Front of the train getting full? No worries, plenty of room in the back cars. Mind your step and take small children by the hand. Kiss your Ma and your Pa, get the last jab in at your younger siblings, but don't dally!
The Hogwarts Express will be pulling out soon, headed to Hogwarts for another magical year. You may RP your character boarding the train here, saying their goodbyes, and meeting new Hogwarts students.
Laura looked at Amelia and blushed a bit. "I'm sorry but your taller than me and I'm normal height and there's a lot of taller people here, I just thought it was a Giant's Convension or something like that. " Laura smiled back at Amelia as she talked about someone called Isaac. "Is that the Isaac Newton fellow who was a crazy scientist?" Laura had heard about him before but surely that guy would be old now, like a few hundred years old so surely he should have died unless he was a wizard and then maybe not, Laura had only found out about being a witch but she had read a bit, but at the minute she was scared and wanted Lana.
"Oh your going to Hogwarts then?" Laura looked around, wondering if her mother would be looking for her, she was a bit scared of Amelia now, she was one of them old girls at the school surely. "What house are you in?"
"I'm normal height too. Well actually most people would consider me short. So no. No giant convention, although a lot of these people ARE a lot taller. But you'll find most of them are what could be considered a normal height too," Amelia replied solemnly, even nodding to emphasize her point.
This girl was strange. Very strange.
"Err no. Isaac Newton is like ancient. My Isaac is only 16 and not at all crazy. Or from the times I've met him he hasn't seemed crazy..." Because Amelia was able to say Isaac was her's in this situation. Besides it was unlikely that Isaac and Laura would meet, therefore he probably wouldn't find out she'd been using possessive words when talking about him. And if he did hopefully he wouldn't care.
"I am, and I dunno. I used to go to a school in Wales, this will be my first year at Hogwarts. I'm a bit anxious about that actually," Amelia admitted to Laura in a soft voice. She also gave a gentle smile for added affect, hoping that she wasn't scaring the other girl off.
She paused, looking at Seji for a moment before she burst out laughing. She didn't mean to it simply happened. Attempting to compose herself her put her hand in front of her mouth. "Nup, Abigail-Francesca is my twin... she's in Ravenclaw though so she's probably off with her friends" she said with a nonchalant wave of her hand.
Seji grinned even more than before, if that was possible. "Okay, i don't have any siblings, i have a cousin though but he's at Durmstrang"
Seji grinned even more than before, if that was possible. "Okay, i don't have any siblings, i have a cousin though but he's at Durmstrang"
"That's pretty cool" she said, smiling at him. "Abby and I don't have any cousins, our Uncle never really... wanted to have kids, he also hasn't got a wife or a girlfriend, and mum doesn't have siblings so we probably won't get any but we've got each other... and I'd say that's more than enough at times!" Having someone who could tell what exactly you were feeling, or almost exactly what had happened to you was often overwhelming... if not nerve-wracking!

"Yeah, i always wanted a sister, so i has someone to talk to other than my parents, but i reckon i'll like this, a whole school year without them. Except probably the holidays of course!" Seji said, thinking of how great the year was going to be. He blushed slightly. "Well, i guess it's also good that i have a friend now"

"Sister's aren't what they're made out to be" Prue laughed, smiling at him. "I love Abby, I truly do and I'd do anything for her because she is my older sister, but often enough I'd just love to disown her, or she tries to kick me out a lot of drama happens" it was true, Abby had kicked Prue out before, thankfully that was while her Dad was there... he let her back in... thankfully. But still, she couldn't imagine life without Abby, after all Abby had been there through everything!

Not many people her age fly planes alone, but because the distance from Alaska to England was so long and the flights are so expensive, her parents said that this year she must go alone. Luckily, her cousin (who is mean, sly and sassy) agreed to pick her up from the airport. Even though she and her cousin fight sometimes a lot and Joanna loathes his personality, they frequently get along. This year he actually agreed to take her to muggle mall. It was a miracle. "Well..." the Ravenclaw began saying, "Living in Alaska has its disadvantages, and because the flights are kinda expensive my parents decided that I'm independent enough to fly an airplane alone." Ohhh... The thought that she will need to repeat the flight in another ten months was so depressing.
'Oh ,Alaska?' Thea was mortified. She wouldn't be able to stand the horrible flight journeys too and from her home. Eurgh. She mentally shuddered... 'I wouldn't mind travelling on my own.. I just don't like sitting still for so long..' Thea frowned. She hated it!! Her and her brothers constantly argued as they always ended up in mega hideous moods and if they ended up playing a game of some sort, it usually ended in injuries and tears.

Aurora placed the kneazle carrier on the floor next to the bench and held out a hand to help Professor Roslund up to the bench. "Yeah, it's kinda scary." she said, making sure not to knock the carrier over as she helped him up - didn't want poor Luna being thrown all over the place again. Thinking about OWLs was scary... she was never any good at studying. And revision and dyslexia did not mix well... Anyway, even this year would be full of extra work - she had her grade eight magical music theory coming up at Christmas and she was not looking forward to it.
"I’m sure you’ll do fine dear. Just don’t overwork yourself and remember to take time to be with your friends and enjoy the other perks of school life like quidditch, duelling or gobstones." Edvard reassured and adviced the young snake. Hopefully Aurora was sensible about her studies and not scared. He remembered taking owls and newt’s way back when and he hadn’t been scared just over anxious and worried about failing them. Edvard had though in the end gotten some pretty nice scores.

Hades expected the red hair girl to be a Hogwarts student, but who were these two adults? Her parents? Didn't resemble her at all.
Taking his hat from the boy he said "Thank you for retrieving it for me, Mister?"
When Edvard heard where his hat had been found he winced noticeably since a hat had no place in a dust bin. His brand new hat was now filthy. Eyeing it he sighed and placed it on the bench beside him. He wasn’t in the mood to clean it up just now. One thing was certain his day couldn’t get much worse.

In the DUST BIN? She eyed the boy and then turned to look at the Astronomy Professor.
"Eddie you had better CLEAN that before you put it on." She would not sit with a man wearing a dustbin hat. Simple as that.
Feeling eyes on her, the blonde woman looked at the boy again. HAD HE CLEANED HIS HANDS? OR THAT HAT? "Are you heading to Hogwarts? What is your name?" Because she was sure now that she didn't know this kid.
Edvards eyes brightened just a bit at the sight of the headache potion which Althea seemed to have been carrying in her handbag. Taking it he pulled out the cork and drank the potion in small gulps to not upset his stomach.
Finishing the whole potion he sat in silence for a few minutes. As the potion started to work he beamed at Althea. "Thank you Althea. That potion saved my head and stopped the vertigo I think. I’m glad you carry such potions around with you." Maybe it was something he should take after but no man carried a handbag around, right? So um yes just maybe keep himself near Althea when he had his little clumsy accidents should be good?
Sighing he nodded "I was planning to clean my hat when I’m less dazed Althea. A perfectly good hat can’t be ridden with filth." It was common knowledge. He might be daft in some ways but when it came to wearing clean clothes he was a big pedant.

Edvard started to feel better and as he did so he scanned the platform for his trunk. Seeing it he watched as a girl slapped a boy in the face for some ubnexplained reason and then let the platform. Kids these days he muttered to himself. Staggering slowly to his feet Edvard waited a second to see if the vertigo would kick in once more. Thankfully Althea's potion had done the trick. He went over and retrieved his trunk. Getting back to Althea, Aurora and the still unnamned boy he asked "Should we get on the train? It can't be long before its leave time." Taking his kneazle carrier from Aurora he said "Thanks for resucing Luna. She seems to have calmed down in your steady hand." Fishing up his hat he waited for Althea to board to the train.

Bells didn't expect her family to have stayed for very much longer, infact she was waiting for her mother and sister to just disappear because Ava had to get off to school too. Of course, a goodbye would have been pleasant, but it wasn't necessary. It wasn't like she wouldn't see them ever again. Merely a few months. It was a holiday, was it not? She'd rather of had her father here though. But he had flown off once more the previous night. And how Arabella would miss him, her favourite person in the entire world.
The blonde glanced downward at the bag she was carrying, and frowned slightly as her kitten Princess Diana looked up at her. "Di! Don't look at me like that! I can't carry you, aswell as Roma, aswell as trying to get my trunk about! You try being a human one day, and then you can tell me that you wouldn't have to stick your cat SAFELY into your bag. It's not like there's even anything dangerous in the bag, thank you very much!" The feline had rested her head back along the edge of the bag, and went back to watching other students hustle and bustle about.
Now, to get somewhere that possibly wasn't as crowded?

Nessie smiled as she went through the wall. She had Kamilah and her trunk at her side and she was ready for a new school year. She spotted Maxwell from across the way. He was with a man she didn't recognise. She shrugged it off. She waved at him eagerly. "Hey Maxwell!" She called.
Maxwell said goodbye to his father and turned to see Nessie waving at him. "Hey, was your summer?" Maxwell asked with a friendly smile. "ohh come here you can finally meet Helios." Maxwell said remembering when they'd first met how interested she'd been in meeting his pet.

Aurora turned her head when she heard someone shouting about slytherins... Oh... what on Earth..? Aurora walked up to the older boy, "I'm a Slytherin. There aren't any first year Slytherins yet..." she said, frowning slightly. "Any reason you needed to talk to... us?"
Aaron turned around when he heard some girl talk to him. Ah, good. A Snake. Who was now stating the obvious that there weren't any First year Snakes. 'Yet!' Aaron said wisely.
But he had figured that out himself too. Too late, but STILL.
He frowned, 'oh, just... You knoooow, wondering if your fearless Slytherin lot were scared when you went to Hogwarts the first time.' He nodded, surely there were some scared ones, you know, with older brothers and sisters scaring them.. 'Just curious.' He added in a chirpy voice.

Alyssa quickly turned to head in the opposite direction before he saw her, but she failed to see the trunk that was lying right next to her and she flew over it, and fell right into Aaron. As she bumped into him, something fell out of his jacket pocket and landed right next to her. It was a photo of him holding a girl in his arms. It was a recent photo too judging from his haircut.
Alyssa slowly stood up holding the photo in her hand and looked at Aaron. "Is she the reason you broke up with me? You told me that you weren't ready to be in relationship, and I believed you. In fact, I thought I wasn't good enough for you. But you were lying. You have a new girlfriend. Why couldn't you have told me that? You didn't have to lie," Alyssa was trying not to yell and cry at the same time. She was doing well on the trying not to yell part but failing miserably on the trying not to cry part.
As tears rolled down her cheeks, Alyssa first felt more sadness than she had ever felt since the day Aaron told her he was breaking up with her. Then the sadness turned to anger. "I thought I knew you, but I guess I was wrong. Aaron Roberts, I never want to talk with you again." Alyssa slapped him once across the face and ran away crying.
Out of nowhere, Alyssa flew right into Aaron, causing him to almost fall over. This was bound to be weird, they hadn't really talked that much since they broke up. But they could still be friends, right? He only barely managed to stay up and keep Alyssa from making a faceplant, after which he gave her an awkward smile. 'Heeeeey, Lyssie..' He grinned, but saw her looking at. Oh dear.'So... how's your summer been?' He attempted to distract her and step on the photo, but it was too late.
He stared as Lyssie yelled at him, he deserved this, but that didn't mean he enjoyed being yelled at in front of loads of people.
It was all his fault, it really was. But... Relationships were weeeeird. And stuff. 'She's not my- She's just.. a friend! Really.' Aaron tried, it sort of was true. Except most friends didn't... you know, kiss. 'I thought I'd thrown the photos awaaaay!' That was hardly an excuse, was it? It'd probably only make it worse. He tried flashing her a grin, that worked sometimes.
'Ouch woman!' That hurt. He laid a hand on his cheek and frowned. That wasn't necessary! >____< 'I'M SORRY LYSSIEEE!' He yelled after her, knowing that wouldn't help.
Still covering his cheek he turned to the Slytherin girl, flashing her an awkward grin. '... Wellll... This is awkward.' He said and let out a weird chuckle.

Kurumi had remained silent after Lewis' comment about people. Thing was, she hadn't left anyone behind. Not really anyway. Sure, there had been her father and her mother, but pretty much her absence in the small town of Yuzawa had gone completely unnoticed. Kurumi had never been one to leave people, they had always left her and this pattern seemed to be repeating itself at Hogwarts as well.
Her thoughts had been distracted as Lewis took the initiative and pushed the trolley forward through the barrier. Was he taking her advice about keeping both eyes open? Kurumi had actually sneaked a peek at him just to be sure. She really didn't fancy ramming into a non-magical family or anyone once they got through the barrier.
When the sights and smells of Platform 9 3/4 overpowered her senses again, Kurumi smiled and looked in his direction. "Brilliant," she chirped. "See, that wasn't very difficult at all now was it?" Best of all? They hadn't crashed into anything!
Lewis was pretty proud of himself that he hadn't closed his eyes. He had had them open all through the brief moment of panic when he was absolutely sure they were going to run into the wall. All his senses told him to stop because otherwise he was going to seriously get hurt...along with Kurumi and Vanilla. But they had been too fast and so he didn't even have time to do anything, not even close his eyes.
And then they just went through.
Happily smiling back at Kurumi, Lewis let his green eyes wander around the platform, staring at everything in wonder. They'd actually done it. "And we didn't even run into anybody." He commented with a small smirk at the Prefect next to him, obviously referring to the story she had just told him.
Upon looking back at her, his eyes fell on her Prefect badge again - what was red again? Gryffindor? - and he bit his lip. She probably had some place to be. Was he taking up her time? "Well...uhm...thank you." Lewis said quietly, not really looking at her. "Without you I'd probably still be standing out there, staring at the wall." He chuckled softly before glancing back up at her with a smile.
He was giving her the chance to leave if she wanted or had to. He'd be fine. Or something.

"Kites and ice cream again next summer?" she asked. Maybe more trips to Diagon Alley and to see Evan's matches. She did love seeing a good football match.
Mina smiled letting out a tiny giggle. "Well if you insist, I guess it wouldn't hurt to keep him just for a bit longer." She glanced back at her bestie for a moment and then back to Anya. "We never know when he might come in handy down the road." She did adore him, but she thought back at just how much trouble he was really worth at times as well.
Returning the hug, she put on a happy smile. "You are very welcome sweetie. I'm always here for you, no matter what." She knew this was a promise that she would NEVER break to the young witch. "Of course, wild hippogriffs couldn't keep me away." Seriously, if she had to apparate from the other side of the world to be there, she would. "Pinky swear on it," she nodded as she offered her pinky to her. "Kites, picnics, parks and ice cream. Maybe we can even have a sleep over at my flat?" It had been some time since their last sleepover and she felt they would definitely need to catch up.
Giving her again tight hug, she sighed softly. "I really should let you go and see your friends. I'm sure Evan is wondering just where I am and the train should be leaving soon. I'll miss you but maybe I'll see you over winter break?" She wasn't even sure if she would be around then, but there was always a chance.
"Behave and have fun for me. Do me proud," she smiled as she blow Anya a kiss bye before she turned to make her way through the crowd.

Her eyes shifted around the platform looking for someone else who was alone. Talking to a strange that was by themselves was much easier than talking to strangers in a group. (Valentina had learned this the hard way while trying to make new friends in Rome) The only person in sight was a boy who seemed probably about her age? She wasn't good at the guessing game. Key point was he was someone to talk to, someone who looked like they could probably be nice.

When Jessie made it through to Platform 9 3/4, she gasped. The red steam engine was beautiful! And there were so many people! She started looking around for others dressed in yellow and black, fellow Hufflepuffs. She grabbed her trunk and followed the crowd that headed towards the door to the train. Her trunk, now full of everything she needed for the school term, was quite heavy, but she managed to push, pull, and shove it onto the train.
She wouldn't shake his hand.
Dustbin hat, you understand.

The woman had it right about the cleaning part. Hades nodded, making a mental note to find a sink or... Hang on! Didn't his mother packed him a bottle of sanitiser? Come to think of it, his backpack was like a first aid kit; Essence of Dittany, sanitiser and even some bezoars which his brother brought back from who knew where. Slipping one strap off his shoulder, Hades began to mini-ransack his bag before he pulled out a bottle of translucent liquid. He opened the cap and squeeze the bottle as the lid was directed onto his other palm before he rubbed both palms together. Then, he kept the bottle back into his bag when he noticed the woman eyeing him.
The look made Hades curious, but ended after she asked for his introduction and also the clumsy man thanking him, but didn't know his name. "Hades Vaughn. Yes, I just transferred to Hogwarts," smiled the boy as he looked at the complicated looking couple. His eyes fell on the man who looked like he had one heck of a lousy day.

Lewis grinned at her when she laughed at his joke - he had actually made a joke! - before looking back over his shoulder at the wall they had just run through. So this was it. There was really no turning back anymore, was there? He was actually going to go to Hogwarts this year. Sigh.
Oh, so she didn't seem too keen on leaving after all. At least not right now. That was nice. Right now he didn't even care too much if she just stayed with him because it was her duty as a Prefect or because she actually wanted to. When he heard Vanilla purr loudly again, Lewis glanced back down and saw that Kurumi was scratching her behind the ears. "I'm pretty sure she's quite happy that she got to meet you too." He replied with a smile and a nod at the cat on his trolley, which was now somehow trying to roll onto her back without falling off.
Quite surprised by the sudden rather out-of-the blue question Lewis looked back up at Kurumi, meeting her gaze. "Fifth. What about you?" He replied, cocking his head slightly to the side. It was only now that he noticed her eyes were of quite a unique color. Hmm. That was definitely interesting.

Alyssa stopped running and slowed down to a halt. She was now not only upset but also embarrrassed because she did exactly the one thing she hadn't intended to do. One. Cause a scene. She did it in front of two of her class Professors!! Two, lose her temper, and Three, say that she never wanted to talk with Aaron again. Because SHE DID!! It didn't matter that they were no longer dating. Yeah it would have been nice if he had told her the truth back then in the summer. She still would have gotten mad, but she would have come around and they would still be friends. Now she had just made it worse by saying that she never wanted to talk with him again. How could she not do that? They were in the same House and she was bound to see him in classes and at the Quidditch games. Alyssa sighed and sat down on the nearest empty bench she could find. She bent down and put her head in her hands. What was she to do?
After a while she looked up and turned to where Aaron was still standing talking to an older girl. 'Should I go up and apologize for slapping him? What will he say to me?'Alyssa thought to herself. After a couple moments of thought, she got up from the bench and walked back over to him.
"Erm...Aaron. I'm sorry I slapped you. I overeacted. I know I said that I didn't want to talk with you again but I still do. I still consider you my friend, even though you may not want to be, after what I just did to you. Anyway, I hope that the girl makes you happy. Can we still be friends?" Alyssa said to Aaron, sticking out her hand.
Paulie's thoughts were quickly returning to sad things, when all of a sudden.... DISTRACTION.
Someone was talking to him. Oh, thank Merlin. Girls were much more distracting than boys, too. Although, when she spoke, itt was kiiind of freaky.. like, this girl totally read his mind. But he rolled his shoulders and gave a guilty smile, thankful that she had chimed in. "Uh, yeah.. I guess I am." Definitely. "Cool accent, by the way," he added. Sure, he had no idea where she was from, but the accent was cooool.
"You excited to go back to Hogwarts, then?" If only this darn train would hurry up..
Well, at least he'd admit it and was honest. Honesty was a good quality, right? Meaning she'd keep talking to this boy.
Th brunette shrugged her dainty shoulders, smile still etched on her face. "It happens especially when you have nothing to do..."Val eyed him and the space around him for a bit, seeing no sign of anyone talking to him or anything else to really do."And it seems you have nothing to do!"But that was changing because she was here and going to make his time at the platform MUCH more entertaining. He better return it. Cool accent? Her smile grew a bit more, a hand covering over her mouth."Why thank you, born in New York and raised in Italy. Mama's italian, father's Irish-American though I tend to exclude my father's genes out and consider myself just Italian."Italian sounded better than a long explanation, didn't it? Valentina thought so.
"Back to Hogwarts? Oh no, no."She shook her head and chuckled softly. It was a bit embarrassing to say it was her first year here even if she was 15 years old. "I'm actually just starting this year, I was home schooled. I'm guessing you're returning though?" It seemed it by the way he talked. She was in fact sure he was a returning student like most people were at the platform. Most people unlike her. Hmmmph."Oh, I'm too rude!"She had not introduced herself to this new boy who had not introduced himself! Her hand stuck out and the smile turned into a large grin."Valentina Kelly, Val. Your name?"

Did Lewis just...sigh? Kurumi had been to focused on the kitty to have really noticed, but she assumed it had been a sigh of relief for having made it. It was a scary experience, going through the wall for the first time.
Kurumi giggled as Vanilla attempted to roll onto her side, but her width and the width of the trunk she was resting on were not matching up very well. It really would only be a matter of time before the feline went tumbling off the trunk and landing on the ground. She couldn't help but blush just a bit at his comment, however. "Such a well behave kitty," she cooed. "My Walnut managed to get himself shaved last term. The cat is a menace to himself."
Kurumi tried to muffle her laughter at the look on his face. It had been her fault after all. "I'm a fifth year as well," she nodded. "Although...I can hardly believe it sometimes."

Hah! Well, she was a rather blunt one, wasn't she? Paulie liked that, though. It was refreshing and he also didn't have to worry about deciphering girl semantics. "True, I was pretty bored.. but that's not the case now, thanks to you!" He smiled again. Whoa, it sounded like she had a lot of nationalities or something. He nodded in understanding. "Well, ya definitely look Italian, so I could see most people thinkin' you're all Italian anyhow." And that's what she wanted... right?
That would explain why he hadn't recognized her: because she was NEW! "Oh, right! Well, that's still cool. I was new last year, 'cause I transferred, but yep.. now I'm a returner." A proud Hogwarts returner he was. Wait.. then she was saying that she was rude? Huh, how..? Oh! Introductions, yes. It'd already slipped his mind, too. Perhaps she was a little TOO distracting! "Valentina," Paulie repeated, impressed. "That totally sounds like a Bond girl name." That was a compliment, of course. "I would be Paul Foster, but everyone calls me Paul-ie."
Did that happen often then? The magical bloodline suddenly stopped and then suddenly another one turned up? His dad could roughly recall a supposed 'witch' in the family but it sounded totally medieval and unbelievably. Until now of course. Now they all knew that these stories were true. "Me sister ain't got it, just me. Least I don't think she does" He felt special like this though. There was something about him that no one else in his family had, or his friends, apart from Tom of course. .
Bradley couldn't help but laugh loudly at his story. "Did you have to pay for it?" he asked, still laughing at the image of an exploding tv in his head. "Me mum would kill me if that happened. Mine was just a football flying across the room a few times. No one saw it, no one would believe it if they had" He didn't tell anyone what had happened, at first he didn't believe it had occurred himself.
What? Newts? "Aint that a lizard/fish thing?" he asked raising his eyebrow. Had Tom got a little confused here, because he was certain that a newt was an amphibian. Prove himself, with a newt? Yes. Tom had definitely lost him here.
His eyes followed Tom's down to the cat. "Bastet. Mam named her after somethin' egyptian. A goddess cat thing I think" he replied, shoving the cat gently with his foot so that she would look up. "You can stroke her, she don't care" It just felt a little weird. There was some hair, very very short hair and her skin looked a little wrinkly. But she was cool and made a very good companion.
It was crazy. If Freddie hadn't been magical, he would have just thought it was a load of old codswallop. When the owl came with his Hogwarts letter he would have thought he'd lost his mind. Tom sometimes wondered whether Freddie, their ma's golden child, resented it when Kat and Tom both discovered their abilities. He didn't show it if he did. Bradley had been the only lucky one in his family. “Tha's cool.” He nodded. “Makes you more, liaye, special dunnit?” His sister? “Ow old's yer sistah now?” It had been far too long since Tom had seen Brad.
Thomas chuckled as Bradley laughed. He shook his head. “Nahh.. Me ma an' da' got a much bettah one froo the 'ouse insurance. I fink they woz pleased it got broken in the end.” Things were such a struggle for the Broadmoors that they wouldn't have been able to afford one otherwise. “Me da' gave me a rollicking.” He nodded. Man could be scary when he got angry. He was tall, silent.. a bit like Freddie, but when he lost his temper, it was best to be far far away.
He grinned as Bradley talked about flying footballs. “So, liaye, is this somefin' you can control, or was it jus' raandom floating 'raun' the room?”
Bradley hadn't heard of NEWTs of course. Tom smiled. “I fought the same when I first 'eard 'bou' them. They're exams an' tha'. Like maggle A-Levels. Stands for Nastily Exhaustin' Wizardin' Test.” Tom informed him. It was nice not to be the ignorant new kid for once, but he could sympathise with Bradley's cause. And Tom didn't even know a fraction of what there was to learn about the magical world yet.
A cat goddess? That was pretty cool. Imaginative. He looked down at the cat as she looked up, reaching out a hand to pet her head gently. Tom loved animals, and they usually seemed to like him. He laughed a little. “She feels really blaady weird.”

Keefer made his way through the crowd, still looking for people he knew through the steam. He spotted Kurumi with a student he didn't recognize. Seeing the shiny badge on her chest, Keefer hailed her.
"Kurumi, I never mentioned it last year, so congrats on the badge!"
