"I signed up for quidditch! I signed to be a seeker!" Pam was so excited. She almost did it last year, but she chickened out. "I'm so excited!" she hoped she got in. She didn't know when tryout were, but she practiced whenever she could thi summer. She just wanted to bea seeker. It was her secret dream.

How many times was she just going to wander the sixth floor? Jezzabelle looked out a window and sighed. All she needed was just a break. A five minute break. Not from people but from classes. A chance to just relax.

Woweeeey, these shoes were really starting to rub now then! Man, what the hell where they, feet munchers?! She looked down at her feet and could practically see the swelling through her leather shoes. She shook her head and gave an audible huff. She looked around. Goooooooosh, where the heck was she?!.Turning on her throbbing heal she turned to walk the way she'd came.

Alexanda was starting her new term as her parents had decided it was time to introduce her to the school of Magic, and release her from the grips of muggle-life. Since she was 4, she had attended muggle-based educational schools. But being the magical and clearly gifted indiviual she was, her parents thought it time for her to decide. So this was it, the choice she had made, and by now she was greatful. Freedom of the use of magic, still having its limitations of course, but she was able to use magic without the risk of exposing the ancient myth that surrounded her try identity. If she had told her friends that she was a Witch, one that could move objects now, at least, with her eyes, they woyuld have fell about the floor in hysterics. Good job she didnt do that.

Alex had had a pretty normal unbringing, despite her condition as her aunty Bella called it. Numerous times Lex has stated, "Its fine to call me a witch Bell, 'cos its what I am?". But no, it was a condition. She, at the rip age of 15, almost 16, had mastered her powers from a small age, so there was no really true risk, but still, it was time to mix and develop with those of your own type. So here she was, pacing up and down, lost on heavens-knows what floor!

Anakin had decided all of the good, exciting things in his life happened at random corridors, or at Diagon Alley. Considering Diagon Alley was too far out of his reach at this particular moment, he was going to wander the corridors, because honestly he'd felt like he was a bit of rut. Well, his life was anyways. Now that tryouts were over, and his friends were busy with their studies, he didn't quite know what to do with himself.

It was times like this, he missed being back at Ireland with his Da. Playing quidditch out at the back pitch, or attempting to play a muggle video game inside the house together. It made him feel a little nostalgic, which in turn distracted the 7th year to the point of missing the last step to come upon the long span of the corridor.

Of course that's when he tripped and sprawled out all across the floor, his homework bag spilling the contents all along the floor. "Oh bloody hell." He glanced up and saw a figure a little farther in, and turned a slight shade of red. Blushing a little bit, and scurrying to pick up his items. "Oh, er, uh sorry."

Before she knew it,a rackett brought her out of her little lapsy of reality. She focused on the heap of a person just crumpled on the floor. With an instant she was running over to see if she could assist. She had seen the figure hit the deck like a sac of tatoes.

She looked at him and half smiled.He was apologising, with that very recognisable mouth,and eyes.. come to look at it.. his face was one that you just instantly recognised, despite probably never seeing this being ever before. She had to mentally tell herself to stop frowning, 'cos she could feel her brows knitt together.

"Geeez, you alright? Kinda took a nose dive there huh.."She smiled a lopsided smile which looked sympathetic on his behalf. She helped pick up the material scattered across the cold ground. She smiled and took a quick glance. Hmmm.. clever cloggs here.She smiled and offered her hand in his direction, she reached for her glasses which were perched on top of her head tucked behind her hair, before they fell out.

"You alright?"

Despite his small little apology, Anakin was really half hoping the other person in the corridor wouldn't have noticed his little blunder. But seeing as how he himself basically drew attention to it, that was out of the question. Chuckling nervously and pushing himself up to grab his bag and shove what he'd collected in, before glancing towards her. "Yeah, I'm alright. Perhaps my pride is a little bruised, but it'll heal."

Ani knew the best way for him to not feel so overly awkward was to laugh at himself, so he did when she commented on the nose dive. "Perhaps I should take it to the Headmaster about how thinking can actually prove fatal to our health." Or just faces.

Taking the outstretched hand to help himself up, Anakin once again nodded at her question on his health. "I really am fine, thanks for stopping to help." He held out his bag a little for the items she'd kindly collected, before thinking to properly introduce himself.

"Thanks again, I'm Anakin Amstern. Clumsy Hufflepuff."

Understanding that this poor lad's pride was probably more than just bruised, it was probably bloody too.She supressed a laugh when he mentioned the comment to the headmaster. She nodded,"Now, that is something that I agree with, dont worry, the amount of lamp posts.. doors.. just unwelcoming object,Ive walked into in my years, well there reaching the triple figures I would think by now"she said attempting to help heal the pride. She shook her head, and then looked at the floor.

How the heck did he actually fall? She decided not to press the matter further. She had DEFINATELY recognised this lad, and it was on the verge of causing a her to ask him where on earth she had seen him before. She smiled and nodded and then accepted the introduction."Nice to meet you Anakin,Im Alexanda, or Alex, or whatever, its cool"she said with an easy going shrug. She looked down the corridor, it seem to just be those two wondering aimlessly. Now she wondered whether she was keeping in from being somewhere,"You gotta be somewhere? Or just aimlessly wondering like I?"she inquired.

Ani could recognize the effort on her part to not say anything to intensify his embarasment or harm his male ego anymore so then it had already been, and he truly appreciated the fact. Giving a slight chuckle at her comment, obviously spoken to try and repair his pride which already he was feeling near over it, before replying. "I can understand that. You think that people would believe obviously those seen as inanimate aren't as much so as we think. I personally believe they have their own magical qualities to move into an unsuspecting persons way."

Feeling perhaps that maybe he should give a reasoning for his fall, Anakin pointed towards the end of the corridor to the now empty slot where the staircase had been previously. "Tripped over the edge." She hadn't asked, but it made him feel slightly better.

"It's nice to meet you, as well, Alexandra." Despite the rather odd way. "It's always nice to meet a fellow peer." Heavens new there were too many of them at the school to keep track of, anyways. Be somewhere? "No, no, definitely the latter. I was kind of hoping walk around enough, and I'd stumble upon something exciting." The young man chuckled again, winking teasingly. "No pun intended."

Gustav was munching on pumpkin pasty again as he went up the stairs. He had lost his ear stud somewhere and came up to look for it. It must had fell off along his way out of transfiguration room the day before. He had his wand so he could call upon his ear stud. He paused when he noticed Jezz at the corner by the window.
"Oh...ello Jezzabelle...what are you doing here?"he asked as he approached her and smiled.

Jezz turned and looked at the pumpkin pasty in Gustav's hand and shook her head. "Hey Gustav." She smiled, "Well my common room isn't too far from here and I just needed a break. There's only so much school work my mind can take." She titled her head to one side and stared at him, "What are you doing up here?" Wasn't the Hufflepuff common room down by the kitchens?

Gustav eyes widened, he didn't know Gryffindor common room was near the area since he was new there.
"Oh..I didn't know that...I came here because it is the way where the transfiguration class is...or I think it is..."he said,scratching his head with his wand. He didn't really pay much attention in his sense of direction nowadays.
He looked around the area,he wondered if he had gone the wrong way.
"Umm...I lost my ear stud,"he said pointed at his left ear."I thought it must have fell off along the way in the hallways that leads to transfiguration classroom...but I know its here somewhere...and now I'm kind of lost..."he said, looking rather confused.

Jezz laughed, "Yeah the Transfiguration class it on this floor." She looked at his left ear. "I didn't even notice that it was pierced." Wow she was really going to need to be more observant when it came to people. "Well why don't you try summoning it? And be a little more careful with how you use your wand." he could singe his hair off or something if he wasn't careful...or maybe something worse.

She smiled it him,he seemed sweet, and seemed to be recovering his male ego. She looked her her fingers and almost cursed allowed. She must look a mess, she had no plan to meet new friends or come across a rather attractive male. SHe could feel her cheekys heat as she thoght of how she looked to him.She brushed her blonde lock that had come loose from her hair pony and pushed it and tucked it behind her ear. She smiled at him and shrugged,"Maybe you have just uncovered the true reason why objects attack and harm us, they have there own magical abilities, makes so much more sence now!"she said giggling along in her own girly little way.

She glanced to where he had motioned and nodded as if she understood that was what had causes his minor embarrising moment. She smiled and shook her head,"Should totally get that seen too,could be fatal next time"she grinned,slightly teasing the poor boy.

She couldnt hold her blush in, and her cheeks flared a light shade of crimson.She nodded and shrugged,"Well you and me both then, you know I truely havent seen all of this castle, and I guess this is the reason why Im kinda lost, and no knowing where I am. Direction was never a strong point"she huffed,placing her hands on her hips and looking around."Maybe you could show me?.. If you wouldnt mind, no affence taken if you dont"she said adding, trying to let the boy know if he didnt want to, she wasnt going to physically force him. He'd experienced enough excitement for one she was sure.

Gustav grinned and looked at his wand..."Oops.."he muttered.He really need to be careful, what was wrong with him nowadays. He seemed to be caught unawares a lot lately.
"Oh...I didn't wear it when we first met...but there is an invisibility charm on it...so I wouldn't be caught wearing it but its only temporary..."he told her.
"I am trying my best to summon it but I needed to be close or all sorts of things come flying towards me..like a pair of girl's earrings or a broken key chain.."he added and laughed.
"Would you mind helping me? I am sure it is around here somewhere...it will make a light ringing sound when I am near it...it looks like a silver black Squared stone with my initials on it...."he said as he summoned his ear stud but to no avail. He must be looking at the wrong place but he was sure it was here.

Jezz laughed, "Yeah we wouldn't want some girls earrings coming to us." She shrugged, "Sure why not. How hard could it be?" Well she found out that answer as she began to look all along the corridor. She listened closely hoping to hear a ringing indicating that he was near it but she heard nothing.

Sigh. Pulling wand out of the ankle holster that she kept it in, she said, "Accio Gustav's magical ringing earring." She held her hand open and waited for something to land there. You can't muck things up if you add a name right? And how many Gustav's could there be in the castle with a magical ringing earring? A few more seconds and there it was in the palm of her hand. As she moved closer to him, she could hear the ringing her had mentioned.

"Specifics," she said handing it to him. "They always clear things up and make things easier."

Anakin hadn't lost his observance when it came to other people, it hadn't even been a year yet, how COULD he have forgotten years of training himself to notice facial expressions and such? He noticed the sudden slight tinge to her cheeks, but he didn't say anything. Merlin, Ani didn't even know where it could have come from, perhaps she was just feeling rather heated suddenly? The temperature COULD be pretty hot sometimes within the school, especially in certain parts of the castle. Chuckling at her going along with his silly nonsense, Anakin grinned. "I must have! What to you think? Big enough for me to make the next history books?"

He noticed the teasing, but laughed good naturedly anyways and nodded, glancing back as well. "Maybe I should...Another subject to open up with the Headmaster, we don't want another poor bloke to make the same mistake."

Hadn't seen all the castle? Thinking about it, and glancing at the surroundings from where they were standing, Anakin gave a nod in agreement. "Honestly? You know, I don't think I've seen everything either." He turned his attention to her again and gave another smile, before nodding at her request. Showing her around he could do, for sure. "It'd be my pleasure, so long as you don't mind the help of an amateur on Hogwarts." Amazing to think after 3 years he still didn't know much on the school. "Anywhere in particular you are wanting to see?"

After the heat from her cheeks had gone down significantly, she smiled with ease and nodded with a chuckle. "I would definately put money on that."she giggled and sighed."I can honestly say, this is nothing like my old school, infact its on the completely different end of the scale."she said as she traced the wall with her hand. She hadnt seen a castle built like this since she'd attended the history trip back when she was eleven to warrick Castle.

She shooked her head and placed an arm briefly on his giving it a squeeze,"I think it would be best .. seeing as your qualified in the.. accident department"she winked,and dropped the tease seeing as the poor lad had endured enough for one day.

She looked a little shocked, though she was not all the surprised, she knew how big the castle was, just from the outside it was enormous so she could only guess that one could no know the castle all that well with the scale of the building. She smiled and nodded, feeling happy she had found someone who was willing to give her the time of day to show her her new settings. "You know, I am not that bothered, the company is enough, so you may take me anywhere"she said nodding and shrugging at the same time."What year did you say you were in sorry?"the boy looked older than her that was for sure, but still had the baby features.

Anakin just grinned, before tilting his head to the side when she sighed and spoke of her old school. "It isn't? Where did you go to school before coming here to Hogwarts?" He was going to make the assumption that this was her first year at Hogwarts, that she had transferred, based on the way she was speaking. He, himself, really had nothing to compare Hogwarts too. Having been taught by his Da for most of his life.

Accident department? Anakin fully laughed aloud when she spoke, nodding. "Maybe I'm even qualified enough to take it to the ministry after school!" Wasn't there an Accidents and Catastophes department? "Although, I'd probably be the one causing the accidents." Ani chuckled again.

Spotting the shocked look, An brought his hand up to muss his hair a little. "I, er, didn't leave my dorm a lot the last few years." And whenever he had, he seemed to migrate to corridors. Not large amounts of people in corridors usually, except during class time obviously. "Well, alright then! Exploring we shall go!" There must be plenty of places in the castle to show her that he knew of. Places An could discover as well, that'd be fun, right? What year? He hoped he could keep the disappointment from showing through his response. "I'm a 7th year. What about you?" She looked perhaps to be a little younger, but possibly not by much.

She loooked at him and couldnt hold in the sigh.She shrugged and looked back to his face,"I lived in Devon, and I went to a muggle school, which was something not in my choice entirely. My parents decided they wanted to start their own resturant and all sorts so they wanted me to stay, I dont think I was ready in all honesty,both of my parents are muggleborn. So was a bit of a surprise when I could move things with my mind. Not something you can usually do in everyday life."she laughed and then wrinkled her nose."Then I decided it was time to face the music and attend a school where I could practise my "gift"".She smiled and looked at him."Parents arent all that pleased, but they got used to the idea that I wasnt the average 15 year old girl".

She laughed, a girly and humoured laugh.She shook her head and smiled,"I think you would be a very good employee".She giggled more.

She nodded and then looked at him."I guess that you didnt seemed to fussed about getting out and about. In all honesty I think Im pretty much the same. I can be with a large croud of people, but Im just as happy on my own in my own company.Though I do prefer someone to talk to which is why I am highly grateful to have a willing tour guide!!" She smiled.
She nodded to the boy,"I see,Im in my 5th year, only just,Im 16 soon, so I must have just missed the year above." She realised she had spent her whole time rambling. She looked and him and placed a hand on her chest,"Im sorry,I have a habit to ramble people to death. Please feel free to take the reins,and tell me to shut up and enjoy the schools view." she giglgled.

Anakin really wasn't all meaning to space out during her explanation which he'd ASKED for, but once he'd heard the name "Devon", his mind was in the years past. Summers spent up until he was 10, staying with his Uncle and his cousins. He'd spent so many years in the countryside there. "You lived in Devon? I used to spend most of my summers out there with my family." Mainly he went with his Mum, which was odd since it was his Da's brother they stayed with. "My Uncle Eamonn lives out in that area. I remember each summer, my last one when I was 10," which...he really didn't want to think about. Not that last visit. "My cousin and I used to play with all the neighborhood kids a lot. There was one girl I was particularly close to..." If he could only remember her name, that had been so long ago.

"I dunno, my experience I might be able to even reach Minister with that type of talent."

Wasn't fussed about getting out? Not at all. "No, I had certain...circumstances keeping me from doing so." No longer did he have that barrier hanging over his head though. That was a nice thing. "I'm certainly glad to BE a tour guide. The company is definitely nice." He wasn't a loner by nature, it just always ended up as so. "Sounds like a your a go with the flow type of girl?" Which wasn't at all a bad thing! Just missed it? "I think you'll enjoy having that extra year after you adjust to Hogwarts. It really is a home here." He was going to miss it, a lot. Shut her up? Ani chuckled, shaking his head, "Not at all! I'm glad for the conversation!" He wasn't a fan of silences, ironic as it was.

"I'm sorry, I got distracted at the mention of Devon when you were talking about your school. So you are a muggleborn? And your parents wanted you to study their familiars instead?" That was an understandable reaction, Ani thought.

Adam was on his way back to the Gryffindor Common Room, looking at the letter that he'd gotten back from his grandfather as he walked. He was about to continue through the corridor when he stopped, hearing a rather loud thwack on the wall next to him. Jumping slightly Adam turned to look to try and locate the source when he spotted a rather small owl on the ground, flat on its back, and looking up at him. What the...

Adam was walking around the corridors an he turned the sixth floor corridor. Ah, almost to the Gryffindor Common Room, just one more floor to go. But, when he did turn the corner of the floor he spotted something slightly motionless on the floor. "What in the world?" He breathed out. First of all, what would an owl being doing in the corridor rather than the owlery or the great hall. Then he looked up an spotted his fellow Gryffindor. "Did you see this happen?" There wasn't going to be any blame put on Adam, he would never hurt anyone nor an animal.

Adam looked up at the sound of footsteps approaching, imagining the worst on how this might look to someone who didn't know him, when his twin Adam came around the corner. "No...I have no idea. I was just walking along, reading a letter from my grandfather when I heard a loud thwack," Adam said, replicating the noise by smacking a fist into his palm, before continuing. "When I looked around the figure out what had made the noise I saw the owl, just...well...doing what he's doing now," Adam said, scratching the top of his head somewhat nervously. "Do you think he's alright?"

He didn't know what to do. Just because Adam had a cat didn't mean he knew how to handle all types of animals in danger. Adam grabbed his forehead an began to pace back an forward, back an forward. "At least you're innocent." he wouldn't have wanted to say anything. Honestly, why would someone want to abuse an animal. "My god! I don't know what to do...I...What do we do?" With all his flustering about Adam forget his twin had been there an had been talking more to himself. He bent down to try an pick it up but the wings flapped with little energy. What if he did grab the owl an it began to flap dangerously near his face...Or if he hurt the claws worse or something. "Have any ideas?" he asked in a cracking voice.

The moment that Adam started pacing, Adam realized that things did in fact look at bad as he had thought that they would. When his twin mentioned him being innocent Adam felt himself release a breath that he hadn't even realized that he had been holding. As he began to spit questions out, Adam had the instinctive feeling that he was talking to himself more than to him, so he chose to bend down next to the bird. "Maybe it just knocked itself out, you know? Due to the force of the...uh...collision and all?" Adam offered. Adam watched as Adam attempted to pick up the owl, its wings waving rather feebly at the gesture. When Adam asked him if he had any ideas he let out a little breath.

"Well, it didn't cry out in pain, which is a good sign right? I mean if something was broken it definitely would have cried out, so maybe it's just a little out of sorts." Adam was reaching and he knew it. Clearly no one, animal or person, could ram into a wall with such force that it would cause that loud of a noise, and not be hurt. "Maybe we should try and sit it up?" With a slightly nervous gesture Adam gently tucked his hands under the little owl, supporting it fully as it held it upwards. At the gesture the bird's eye opened, slowly, but they opened, surveying the two of them in a groggy manner.

"Oh thank god it's alive," Adam said, letting out a small sigh.
