Katie smirked and turned her head looking around, and then took his hand holding it then turned and smiled at him.

She raised and eyebrow "Hey So Hungry, its nice to meet you" Katie giggled then adding being more mature, "Me too, I hope the food comes soon"

Katie blinked as someone hugged her, she turned to see the lovely Cass, "Hey!" She hugged her back "I missed you too" Katie said with a smile.

John smiled and didn't mind having his hand held by her. He was quite pleased.

"Nice to meet you too, Miss Fiesty" John teased as he stomach grumbled again.

"I hope so too, I need to take some insulin as well" John said quietly as he felt shy, regarding to being a Type 1 diabetic.

When the crup went off to investigate the pygmy puff, Matt felt his eyes wander onto the table; why had he suddenly been so curious about the little creatures? Hmm that was truly the question of the moment. But it seemed like he had to be snapped back to the current conversation when Sel had spoke again, that definitely was a good idea there. "You know what, that is an awesome idea right there! I mean chocolate frogs are amazing and any excuse I can get my hands on them.. it's truly a good time dude." Speaking of which, were there any chocolate around here? Huh it appeared not but that was definitely going to change as soon as possible.

Whoa whoa whoa.. back up there for a second, baby sit a crup? Was that even possible? Apparently so and for it being asked of him, he was actually quite intrigued. "I'd love to babysit Clarke at some point, animals love me; as a matter of fact I've got a dog and a kitten back home and my owl Gidget is somewhere. But she's very.. energetic." Definitely the best way to put it, but at least she seemed to get along with people like his girlfriend who speaking of which hadn't entered the Great Hall yet; he knew that he was going to see her later on anyway.

Oh! When she clarified that it was the pygmy puff who want to see about the owl treats, he nodded for a second before finally speaking. "Oh Kent should be able to eat the treats without a problem, I've seen a few pygmy puffs eat owl treats before and as odd as it might sound; they usually take to them. It's much better than eating snot." That was just gross dude. Seriously.

Isaac was still stunned from how big the castle look! How in Merlin's name was he going to find his way around? And now, he'd gotten put into Slytherin??? Well this was going to be interesting. He kind of dreaded how his mums family was going to take that as well! Finding a seat at the table he watched as Amelia waited to see where she'd be sorted.

He had no idea of anybody AT ALL who was in Slytherin. The only ones he'd met already were in Hufflepuff...he thought anyway. The others had been firsties. Wait...wasn't that boy on the train a Slytherin? Ok, that meant he knew ONE. Just one Slytherin. Merlin, he didn't know yet what a Slytherin was other then he was one.

Sitting quietly at the table he just watched the others, he felt so alone now too, in the midst of all the students. He really REALLY hoped Amelia would be sorted in Slytherin, then he wouldn't feel as alone.

Addy sniffled and found a seat at her house table, her arms and face still bleeding from that blasted cat. She hoped Zayden would come sit with her instead of with Mia.

Miss Fiesty? She had to be called that didn't she? She giggled, "So, So Hungry whats been happening?" She smiled.

Katie blinked and said quietly, "Insulin?" She said.

At first, Kennedy was going to ignore the loud "HEY! YOU!" because he wasn't sure if it was directed at him, but when he heard something about a shiny badge he turned to the girl that was waving like there was no tomorrow. Why? Well, because he had one of those.

M'hm.

He cautiously made his way to her. "Hey," he greeted. "I'm Kennedy," he smiled, extending his hand to her. Finally he wasn't forgetting about introductions.

Kennedy turned in Aurora's direction at her voice with a wide smile. "Hello, Potions Princess," he said, remembering the name he gave her last Valentine's day. "I'm going to need some time to get used to that," he chuckled. He was still in shock about the whole prefect thing.

"I missed you-" he was interrupted when he felt something, more like someone, cling to his back.

What in the name of Batman was going on? Were there attacking firties going about?

It was Harlow!

Kennedy laughed at her excitement. "Hey, Harlow!" but before he could answer her question she asked one after the other, leaving him a tad wowed. He was of course going to answer all of her questions. Here it went, "Me too. I was ground. Yes, I did. Yes, to that too." Air break. Continue. "Yes, I am. When I got my letter. Yeah, I need a hair cut, don't I?" That sounded like a bunch of broken sentences.

He chuckled. "I don't think I've ever answered that many questions under a minute." True fact. "How was your summer?" he asked her in return.

"I'm starving! And nothing much just thinking about 'stuff' John said as he looked around he was more nervous than before "what about you?" he asked politely as he smiled at her.

John looked down at his dog tag, that wrapped around his neck.

"I-I'm diabetic..." John said quietly.

Conrad made his way over to the Slytherin table. He was incredibly happy and relieved to have been sorted into the right house, but still nervous to meet all his fellow classmates and fit in. And he was hungry- very, very hungry, now that he thought about it. When would the feast be served? He couldn't wait.

Selena grinned as he said he needed to get his hands on them. Because what did she have always? Chocolate. It was the key thing to survival in her book. No one could live without it. "Chocolate frogs, hyperness, sugar, have you ever eaten sugar? Just sugar by itself? It's amazing," Selena said as she rummaged in her bag with her free hand and pulled out a pentagon-shaped box. "Chocolate frog! Here!" she said, holding it out to him as an indication that he could have it. Because Selena definitely had more of those... somewhere in her bag... and trunk... they were there yup.

And yay! Selena would just leave out that little bit about... Clarke eating shoes. "That's brilliant," Selena said beaming. A dog was very much like a cruppy, right? And a kitten? Selena wasn't very fond of felines... they looked too interested in pygmy puffs and owls for Sel's liking. "Energetic is good! You should feed her treats for being so energetic... or maybe the treats make her even more energetic?" she mused. Hmm... the mysteries the world had to offer.

"Really? Because Kent never eats them," Selena said frowning. She had tried. It didn't work. But she would make it work then because he said they did indeed eat owl treats. She looked at the little fluff ball... Kent was going to eat the treats somehow...

Selena grinned as the boy noticed her waving and stuff. Well... it was kinda hard. But still. "Hi!" she exclaimed, beaming. Because he seemed nice, Selena liked nice people. She glanced at his hand then at Clarke. This time, the cruppy was too preoccupied with the pygmy puff to notice the hand. She shook the boy name Kennedy's hand. "I'm Selena, most people call me Sel though, are you the male prefect?" she asked, squinting at the shiny badge he had on. She was pretty sure of it. "Or did someone let you borrow it?" because that was possible too, right?

Amelia smiled as she watched Isaac go to the Slytherin table. She knew he'd thought that he would go into Hufflepuff but since she was sure she'd been in Slytherin she was happy to see him there. Even if she had been a little bit unsure around him on the train after he kissed her that was only because she'd been a bit shocked.

Now hopefully he'd actually ask her out.

Her musing was cut off when she was called to be sorted, and was placed into Slytherin. She was so excited that as soon as the hat was off her head she was heading over to Isaac. Upon reaching him Amelia threw her arms around his neck, thankful that he'd been watching for her, and was therefore facing her, and kissed him back.

She was a bit embarrassed about doing so in front of a hall full of people, especially since it would only be their second kiss, but she was excited as well. This made all her plans of being around Isaac a whole lot easier, and she wouldn't be so alone with Isaac being in Slytherin as well.

A smirk was seen on his face after the Sorting Hat placed him in Slytherin. The neck tie had turned green with silver stripes as Hades made his way to the Slytherin table. Frankly, he didn't mind being sorted anywhere else as long as it wasn't Hufflepuff. He'd rather jump down from the astronomy tower if that was to happen. Although there was one thing Hades wasn't too pleased to see. That was the table being food-less. He hadn't eat anything whilst they were on their way to hear, thus he settled down on the chair just right in front of a boy a lot younger than him looking rather down. First year?

Sliding his hand on the table nearer to the other boy, the fourth year tapped the table with his fingers. "Hey, kiddo! You're alright?" asked Hades with curiousity written everywhere on his face. Then again, it could be because he didn't want to be seen as an anti-social, so talking to people was the only way to avoid the misunderstanding.

Jen was so exited to be in Hogwarts. She said hi to every one. She saw a student sitting at the Slytherin table she walked over
"Hello, my mes Jen" she said.

Harlow looking around and spotted someone she didn't know. She had made a goal to meet everyone in Hogwarts before she left. "Hi," she waved at the newly sorted Slytheirn, who was still bigger than she was. "I'm Harlow Riddle." she smiled at the boy hoping she was being friendly. Well she knew she was she just wanted to make sure the boy knew that she was being friendly.

Still clinging to Kennedy's back to waved at Aurora, "Hi you." she answered back.

Harlow hugged Kennedy tightly trying to keep herself from crying. She had really missed him over the summer. "Why were you grounded?" she asked recovering enough to not let her questions spill out of her like a spigot. She calmed down enough to let go of Kennedy's neck and sit down on the bench next to her friend. "My summer was great. We went on a Atlantis treasure hunt. The whole family. I mean like all the Riddles and everything. It was so much fun." Harlow had been in the group with her cousins JoJo, Brazil, her aunt Asia and Irish. It had been more fun than she thought possible. "We ended up in Prague and we came in third." she announced.

Aurora grinned, giggling slightly. "Well, it suits you. You'll get used to it in no time." she said, leaning over and giving him a quick peck on the cheek before Harlow appeared.

Chuckling as Harlow launched herself at Kennedy. "You have a parasite." she observed, pointing at the little second year.

Aurora watched in amusement as Kennedy answered Harlow's questions at top speed. She grinned slightly, thinking Nooooo don't get a haircut! She loved his curly hair... it was all soft and boing-y!

"I though you were so hungry?" Katie giggled, "Oh nothing has been happening really, just having fun by the beach" She smiled, she loved the beach, it was just so much fun.

Katie didn't care, not at all, she hugged him, "I'm sorry" She said softly to comfort him.

"Hi Jen," Conrad said to the girl who walked up to him. "My name's Conrad; it's nice to meet you. Are you a first year too?"

Watching as Amelia came over quickly, he was stunned when she kissed him. He was nearly ecstatic! But he remained calm and collected though he thought he'd explode from what just happened. How could everyone NOT be staring? Or cheering? Ok, maybe not cheering, and he was thankful they weren't staring too. "Yer in Slytherin!" he said stating the obvious. He was so relieved, he actually knew someone besides the boy from the train, and it was someone he knew he wanted to spend lots of time with! With Amelia definitely in Slytherin now, he could totally handle not being in Hufflepuff.

His hand found hers under the table a grin on his face. "So this Hogsmeade place that I heard about sounds cool. Think mebbe ye'd like te go with me there te check it out?" he asked casually looking over at her.

It'd be a date but well he had hopes to check out the castle soonlike, and hoped she'd like to do that too. But asking her out on an actual date sounded better then saying Hey want to explore the castle together?

Sammy looked up as he heard a voice addressing him. He seemed a bit older and didn't seem like a bad person or anything...and Wally had told him to socialize...and Sam did WANT to socialize. "Yeah I'm all right. A little shocked by the sorting, but all right." He smiled. "I'm Samuel Lawrence by the way. Please call me Sam or Sammy. Please. I hate the name Samuel." He really did.

...and now a girl was talking to him. Sammy returned her smile, just because he was being polite. Girls were not cool. Accept for Adeline. And Raven. But that was it. "I'm Sam Lawrence." She wasn't allowed to call him Sammy. He wasn't even going to give the girl the option.

John chuckled, and playfully nudged her.

"How's the situation with the 'other guy' going? John couldn't contain himself, he had to ask...

John hugged her and patted her back.

"It's fine, I've got it under control." John replied with a warm assuring smile.

"Yeah I am. Its nice to meet you. When does the food appear because I'm starving.

"I told you I would be. And as much as I know you wanted to be in Hufflepuff I'm glad that you aren't," Amelia replied, still blushing slightly as she removed her arms from around him and sat down. She was closer to him than she needed to be but Amelia was sure that Isaac wouldn't mind. And if he did he could ask her to move and she would.

Smiling gently as he held her hand under the table Amelia tangled her fingers with his, noting for the first time how large his hand felt in comparison to her own. It was nice to hold his hand and know where she stood with him now. Not that she hadn't made sure to hold Isaac's hand whenever she could get away with doing so earlier anyway.

"I'd like that very much," Amelia replied softly, eyes shining with excitement. If they weren't in public right now she'd be dancing for joy. Isaac had just asked her out. Could life get any better for her?? Amelia doubted that it could.

"Luke? Worse" She sighed, "I've texted him, owled him, nothing, not even a 'Hi' He must be have moved to the moon" Katie crossed her arms, she didn't care about Luke now.

Katie smiled, "Thats good, but I'm still sorry to hear" Katie nodded.

John nodded, and looked around and cleared his throat.

"To the moon huh? That must be a fun place to live" John teased as he looked at fallen mood.

"would there be room for another guy?" He bluntly asked as he raised his brows. He wanted to laugh, not because it was funny, but because he was nervous and that was always his reaction.

"Aw I'm a strong man...that's why I'm a Gryffindor" John said as he realized it sounded cheesy. "I'm cheesy, but who cares" he added with a chuckle.

"I know, I'm hungry too! I wish we could conjure food ourselves. But hey, that's why we're at Hogwarts!"
