Still with her arm wrapped around Daichi's and a niffler on each shoulder, Kurumi approached Emrys' with a look of sheer determination on her face. The hair would be the deciding factor. If the Ravenclaw's hair was softer and more touchable, then she would latch herself onto his arm. If not, well, Daichi was going back to that corner to look at the invisible rubber ducks that were there.

"SURE!" she chirped. Wait, no, not sure YET! She had to test his hair...it just looked soooooo touchable right now. So, with her left arm still wrapped around Daichi's, the Gryffindor took a step forward and reached out to brush some of Emrys' hair out of his face.

Oh no...no no no no no...it was all WROOOOOOONG!

Kurumi jumped backwards and latched herself onto Daichi even more fiercely this time, the niffler still scurrying around her feet and trying to climb into the pocket of her robe.

"Emrys'....I can't...your hair..." she said, taking overly dramatic pauses between each word. "Daichi's hair is just so..." And she didn't finish that thought and instead began to ruffle it with her fingers, giggling while she did so.

This was the weirdest class. EVER.

Attraction charm? She was never going to use that charm in her life..unless she attracted boys but she didn't need a charm for that..did she? Smirk.

Back to practicing the spell. "Coh-LEE-wee-meh Nn-BEE-my-low" Evelyn muttered. She said that a few times aloud until she got it right. The girl jotted down the spell before she walked over to Poppy's table and placed the shiny object on the desk.

"Hey. Hey, wait a minute." Evelyn said, when she noticed the niffler walking towards the table. She quickly removed her wand from her pocket and pointed it at the creature. "Finite Incantatem." Evelyn muttered. o_O The niffler suddenly turned and stared at her. Um.

Okay. Now, she pointed her wand at herself and took a deep breath. "Coliuime Anbemailo." Evelyn said, clearly. She frowned. She didn't feel...different. Was that supposed to happen or...? Sigh. This was starting to get...wait. Oh.

She watched as the niffler slowly...very slowly started to walk towards her.

Emrys' face broke into a grin as Kurumi agreed and then reached out to brush his hair. His stomach fluttered and he was about to reach for her hand and pull her away when she recoiled.

Confusion washed across his face. "M-my.. hair?" He searched her face as he frowned. "I.. I.. I can change it!"

The niffler at his ankles was continuing to circle and he bent down and picked it up, stroking it like a house cat as he cradled it in his arms.

"Or.. or.." his mind raced as he held the creature in his arms. "Or you can have my niffler! You can win the class if I give you my nifflers. Just. just..."

He bit his bottom lip. "pick me."

Alyssa waited with her Niffler as the other Niffler finally reached her. She reached out to pet it."Hello there. Welcome and say hi to your fellow Niffler friend over here." Alyssa smiled at the second Niffler as she reached out and petted both Nifflers standing in front of her.

Alyssa stood up and looked around. There weren't that many Nifflers left to attract but she decided to try anyway. Pointing the wand at herself she said,"Coh-LEE-wee-meh Nn-BEE-my-low" and waited to see which Niffler she would end up attracting.

As she waited she saw a Niffler walking towards Kurumi. She yelled over to it to attract it's attention."Hey there yes you why don't you come over here and join your buddies. They are really friendly and miss you" Alyssa called out to it as it turned it's head and then started walking towards her. "Yes that's it come over here." Alyssa called out as it came walking towards her

Oakey returned his bell to the table and cast finite at the lone Niffler he had befriended. He was about to cast the atraction charm on himself when he noticedthat his Niffler was no longer near him and was headed towards...Alyssa...who was just standing there beautifully. Her dark brown hair laying against her shoulders and her eyes, her brown eyes were enchanting. He just stood there and starred for a few seconds mouth wide open into her eyes. He had a small bit of drool drip from his mouth, he wiped it off and closed it quickly.

He looked down to the floor following her longer slender legs when he saw his Niffler and another getting closer to her. No way! Alyssa was his, no dirty Niffler was going to take her away from him. HEY! I saw her first! He shouted at the creatures. Darting over to Alyssa he stood between her and the Nifflers. Alyssa my love please you must choose me over those ridiculous vermin. He looked down once more and the nifflers were now going between his legs. He grasped Alyssa's hands into his and held them out in front of him and her. Darling, you know I can provide for you more than them.referring to the Nifflers now inches away from Alyssa, his one true love. I know of this beautiful cottage home in America where we can grow old together.

Alyssa smiled when the Niffler Kurumi was trying to attract climbed out of her pocket and came walking towards her. "Hi there you cutie. You've come to join your friends haven't you." Alyssa smiled to it petting the Niffler on the head. "You can come and join the others here. Have fun playing with them." She pulled out her wand to cast the Attraction Charm again when someone grabbed her hand. She turned around to see that it was OAKEY!!.."Oh no...the Attraction charm attracted you too?"

Alyssa didn't know what to do. Oakey was calling her Darling and asking her to run away with him back to America. He wanted her to grow old with him?? She was only 14!! Alyssa looked around for help, while trying to pull her hands away from Oakey. "Uh....the Nifflers can never come between you and me. We will always be friends."Alyssa tried to comfort him. What else could she say. She already had a boyfriend.

Yes, no Niffler could ever keep them apart. Oakey bent to his down onto one knee and was ready to propose when he saw it in her pocket, a Niffler! You! he exclaimed. You heard what my darling said! Begone with you! But the Niffler would not leave. I'll just have to out woe the vermin then. Oakey took his wand and cast Orchideous still on his one knee he passed the beautiful bouquet of flowers to his beloved. Alyssa my love, come now. Let us elope to America.

Ella was currently sitting on the floor of the classroom with her two nifflers just sniffing around her happily. She quite enjoyed the confessions of love that were currently going on around her-well except the one where she had clung to a boy she hadn't even met...yeah not that one. She couldn't stop the loud laugh that escaped her when she heard Oakey ask Alyssa to elope with him to America. That was priceless. She returned her attention to the little nifflers by her side. "Hey little guys, getting along now are we? That's right, I can pet you both!" And she did, patting both nifflers gently on their heads.

Daichi was still confusedly blushing as Kurumi played with his hair when an boy around his age walked up to them. Obviously, he did not like it that he and kurumi were *together* and even waved his fist at him!

"I-i-i didn't mean to!" he stuttered as he held his arms in midair. He looked at Kurumi for help because he was bad at these fighting things when....

SLAP!

Wait , what? KURUMI SLAPPED HIM?!

What was going on?! He had NEVER seen her acting like that before. Was that spell they were using that powerful? It was scary and the Slytherin did a step back and away from Kurumi because he was scared to get slapped as well.

He jumped when she did grabbed his arm and he was now dragged across the room. Did she really have a duck collection? Or was it just the spell talking? Buuut...what if she DID have duckies?! O_o he would miss his oppertunity so talk to a fellow duck lover!

He had heard her mention something about a corner and as he was dragged he frowned when she suddenly changed direction. One of the Nifflers seemed to follow him as he was being dragged. Until she stood in front of a Ravenclaw boy and she was now touching his hair.

Had Kurumi a hair fetish?

And what was up with her holding his arm so tightly? It felt like she was trying to pop his arm off! "K-Kurumi, could you losen your grip ...m-my arm hurts" He said.

'Oh my, a bouquet of flowers, now and is he proposing?' Alyssa thought to herself. Oakey was truly attracted to her. She patted Oakey on the head like she did with her Nifflers. "Nice Oakey. Please leave my Nifflers alone. I can't leave now Oakey. I have to play in the Quidditch finals and finish out the term here all the way to 7th year."Alyssa was frantically coming up with reasons to keep Oakey happy and at the same time trying to remember what Madam Poppy had said about how to end a wrong attraction on humans. She just hoped that whatever it was, Oakey wouldn't remember what happened. She didn't want him to feel awkward around her. He was still one of her closest friends.

"Now that the nifflers have befriended you should be able to play with them safely even if you take their most prized possession from them. This is a very handy spell, and the more you practice the more powerful the effect of the charm will be, but remember: It is never permanent! Let's see... I think this would be a good time for us to move onto the next spell!" She moved towards the board and began to swish and swosh his wand as she spoke.

"This next one, will be the Attraction Charm. This is a little difficult to perform, so you are going to need to concentrate very hard! This Entrancement Enchantment is an Autogenous-Eros. You will cast it on yourself and it will cause others around you to become attracted to you. If your charmwork is sufficiently potent, it might even cause humans to develop a minor crush on you. The incantation is Coliuime Anbemailo, Coh-LEE-wee-meh Nn-BEE-my-low, and the wand movement is a simple point. In the Entrancing Enchantment world this charm is also known to as the Veela Charm, because it produces similar affects.

Now, you must all bring the shiny objects you have obtained from me and place them right here on my table. Next, you must cast Finite Incantatem on your niffler. Finally, cast the Attraction Charm on yourself and try to prevent the creature from coming to my table, where the shiny objects are. Got it? Oh, and if you happen to attract someone you really don't want to attract just slap them. Yes, slapping counters the Attraction Charm on humans. RULES
1. Bring all shiny objects to the table.
2. Cast Finite Incantatem on your niffler.
3. There are 10 nifflers total (not really a rule, but important)
4. To attract a niffler cast the Attraction Spell on yourself and RP interacting with the niffler in a post titled "Attracted Niffler #1" -- DO NOT WALK TO THE NIFFLER IT IS SUPPOSED TO WALK TO YOU!
5. To secure your niffler cast the Befriending Charm in a different post titled "Befriended Niffler #1" when the niffler is close to you.
6. To steal someone else's niffler you must attract them before they are befriended, after they are befriended you cannot steal them. Meaning, you only need two posts to get a niffler: One to attract, one to befriend.
7. You don't need to attract and befriend them in numerical order, but do pay attention to make sure you aren't attracting an already befriended niffler.

Delicious.... delicious piece of what? William found his face heating up at this woman's just BLATANT flirting, and wished more than ever that he could just turn into a diricrawl sometimes and disappear.

"I um, I'll just walk around the class and make sure the nifflers are behaving." William gave Poppy a curt nod and hurried off to the opposite side of the room, observing the lovestruck? students? more so than the nifflers. Hopefully his face was cooled down by now.

Glenn glanced around at all of the commotion. Jeepers. Who knew the attraction spell could cause so much carnage?

She giggled as the Kurumi/Daichi/August love triangle played out. She had been fighting them off, now it seemed Kurumi was... playing with Daichi's hair?

The badger flicked her hair away from her face and set about practising the spell. "Coliuime AnbemailoColiuime AnbemailoColiuime Anbemailo" She murmured until she was positive that she had gotten the pronunciation right. Glenn pointed her wand at herself and said, "Coliuime Anbemailo!" Nothing. No nifflers? She tried again, "Coliuime Anbemailo?"

Pffffft. So the niffler she had previously attracted was taken by that Hufflepuff girl. Good. As she looked around, Gwen realized there weren’t many creatures left. Although that would mean she will lose at this… game? Was it a game? … anyway- that she will most probably lose- the third year didn’t care. At least she didn’t do anything stupid. Yes. Or attract anyone. Or cause even more chaos. Mhmm… things were good they were right now. At least for Gwendolyn.

Walking around the room slowly, the young Ravenclaw glimpsed at the entranced creatures. How could have Williamson accepted to help that pink woman with this lesson? Seriously- a walk in the forbidden forest was--- well—forbidden- and entrancing animals wasn’t? Errr. She couldn’t understand this, but anyway- the thing she truly wanted to know right now was when this class will end.

As she walked around, still gazing at the entranced people, Gwen stumbled over something. Whoooooo- Oddly enough, the third year managed to keep her balance, something that happened quite rare in her case. Gaah. Stupid reflexes. Turning her head to see what it was, the girl realized it wasn’t a niffler, but someone’s shoe. ‘Umm- sorry’, the third year said curtly and walked as quick as possible away.

Daichi was still shocked about Kurumi's behaviour as she had just slapped August and was still holding his arm really tightly that it began to hurt. Wait a second.. slapping! Daichi's eyes looked at the blackboard that they were now standing close by and read that in order to break the spell they had to slap someone!

Looking away from the board towards Kurumi, he bit his lip. He could not slap her! He cared for her.. well, not in the way Kurumi seemed to care about him at the moment.

So instead of slapping her, he was trying to struggle out of her grip when something or someone suddenly tripped over his shoe. Eh oops? He turned his head to look and what he saw was not a girl. He saw an angel!

Daichi's eyes widened as he stared at the Ravenclaw girl.... Gwen wasn't it? Hadn't he worked with her in that first Seminar lesson? She had such smooth hands when she had bandaged his arm so lovingly. Why didn't he notice that before?

And her voice, her voice was like a song when she spoke and..oi..was she running away?

Forgetting he still had a clutching Kurumi on his arm , he dragged her away from that other boy with the weird hair because he HAD to follow this beauty. The Niffler he had befriended was walking beside him and out of the corner of his eye he saw that another Niffler was walking with him as well. He would befriend it later because right now, Gwen was more important. Everywhere he looked it seemed that the room was dull looking until his eyes landed on Gwen he saw a beautiful white light shining around her.

"Gwennie~"

Gwennie?! "Your beauty is NOTHING compared to all these people, you want to go and meet my family at the Duck pond?" Because ducks were still his family. He grabbed her hand and stared in to her beautiful eyes. "And see the sunset with me?"

As soon as she walked away, Gwendolyn thought she had handled the situation quite well. Not getting entranced was hard enough. Well… she had luck… but it counted as trying hard. She was walking away, quite relaxed. Humm… class should be over soon- AND I HAVEN’T DONE ANYTHING STUPID!!!! Psh. It was easy. Perhaps she didn’t even do the spell on herself right.

‘What--?’, she turned her head in time to see the Slyherin boy. Trying very hard not to roll her eyes, the third year looked at Daichi, waiting for him to say something. She really couldn’t predict what was going to happen. Errr. Seriously? Gwennie? Calling her that wasn’t a good start. ‘Hmm… did you say something?’, the Ravie said coldly. And she’ll understand what’s wrong in....

NOOOO!, she thought, still looking puzzled at Daichi. She couldn’t have stayed away from trouble. Seriously now- how am I supposed to handle this? Well, one thing was sure- she wouldn’t try being nice. Why? One- because she couldn’t and two- because talking to entranced people wasn’t a solution. Slapping was a variant, but she never was able to slap anyone. Well, she did, but the person couldn’t even feel anything.

Oh… and this is getting even better…, Gwendolyn thought and looked around, trying to pick a good direction for running away. Hmm. She could do that. Running WAS an option. Err… Considering the fact that she felt like cursing anyone who would start talking to her about love and yada yada yada even in a normal situation, the third year tried hard not to react like that now. Right. Just keep calm. Keep calm, she told herself. What… family? Ducks???? What is that all about???, the girl asked herself, holding back her laughter. MUST.NOT.LAUGH.

Umm. This situation started freaking her out. What in Merlin’s beard am I supposed to do???, she asked herself and glimpsed around, hoping that she will get some ideas. Well. She did have her wand. Now think…., the young Ravenclaw told herself. Jinxing probably isn’t the best option. What about levitating him? Hmmm.

Quidditch Finals and Schoolwork? My Dear, Alyssa we can work around these hindrances. That's right. He'll stay at home with the little ones while she competes in her Quidditch and finishes her school year. Oakey would drop out of Hogwarts and find a job to support the family.

He glared at the Niffler in her pocket then stuck his tongue out at it. To make it's defeat more painful. Oakey had one over Alyssa while the Niffler got nothing. All it got was pats on the head, he recieved that and more.

Now where was he...Oh right, he had to propose! Removing the rabbit's foot from around his neck he unfastened it and took the foot off of the metal loop it was hanging on. He held it up and starred at it showing it off to Alyssa a little before he said the life changing words.

Alyssa blushed when Oakey got down on his knees and made all those promises. She blushed even more when he removed the rabbit's foot from around is neck and showed it to her. 'Oh No!! Is he going to propose to me now?'Alyssa's eyes opened in surprise. 'Poor Oakey. I do hope he doesn't remember all that happened today. He would be so totally embarrassed...unless...no....he really....no...no...he can't be...we're just good friends,' Alyssa told herself trying to ignore the fact that she did like Oakey alot too.

"Yes, Oakey. Oh that's a very nice rabbit's foot you got there. You don't want to give that to me. That's your lucky charm. You need it more than I do."Alyssa told him as she patted him on the shoulder while at the same time remembering not to forget to pat the other Nifflers who were also looking adoringly at her from inside her pockets.

Poppy was watching the handsome man the students performing the spells. There were some slaps flying around, a decent and expected amount of chaos, lots of charming, and a sufficient amount of drama. Poppy sat on the table, crossed her chubby little legs and ate the cookies Karla brought for her as she watched the students play. Maybe she should put her Entrancing Enchantments to work and catch a Williamson. Hmmm... Nah, she was far too comfortable stuffing her face with the cookies and enjoying all the drama unfold. She giggled every once in a while, spraying crumbs of cookies and saliva everywhere.

"There are four nifflers still wondering about!" She announced after counting them, then resumed eating.

If you didn't "befriend" a niffler it's because you broke the rules. Remember, one post to attract (even if it's to attracted an already attracted niffler), and another to befriend, to which you need to use the Befriending Charm! There are four nifflers up for grabs, and if you didn't specifically mention it on your title I will not count it. Thank you for all the giggles, by the way.

He needed to get it into Kurumi's head that he, out of all the boy's in the room, that he was the best for her. He was smart, on the Quidditch team, and the only other Gryffindor--which was obviously the best quality.

Then the slap happened....

Teh lion didn't really feel the slap and his face went blank for a second before realizing what had happened. Kurumi slapped him? Whyyyyyyyy? He looked at her questioningly, feeling horrible. What on earth had he done to deserve that?! Then what they were doing came back to him, especially the part about the slapping Miss. Poppy had said. Ohh.

OH!

"Kurumi, I'm sooo sorry!" he said appologizing over and over again. There was no way he would ever be with her; oh well not that she was bad, just...just that they were like brother and sister. He was with Taryn. Oh Merlin, what was he going to tell Taryn?! Geez. He was in for it big time.

Walking away from Kurumi, trying to avoid anymore awkwardness and vowing to himself to not bring that up EVER again, Auggie decided he needed to get a move on trying to deal with these Nifflers. He walked over to where he dropped his wand before and picked it up and then turned it on himself. "Coliuime Anbemailo." He concentrated really hard and then he saw the spell's little poof of light.

Did it work?

The Lion looked around the room and then saw the Niffler that was starting to walk towards Kurumi and the fourth year stepped closer to it and called it over. "Hey there little guy!!"

What? Oh no no no no. Oakey wasn't giving up his Rabbit's foot. He pocketed the chain and the foot and grabbed Alyssa's left hand. Eying the shiny metal loop that would fit perfectly around her ring finger. ALYSSA WILL YOU DO ME THE HONOR!... he exclaimed for the whole class to hear sliding the shiny metal loop slowly down her finger. But then he paused and his eyes laid down on her hand he was holding.

Somewhere deep down in the back of Oakey's mind his rational thinking was imprisoned by the POWER OF LOVE and his thoughts were screaming at him not to do it! Stop! You'll make a huge fool of yourself! ALYSSA FOR THE LOVE OF MERLIN'S UNDERPANTS PLEASE SLAP ME!

August continued to inch forward to the little Niffler that had been making googley eyes at Kurumi, not unlike he had been doing just miniutes before, and then stopped about 3 feet away.

"Come on little Niffler." August waved as the creature's little head turned to look at him.

Suddendly it switched paths away from the Gryffindor Prefect and began to waddle towards him instead. Oh brilliant! When it came close enough to him August pointed his wand at the little guy and cast the befriending charm. "Malin Calin."

Auggie put his finger gingerly towards the niffler to see if the spell had worked and the creature sniffed it and then hopped right into the fourth year's hand. Excellent!

Glenn had stood there biting her lip as she looked around to see if any nifflers were coming towards her. Nope. None. Maybe she hadn't done the spell right... hmm.

She raised her wand and had it pointed at herself, ready to do the spell when she saw the most amazing boy in front of her: Daichi.

She stowed her wand back inside her robes and looked at him for a second.

But wait. What was this?

What in Merlin's beard was he doing with that girl?!

The badger rushed up to Daichi and walked along in his wake. The urge to grab ahold of his hand overpowered her and she slipped her hand into his free one, the other was still being held by the other girl.

She let out a girlish giggle that was far too Auntie Poppyish and batted her eyes. "'Ello handsome." With her free hand she started fussing with her curls, pushing the stray strands behind her ear. Why hadn't she worn the scarce make-up that she had in her dormitory today?

Now that he had befriended and attracted his first Niffler and scooped the little guy up, August was ready to find some of the other unclaimed ones that were still running around. After searching the room a bit and trying to avoid the other chaos ensuing around him with students attracting other students, he found a Niffler that was starting to be attracted to a Ravenclaw girl.

Now that he already had the attraction charm placed on himself, the Gryffindor just moved within eyesight of the creature and waited for it to change direction. He must be pretty attractive with this spell on him for the Niffler changed its path immediately and started running as fast as its little, stubby legs could carry it. Yes, it was getting close.

Alyssa noticed that a Niffler headed for Kurumi and was almost reaching her so she quickly took out her wand pointed it at herself and said,"Coh-LEE-wee-meh Nn-BEE-my-low". Then she waved over and shouted to it. "Hey there little guy, come over to me. I have a friend here who is very lonely. Yes come over here." She called out to it.

She saw that she had finally attracted it's attention, so she picked up the Niffler she had and showed it to the other Niffler. "Here he is. He's your friend and he's lonely. Come over here." Alyssa waited while the Niffler started to head in her direction.

Dodging the crazy attracted students was becoming the hardest part of this lesson very quickly. The spells were complicated but when he concentrated hard enough he seemed to be pretty adequate at casting them. As the little Niffler ran towards him, the fourth year lion pointed his wand at the creature and then said the Befriending charm.

"Malin Calin." He said it with as much concentration he could muster and hoped that the Niffler would be befriended correctly. The Niffler stopped for a second, sniffed the air and then glad hopped onto the bottom of Auggie's robes and climbed up onto his shoulder.

A second success.
