The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.

"Why don't you try to invite him at summer to your house? Perhaps to your birthday party?" she suggested. Well, actually She's just kidding.
"I... I... I..." Zhenya stuttered. She took a big breath and looked at her friend. Did she think she would be able to keep it to herself? Well, Zhenya was sure that Raven wouldn't be able to pass it on to Gordy. "I do like him," she whispered. "But shh, I don't want him to know!" she said.
Then she thought about her birthday party... she hadn't really thought about a party, she did the usual celebration with her family, but it would be good. "I suppose I should invite him," she said.

End of term feast. It seemed that the time this term had gone by so fast.
Daichi sat down at the edge of the Slytherin table. Grumbling a little bit when he realised that the Hufflepuffs had won every cup this time instead of his house. Yet at the same time it encouraged him to try even harder. He was also a bit down because he had to leave Floppy his best duck friend at the duck pond since his father did not like real ducks in his house. Seriously! He did not want to go home! He wanted to stay at the duck pond! What if the pond was.gone next year?! It happened to the tree house!
Daichi.leaned forward on the table and slammed his forehead down. Not to hard but it did make a THUD sound and he just lay there

ZOMG, Zhenya had made a confession! Well, actually Raven just wanted to tease her, right?
"But, why don't you want to let him know?" she asked innocent. "Because he's not a wizard?" Meh, wizard and muggle supremacist. She didn't like that.
Suddenly she heard that Zhenya would have a birthday party! "You'll have a party?" she asked. "Invite me, or our friendship ends." she said kidding.

Hmph!
What Kennedy actually wanted to do was go down to the dungeons and lock himself in the dorms and not come out until the beginning of next term. Could he do that? Hmm...what if he sneaked out of the Great Hall and back into the dungeons right now? Hmm...Nah. That would be setting a bad example for his house and that was the last thing he wanted; a bunch of parents reporting missing children because they were all secretly hiding in the dungeons.
A small smile appeared, "Hey," There was no doubt on what was on their minds, the end of the term and having to witness the loss of their potential triple threepeat victory. Kimalia's eyes briefly sat on the low points of Slytherin before looking back at Kennedy. "Ready for the summer?"

That had been a promise ever since Christmas and the discussion in the Room of Requirement, when she'd finally told him what had happened to her back at Beauxbatons that had really made her want to transfer. She wasn't about to break that promise now, but it was hard. Especially when everyone else in the Great Hall were saying their goodbyes and just generally sad about the term ending.
For once she wasn't about to sit and mope at the Ravenclaw Table until he showed up, either. She'd had difficulty getting Lyra into her basket to get taken to the station, to the point that she hadn't even bothered trying to get Nuage to join her cat. The pygmy puff was perched on her shoulder, snuggled up against her neck, and she'd veered toward the Slytherin table. Matt was supposed to be there already, and after a moment she picked out his head amongst the few other Slytherins who had already arrived. Walking over, she paused a moment as she saw Alyssa there too, prepared to let the younger Hufflepuff have a moment. Her eyes widened as the girl had burst into tears, though, and she stepped closer. Resting a hand on Matt's shoulder so he knew she was there, she turned to the crying girl. "Alyssa?," she asked, concerned both about how distressed she was and knowing it wasn't going to make things any easier on anyone. It honestly almost made her want to cry, but she really didn't want to.

"It seems as though there are more people sad about me leaving than I thought. Doesn't make it much easier to handle though." Of course, he knew already that the Ravenclaw was going to be sad but at least they were still seeing each other over the summer; what was going to be really difficult was when she had to go back to Hogwarts for her last term and he was going to be staying in France for the year. Kennedy turned to the person that had sat next to him and gave a greeting nod along with, "Hi." He managed to flash her a grin and then he followed her gaze. He gave an internal groan. He had utterly failed as prefect. Totally. But next term they'll start out fresh and hopefully bring all three cups back to Slytherin.
He looked back at Kimalia and shook his head. "Not, really," he said. He actually never wanted to leave Hogwarts. "What about you? Got any special plans?" he asked on a lighter note.

Adrianna walked to her house table with Treble and Clef, her two baby Pygmy Puffs, on her shoulders. She sighed and looked around. She was even more upset than she had been last year.
Last year it was Kita that had left. Now it was Chandler, Ellie, Dallin, Zayden, and Mia. And probably others. She felt...alone now. But at least there was still Alec. She had Alec to keep up with.
She hoped he wouldn't be upset when she left in two more terms. That'd be just terrible.
She sat down quietly, sighing as Treble rubbed her neck and squeaked softly. But Adrianna didn't feel like smiling at all. She just wanted to stay quiet and sad.

Alec didn't know why but all of a sudden, he found himself over at the Slytherin table. This was a place he didn't usually go towards and now... he was here. Would they hate him for coming over and stealing a spot?
He hoped not!
Seeing a familiar face, Alec smiled as he wandered over towards the older girl who... was she okay? He knew that she wasn't exactly the super happy and giggly kind of girls but Ad was still... sometimes happy. At least, around him.
"You know, this is a feast. Good food needs to have smiles to go with it." Would that help her cheer up? He hoped so!

Ad looked up from placing both Puffs on the table gently and stared at Alec.
"I guess so...but I feel like I'm starting back at square one. I guess I made a few too many older friends this term" she blinked back tears.
"It seems like I'm only left with you. And it's not that I don't want to spend time with you, because I really, really do...it's just that I'm gonna miss all the people I considered my older siblings..."
She sniffled and slid over a bit and patted the spot next to her. "Sit with me?" she asked quietly.

Stella wasn't about to interrupt Alyssa's time with Matt, beyond hoping that it didn't make him even more depressed about leaving them all. Part of her promise to herself that she wasn't going to break down meant she had to actually be strong. Even if she really, honestly, wanted to cry and tell him that she didn't want him to be away next term. She wanted him to see France, but it would still be there after she graduated. Either way, she continued to hold back while Alyssa had regained her voice, and there had been hugs between the Puff and Matt. It wasn't worth stepping in when it would just make things even more complicated. Plus, it wasn't like she thought she needed to be jealous.
She blinked as Alyssa turned the hugs to her, though, surprised. She hadn't ever really had a conversation with the girl. Maybe that should change next term. "Um, hi," she said awkwardly, returning the hug. "You weren't embarrassing me. I can't speak for Matt. I understand it all, in any case," she concluded. She really did, even if the younger girl's tears were threatening to make her resolve not to cry crumble. Plus, she hoped the girl would be okay. It wasn't like it was really the end for everyone. The term, yes, but they'd see each other again. Matt had told her that too.

She'd returned her hand to Matt's shoulder as he'd settled back into his seat. Hoping that everything really wasn't getting to him, since that would crack her resolve even more. But, as he'd turned to her, she quickly sat down and hugged him, sort of snuggling as much as possible without risking professor notice. "Of course there're more people sad about you graduating. That's just the way you are. People like you," she said, not realy looking at him due to the snuggles. "I wish I could make it easier for you. Easier for me, too, but I don't want you feeling bad about graduating," she continued, finally sitting up more so she could at least tilt her head to look at him. Strong. She was going to stay strong, even if the moment made her want to break down. He never would. She knew that.
"Graduation does have to come. Otherwise you'd just be stuck," she replied, giving him the slightest of smiles to show she was trying to amuse him. "You'll see people when you're at home, and then it'll be time to go to France and you'll see me again. And next term is going to fly by for me just like it did for you this term, and then I'll be graduated." She wasn't sure who exactly she was convincing by now, but if it worked, it didn't matter. She did go back to the hug, though, using it to hide another moment of wanting to not be strong. Everything she said was true, or at least she hoped it was. There were definitely going to have to be a lot of owls next term.

Well, it was true.
Deciding to move the conversation away from her looks, though...he smiled a bit warmer...Only where she could see, of course. "So, why be nervous about going home?"
Anya frowned a little. "I feel kinda lost..." she said tucking a bit of hair behind her ear. She knew what her mum would say. That this was all part of growing up. Anya didn't like it one bit.

She glanced up at him for a second debating on whether or not to tell him. Judging by the fact that he hadn't really mentioned who she was... or wasn't at all upset with her sitting there... she deemed him perfectly acceptable.
"I lost someone important to me..." she said turning her attention back to her plate. "I guess now that I'm going home..." She didn't finish her thought. She wasn't exactly sure how to describe it. She accepted it, yes. She was dealing with it. But... she hadn't exactly faced anyone else.
And then there were other things. Like Alec. She was going to spend all summer with him. But she couldn't help but wonder if things would be different. They'd both made new friends. And she knew Alec would always be her favorite person in the whole wide world... but Alec... Alec had made friends... with other girls.

By the look on Stella's face, Matt could tell that she was trying not to cry and he had especially hated seeing his girlfriend cry but it was rather difficult to keep himself together right now. Watching all the people around him ending up sad that he was leaving wasn't entirely hadn't been easy to handle at all, how it seemed as though people liked him that much had truly perplexed him. "I know you do. And really what would make it easier for me is just having you here. I'm not entirely sad that I am graduating because it's never actually the end, well of this chapter yes; but what's next is what keeps me from sitting here and moping." Between spending the next year in France and then starting university, it truly was going to be interesting and even though he was never going to see Hogwarts again; he had accepted that. Plus he had taken enough pictures and had sketches of several areas around the school that were going to be perfect memories.
A slight chuckle escaped from his lips at what she had said next, it was rather evident that she was just trying to make him laugh and it worked perfectly considering he felt the slightest bit better than earlier. "I'd rather not get stuck. I'd take graduation over that any time." Sure he would have rather hide out in the broom closet so that he could have spent one last term with her but that wasn't going to happen. "You know that I'm really excited about going to France over the summer, even if I'm still nervous over the fact of having to meet your parents." It made perfect sense to be nervous about that since he hoped that they would like him, it was never a good sign if the girlfriend's parents didn't like you. "By the time you graduate from here, I'll be getting ready to go to university." At least that was in London, he hadn't thought that travel would have been likely again after spending the year traveling around France.

Stella knew she'd failed in hiding how she felt about his graduating, but that was another reason why the snuggles were good. She knew it helped him, and it hid her face rather well so he couldn't feel worse by watching her. And she hugged him again as he'd spoken. "Well I am here," she pointed out. "I won't go anywhere unless Professor Lafay or anyone makes me, either." She really hoped that wouldn't happen, seeing as she was still a little bit afraid of the Potions mistress. "And it's definitely not the end. Is it ever, really?" That distracted her pretty well from continued sadness about the situation, as did the entirely too cheery appearance of the Slytherin prefect further down the table. She still felt hyper-aware of Matt, though, even as she could tell his confusion and discomfort with the emotions surrounding the feast were ebbing a little. At least someone was getting comfort out of it all.
The fact he'd picked up on her trying to make him laugh helped a lot too, even if she'd gone back to snuggles by then. She still felt a lot better. "I think there are probably people thinking about gluing people to their seats or something. I think that would get awfully boring, though. Since people would be stuck here after we all go home for the summer," she mused aloud, even as he'd moved on to talking about the summer, and she pulled back again to look at him in surprise. "My parents will love you. Talia's a good way of knowing that. She loves you, so my parents will too," she said. Of course, not in the way she loved him. That would just be awkward, and besides, her sister had a boyfriend. "And I might be too. Well, WADA. But anyway, you'd still be back in London with me." Not like next term, when they'd be in completely different countries.

Suddenly she heard that Zhenya would have a birthday party! "You'll have a party?" she asked. "Invite me, or our friendship ends." she said kidding.
Zhenya's face fell from a smile, to a look of absolute horror. "My.. what? I would definitely invite you Raven, don't say that! I don't ever want to not be your friend," she said, putting her arm around her best friend.
"But yes he is a Muggle boy. That doesn't bother me though, I just think I'll wait until I finish Hogwarts to tell him. Although he might not like me then, but that's a chance I'm willing to take for lo.. for like!" she said, correcting herself quickly.

He looked back at Kimalia and shook his head. "Not, really," he said. He actually never wanted to leave Hogwarts. "What about you? Got any special plans?" he asked on a lighter note.
Kimalia noted how saddened Kennedy sounded, "It's strange leaving Hogwarts, even though we'll be back soon.. it's like leaving a second home." Well, third in her case, seeing as she ventured between her real home, then her brother's and then Hogwarts yearly..
But this summer she wasn't going to be at any of them. "Somewhat, spending some "sisterly" time with my brother's fiance.. and seeing an old friend who use to go here." It was quite a nice surprise to hear back from Mitch, even if he may never return to Hogwarts. "Should be a nice break before OWLs term.. now what about you?" Kimalia tucked her closed fist under her chin. "Surely you must have some extravagant plans."

Meh, Zhenya took something very seriously. Raven just chuckled to hear that and saw her friend's face anxious. "Hey, I'm just kidding, huh. Never take something too seriously, Zhenny." she said. "Especially my statement." she laughed.
"But, you really want me to come to your birthday, right?" she asked. "I'm looking forward for that."And If you also asked the muggle boy to join, it'll be better too.
Food, food. Raven looked forward for the food. Where were the bloody house elves?! Didn't they know that the students here were starving? She never liked that disgusting creatures. Well, back to the topic.
"Well, that's good." Since Raven was still 12, all things that she knew about boys was only they were her rivals in basketball. She mostly befriended with boys before she came to Hogwarts. That's all. She never thought about love relationship. For her, boys are friends. That's enough. Suddenly she missed her muggle boy friends. Could she met them again, now?
