Front of the train getting full? No worries, plenty of room in the back cars. Mind your step and take small children by the hand. Kiss your Ma and your Pa, get the last jab in at your younger siblings, but don't dally!
The Hogwarts Express will be pulling out soon, headed to Hogwarts for another magical year. You may RP your character boarding the train here, saying their goodbyes, and meeting new Hogwarts students.
Despite herself, Thea laughed at Stares. What a weird bird.. Stretching out a leg, she aimed a kick at Leo, as he walked past with a friend of his.
'Being nice I hope, little sister?..' He called as he walked past with his friend. He nodded at a girl he recognised from his year and winked at Thea.
The Gryffindor scowled and stuck her tounge out at her brother. 'Idiot...' she muttered, watching him go. Turning to Joanna, her eyes widened slightly, suprised at the question. 'Umm..' Thea squirmed. Joanna looked like a total 'boffiny type'. Thea wasn't really into books that much as she found it hard to recognise. Her Mother often pointed out how similar her and her brothers were to each other, even though they all often denied being related.. 'Not a lot..' She finally replied, 'But I do read sometimes?..' Thea trailed off lamely. 'You do, I guess?' The lion smiled.
Ignoring the fact that Thea was laughing at her pet (Joanna also does that sometimes) she was more interested from the boy that walked by them, apparently the Gryffindor's brother. "Annoying brother?" Joanna asked giving an 'I know how you feel' expression. She didn't only have one annoying brother but two. And a mean-spirited devious cousin, which lives in London and she has been living with him since she arrived.
Just like Joanna thought, Thea wasn't a big fan of books. Shame. "Yeah," the Ravenclaw chuckled, "I'm a huge bookworm. If I could I would only read, eat candy and sleep my whole life." Of course she loves meeting friends, and studying too, but everyone loves meeting friends.

QUOTE=FireboltAvis88;10832483]Claudia turned when she heard Minerva ask her to join them. She smiled and joined her and Harvey on the bench. "Are you sure I'm not intruding? Well actually I was looking forward to coming to Hogwarts, but for some reason I now realize why Lyssie didn't want to come back. You guys are such great friends but somehow I don't think I'll fit in here too. I was studying in the School of Witchcraft in Salem, Massachsetts and like Lyssie, I had no problems making friends there. But for some reason, I'm having problems doing the same here. Maybe it's because I'm not from here. Maybe it's because I'm coming to Hogwarts in my 3rd Year and everybody already has their group of friends. I'm thinking that I should just turn around and get back on the plane and head back home." Claudia sighed. Maybe she and Lyssie were more alike than she thought.[/QUOTE]

He was an Auror for starters and then Louisa never really met a magical parent before. She wanted to see how they looked like and how they acted. She was this curious.
"Yeah, I hope so too." Concerning Joao's trusting her. Moving on to Adam's grandpa was a relief for the girl, now though. She didn't really find a solid ground to discuss Joao's relationship with her and how deep it was. The only thing Louisa was sure of was that she liked him a lot and would endure his silliness untrustworthy issues to the end. Well, unless he did something wildly wrong or bad. She'd get to that later.
"I told you, you were incredibly mature dealing with all that stuff pretty much on your own." She smiled at him, "It's relieving that you got to know your grandfather is an understanding wizard." He deserved it. His owls were pretty good too! Louisa chuckled, "Yeah, I'm really stressed out because of OWLs this year myself." She looked down at her fingernails. She'd developed a new nervous habit, too. Biting the glorious polished and painted fingernails. How classy.
Adam had to admit he was slightly taken aback when Louisa pulled him into another hug. "You are that good Louisa. You just don't like to admit it," Adam said with a warm smile once Louisa had released him. She was blushing slightly and Adam couldn't help but chuckle softly. "Plus, I think you give me a little too much credit. I don't think I would have been able to survive last year without you around." It was the honest truth, and Adam wasn't afraid to admit it. That was also why there was no way in hell that he was going to let Joao get in the way of their friendship under any circumstances. "And I'm sure my grandpa would love it if you came by over the holiday break or something," Adam said with a little smirk.
Adam gave a little shrug when Louisa complimented how he'd handled things on his own. "Kids are resilient," Adam said with a little smile. "And it is really great having my grandpa in my life. It's nice being able to talk to him about things that I wasn't really able to talk to people about until I met you and Paulie at Hogwarts. He's kind of...well...put some things into perspective," Adam said with a little nod. Some stuff about his father that Adam had never known. When Louisa commented about her taking the OWLs this term, and following her eyes to her unusually short nails, Adam gave her an empathetic smile. "I am here to help you with anything you need," Adam said with a positive smile. "I have no doubts that you'll do greatly on them though." Louisa was a Ravenclaw for a reason after all.

There are things I might do, that Lyssie would cringe and say Oh Cody you're going to get grounded again." Claudia laughed mimicking her twin.
Looking at these people sitting next to her, Claudia was beginning to get back her self confidence. She knew that she had to 'behave' herself while she was in Hogwarts, but at the same time wondered whether she could use her computer there. Oh well. He was used to loneliness.
Pulling at his small luggage, he looked for somewhere convenient to sit and wait for the train. This summer had been quite tiring, and it could easily be read on his face.

Where was that? Why on Earth, for anything that she could dropped, it still need to be her toothbrush? She was very sure, she put it in her bag, specifically the back pocket. Or else, someone stole it? A stalker? Erin Cornelia Heyman's got a stalker? Pffft!
Walking here and there, looking for her most precious toothbrush, a moving toothbrush mind you. Her sister Kristina's a little jealous about it. Erin would give her one, but then, she made her upset, so she'll never give anything for her sister, not even a favor.
BUMP!
"Oh!" said Erin squinting a little bit, she was embarrassed whoever that may be.
Ellie left her daddy on the other side of the barrier. It was just easiest that way. And though Ellie was unaware, Jason Stone didn't want to be on the Platform...just in case. So there Ellie was alone. Not that it mattered much to the Sixth year.
What did matter was that she was early and terribly bored. She made her way to where the back of the train would be, where she could drop off her luggage, and sat on her trunk. Sat in the woe of alone-ness, debating whether she should bother taking her Quidditch stuff out to work on.

... Not that Alec minded, of course.
"Anya Phillips in a skirt and heels for long hours of the day," Alec said, "I never thought i'd see the day." He was going to push aside the fact that he's already seen her in a skirt and heels. What? Anya looked nice in them! Even though he, Alec, wasn't too familiar with fashion and those girly things girls talked about.
Alec blinked. Anya was sad one minute and now she was... bouncing? Like a bunny rabbit? She was feeling okay wasn't she? He grinned. She wasn't sad anymore so... YAY! Erm... Quidwhatnow? "Erm... what's Quidditch?" he asked, slightly confused at this new word, "And what does brooms have to do with it?" It wasn't a cleaning game was it?
Alec watched the twirling motion with a slightly confused expression on his face. Anya Phillips NEVER twirls her hair. Or... she doesn't usually. No matter what she said, there was definitely something wrong. "Good. You get to spend the next year flying kites with me," he said, "Lucky you!" Would that make her feel better?

Wait? Was that Alec Summers?
"Alec? You know Anya too?" It seem like they knew each other a little more than he thought. He'd spent a lot of time with Alec and Anya and either one of them had mentioned the others.
"And he is absolutely amazing at it too!" Asher added when Anya talked about what Carter did.
Well now who was this other young lady with Alec. He smiled at her.
Anya nodded. "Yup." she said with a smile. "Happens to be the same school my big brother went to." She was sure that Alec remembered all the times Carter was off at "boarding school". And once she got her letter, she made her brother tell her everything about the school. Oh! She and Alec had soooo much to talk about now!
She rolled her eyes and playfully smacked his arm. "Shut up you. You know I'm going to hate it. No need to rub it in." She was much more comfortable in shorts and a nice pair of tennis shoes. But comfort was worth sacrificing to learn magic.
She was going to be a witch!
A WITCH!
What? Alec didn't know about quidditch?!
Oh... wait... that was true, huh? He wouldn't know. Just like she didn't know before last summer. "It's a sport. Played up in the air." she said enthusiastically. "It sounds and looks a little bit scary... but it is super fun to watch." Oh! And next year they could go see Carter together! This was absolutely brilliant!
She chuckled at Asher's comment. "Yeah. I think he is good too." she said proudly. Not that she knew otherwise. She'd only ever been to his matches.
She then giggled at Alec. "I guess I was right, huh? When I told you that you could never get rid of me." Even if he got new friends. She'd still be his number one.

Her questions were answered shortly. When she noticed someone jumping up and down when she seen Asher. It was Anya, Carter's little sister. Caroline couldn't help but to smile.
She caught up with Asher and the group he was with. She put her arm around her little brother and nodded when Carter spoke to her. "You too!" She smiled. Was there something on her face or something because Marilyn's glare was annoying her. Seriously her cousin needed to get a life. It would be best if she simply said nothing to her.
She was surprised by a sudden kiss on the check. Jasper? It was Jasper. Her smile widen. "Jasper!" She hugged him and gave him a kiss. She caught a bit of Carter with his arm around that thing. But before had time to think about it. she caught sight of another Gryffindor a prefect.
"KUMRUMI!" Caroline ran over to her and hugged Kurumi. It was sad that she wouldn't get to see Kurumi much anymore.
Marshall chuckled. He loved calling Caroline, Carly in was a good nickname for her. He followed his children around the platform. He was glad that Caroline was able to come along. He and Asher had missed her alot over the summer.
What? His son just dropped all of his belongs in the middle of the busy platform. That boy. He grabbed his sons things and bought them over to his son. "Son, you just can't leave your things in the middle of a busy platform." Eyeing his son. He taught him better than that.
Marshall put out his hand to Carter to shake. "You too, Carter. Puddlemere is doing well this season." He kept up with the other teams to see what Marketing tactics they had.
Then his Daughters boyfriend showed up. He was there. The two of them had something planned the rest of the day. "Hello Jasper." He said after Caroline had let go of the boy.
Carter chuckled overhearing Asher and Anya's conversation. "Nahhh. I'm not that good." he said running a hand through his hair. But it was nice to hear the two of them had a good time at the match.
He then did his best to avoid looking at Jasper and Caroline as Mr. Romalotti addressed him.
"Thank you Sir." he said happily. "How are things on your side of the world?" he asked.

She wasn't going to disappoint her friend after all. Hugging the little girl again, she smiled. "You know how those boys are, but I promise you next summer you'll see him again."
"I will and I'll pass your message along, with the hug and a kiss on the cheek." Hearing the little giggle only made her giggle a bit herself. "Just a little kiss on the cheek, I promise you." She remembered herself at that age and thinking all kisses were icky and giggle worthy.
Giving Anya a soft rub on her back as she hugged her, she nodded. "You know, I always knew you were extra special and it is now your time to shine and show the world what you have." It had been a rough few weeks, but she had faith that all would turn out well. "You're welcome sweetie. I only did what I felt was right." Seriously, she couldn't just turn her back on her friends like that.
"Ah. Traffic." Anya said with an understanding nod. "Seems like today is a popular day to be out and about." Either that or there were tons of magical people trying to all make it to the Hogwarts Express.
Either way... things were relatively busy.
She giggled. "Yes. Boys will be boys. Of course." Boys that played sports were even worse!
"Brilliant." she said happily at Mina's promise to pass along the message. "Be an extra loud fan for me, okay?"
She beamed at the older girl's words of encouragement. "Show the world what I have. I like the sound of that." Of course... she had to figure out what exactly she had to offer the world first. But that would come on its own eventually. She was excited to be able to go off an experience everything that Mina had told her about.

She'd decided against it, getting her Quidditch stuff out. Merlin knows the train'll be there as soon as she got everything sorted and ready to be worked on. Instead, Ellie was just going to people watch. She lifted her eyes from her bag to....
A girl who also had red hair. But that wasn't what made her eyes widen. It was the shouted comment the other ginger made. "I....I'm what?" Fire-headed?
Absently, one of her hands went up to brush the top of her head, making sure no one had incendio'd it while she wasn't looking. But as far as she could tell, her hair was perfectly safe.

Didn't she understand? "Fire... " Laci touched her hair, holding a lock out... They had the same hair. "Red hair. Like fire! You know?" Her face looked puzzled, almost like her freckles mashed together.
"This is where the train comes in right? I'm new. Not new on trains! But new at school. Regular school that is. I've been homeschooled." Ramble ramble ramble. And at a fast rate too. Hopefully the girl caught it all.

Red hair. Like fire.
Ellie's hand dropped from the top of her scalp, to the ends of her hair, lifting up her own lock. She gave it a glance, as if pondering what the girl had said. But, really, the Sixth year hadn't seen fire the color of her hair. Her hair was like...orangey-red. And fire was like...orangey-yellow. Blue eyes on the girl once more, she shrugged. No, she did not know. But Merlin knew how sane this girl was.
The stranger's outgoing demeanor had the opposite effect on Ellie. She grew silent, simply nodding in response to the question asked. It was a train station, though, after all. It only made sense that this was where the train came.
"What made you come to Hogwarts now, then?" In other words, why couldn't she stay homeschooled? Because she was slightly scary.

Okay. The Hogwarts train would come HERE. The trains SHE took. Well, say they were slightly different. Oh, easy enough question. "My mother and father ended up taking time out of their acts to teach me as I got older, putting their career and then the whole circus in jepoardy. So I was sent to school, so they can keep performing... " duh

Ellie tried not to smirk or smile or laugh. Really, she did. She tried real HARD. But...did she say circus?!
SNORT.
"Your parents are sending you to school so they can be in...a circus?" she managed to say. That was....HILARIOUS. What kind of people were in CIRCUSES?

Harvey listened to Prudence.. "Yeah I understand what you mean.. I am a muggle-born... so that stuff is very common in our house.. it was hard at first not having the technology but then I didnt have much time what with school work, class and hanging out with my friends" he looked at Minnie.. with her time just flew it seemed the time was not enough "you lose track of time.. well that is how I felt anyways" he said to Prudence ... smiling .. he was meeting new people all the time..
Prue nodded to what he said. "I think I spent most of last year staring at my Ipod in class wishing it would start to work... considering I didn't have a lot of friends besides my sister who I hardly see aside from classes and when looking to the other side of the hall during meals to see her reading a random book..." she stated laughing at her self, but not failing to notice the look he shot at Minnie... they were so cute!

Laci wasn't phased by the snort, actually, she barely noticed. She answered in a 'matter of fact' tone. "Why yes, my parent's hold their own star acts." Laci stated with FULL pride. The kind of people who were in circus were the AWESOMETASTIC people. Duh. "They're very successful, I dearly miss my own job but I am excited to try out schooooool." That's a new word... SCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORT.
Ludicrous, this was. It made her think of JACOB because it was CRAZY. And everything crazy was associated with Jacob Blunt.
"What exactly do they do?" Ellie asked.
Wait, her own job? "You worked at the circus, too?" It was still amusing, but now she was also genuinely interested. "What did you do?"
Shrug. "School's boring." Especially compared to a circus.
Even if Ellie was extremely excited about this year.

"Thanks..." she trailed off, grinning as she shifted to lean against one of the seats. Having friends this year would probably make like a lot more... interesting to say the least!

Oh how lovely! the girl seemed interested! "My Father juggles and swallows fire and my mother is a trapeze artist. I never was on the front stage but my job was to train the animals. Teaching them to do tricks and such." Laci ate more peanuts and with her mouth half full she offered some to..... Whatever her name was with a hand gesture. Once she finished chewing and swallowing she grew wide eyed at the girl. "Oh school sounds terrific though!" She sat cross-leggen on the floor in front of whats-her-name and beamed up at her "Tell me what school is like?"

Blink.
"He swallows FIRE?" That sounded...painful. Perhaps. "Does he put that Flame-Freezing Charm on it before, though? Or Glacius on his throat?" Those were the only explanations Ellie could think of that would allow for one to swallow fire. Otherwise they'd be burned, no?
The Sixth year tilted her head, "Trapeze?" 'Circus' was a term Ellie was familiar with. 'Trapeze' not so much.
Oh. "That's cool! What kind of animals?" She didn't get to train animals. She didn't have any. Other than Clio. Her daddy helped her train Clio. But Clio was an owl.
Ellie blinked at the girl's enthusiasm for...school. Shrug. "The school's this big castle. There are teachers and students. Classes and homework. And exams." Like OWLs. Yuck. "What year are you going into, anyway?"
