Half the fun was just to see his face. Yet, he continued to groan at the nicknames so she would continue to call him them, "Well I am partial to Gertie. Maybe I can just let Kacie take care of the Giddy." Besides she could tell that the nickname was sort of special between the two siblings whether he did not know it or not. So she would not say it. That was Kacie's job.
Selina heard someone clear their throat and she snapped her head to the side to see her father standing their with an interesting look on his face. Gideon said hello to her father and she smiled at him although she was confused as to why her father was there, "Hi Daddy... what are you doing here... right now?"
Jake Skylar watched the boy nearly fall over the carts but catch himself. Well, alright maybe he did have some level of coordination. So he could buy into the whole Quidditch player thing and to be honest that did gain him some brownie points on Jake's end, but not enough to be happy with the fact that he was dating his daughter. If he had his way Selina would never even look at another boy again that way. She had always been so rough and tough so he had forgotten that Selina was still going to do all of the normal "girly" things like date. Although he supposed dating was an everyone type of thing. Eh details.
He slowly drifted his gaze toward his daughter and said shortly, "Your Mum is looking for you..."
Caroline smiled. She was glad that they had made up and were moving on together. This made her summer.
Caroline laughed. For a joke coming from Carter that was pretty good. She smirked back. She loved her team. "I hope your teams healer is as good as me." Oh yeah because there was about to be a storm in Puddlemere with a chance of some tornadoes. She continued to act as if her cousin wasn't there. She still had nothing to say to her and it would be best if she didn't speak to her.
What? He wanted to talk to her dad? Why? She still didn't want to move out of the house she was in now with her family. She hoped that wasn't what that was about.
Wait, he just couldn't leave her with Carter and Marilyn. She sighed silently and nodded to him. She watched as he walked over to her father and they walked farther down the platform together. It was better than looking at her being stared at. Why did she have to be here anyway.
Marshall nodded. "Yes, I'll be there. I've been to all of Tutshills matches this season. As well as the Sunrays." He was a quidditch fanfactic. That was some thing he missed when he lived in Italy no quidditch. So when he got the chance to work with the sunrays as their marketing manager he jumped at it.
"Asher told me how much he loved the tour he got of the locker room." In fact he talked about it all the time. He chuckled at Carters comment, "Oh I've seen how the brits do quidditch. It's easy to see why the Italians haven't caught out to it yet." But it would be his dream to own the first Italian quidditch team.
Marshall gave Jasper a confused look. But he had a feeling he knew what this was about. He'd been expecting it for a while now. He turned back to Carter. "I'd love to come down and see the locker rooms. And good luck to you the rest of the season. ." He nodded.
"We'll be back shortly." He told everyone. He walked along side of Jasper and stopped when he was out of earshot from the others. He turned and gave him a hard look. "Alright Mr. Somerhalder, we both know what you want."

Marshall nodded "It's alright. So Your daugher starting Hogwarts this term." He asked the woman with a small smile.
He blinked.
Asher smiled. "Hello there Holiday." Yes he was going to call her Holiday or maybe Holie. Hehe. Just like he was going to call Alec Al. And to think. He thought that him and Alec were going to be bros. Well that didn't look like that was going to happen. Not now. Alec was already pushing Anya aside for his other friends.
Asher chuckled when Anya tried to remember what he had gotten her over the summer. "A pygmy puff. Did you finally decide on a name for yours?" Because he didn't have one for his yet. He was terrible at naming pets. and it would be cool if the pygmy puffs names matched or something.
Asher returned the smirk. "We should. And we can start on the train. Plus I have tons of games we can play on the train too." He walked over to her and pulled out and stack of Chocolate frog cards. and Placed his arm around her shoulder. Yeah he could cling to his partner in crime and his Anya too.

Elliot nodded her head, trying to smirk at the girl. She was ready to get to the train, curl up, and read a good book. Or just stare out the window and be all...emotional-NO. Elliot would NOT let it get it to her. She was stronger than this! She was ELLIOT MORGANZO. Ugh.
And as she stepped onto the train, she let her face return to its cool facade.

Harvey smiled at what she said.. ooh! so she HAD thought about someone.. he wondered if she had someone in mind. "Well we kind.. of dont like to be all coupley in front of friends... I feel its just rude.. to do that when your friends want to hang out with you.. they might feel like the third wheel.. i already know of one friend that did.. but we hadnt seen much of her all year.." Harvey said smiling .. Prudence was a nice girl.. he wondered why she hadnt caught anyone's eye yet..
Prue nodded. "It's quite considerate the way you two think of it really, but I reckon it's fine really. I mean I guess I see the same with the way I act around Abby when we're with other friends. I've known her literally since the moment I was born so its just... I can look at her and with one look tell everything, so in a different way I reckon it's sort of like that in a way because you two know each other well... plus its those moments that bring you into reality I guess so its like unspoken communication..." she couldn't truly explain how she thought of it but she hoped they caught her drift... though comparing twins to a relationship may not have been the best way of putting it.
Grinning sheepishly, she hoped for the best as she ran her fingers through her hair.

After about five minutes contemplating the leap from the platform to the train, Caelyn had finally made it and instinctively went to the back of the train. She hated trains. From the terror of the small gap between the entrance and the stone floor of the station, to the actual speed of the things. Unnatural, in her opinion.
Most of the compartments were already occupied and she was much too unstable to enter one and introduce herself to others. It wasn't until she reached the very back that she found an empty one.
Sitting against the window, Caelyn crossed her legs on the seat and gazed outside.
...
Despite it making her feel rather ill...

LuLu pushed her trolley on, looking around for Pres or... well somone to talk to! She saw a girl that looked about her age and pushed her trolley the other way ''Emm.. Hi, I was wondering if yo-....'' she trailed off suddenly spotting her grandparents and ignored them they didn't know she was there... yet
''Sorry never mind,'' she smilied and nodded awkwardly she didn't belive she'd seen the girl before... maybe in classes? But she tended to focus more on the lesson than the people who were there
