  Max often feels neglected by his busy parents, but he enjoys the time he does spend with them. He has become very independent from spending most of his time on his own. His love for animals and Quidditch both came as a result of time with his parents while they're at work. Tyler and Max do not get along well. Max's father is particularly strict with him when it comes to his education, and his mother was wild about him being on the Quidditch team. His father expects him to do wonderfully on his OWLs; his mother, originally disappointed that he didn't try out for Quidditch his first three terms, has high hopes for him to be the best Keeper in the school.

• Max is one of those guys that you just want to wrap in a massive hug and pinch his cheeks because he's so sweet. He channels his own low self-esteem and transforms it into positive encouragement toward others. He has a big heart and values friendship above all else.
  
  Still, Max's massive self-esteem issues are a huge burden. Far too often he worries that he is not good enough - in school, Quidditch, friendships, anything. He doesn't want to disappoint anyone and has a crippling fear that he will fail. As he is a people-pleaser, he also avoids conflict and strives for harmony. Because he thinks he will make a fool of himself, he hates being the center of attention.
  
  Though his insecurities are great, he hides them well; it is very rare that one would see him upset or angry. He is very levelheaded around others and finds joy in being kind to everyone.

• Max is a big fan of Quidditch, as he grew up watching his mum play. He also shares his father's love for magical creatures. In his spare time, one can find Max with his nose behind a book - usually reading for fun when he should be studying, but this term he knows he needs to crack down and study for his OWLs. Though Max may not have a huge group of friends, his friends mean the world to him. He may be socially awkward and prefer time alone, but the thought of new friends makes him smile. He also has an obnoxious sweet tooth. If you ever want someone to accompany you to Honeydukes, Max is your guy.

• His biggest fear is being singled out in a crowd, which makes his new position as Keeper a bit unfortunate for him, though it is a good learning experience. When something means a lot to him, such as Quidditch or his best friends, it can bring out the worst in him. Though he wouldn't act on his adrenaline, he can become very irate when he loses and overly defensive when any of his friends are threatened in any way.

Travis is a very passive, shy boy. He tries to keep on everyone’s good side, he has never made an enemy before, and he plans to keep it that way. He might have a quiet bark, but his bite is not something to be tested, he was constantly being used by his brothers as a punching bag.

Travis was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He was the third son, seven years younger than his brothers. Leo and Walter, Travis’ older brothers, have always had a more muscular, athletic build than Travis. As he grew up, Travis was always outshined by the accomplishments; both his brothers had been accepted into The Quidditch Academy, but when Travis went for it a year ago, he was denied a she didn’t quite reach the bar that his brothers had set.

Travis had lived a very mundane life, and was used as a target for his brothers. They threw anything in arms reach that would leave permanent damage (they seemed to think that knowing it wouldn’t leave him in a coma made it acceptable).

His parents had not allowed him to go to a muggle Primary school, seeing as whenever he got the slightest bit stressed, he would make something or other blow up… and that just didn’t look right if every time he got a test that he hadn’t studied for, it would spontaneously combust. He had, however, been able to go watch all of his brothers’ exhibitions at the Quidditch Academy, which were extremely fascinating.

When Travis was denied entry to the Quidditch Academy, his parents started rushing to file all the paper work to put Travis back into Hogwarts’ list. He and his brothers were all supposed to go to Hogwarts until, Walter and Leo decided they wanted to try for the Quidditch Academy. Both his parents had gone to Hogwarts, as well their parents, and grandparents. His family history (with an exception here and there) is mostly composed of Ravenclaws and Gryffindors. So it’s most likely, in Travis’ mind, that he will be sorted into one of those two.
