The old Divination tower, which has recently lay bare, and unused, is today open again for business. The empty classroom has been opened, dusted, cleaned, and is now welcome for the students to come along. The desks have been laid out in an unusual pattern, in a large semi-circle, facing the front, allowing for demonstrations to occur in the middle.
The visiting speaker, Vanessa Paton Healer Intern, is sitting at the front, next to a couple of boxes of equipment, awaiting the arrival of the students. She is very excited about teaching the students, as the topic is a favourite of yours. Behind her, is a blackboard with some instructions charmed on.

Welcome. Please take a seat. On the desk you’ll find a piece of parchment. Please write your name ,house, and year on it. I hope you enjoy the lesson
[[Ooc: Hey Guys! We’re gonna officially start in a couple of hours, probably around 3PM gmt. Make sure you follow the rules we don’t want you losing any points!!]]
Sophie looked around the room to see if anyone was available to partner with her. "Does anyone need a partner?""I do!" she thought to herself and grinned.

Ella smiled at Sophie. "I do! I'll be your partner!"
hmm it looked like somebody had already snagged up the boy that she asked to be partners with, but she noticed another girl also from her house asking for a partner so she walked up to her. "Hey I need a partner...wanna team up?" She hoped she would agree. She didn't want to have to circle the class a million times.
Isabelle smiled as a younger girl walked up to her. "Course darling," she said with a smile going into full healer mode on the girl. "Now would you like to be hurt first or would you like to be the healer first?" she asked. Either way Izzy would still be able to show off her healing skills.
"Inurio Bani," she said as she swooped her wand in front of her and bandages came tumbling out. "Here's some bandages in case you aren't good at the spell, but feel free to try." Isabelle said as she folded them neatly and put them in a pile next to her. Neat and perfect, that was how Healer Dupont rolled, rather than crazy Izzy.
Awww, this boy seemed so shy. It was adorable. "Nice to meet you, Lewis. I'm Amelia." Maybe she could get him talking to her a little if they were going to be working together.
She nodded when he asked her if she was good with makeup. "I think I can make it look realistic."
See, there, all Hufflepuffs were nice. At least this one was. Heh."Nice to meet you too, Amelia." And it actually WAS too. He had found a nice-enough partner. Yay!
And double-yay! Amelia even knew how to work with the make-up. "Good. Should I...like, get the make-up and you get the gloves?" Lewis suggested softly, nodding towards the front of the room where Mrs. Paton was standing.

Whew she was glad that she finally had a partner. She was a little intimidated not that she would ever admit that. "I'll think I'll be hurt first to watch you." She grabbed some of the fake blood that the healer had used earlier and applied a good amount to her arm. "There how's that?" She hoped the older girl would take charge...she still couldn't believe she had gotten the nerve to ask an older student to partner up.

Louisa, being a fifth year, would manage to do one after she'd practiced a bit.
"How about you sit down and let me patch you up first? And then it'll be my turn?" Louisa kept her smile on.
Lily smiled when Louisa agreed to be her partner. "Oh, ok. It's probably a good idea for me not to do the spells until I have a bit more experience with magic." Lily looked up towards the front of the room to where the materials were before hearing Louisa ask a question. "Sure, you can patch me up first. That way I'll know kinda what to do when I patch you up." Lily replied looking at the fifth year as she sat down. "What do we have to do first?" Lily asked the older Ravenclaw.

Kurumi stared blankly as further explanation was given about what to do, trying her best not to actually look at the scene in front of her but instead down at her parchment as she pretended to write down notes. She was going to need another way to think about this lesson if she was going to get anywhere near close enough to actually doing this practical. Truth be told, if Kurumi found a friend with a deep gash out of them, splinching perhaps, the first thing that would come to her mind would be to get an actual Healer. Still, there were sure to be situations where she would have to take charge and do it herself...
Why couldn't this be a healing seminar on animals? Kurumi would be able to deal with that. Reenacting a situation with another person was an entirely different situation.
Still a little green in the face, Kurumi looked around for someone willing to pair up with her.

Kurumi didn't make any move to respond to his gentle touch on her shoulder which was fine with Gideon. Just letting her know he was attentive was enough for him. He had to admit seeing Selina bloody wasn't the nicest thing to see for him either but his composure remained stable being brave having seen worse.
Gideon listened as the healer continued to talk before telling them to break off into partners for the practacle portion of the seminar. With that being said, he decided to get up as others did as well and actually be closer to his fellow Gryffindor. And it was in that moments that Kurumi turned around and he bit her lip seeing how ill she looked. "Hey....ye ok?" he asked a little concerned. "Would ye like to be partners Kurumi?" he asked with a tilt of his head. Inwardly he was willing to do what was needed in case she wanted more to watch from sidelines.

Offering the little girl another smile, she added, "Well, you can lift your sleeve up for me while I get some makeup from the...lady." Getting up from the chair, Louisa headed to the material table. "Here are the kit." Louisa sat back down and held out the small stick that had fake blood on it, "I'll paint some on your arm." She waited for Lily to expose her arm for Louisa.

It was only NOW that Kurumi realized that Gideon had his hand on her shoulder. Where had that come from? Well, she knew where...because it was attached to Gideon's body. So, the better question was when. Kurumi nodded her head slowly up and down. "Alright as I can be," she murmured back. Kurumi never realized how squimish she was around this sort of thing. She had done some simple Magizoology over the summer...but this was all overwhelming. "Just wishing we were learning how to take the sting out of paper cuts instead of someone who is on the verge of bleeding to death in the corridors."
Her eyes DID light up a bit when he asked about being partners. Good. Next to Selina and Jonathan, Kurumi wasn't afraid of making an idiot of herself in front of Gideon either. "As long as you promise not to freak out if I faint," she replied, trying her best to laugh at the thought. Too bad she very well might. "So...um...I guess first we have to...um...give each other wounds..." Or, could they just pretend that they had and go through the motions of bandaging someone up without the fake blood? Kurumi was far too ashamed of her squmishness to ask.

At least Kurumi responded this time showing she wasn't shocked or worried into silence of which Gideon was thankful. He watched her give a slow nod as he moved his hand and gave a simple nod himself at what she said. The boy understanding that she might be tentative or unsure of how she was and just dealing at the moment. Just barely hearing her quieter words, his thoughts on why she looked ill were confirmed.
The blood, even fake, was the issue.
And then she seemed to relax when he suggested they could be partners, Gideon smiling a hopefully encouraging smile at his friend. "Aye..I promise," he assured her. Be concerned...yes...but not freak. Selina would probably be the one who reacted that way but the 5th year boy wasn't going to mention that possibility. And they did after all have two healers in the room to check her over should anything indeed happen so that was a plus and proof of less to worry about. "I guess we do. Would ye be more comfortable with me working on ye so if it gets too much ye can not pay attention...maybe close yer eyes if it gets bad?" He could manage it if she wanted it and he doubted the woman leading would make her do anything she wasn't comfortable with.
Minerva smiled. "So do you want to bandage me first or should I bandage you?" she wondered if they should do the glove spell first or wait until they practice putting bandages on each other.
" How about you bandage me first. that way I can see how you do it. " Justin answered unsure of himself.

When Louisa returned, Lily smiled at the elder Ravenclaw. "Ok, go ahead." Lily said moving her arm so that Louisa could do her work. Lily looked around at the others who were practicing. "This is good practice for after we get out of school." mumbled Lily while waiting for Louisa to begin with the first aid stuff.

Ella smiled at Sophie. "I do! I'll be your partner!"
Sophie turned her head to face Ella. "Cool! Let's get to work then!" she said smiling at her friend. "I'll go get the stuff we need!" She then got up and went to where the gloves and make up thingies were and took what they would need to work for now. She thought it would be best if she just got the gloves the healer offered. If she ever spoiled them in any way, she would try to conjure some.
"I'll start with your fake wound, okay?" Sophie asked already working on Ella's arm. She loved doing this kind of... mess. Heh! She put fake blood on the girl's arm and made a disgusted face. "Eek! It does look like real blood!"

She certainly wasn't Lafay.
Good. Gideon not freaking out would certainly make all this much easier. Him not freaking out would mean that she wouldn't have to freak out - which would be very difficult to do considering she would be passed out...but that was besides the point. Kurumi nodded some more and then removed her wand from her pocket. Who was she kidding, she couldn't concentrate enough right now to perform any sort of spell. "I'll...be right back," she murmured. Even if she was going to be the victim, she wanted some gloves on.
After retrieving her gloves and putting them on in a similar manner as had been demonstrated by the Healer intern and walked back over to where she had left Gideon. Had they been told where the injury had to be? Kurumi would prefer it be somewhere not in the middle of her chest where she could easily look down. Kurumi removed her cloak and set it on her chair. "Right...so...my arm alright? I can...sort of look away that way." She stuck out her left arm for Gideon to play mad scientist on before attempting to fix her.
Oh the irony!!

Violet looked around the room, hoping there would be a person who was willing to partner up with her.
Ira literally dreaded this practical part of the seminar. No, she really didn't want to have to do anything related to the blood and wounds and all! But she had to. So she looked around for a partner.
And then she saw a girl too looking around. So Ira approached her and asked, "Hi! Can we be partners?"

Ella watched as Sophie went up to get the items they would need. She thought it was a good choice to use the gloves provided as conjuring things could be tricky sometimes.
Ella smiled as Sophie returned. She looked down at her arm and nodded, ready to be a patient. "Sure, make sure it's good and bloody!" Looking down at the makeup, Ella could see why Sophie was disgusted. "Oh merlin, you're right! This stuff is gross!" She couldn't help but feel revolted. She wasn't sure she would ever want to be near someone with a wound this bad. Good thing hers was fake!
"That looks real, Sophie!" Then, in a quiet dramatic voice, she feigned an injury. "Oh please, help me miss! I'm bleeding and I need some help!"
Kennedy clapped after the demonstration was done. That seemed really simple to do. He payed close attention to what the nurse lady was doing and made mental notes of the important things she was saying. That's when he remembered of the small pocket size notebook he carried around with him. He took it out and scribbled small notes on it.
Now, for the hard part. Finding a partner. "Anyone need a partner?" he called.

When Sophie was done making the fake wound on Ella's arm, she stared at it for a few seconds. "Gross!" she said half disgusted, half smiling. She looked up at her friend. "I'm glad that's not real... you would be dying if it was!" Sophie giggled. She had put a lot of fake blood on the girl's arm.
She giggled again when Ella acted as if the wound was real. Time to get to real work! "I'll save you, ma'am!" Sophie looked around, kind of lost. What was she supposed to do now again? She frowned and glanced at the other students.
Oh, right! Gloves! Sophie was about to grab two gloves, but stopped before doing so. She just remembered she could touch their outside! How was she to put these things on again?? She stared at the floor, thinking hard, trying to remember what the healer told them. Cuff things! Right. Sophie concentrated and started putting on the gloves reeeeally slowly. "GOSH, this is difficult!" she thought, sticking her tongue out and feeling the sweat coming down her forehead.
Violet saw a girl older than her approach her. "Um..ok then. Sorry, but what are we supposed to do?" she whispered. "I hadn't been exactly paying attention during the teacher's instructions"
"Hey Violet, thats a nice name! And as for what we have to do, its easy" But disgusting as well. Anyways, Ira! leave that topic and concentrate!
"All we have to do is fake a wound on our hand or something and thencure it.. I mean, we have to apply some paint." And then make a mess of it! That was what they had to do right? Well, they could always see what others were doing and then copy them.
"So Violet, would you like the fake wound first and I get to bandage it or vice versa?" Ira asked the girl.

Sophie was right, Ella would be dying if the wound was real! The amount of blood on her arm was horrifying and Ella would be glad when it was bandaged, fake blood or not.
Ella was happy to see that Sophie was playing along. She smiled encouragingly at her as she tried to put on the gloves. "Don't worry Soph, I have to do it after you and I'm sure I'll have trouble too!" Ella started to stumble a bit and looking at Sophie in a pained way said, "I'm starting to feel faint, what do I do?"
