Jezz laughed, "Yeah we wouldn't want some girls earrings coming to us." She shrugged, "Sure why not. How hard could it be?" Well she found out that answer as she began to look all along the corridor. She listened closely hoping to hear a ringing indicating that he was near it but she heard nothing.
Sigh. Pulling wand out of the ankle holster that she kept it in, she said,"Accio Gustav's magical ringing earring." She held her hand open and waited for something to land there. You can't muck things up if you add a name right? And how many Gustav's could there be in the castle with a magical ringing earring? A few more seconds and there it was in the palm of her hand. As she moved closer to him, she could hear the ringing her had mentioned.
"Specifics," she said handing it to him. "They always clear things up and make things easier."
"Thank you...sorry I troubled you..."he said.
Gustav searched as he kept summoning his missing ear stud. Maybe he didn't say it right when he tried calling for it. He continued listening for a ringing sound at the other side from where Jezz was also searching for it.
Gustav turned around when he heard the familiar ringing sound came up behind him. His eyebrows rose up and his mouth rounded into a little 'o' shape.
"You found it!"he exclaimed as he thanked her several times. The ear stud stopped ringing as soon as he touched it. He was about to ask her how did she managed to summon it so incredibly fast.He grinned.
"I should have think about that...thank you again...I owe you one because I'm grateful that you have found it...this ear stud cost more than..."he stopped himself when he realised he was about to say. The ear stud was expensive and it cost more than what a middle-class wizard would make in a year or less.
"I mean...it cost more than my Quidditch game broomstick...I can tell you that,"he laughed. He put it back onto his left ear and instantly it became invisible when he willed it.
"Do you have a broomstick of your own?"he asked.

Jezz smiled, "Eh, it's no big deal. I just thought outside the box is all." She watched as he placed it in and it vanished. Pretty cool. More than a broomstick, that was some very expensive jewelry. Speaking of brooms,"I actually have two. One is for Quidditch purposes and the other is for other purposes." Ones she couldn't really discuss. "I keep cleaning it over and over really. It hardly sees any flight action." She smiled as she thought about all the things she had done and the places she had been with that broom. "How many brooms do you have?"

"Oh no no...I bring you some butterbeer if you like, I go to Hogsmeade Village and get something you want too ..."he offered and smiled. He knew only third year students and above with guardian permission are allowed to visit the village.
He wondered what other sort of purposes she used the broomstick for but he let that thought go for the meantime.
"Yes, me too...you only get to ride them when it is free to use it..I don't think its right for broomsticks to be put on shelves or in a closet for some..."he added.
"I have a few...my father and I have a collection of Nimbus brooms, he is a collector...we also have classic broom too like the Comet and a few Cleansweeps, but we have mostly Romanian made-brooms and sometimes we rent them out to anyone who want to play Quidditch or travel purposes..."he replied but stopped himself when he realised he rambled a lot about broomsticks. It was one of his favourite interest he shared with his father.
"I'm sorry,I talked too much...but I got magazines I can give you to read some if you like...they tell you all about broomsticks and anything about quidditch,"he said.

Jezzabelle smiled and said, "You don't have to Gustav. Really it was no big deal." She was doing what she did best and that was being a friend.
"Whoa. You have a lot of brooms." She wasn't even sure if her parents had brooms. They were always so busy she doubted they had time to fly. She laughed as he rambled and then apologized for it, "It's fine. I don't mind listening to people talk." She shrugged, "Sure. It'd be cool to read the magazines."

I used to spend most of my summers out there with my family." Mainly he went with his Mum, which was odd since it was his Da's brother they stayed with. "My Uncle Eamonn lives out in that area. I remember each summer, my last one when I was 10," which...he really didn't want to think about. Not that last visit. "My cousin and I used to play with all the neighborhood kids a lot. There was one girl I was particularly close to..." If he could only remember her name, that had been so long ago.
"I dunno, my experience I might be able to even reach Minister with that type of talent."
Wasn't fussed about getting out? Not at all. "No, I had certain...circumstances keeping me from doing so." No longer did he have that barrier hanging over his head though. That was a nice thing. "I'm certainly glad to BE a tour guide. The company is definitely nice." He wasn't a loner by nature, it just always ended up as so. "Sounds like a your a go with the flow type of girl?" Which wasn't at all a bad thing! Just missed it? "I think you'll enjoy having that extra year after you adjust to Hogwarts. It really is a home here." He was going to miss it, a lot. Shut her up? Ani chuckled, shaking his head, "Not at all! I'm glad for the conversation!" He wasn't a fan of silences, ironic as it was.
"I'm sorry, I got distracted at the mention of Devon when you were talking about your school. So you are a muggleborn? And your parents wanted you to study their familiars instead?" That was an understandable reaction, Ani thought.
Lex had been following her train of thought until she noticed a change in the boys expression. Was it something she'd said and upset him or angered him? She didnt know this boy very well yet, even though he was a really recognisable fellow. She looked at her hands waiting for him to comment or make a remark..but when he did, it wasnt the one she was expecting. She let her blonde brows knitt together to form a perfectly shaped frown upon her face."Yea,I actually do, now you come to say it... my parents own a little pub thing on a corner. You know.. I-"then it came to her. What he was saying was true. She DID know this boy. It was little Ani.. OMG. She almost physically slapped herself. She had to stop herself from throwing herself at him."Omg Ani!! Little Ani! Ahhhh! I knew it, I knew I recognised you from somewhere, I could never forget those eyes! Not ever!!"she said, laughing as she now let her memories come flooding back to her.She grinned with happiness, wow. Things were looking up for definate.
She laughed even more now she felt a little embarressed. She did know this boy, veryy well, for the past heavens-knows how many years. She shook her head. And then frowned at the mention of having certain circumstances for which he stayed away in his dorm."Ani whats the matter? Is something wrong?",she now let worry wash over her. Her smile came back as he mentioned being happy to be the tour guide. He had no idea,"Wow, you dont know how nice it is to have conversation with someone who seems to have the same interests are me!"she said rolling her eyes. Some past experiences had prevented her from talking to everyone and anyone.
"Mum and Dad didnt like the idea of me coming here, but I knew I wanted to go so that was it. They couldnt keep me from this.. not by a long shot.."she said shrugging
Jezzabelle smiled and said, "You don't have to Gustav. Really it was no big deal." She was doing what she did best and that was being a friend.

Gustav grinned. He didn't really know many students here, even his roommates were not that close. He was glad he met Jezz.
"Oh we don't have a lot..my father is a collector enthusiast, we do quite a lot together since young..."he explained. He didn't want to continue with this topic because they were both quite sensitive with the mention of their families.
"Olright, I bring them over to you later then...are you heading anywhere after this?"he asked.
Gustav grinned. He didn't really know many students here, even his roommates were not that close. He was glad he met Jezz.

"Well to me it sounds like a lot," Jezz said laughing. "Well I was planning on going to the library. Maybe look around the castle. I feel like Rapunzel sometimes. All locked up in a tower." It was the only muggle princess she really ever knew about. That girl was stuck in a tower FOREVER...well until her prince saved her. "You want to come with me?" She didn't really know what she would do if she went to a library alone.

Rapunzel?..He wondered what she was talking about. Then she mentioned "locked up in a tower" which he assumed, she might be talking about a fairytale princess.Possibly the story comes from the muggle world? He really need to catch up on his reading about all things muggle.
"Well..that isn't good being locked up in the tower...they ought to be slaughtered for locking up a lion princess..."he mused.
He nodded," Of course...I don't really have anything else to do besides finding my ear stud...or hanging out by the lake,"he said. Although he still had to do his assignments but he always do it at night before going to bed.

"A lion princess," Jezz said. Well sure you could look at it that way. Come to think of it, that would be a great book. She smiled."Okay. Let's go to the library." She made for the stairs that lead to the lower floors. Where was the library anyways?
OOC: I'll post them at the library

"Maybe it just knocked itself out, you know? Due to the force of the...uh...collision and all?" Adam offered. Adam watched as Adam attempted to pick up the owl, its wings waving rather feebly at the gesture. When Adam asked him if he had any ideas he let out a little breath.
"Well, it didn't cry out in pain, which is a good sign right? I mean if something was broken it definitely would have cried out, so maybe it's just a little out of sorts." Adam was reaching and he knew it. Clearly no one, animal or person, could ram into a wall with such force that it would cause that loud of a noise, and not be hurt. "Maybe we should try and sit it up?" With a slightly nervous gesture Adam gently tucked his hands under the little owl, supporting it fully as it held it upwards. At the gesture the bird's eye opened, slowly, but they opened, surveying the two of them in a groggy manner.
"Oh thank god it's alive," Adam said, letting out a small sigh.
But what if the owl had been purposely holding in the pain? Some people liked to live like that, not showing emotions, it made them feel stronger about themselves. Animals could act in the same way.
When Adam grabbed the owl an announced it had been fine, Adam breathed out slowly. "Ma-ma-maybe we should take it to the CoMC Professor. I think there's nothing we can do now..." They were no veterians..
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

Looking at the still concerned look on Adam's face, he gave a small nod. "I think that's a good idea. After all it still looks pretty out of sorts, and we can't see the inside of the little guy. I am sure the COMC professor will know if it's alright."

An felt terribly rude for having gone off into his own little world at the mention of the little town, but it was quickly replaced once her face lite up and she began talking excitedly. Little...Ani? The boy's eyes grew wide, and his mouth dropped open before he could stop it. This was Alex, as in Lexxie who he'd use to play with every summer when he visited his Uncle. He'd known her since he was a wee little one. She'd basically been his closest friend before he met Seb, and now this was Lexxie at Hogwarts! His mouth closed, and instead formed a wide grin accompanied by a merry laugh while Anakin opened his arms for a hug, it'd been years! "Oh my GOSH! I can't believe it's you! I haven't seen you in...in ages! Who'd have thought we'd meet at Hogwarts?" Not him. He would honestly NEVER have guessed. "Oh, the times we had as kids..." It was funny how seeing someone from your past brought back memories, GOOD memories.
And of course, now that they'd realized they knew each other, quite well, he felt embarrassed for having said anything about his old circumstances. Lex had been pre-accident. "Erm, right after I saw you last, there was a bit of an accident in which I lost my hearing." But he had it mostly back now, it wasn't the BEST, but he could hear voices and everything now. That was what he'd cared about. Shaking off the awkward feeling, he gave a tiny laugh when she mentioned how nice it was to speak to someone who shared same interests. "It's true, so much easier to hold a conversation!" Because really, Anakin wasn't much of a conversationalist. Not unless there was a topic of same interests with another person. Usually, anyways.
"Well, I'm certainly glad they WEREN'T able to keep you from coming here! It's brilliant to see you again!"

Well stuff it she thought to herself. She embraced him tightly and let out a sigh of relief. Something in this boy made her feel at ease, it had for many years since they had once met. She smiled as she listen to him talk about their past as kids"You know, I always looked forward to those days! Soooo much fun"she laughed. All of the tryouble they used to get into by just being immature children. She was now definatley relieved to know someone, and that someone was a childhood friend.Boy what her parents would say knowing he was attending Hogwarts aswell.
She looked at him and frowned a little."Oh geeeez,"she said shaking her head and letting the look of sympathy wash over her face. She couldnt believe she was looking at theb boy infront of her.She glanced around to see if anyone else was occuping the halls. She turned back to him and nodded."Im glad your alright, doesnt sound the nicest thing to go through,"she said shaking her head. She looked around."Wellll Im so glad I have ran into you!"she said nodding, truely relieved she had a friend hiding within the castle all this time.
"Lets walk outside? Maybe by the lake? I heard thats meant to be amazing"she said glancing out of one of the windows to see if she could glimps at it."Then you can tell me what you have been doing these years!"
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."
Adam was on his way back from the library, up to the Gryffindor common room , a notebook tucked in his hand as he walked along the corridor. Deciding that it was best to just give it a rest for a while, perhaps until he was more removed from the initial shock and hurt, Adam decided to head back to the common room to work on some homework...

After his rather hopeful and lovely conversation with Professor Magnus, João was actually in a light mood. He even hummed to himself softly. He was going to become an animagus, and that sure deserved a HAPPY song. Making his way for the stairs, he even smiled to the first person he saw.
Who happened to be Adam the Dork himself.
"Fitzgerald," he said in a formal tone, pausing for a moment to study the boy. He wondered if Adam knew that Louisa and he were at the verge of breaking up. And, he almost wanted him to know, just so he could see his reaction. But no, he was actually happy today and he wasn't going to think of Louisa or any silly topics. He was actually going to be nice to even Adam, because HEWASGOINGTOBECOMEANANIMAGUS!

Barte, fote o tambor,

Adam had been so lost in thought that he had hardly acknowledged that someone had said his last name. However, once realizing the accent his mind finally allowed himself to process who had said hello to him. Oh...it was Joao. His favorite person. Coughcough. "Joao," Adam replied back, mimicking the boy's formal tone. He had to stop himself from smiling at the sudden image of Paulie kicking him popping into his head. Oh if only Adam had been a fly on the wall for that conversation!
Although...now that Adam's thoughts were entirely focused on taking in Joao, he realized that the boy looked to be in an incredibly good mood, and was actually saying hello in a somewhat cordial way. Interesting..."You seem to be in a good mood," Adam commented, not giving away a particular sign of opinion on the matter. He did find it quite odd though given the conversation between Louisa and him not that long ago had screamed signs that the two of them seemed to have hit a bumpy road. Of course Louisa hadn't flat out said that, but Adam could just tell and the questions she was asking implied they were having some problems.

João smirked for a moment when the boy adressed him with his rather hard first name. He wondered if he didn't know his surname. Probably not. Oh well. His loss.
"Oh, I am." He flashed another smirk as he nodded shortly. "For one, I've had enough of animosity between us, even if the name would sound a little... to heavy maybe in our case." An Adam on his side against Louisa was GOOD. Plus, he really wanted to give this guy a second chance, not because he deserved it but rather because he felt generous.

Something about the boy's smirk just rubbed Adam the wrong way, but maybe that was because Adam always knew you were getting more than what was at the surface with him. Plus there was that whole issue of Adam not really trusting a word that came out of his mouth considering that the boy had tried to drive a wedge between him and Louisa. Perhaps in a twisted way Adam should have taken it as a compliment because Joao certainly wouldn't have gone through the trouble if he didn't see Adam as a potential threat.
Animosity sounding too heavy? Nope, it was spot on in Adam's opinion, but he kept this tidbit of information to himself. He had to admit he was a bit shocked that Joao no longer wanted animosity between them. Surely he was trying to play at some angle by trying to befriend Adam in a more civil fashion, but Adam was having a hard time seeing it. Unless, maybe the two of them had gotten off on the wrong foot, and perhaps they needed to try again? "That's true," Adam said with a small nod of the head. "We both have too much on our plates as it is. I think we may have just gotten off on the wrong foot," Adam offered. Not to imply that Adam wanted to be best friends because he doubted there would ever be a time that he would completely trust Joao, but maybe it was worth a shot. After all keep your friends close, but your enemies closer, right?

Lilly grinned as she drew the last spiral on her drawing. Done! She pointed her wand at the paper. "Statua Habitum!" she muttered, as the frame turned real! Victory was hers! The girl's hand ached from the effort she put into the drawing. A silver frame lay in her hands. Even the spell worked first time! Yippee! Now all she had to do was go and give it to Professor Bently, the one she'd chosen.
João smiled, agreeing him, when the dork nodded at last. He was actually relieved that Adam admitted they had got off on the wrong foot. Not that it was usually possible for João to misjudge a person, but maybe he had misjudged the amount of idiocy of this boy. Maybe he wasn't one of the dorkest idiots on Earth but an ordinary dork among the Gryffindorks. In any way, his favourism for him would benefit him in the long race, especially with Louisa, and João would just have to see him as an 'ordinary dork' for it to work. In fact, he liked the boy already.
"So... peace now and friendship in the future?" See? Even in his sentences so far there was no 'negative' meaning. He really meant this friendship and positive mood between them.
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

Adam was surveying Joao waiting for him to start laughing and insist that he was just kidding and would never be caught dead with Adam. After all Adam was pretty sure that Joao had formed his opinion of him a long time ago and that nothing Adam did was going to change that. Not to mention it greatly rubbed Adam the wrong way that Joao just seemed so...well...condescending whenever he spoke to him? Although perhaps that was just the politician centered upbringing he had. After all the boy had to be sorted into Slytherin for some reason right? And perhaps with being close enough to the boy he could get something on him to show Louisa that the boy wasn't as great as he made him out to be.
With a sincere smile, because it was sincere, Adam gave Joao a nod. "It sounds good to me." Adam paused for a moment. "So...if you don't mind me asking. What exactly is that you're so happy about?" People on peaceful terms could inquire into things like that, yeah?

So the dork was sincere. Good. And maybe, as a bonus just for his honesty, João would stop calling him names inside his head. Yes, the boy deserved that much with his sincere smile and acceptance of peace without much discussion. If only his name was something more... sticky to the mind. and as easy as 'dork'.
Psssh, and these people were rude like this. Give them your hand and they want your arm!
As a matter of fact, I DO mind you asking... it's not a minute yet the life of our peace, and you start interrogating me. But no, he would not let his idea surface. His face betraying absolutely NOTHING, he smiled.
"I've heard good news." Satisfying enough? Of course it wasn't, it was obvious that he had got good news so that he was happy, but that should caution him to drop the matter, no?

Okayyyy...perhaps Adam had made a mistake by asking Joao why he was so happy. He didn't think that it was all that offensive or nosey of a question, but he supposed that by Joao's standards it was. "Well I'm glad that you've gotten good news," Adam said with a small smile and a little nod of the head.
Of course the curious part of Adam was beginning to wonder why exactly it was that the boy was being so secretive, especially when the news was good news and not bad news...unless...unless it had something to do with something that he wouldn't want Adam to get back to Louisa. Although Adam was intrigued he kept his smile genuine as he spoke, not letting on to his suspicions.

After tucking a stray strand of her hair behind her ear, Beezus buttoned her sweatshirt as she walked up to the Sixth Floor with her backpack and borrowed instruments from Professor Roslund's office. She stopped at her tracks when she arrived in front of a large window on the wall, a large part of the hogwarts grounds could be view from behind it.
Earlier that evening during dinner at Great Hall, she already asked Kurumi if it was alright with her that they do the second part of their homework there and she agreed. Now, Beezus' problem was that she did not very well understood the steps on how to use the nocturnal instrument as she read some books about it at the library that afternoon. That was why she had her backpack with her, full of books about the nocturnal. If the Prefect still haven't figured out how to use the said instrument then maybe they could use the books she brought to study how.
She sat at the small bench next to the window and took out one of the books. She'd try reading more as she wait for the lioness.
